Collezione Privata Cashmere E Ambra

A quick first impression as I cracked the seal on my bottle a short while ago. I am a big fan of the Collezione Privata line (very underrated IMO) but this one has been sitting in a tote for the past 3-years (it was discounted for around $20) since I wasn't that motivated to try it. My mistake because it is actually a decent Fall fragrance that seems like a good casual choice while wearing jeans with a sweater or light jacket. The opening reminds me of other fragrances...surprisingly got a Mont Blanc Legend vibe when first applied and now it reminds of an amalgam of Department Store cologne: sweet gummy vibe, some gourmand tones, hints of Dolce & Gabbana The One and Mont Blanc Legend, and some citrus and soap. Just noticed the amber, ginger and tobacco so that explains The One vibe. As it transitions into the heart and drydown this fragrance develops more of a cashmere, amber, woods & fresh spices feel to it. Just a first impression but I find this fragrance to be pleasant, interesting and a bit odd at the same time. Not one of my favorites from the Collezione Privata line, but not bad either. I'll update after I've spent more time with Cashmere E Ambra. Specially, wearing it out for a few Fall evenings because this fragrance seems most appropriate for those occasions.

Got a bottle of this for just under $19. It is very attractively packaged with a silk kerchief in the cylindrical box. It reminds me of a few fragrances, being some what gourmandy in a similar way to Angel Schlesser Essential but also being reminiscent of Dior Homme. It is warm and rich with a woody- resinous background and lasts really well. It is definitely worth a try. EDIT. Got a second bottle for $12.50 and a 80% full tester for $4... Of the 4 in this series, this one is my first choice.

Not my favorite one from the collection. it is quite common to be honest but given the price still a good alternative...yes..there is some 90s vibe in it...I do not find it special but once it passes the top...it gets a bit better...viaggio is a much better choice for sure...but again...this is not a bad scent given the price tag

Got to test 3 out 4 of this collezione This one is the sweetest one , ambery and deeper but very lineair More a floral sweet conjunction of sugared fruit and amber and from start till end a romatic fragrance , evening wear not for hot summer days K1 describes a 90's vibe and his review is spot on! Most common of the 3 i have tested, not a mind blowing one but still good
