Aqua de Dora

The notes listed don’t do this fragrance justice. This is stunning. First of all, although none are listed, I sense a lot of herbals and aromatics in this. More so than any aquatic notes. Opening is sparkling, realistic citruses with a lot of wild and garden herbs. No specific herb jumps out, but reminiscent of perhaps verbena with thyme or other greens. Crunchy, watery but mimicking rain or morning dew more than sea. I don’t get sea at all in this (no salt, no seaweed, no brine, no fish). There is prominent wood and soft green fig (more leafy rather than milky). I don’t detect any chestnut. Mid dry down is mostly citrusy with woods as the greens recede a little. Woods are dry but also a little warm (sandal). Sillage is crispy yet the trail is prominent even several hours in. 5+hrs it dries to cashmeran, woods. At this stage the dewy aspect is nearly gone. Woods dominate with quite a bit of zest still present. Good longevity for a spring-summer fragrance. Past 7hr mark and still detectable. Leaves the most enticing, fresh scent. Like a Nordic wiking - with strong presence, one with the nature, true to the Scandinavian experience. This is smth that hasn’t been smelled too often before and really an under the radar gem! Disclaimer: I am a female and when I bought this I was not aware it is marketed as strictly masculine scent. I would describe the opening and mid stages as unisex. From mid to late dry down stages certainly becomes more masculine. But a female can pull this off no problem. I can see this being layered well with softer fig, citruses or even minty fragrances to swing it more to the unisex-feminine side if one wishes so.

I have Bvlgari Tygar and Aqua de Dora and they do in fact smell very similar. Aqua de Dora seems to jump off of the skin a little more than Tygar and is a little more tart. The quality of Aqua de Dora is top shelf but I can't justify the price-tag. Buuuuuut, if you have a few hundred dollars burning a hole in your pocket and are looking for a summer-stunner that will garner complements and last just about all day, Aqua de Dora should be at the top of your list! We hit 80 degrees last weekend and wore this outside while around family and friends. Sprayed it right out of the shower and was around people all afternoon till around 9pm. Got 3 complements (one of them was from my wife) and caught wafts all day long. It is strong and can easily go nose-blind....so go easy with the sprays! It's fairly linear and doesn't go through any drastic changes. Grapefruit and ambroxan is what I pick up the most throughout the day. If you spray it on your clothes it will easily last 24 hours. I could smell my shirt in the laundry basket the next morning even before I got to the laundry basket!! Is owning Aqua de Dora redundant if you own Bvlgari Tygar? Yes, I think it is. But, if I had to choose one or the other, I'd pick Aqua de Dora. Tygar is no slouch but there's something about Aqua de Dora that checks all the boxes. Cheers!

Within 4 months of use and 20ml gone, I think I can give a pretty well put together thought on this. A very good fragrance for everyday casual wear but also can wear to everything in my opinion, as the ambroxan just gives it such a strong back bone and the freshness from the grapefruit and fig is a joy on your nostrils. Very sharp lemon peel in the opening that is later accompanied by tangy, pretty addictive grapefruit. I personally find that the lemon peel stays too long, but I’d say it’s just me not being an overly big fan of it. Once in the mid, I find this to be the most delightful part and just super addictive. Hints of masculine ambroxan along with bitter grapefruit and fruity, slightly sweet fig. A genuine perfect mix. Cannot rave about this part enough and think everyone should try this fragrance just for this part. Personally I like Bvlgari’s Tygar the most out of this dna, due the candied, sherbet grapefruit smell that I get from it being sensational, making it my most beloved fresh fragrance ever but I would put this in 2nd with Sospiro’s Vibrato in 3rd.

This is a very nice addition/take on the L'Immensite, Tygar, Vibrato etc. DNA without being redundant if you own any of the afore mentioned. As others have mentioned, the Chestnut and Cashmere are primarily responsible for the variation which makes this scent truly stand apart from its competition. It's a bit pricey but I do believe it's just as good, if not better than the others we find ourselves paying as much or more for. Well blended, quite smooth and the performance is very good which more than justifies the price point. This is more than blind buy safe if you enjoy grapefruit dominant fragranges and I highly recommend getting your paws on it. Very much looking forward to and intrigued by other options from this House as a result of the tremendous first impression Aqua de Dora has left on me. FYI...I do get the Afternoon Swim comparison as previously mentioned in reviews and it only adds to the phenomenal scent profile.

My favorite fresh fragrance - noted that this still has great complexity and nuance to it. Total blind buy, total success. It's one to give me chills! The Vibrato + fig + chestnut experience is real - a nutty-fruity citrus forward fragrance that develops into a soft musk. Very non-synthetic, quite real, juicy ripe fig, with a bit of darkness to it while being ultra versatile and crowd pleasing. Paid around $140 for 100ml, full pres. Worth every penny and might even be one I end up having to get another bottle. Between this and Vibrato (I do not know Tygar nor how it smells, but it's impossible for it to not smell quite similar to Vibrato), I choose this every time, or maybe 9/10 times. Vibrato is fresher, more invigorating while this has enough to get me through warmer days of winter even. Perfect signature.

