Trastevere

My second most favourite scent from the regular line of scents from Pantheon Roma. Trastevere is a very balanced mix of sweet vanilla, dry, roasted chestnuts contrasted with a green, aromatic artemisia and a full bodied, indolic jasmine. Not that is smells very similar to, but it gives me similar vibes, but from far away, to By the Fireplace by MMM. I’d say Trastevere is the more elegant, feminine, sweeter and less smokier version of that. It’s more versatile than Dolce Passione and more easy to wear day to day for most of the seasons because of its predominant vanilla, nutty base. Smells very natural, realistic and expensive. More feminine I would say. I am not familiar with Pantheon Roma, but after sampling most of their line today, I am inclined to think that they use a good amount of natural oils and high quality ingredients when they formulate their fragrances. The packaging and the bottles look and feel very heavy and luxurious. Maybe not five star presentation like Xerjoff, but not far behind! Pantheon Roma is definitely on my radar now!

Absolutely delicious, intoxicatingly sweet gorgeous gourmand. This smells like a cozy Italian sweets and coffee shop, where you can taste creamy chestnut vanilla deserts and at the same time you get a hint of freshly brewed coffee in the air, not quite the coffee taste, more like its foam. I got the sweetest completement on a fragrance to this day about Trastevere. I was at a kids playground with my little one day and suddenly a 3-4y.o. boy stopped playing with the others, looked around and yelled: "It smells so nice here! What is this, mommy, what is it, smells so nice!!". Guilty as charged and being somewhat close (so obviously it was me😀) I ask him, "What does it smell like?" "Biscuits!! I looove biscuits!!!" Beast projection and longevity.

This is the only perfume I have tried out of dozens and dozens that purport to be like baked sweet bread, which actually smells exactly like that. It could be panettone or the pastry served at breakfast with latte in Italy, as far as I am concerned. It is sweet, doughy, rich and buttery. I don't smell anything synthetic at all. It is beastly without being overpowering or causing a headache. This is in the top ten of my rotation, among my 200 perfumes. I simply love it.

Perfume muy oscuro, es un dulce fuera de lo cotidiano. Es un chocolate muy oscuro con toque a castaña. No es la tipica nota de vainilla a la que estás acostumbrado. Tiene mucha personalidad. No lo recomiendo comprar a ciegas. Como te pases con la dosis, te puede hasta saturar el olor. Eso sí, es un perfumazo para clima frío.

Trastevere is chic and delicious and very Italian. A true high quality gourmand with a distinctive nutty opening. Besides the chestnuts I can definitely smell coffee which I absolutely love. The lasting power is good so I consider it a fbw fragrance.

Nice, very good fragrance. Not powerful but just right. Very relaxing smell, combo just right. So far the best I've tried from this house. Smells like fresh baked bread.

Not too sweet not too bitter roasted chestnuts, expensive but totally worth it, the most sexy true gourmand enough but not too much, my all time favourite

Butter biscuits dipped in chestnut liqueur, with a sticky base of vanilla sugar and olive oil. Trastevere is sweet, nutty and very potent, I enjoy it but I find it difficult to wear, as it can get sickening very quickly. Sometimes I detect something synthetic, other times it smells like the most delicious thing on earth. Sadly, I have it on now and it's making me a bit dizzy - next time I'll stick to one spray only.

There's a strong olive oil background which is only detected when you put your nose right against the perfume. Crushed chestnuts, sprinkled with olive oil and vanilla. A dish ready to be eaten rather than be sprayed on. However the fragrance wafts are very pleasant and has an air of gourmand-ness. 7/10

I blind bought this fragrance. I have had it for a little bit more than a year. Here are my opinions: -Overall, I find it to smell like a high quality vanilla candle when you sniff it from the atomizer. -I can smell the olive oil note or accord some say it has, or at least it smells a little bit like it in the opening. -The sillage smells like marshmallows (which I'm not a fan of) not like a creamy gourmand scent. -I personally find the nutty side of this fragrance to be low quality. It doesn't have a nutty texture like Madeleine from Masque Milano. It kind of smells nutty but it doesn't FEEL nutty if you know what I mean. -For me, it is long lasting but it isn't potent. After 4 hours there is no projection from the fragrance, although my pillow will smell like it the next day. -Never received a compliment with this one. -Leans more feminine, but a man can wear this. It is a good quality vanilla scent but its simple. It is not artistic or different for me. Try a sample before you blind buy!

