Kropp Och Själ

This was not an immediate love for me. To be quite honest, the Baccarat Rouge DNA was never really my cup of tea. I'm not that familiar with Coromandel (I've only smelt it a good while ago), either. First, the opening is very, very pleasant. That zesty, sweet burst of blood orange is zingy and juicy. I also get a lot of florals but not in a screechy way, this is masterfully blended, as I've come to expect from the house. I struggle slightly more with the drydown, which those who love BR540 (closer to the extrait, I'd say) and Oud for Greatness will immediately feel at home with. Kropp och själ definitely does have that DNA mixed in but more leathery. I find it unisex like BR540 but sadly on my skin, that DNA turns into an acidic B.O. kind of vibe that is a big turn off. However, people seemed to really like it so maybe it's my nose at work here. Performance wise, this is a monster, like BR540 EDP. I can still smell it on my skin the next morning and it projects a lot in the first 2-3 hours. Spray this one too much and you'll fill a room for sure. As such, this is a cold season perfume, Fall and Winter mostly, and colder Spring days. I also find this to be more of a date or night out type of DNA. There is something quite "cozy" about it, though. I suppose that's where the name (which means "body and soul") comes into play. Either way, as much as I love this in the air and on a friend of mine (who's female), on me this just turns not so pleasant. Objectively speaking however, this is classy as heck and considering how masterfully blended this is and the price difference between it and BR540, this is very much worth the price of admission. Dressed up by an elegant woman or a confident man, this would be an absolute stunner of a perfume.

WOW!!! This is definitely one classy fragrance, the formula is extremely complex so much so that it's almost impossible to discern any single element or note, after a powerful medicinal barage of top notes the drydown morphs into a spicy, herbal plus exotic floral melange that is patchouli/amber centric while wrapped up within a gauze of white chocolate, orris & leather, a very tight & sophisticated frag that takes the wearer on a whirling dervish ride of olfactive ecstasy, it is THAT GOOD!!! Niche in every aspect of it's composition, the terminal effect lasted almost 12 hours on skin and even persisted into the next day... This is touted by the fragrance house of Pana Dora as having scented ties with the royal Swedish court from centuries past and I must say that to close one's eyes while breathing in this majestic chypre styled perfume it wouldn't be that difficult to imagine such a regal & noble setting, the presentation is spectacular from the heavy weighted bottle to the solid metal overcap while nestled in a golden foiled cylindrical coffret, absolute luxury in every regard with no expense spared, very rarely does a fragrance have this effect with me, I find it totally mesmerizing & the myriad ingredients are of the highest quality, lovers of both vintage & contempory perfumery should try this as it has a truly singular aura that is utterly novel and intrinsically authentic. well worth the expense but do sample first before a full bottle purchase as RRP is Swedish 2800 kroner approx. (US$275-300) . My next review for this house will be XVI, at first sniff it too smells gorgeous... and that, as they say, is another story!!!

Wow. That all i can say is just. Wow. This fragrance is absoloutley beautiful and is so unbelievably high quality it almost transcends perfume for me. Whenever id read all these brands claiming its not just a perfume but an emotion and an experience, i kinda just took it all for marketing and bs but this fragrance from Pana Dora is absoloutley incredible. When i close my eyes and smell this i am instantly transported into the wilderness, With beautiful flowers at my feet, tall grown trees by my side and wildlife going about their days. This fragrance is absoloutley gorgeous for both men and women and i dont see it as more masculine or feminine i see it as PERFECT middle ground. This has completely changed how i look at perfume and i am happily going to become the number 1 Kropp&Själ glazer 10/10 incredible

Incredibly smooth and soothing. This scent is one of those ones that can be used at any time of the year. Incredibly fresh and calming. Feels like it's simple yet has a deeper complexity to it. That seems to be Pana Dora's signature. Speaking of signature, this most definitely can be a signature scent. My struggle is trying to decide if this or Orchestra from Pana Dora should be my signature. Incredible house with so many 10/10 fragrance. This along with Orchestra, Aqua De Dora, Forever Love, and Dorasima sits as some of my favorite scents of all time.

This fragrance is so good. Easily my favorite Pana Dora fragrance after smelling all of them. I can only describe it as very masculine with a hint of femininity. The feminine part of this fragrance does not subtract from but actually it adds to the masculinity of this smell. The best way I can describe it is when a lumberjack comes home from work and plays dress up with his daughters. It seems as though it should make him appear more feminine but it really just makes him even more manly.

Wood notes not so powerful for me (at least initially, more on the dry down after 1-2h, but still fairly weak, not a bad thing by any means tho). Very enticing, strong but not harsh sweetness, but not a harsh sweetness. Definitely a complex fragrance. Expensive (€240) but worth it given silliage and performance (6-8h easy), will buy another bottle when my current one is through.