This was the theme scent of summer 2025, just getting into niche. During the past year, my collection grew, filling more and more of my ”slots”, and also expanding the number of slots for my collection. The ”feel good, summer vacation” slot was taken by a blind buy of Vibrato, since it would be this tygar DNA but, stronger and longer lasting. I got Vibrato early spring, was very happy with it. But then summer came back, and I rediscovered this. Aqua de Dora evokes something in me that Vibrato doesn’t. They are similar, but they also do completely different things. Different vibes. Sure, vibrato might be a little stronger and longer lasting, but Aqua de Dora holds its own. Great scent. Might be an all time favorite of mine.

I love Tygar but it's so expensive that I can't afford it. (Though the bottle is majestic) I also love Vibrato and I bought it at a big discount. I tried Ingenious Ginger a few months ago, which follows the same path, but it ended up being intensely sweet and more feminine like Hedonist. Today my 'perfume-walk' brought me to Aqua de Dora. Unbelievable! Shock! So similar to Tygar that I was left frozen! High-quality and juicy in contrast to Vibrato which is drier and slightly synthetic. I recently broke my piggy bank for Jubilation 40, so I'm saving again! 100ml at about 220 euros retail price. Edit: Around me, in the air, when its cold ιn a strange way it strongly reminds me of Loewe 7 Natural

Don't listen to the people that say this is not great or this is not original. This is fucking awesome! One of the best aquatic fragrances I've ever smelled. And it's very high quality on top of it. I really don't get people sometimes. Take a second and read the brief. I get the ocean and I also get the forest. If you are someone who really enjoys nature, this one will blow your mind. It's so beautiful. That's all I need to say. Besides the fact that it is 100% unisex. Yes I'm aware it was created for men, but I do not care. This does not smell masculine to me. This smells like Beautiful earth. Exceptional.

I've tried all Pana Dora's now and it's a great brand! Their fragrances are very well composed. Aqua de Dora is quite easy to review. It's for sure that Tygar DNA but with some differences. I do get the Fig/Chestnut notes in the middle here, which adds a middle eastern vibe to the DNA, and I like it! it's a small remix of a great perfume, simply put. Performance was honestly not the best compared to others from the brand, but that's usually the case with more citrus-heavy fragrances. Good pick-up, and easy blind buy if you're looking into buying something within that Tygar family.

Aqua de Dora smells like a smooth citrus fragrance, I believe it’s the chestnut and cashmere that doesn't make the citrus too harsh. In my opinion this is better and easier to wear than Vibrato because of that. I’ve gotten told that Vibrato smells too polarizing. The tygar DNA gets me so many compliments, especially from women so I would say Aqua de Dora might be the best take on the DNA. The performance is good, lasts days on my clothes and I would say all day on my skin.

An incredibly good fresh fragrance suited to most of the year and occasions. Aqua de Dora, which takes inspiration from Bvlgari's Tygar (as well as Sospiro's Vibrato), emits a fresh but alluring scent that will captivate most people. The utilisation of the fig and chestnut notes gives the fragrance some depth, akin to creations from Middle Eastern perfumery. Great performance (lasts all day on my skin), a decent price, and a nice bottle design that is quality.

I never forget my first reaction to this one.. when I sprayed it , my eyes opened up and I shouted "wooow" No other fragrance has wowed me this much. this is heavenly.. it's not trying to be different and challenging. It's very crowd pleasing and like a blue fragrance. and one of my most complemented frags ever (if not the most). cherry on the cake is the performance. it projects really good and will get you noticed. One of my favorites .. instant love

The only thing I dislike is lemon zest at the opening. I'm not an citrus lemon fan at all. The dry down comes after 10,15 min and it's getting the scent I like. Very similar to Arrakis. Vibrato is still at the top. Will wait for wormer weather to test the performance on this one and will edit. Edit: i got used to lemon zest,no problem now. It become one of my most wearable worm weather take. Maybe more than Vibrato.

Opens with sparkling fresh lemon. After some time a creamy woodiness emerges and lasts throughout. Well blended. Very similar to Forever Love. Whereas Forever Love has orange/melon, Aqua has lemon. I prefer Aqua since I think lemon melds with the wood notes better. Also the performance of Aqua was slightly better than Forever Love, at least with respect to longevity.

This smells amazing, musky leathery scent with lemon, i like it and im always receiving complements on the smell, when im moving around i can smell the scent and others cleary can smell it, howver when sitting down i cant smell the scent and it gives the illusion that its weak but its definitely not, good sillage and lasts pretty good ( 6-8 hours on me)

The best citrus forward summer perfume available. Complex and perfectly blended natural grapefruit, balanced by the musk, wood and chestnut I get 14 hour performance and the sillage wafts from a distance while not being at all overpowering 9.5/10 (would be a 10/10 if Forever Love wasn't Pana Dora's masterpiece)

Aqua de Dora is SO good! It has that mass appeal direction, but very refined & well-blended. The best niche citrus & musky freshie out there, and it LASTS and projects more than you'd expect for a freshie. I still get whiffs the next day on my clothes. Absolute classy fresh.

So gorgeous. A bright and shining grapefruit with a touch of spice that gets musky and woody on the dry down. Great lasting power and projection. This will probably be my next big fragrance purchase. The sample was well worth it.

This is similar style as Tygar but with added notes such as fig and chestnut, i find this more versatile and a bit more unique. Both are fantastic, not redundant to own both, they smell different.
