Sugared Amber Dreams

I stumbled across a rollerball of this fragrance when decluttering today, and I completely forgot I had it! When I tell you this is one of the most beautiful gourmand scents I have ever smelled, I'm not exaggerating one bit. It may even be competing with my current favorite vanilla gourmand: "Eilish" by Billie Eilish. It's so cozy, warm, and sweet, and is perfect for autumn and winter wear. It also has a slight spiciness to it that I really love; it reminds me of walking into a bakery during fall, when cinnamon and pumpkin spice take center stage! Even after how many years it's been sitting in storage (I honestly don't remember when I purchased this), it still smells amazing, and has aged wonderfully. When looking into a full-size of this fragrance, I didn't realize this is now discontinued and very rare to find for a reasonable price. If you are able to get your hands on this, I highly recommend it, though! As I said before, it's a gorgeous sweet-spicy, vanilla gourmand fragrance, and I do not sense any cloying or offensive qualities on my first impression. I cannot wait to give this a proper try during colder seasons!

Picked this up for $10 at TJ Maxx. I've been wanting to try out Pacifica perfumes but wasn't sure they were worth the price but this one sure is. It is one of the sweetest perfumes I've tried and I am a gourmand lover. I would say it's almost cloying because it is so intensely sweet but I'm down with it- I get the notes of vanilla and amber. It brings a baked good to mind but I haven't been able to figure out which one but it's a dessert that would make you sick after a few bites. It's delicious and the performance is amazing. I think this scent lasts the longest on me than any others I've tried. I smelled it a good 12 hours later after sleeping. Definitely going to try other Pacifica perfumes after experiencing this one. Edit: it randomly came to me. It smells like very sweet icing!

I have this in body butter for wearing at bedtime, and in a roll-on bottle. It's a comforting and happy smell. The spray fragrance is sparkling and has wonderful lasting power. In addition to sugary amber notes, I occsionally get milk chocolate notes (mostly when I'm cold). In the heat, this is more a light, bright vanilla. It's perfect for year-round, any time, anywhere wear. If you love Prada Candy you will surely love Sugared Amber Dreams. They smell different in their bottles, but they are very much alike on my skin...lovely!

This was my signature scent for several years... Once it was discontinued I began my hunt for something I could equally love (which is Chocolate Greedy)... Since discontinued I have collected upwards of a 100 different frag's, and it doesn't appear to ever be settling down, haha... I agree, this frag is like if Grand Soir and Lira had a baby.. I rarely wear this, now that it's an "endangered species" though 😓... Beautiful though, if you find a bottle- treasure it... If you don't, DM me, and I'll be happy to buy it off you! 🤗

Perfectly sweet and dreamy. Smells like candied apple on initial spray and dries down gorgeously gourmand. Definitely a softer but unique, creamy Amber vanilla. But not overwhelming. I highly recommend this. Love the packaging. Wish it was available in stores however. It's usually a bit overpriced. Definitely recommend if you like Indian Coconut Nectar and Island Vanilla. This one tops them both. It's the balanced one of the gourmand Pacifica scents in my opinion. Can't go wrong with this one.

I bought this because it sounded like something inexpensive to try and I wanted to get a scent that had more natural ingredients. I was VERY pleasantly surprised. I get a warm vanilla with an ambery background and pretty good longevity. It's NOT overly sweet to me but it is sweet. I liked it so much that I went back to buy another for a gift. I will probably use mine more for layering with a plain vanilla or to give more "oomph" to one of my B&BW mists. Very happy I took the plunge.

I've got almost every gourmand scent on the planet and have looked long and hard for something that simply smells like sugar. This is the closest thing I've found that I wouldn't have to try send overseas for or spend a fortune on (other than the Lemon Pledge-scented Fresh Sugar). It really does smell like toasted sugar. It does dry down to essentially Island Vanilla, but it's not like Island Vanilla smells bad, I really like that one too, so it's fine. 4 stars

Wonderful, inexpensive treat! I sprayed both this and the Vanilla at Ulta. Couldn't smell Island Vanilla (save for an alcohol kick), however this beauty kept me calm and blissful for the hour ride home. That's what fragrance is all about. Nose pressed to wrist. Contentment. It's quite vanilla to my nose and sweet. Mellow, no shriek. I cannot wait to buy a bottle. The larger spray version!