Got a decant of this and its a beautiful fragrance. Very well blended and I'd say its very unisex but slightly masculine leaning if I had to pick a side. Honestly I think it can be worn anytime of year but I'd probably only wear it at night in the summer. @mlpalazzo needs to get her nose checked cuz it smells nothing like oud for greatness. 8.5/10

Im glad i have not smelled this on a girl because i would marry her on the spot. The sweetnes with the saffron is amazing. It has the Mancera instant crush DNA but with more complexity and deph.

Beautifully blended fragrance, to me its a more masculine version of BR540

Regal, sophisticated and niche - for sure. Also dense balsamic turpentine-asphalt undertone of thick genuine leather. Feminine variant of PAP Anubis, black-brown with ruby reflections on the finish with added fruit...raspberries (maybe distorted bloody orange) and a drydown in vanilla amber. I tested in quite strong heat, so my preference would tend to fall into OK from the oscillation between like and ok, but this fragrance is really special and unique...also overpriced as hell. I need to test it in colder weather, but I see great potential here.

Very very very BR540 like, more dense and sweet, sticky sweet I would say. Less hospital smell than BR, much wearable, much refined. I don't see the resemblance with Coromandel, and I use Coromandel very often, it's one of my most used fragrances.

It's a combination between Coromandel by Chanel and Baccarat Rouge 540 by MFK. Yes, it's of a high quality and very well made; but it doesn't have any uniqueness for the price.

Well blended fragrance. It is definitely in the same lane as br540 family of fragrances but, not the same. More suited for cooler weather as it is pretty dense. I enjoy it.

This fragrance indeed has some similarities to BR540 extrait, but it is by no means a clone or a dupe. My guess is that the similarity comes from saffron, which smells similar to how it smells in BR540. To me Kropp Och Sjal smells more complex and more rounded up. Perhaps even deeper than BR540 Extrait. It has certain sweetness (not in a gourmand type of way) and depth. I prefer this to BR540 Extrait (although I do enjoy BR540 Extrait as well). I find Kropp Och Sjal to suit women better than men and to have a moderate to good longevity and moderate sillage when sprayed on skin and clothes. To me this fragrance can be worn in any season and in any time of day or night (but I believe some people can find this to be more suited for colder weather and for night time or special occasions). I also think that this is totally signature scent worthy (just like all Pana Dora fragrances that I have tried so far).

I want to like this one more than I do but I can't really vibe with it. That being said, it's still a good fragrance, but I would have wanted it to be more sweet than it is. It has a fresh opening but the mid notes is very weird on my skin. It kind of smells like bad coffee breath, and it stays like that for a while until it turns into the woody base. OK fragrance, but there are better ones from Pana Dora.

I smell bergamot and cardomom on the top notes, then in the next 5-10 min. it moves to orange notes and it finally dries down to a soft vanillic amber base. Although the fragrantica mentions leather, I don't smell it. It is pleasant however does not last at all - I have to refresh after 2 hours, even on fabric it fades pretty quickly.

Nothing like BR540. Take Seminalis and remove lactons and teenager sweat ... this is what You get. Creative and funky but hard to imagine situation You can wear it. Alluring but not sweet. Sharp fruits, some flowers and sweet side patchouli. Suitable to enjoy time at home. I would skip this one.

Hmmm an interesting one This smells firstly like Coromandel 60percent 20 percent br540(medicinal note that I love) 20 percent musky iris vanilla ( no relation to cruel beluga You’re hit with some blood orange and blueberry white chocolate , Iris musk in the opening. As things simmer down 15 minutes later into a saffron,gingerly cedar In the end your left with saffron,vanilla Patchouly smell This won’t be for most people If you don’t like coromandel or musky fragrances Do not buy this Overall this last long Projects well Has a 8/10 scent Hope this helps

A masculine minestrone soup of Amber. Weird and faint. It's going to a restaurant and eating a plain meal , and when the salty bill comes, you are sad you didn't go visit your mother instead, she would have wipped you something so much more tasteful. Or that great food cart near your building with so much flavor. Seems like everyone had a completely different experience. My mother must really be a phenomenal chef....

I’m so surprised more people don’t find this similar to Oud for Greatness, because they’re so similar to my nose. It’s too harsh and masculine, ended up passing it on to my husband.

This perfume smells like heaven. The fragrance is formulated with high quality notes. One of my top 5's

Check the label on the bottle-2 p's. "Kropp" means body and spells like that.

Please correct the spelling - there is a second 'p' in Kropp.

Is this the walmart version of Penhaligon's?