I was sooooo looking forward to sampling & wearing Trastevere by Pantheon Roma. I'm expanding my now favorite, vanilla-centric fragrances to include some "nuttiness." I love almond (Xerjoff Italica), chestnuts, hazelnuts (Parfums de Nicolai Saint Honore), etc. I wore Parfums de Nicolai "Saint Honore" for quite some time when it was first released. But after using it nearly every day for months, I kinda grew tired of it. I received several sizable decants of vanilla+nut+whatever else fragrances. Decided to wear a few, give them a sampling. Perhaps I made the mistake of applying Dries Van Noten "Soie Malaquais" on my left arm and "Trastevere" on my right arm. As an aside, when I applied Trastevere on my right arm, my husband gagged. And the man usually pushes through 99% of my perfume samplings. And this man does NOT have a refined nose for fragrances. With that said, he DOES know what smells really great; he DOES know what smells awful. Sadly, Trastevere is pretty bad. On my skin, the fragrance wears as a moldy, sour, thick, heavy butter bomb. The opening made me recoil, it did. Not sure if it's the artemisia, or the chestnut. For the first 20-30 minutes, this fragrance smells like someone left a buttered piece of bread in an old, moldy suitcase. Afterwards, as another reviewer stated, it DOES smell like stale olive oil. IYKYK. Pass.

It is really a one cozy and sweet gourmand, suitable for colder weather. I really liked it when first sampled on my wrist. But then today zi did a full wear and I'm so glad I did not give in to the urge of buying full bottle. It is so thick, dense and sweet... I find cloying and even nauseating (litteraly). This is so unexpected, as I love condensed milk note e.g. in Lait Concentre by Chabaud... But here the sweet chestnut is simply too much. Btw, I'm also not a huge fan of chestnut as a food/dessert. This would not stop me from trying a perfume, as e.g. I don't drink coffee but I do absolutely love coffee scent. Main point, I would urge you to property sample it before committing to a full size. Also, performance is great...

On me it's so artificial....not feminime, nor masculine...sadly there's nothing attractive in this scent. Maybe I would prefer this fragrance as a scented candle.

It's like some liquor (sweet one), very potent and strong! I tried a few more by this brand - and thought that they are mostly about some desserts & alcohol. And they are intense, yes, but not sickly sweet, no way! (at least for me) Plus I thought that it would be nice if @Fragrantica created a page for leaving some general impressions of the brand (not only this one ofc) Let's say smth about quality, perfumes direction, core ingredients, key perfumers, etc I do understand it all varies, but yet would be potentially helpful - because it's often useless to spend hours testing some house with water-like perfumes (not lasting, not perceivable) or the one focused on gourmands (and you're into woody scents) Actually AI generated summary (based on the reviews) helps quite a lot. Man, I just love Italian fragrance houses. So many bangers! Trastavere might be my second favorite from Pantheon Roma, behind Annone. It’s a nutty, buttery, slightly creamy gourmand with a hint of something herbal that I guess is artemisia if I’m going by the notes here. It’s pretty unisex imo, leaning slightly feminine but I think anyone can rock a scent like this. I can see how some people would find it a bit overwhelming, as its projection and sillage are enormous, but luckily that’s right up my alley. This one is definitely FB worthy! 8/10

Oh my... the coffee hazelnut delicious assorted chocolate with slight notes of bread and chocolate hazelnut croissant. The coffee and hazelnuts plays the main part and it describes the place where Margherita works and the bakery is her father's. a primal winning fragrance for me by Pantheon besides Dolce Passione. I eventually love the house and their amazing creation as you need to read the story to define and connect the fragrances to it.

I purchased a sample not long ago following online recommandation for winter/christmas scent. I enjoy vanilla, but this reeeeealy doesn't do it for me. Oh my, it's a gourmand super sticky and a bit sickening. I find it very in your face. I couldn't keep it on my sking more than 30mn so maybe there is some magic past that point that i'm unaware of. This is not subtle, this is a statement. But not the kind i like. Big pass for me
