Notte d'amore

This starts with a whole lot of fresh green Bergamot, to then dry down to a pleasing woody blend of Tonka Bean, Orange Blossom, Oud and the slightest touch of rose. The oud note though is so subdued, if I hadn't read it was oud, I would have said it's a generic clean woody note. According to the brand this fragrance is supposed to 'merge with the scent of your skin' and I agree, it really does. Despite it being on the fresh and woody side, there is something quite sensual about it, the more it gets to heat up on your skin. It's one of the few fragrances my husband considers 'very strong' and not fit for the worst of the Mumbai heat. Granted he is a chronic over-sprayer. Just keep in mind it's an Extrait de Parfum and 2-3 sprays are plenty for it to last and perform. For me personally I feel this is a perfect fragrance for European spring and summer. It's classy, yet very sensual, fresh woody fragrance, and it's 100% unisex. Btw. the note listing here is neither corresponding to what I'm smelling, nor is it in agreement with what the brand's website states: Top Notes: Bergamot Middle Notes: Tonka Bean, Rose, Orange Blossom Base Notes: Amber, Oud

Raphael was on his way to the work site when he saw Margherita brushing her hair at the window and was enchanted. A beautiful love story was born between them, whose main witnesses were the painter's marvellous paintings. Following the restauration of the most famous painting in which Margherita, the Fornarina, appears, a ring was discovered on the woman's left ring finger, which could possibly be a wedding ring. This had been hidden by the painter's students because of fear of repercussions, but it suggests there was a secret marriage between Raphael and Margherita. Notte d'Amore is a portrait of their first night of love, a love that on the one hand has important notes such as amber and oud, which I must say are very delicate, almost imperceptible, and on the other hand has graceful notes such as citrus, orange blossom and rose, to represent the fugacity of this moment. Fresh, enveloping at the same time, it gives me the sensation of spring, of something as beautiful as it is delicate.

Its alright. Nothing groundbreaking.

This smells like disinfectant wipes. Apparently this can happen with certain people’s skin chemistries with the combo of citrus & orange blossom.

Now this one is chaos to me and i can't define it's uniqueness honestly! although it's the scene of the united bodies of Raphael and Margherita with their true pure love affair. It has citrus & slight oud with oakmoss maybe and vetiver. This one to me is the least i liked in their collection which is the 4th scene.
