Beautiful little cardamom bomb! It's really nicely blended, I get cardamom, woody and ambery notes. It opens very pungent and dark, but soon a sweetness comes forth and softly envelopes the dark green core. There's also a certain fruitiness to it Very elegant and modern. And so versatile, you can just wear it for any occasion. Leans more towards masculine but I would definitely call this unisex. Makes me think of a really cool jetset party with lots of sensual people interacting with one another :) even though the setting for this one is supposed to be New Haven Rowing Club one warm morning of 1967 Projects very well and has an awesome longevity, remains quite linear throughout What a great discovery this new brand

To me it is like BR 540 but without burnt sugar and strawberry lollipops. Nice and strange, but due to omnipresence of Baccarat - not unique

Opens up with lots of cardamom and spicy notes. Reminds me of middle eastern coffee. It dries down to a BR540 style fragrance.

Tested it today for the first time. Smells like BR540 with a touch of vetiver. You definitely get the cardamom, but in a sweet, ambery, and slightly citrusy way. Not your usual cardamom. For me, the longevity and sillage were pretty weak on my skin, though it lasted a bit longer on my clothes.

Soft green sweet cardamom w/pinch of nutmeg, stirred into warm milk, or a bowl of spiced oat porridge on a cold day. Comforting. On paper, it is a bit stronger on the cardamom than it is on my skin.

Opening smells like a weird plastic and very synthetic, but after a while it gets better. The warm tones are nice, but the plastic smell still lingers for me.

I'm reviewing this only from memory, having previously tested it in-store. Of course I had to test the whole collection, and Act II was by far my favourite. First of all, this is in the genre of gourmand. It's very warm, and super cosy. It's very unisex. It doesn't make any sense talking about gender with this one. It's perfect for autumn and winter. I remember a 'toasty' smell. I'm in general crazy about everything that smells like perfectly roasted bread. Don't get me wrong, this is not toasted bread – but it had that 'toast' effect on me. Softly spicy. Again, very warm. Perhaps a bit dry. The colour reflects the fragrance perfectly. It also has this citrusy side, which counterbalance the soft, warm spiciness perfectly. It’s not at all overwhelming, it’s polite, sophisticated and pleasant. Think citrus zest over a dark, soft spicy sponge cake. Not at all as sweet as for example Akro’s Bake . I think this is way more refined. Note that this brand is putting emphasis on the use of synthetics, as contrasting and going against the grain of the 'all-natural ingredients' sort of selling argument. Which is interesting. It's safe to say this is synthetic. Yes, basically all perfumes are synthetic, but this is bringing it forward. It's obviously a statement. And I think people will have mixed feelings about this. However, I don't see an issue with it at all. Of course there are high-quality synthetic ingredients too. This is a very good example. In conclusion, a very interesting genderless soft spicy, warm gourmand. I totally agree with previous reviewer, it is very modern. Friendly and cosy.

another uniquely pleasing fragrance from pantomime. this one feels like smooth old wood covered in a coat of resin slowly that warm cardamom peeks with a hint of citrussiness. i enjoyed the evolution and warm spiciness of this one. and, i agree with emil1724, somewhere during its evolution, it does reminds me a bit of br540...

br540 with a ton of cardamom, and its very good. long lasting and great projection. underrated

To me it is very similar to Nishane’s Papilefiko but 1/2 longevity and double the price.