For a price of 22 dollars retail, it smells like MFK grand soir and Xerjoff Lira had a baby. Sweet, ambery, not too much benzoin, and on my skin, lasts all day. This is probably my husbands most favorite scent - it reminds him of an icecream shop his family went to when he was a kid.

I bought a roller ball of this many years ago and wish I bought a full bottle before it was discontinued. One of my absolute fave drugstore perfumes. If you love gourmand, sweet and warm scents, this is for you ♥ Still trying to find something similar to this to this day.

I agree with the person who said it has an earthy/woody quality underneath it's sugary vanilla-amber sweetness. It doesn't excite me too much on its own but when I layer this with a white floral I think I smell like an angel!

this is one of the most amazing perfumes i have ever used. it's strong, long lasting, and smells like heaven. seriously my favorite ever.

I wore this fragrance all fall last year, and I was nervous to get it because I'm not the biggest fan of amber. However, I decided to open up my pallet and I'm glad I did because I really enjoyed this fragrance. It was great balance of vanilla and amber with a touch of sweetness. It performed more like a body mist, but every time I applied it I really enjoyed it and it really went perfect with the season. I'd buy it again if I could find it.

I LOVE sweet scents that have a bit of warmth. I was really craving for this to have more amber in it given the name. It was SO sweet. Not quite what I was looking for. I add a bit of amber to it when I wear it. I will say that it last a very long time on me, so if you like it that's good news. Not really my favorite but I'll give it another try when winter comes around again.

This is my first Pacifica fragrance. Im impressed, i didnt expect much as the price is low and the reviews are varied on some of the scents. I love the scent, Its relaxing and yet sexy. The longevity is crazy long, I wore it yesterday & just woke up and can still smell it on my skin. Not just my clothes, its still on my skin. I def want to try some of the other scents now.

Wearing this today. Have maybe 1/6 a bottle left. I think it's gone off. Very alcoholy and sour vanilla topnotes. 😪 Drydown still beautiful though. That'll teach me not to hoarde the dregs of my old favorites. BROOKE!!! COME OOOON! BRING IT BACK.

This isn't really a perfume for wearing. It's for layering with their lotions similar to Body Shop or Victoria's Secret. This is just like the hand cream and lotion; sweet, sugary amber vanilla that is carmelized.

It's not my favourite of the Pacifica scents. If you like the scent description and are into more mainstream vanilla gourmand scents, this might work for you. But for me it smells too similar to Island Vanilla (which I also did not love) plus an almost sour woody undertone.

This smells nothing like Island Vanilla to me, so I’m not sure what so many people are smelling. This is a really heavy, strong amber before anything else— more sweet than it is vanilla with something that reminds me of dates or figs in the background. It honestly smells the most similar to Derek Lam & Crosby 10’s 2am Kiss on the dry down except weaker on the woody notes and WAY more sweet. The best thing I can say about it is that the longevity was pretty spectacular in comparison to Pacifica’s other offerings—it stayed for 4-5 hours with moderate projection. I actually ended up showering to get it off because the amber never really settled down on me and it was making me feel a little suffocated. I traded it away immediately, not for me.

Sickeningly sweet, like opening a can of candied figs, but without the fruitiness of the figs. The first and most prominent scent is melting sugar, but suddenly a hint of vanilla and amber appears. Sugared Amber Dreams by Pacifica is a disappointment. One of my favourite scents is Malibu Lemon Blossom by Pacifica, a fresh and very organic scent of lemon. Tuscan Blood Orange was also a pleasant experience, however, Sugared Amber Dreams smells like every perfume you would get for free in a teenage magazine.

I received this in the mail from Amazon today. And, unfortunately, I cannot return it. I liked the initial fragrance of sweetness and amber, but in less than five minutes a very off-putting, strong burnt note appeared and took over the other notes. Fortunately, I didn’t spend much money on it, but still...it’s very disappointing. I’ll try layering it and see what happens. But rats. I was so looking forward to try it.

On the dry down, Sugared Amber Dream smells like a lightly campfire toasted marshmallow. It's very sugary sweet and fluffy with a slightly resinous sweet amber. As it dries down further it's more of a plainer, sweet, low quality, synthetic-plasticky vanilla like many others but for a good hour I find it enjoyable. After that hour, it's too sticky and artificial.

I purchased this at Sprouts in 2021/2022 for 15$. I wish there were multiple, I would have bought every single one! This smells like Absolute Aphrodisiac. It is spot on Absolute Aphrodisiac with some added booziness in the opening. When the dry down dissipates, the middle and base notes are Absolute Aphrodisiac by Initio with almost no distinction. A gem of a perfume that rarely anyone talks about in comparison to its Island Vanilla counterpart. This one is so deep, lux, and almost niche! Bring this back Pacific, please 😭

<--- big Pacifica fan. However- this one let me down. This is the NEWEST addition to the Pacifica library / collection so I was really excited about it. Starts off with a big natural smelling sugar blast then shortly after-- the sugar is totally gone and we are left with a blunt , harsh, almost medical/synthetic amber base. This base sorta gave me a headache . This one is already traded away. Sad. Sorry Pacifica . Better luck next time.

I love this! Wearing it today and have it had a while but never wrote a review. I have tried SO many vanillas...low, medium and high-end and this is a wonderful contender. I won't lie...it is quite similar to Island Vanilla but it is still a great and EXTREMELY affordable vanilla to open your home to in these troubled times with increasing inflation! :) Go buy yourself a bottle...go!

This is nice and sweet. If you like VS Amber Romance or BBW Warm Vanilla Sugar, I think you'll like this. It's syrupy and sugary but still light. Longevity is average. It's not woody like their Island Vanilla scent. It's great for teens and tweens. Almost all Pacifica scents I've smelled are great gift options because the scents are inoffensive but varied enough.

I smelled this in store at an Ulta, and I liked it a lot. It was like someone took a scent of rice crispy treats and made it more mature. When I took it home and opened it, it had an old wood smell. Anyone else have this experience. I don't know if I got an old product or what went wrong there but a few of their other lotions smelled pretty "off" to me.

This is fantastic as a hair mist. You will smell yummy all day! or wear it to bed and your pillow will smell sweet and delicious all night and when you wake up in the morning. This scent is better for layering or wearing to bed for comfort, especially during the cooler months.

It is good for girls all ages. Vanilla isn't popular in my previous home country and I couldn't associate vanilla with sweet and dessert. Now I find vanilla very soothing and calming to me. I have many vanilla scented products now.

Just like Island Vanilla except with a heartier amber base. Nothing new or original from Pacifica, which is disappointing. But for what the perfume aims for, it's quite nice and lovely. I'd still stick with Island Vanilla though.

Vanilla sugar with an ambery base. Fairly light and very sweet, but pleasant and easy to wear, at least with my chemistry. Doesn't last long, but for a super sweet vanilla, it's not bad at all.

i highly recommend this one if you got that vanilla craving. i tried different brands but this tops everything for me. i don't like their lotion or roll on versions however.

I have the perfume and body butter in this. More vanilla sugar than amber, but still yummy. It's a simple fragrance that you wear when you just want to smell edible.

Just got this and it's long lasting. Can be work alone or layered if you just want to smell yummy or want to give a woodsy scent a little sweetness.

How close is this to L by Lolita Lempicka? I'm looking for something similar, and as I see L suggested here I'm curious about this fragrance.
