Act 3

This is not your average oud! Extremely smooth, silky, I dont know how else to describe it. Very wearable, mysterious. Simple yet complex and elegant. Alongside with Act 4, these two releases are some of my favorites from latest years. Cant wait to see and smell what Pantomime is up to next. Considering you get a 100ml for this its crazy value on the market.

A sweet, leathery patchouli opening, with a genuine 70s vibe. Also some orange or apricot in the back? Bit osmanthus maybe. Makes me think of those retro male 'spicy Spanish' perfumes mixed with leather in a classy car. Or a 70s woman’s suede handbag, carrying the dusty remains of a Parisian vintage perfume on her scarf, with that faint smell of cigarettes smoked in the club the night before. Retro and not shy. Very nice.

Fruity, light airy synthetic wood and Oud fragrance. The bright opening is stunning imo. The oud and woodsy notes kick in quit fast but there is a sort of ripe fruit in there as well which gives a nice balance

For me, Act 3 opens up quite sweet and floral but settles down nicely over a couple of hours into the light oud / leathery vibe that is expected from the description. Overall it is very clean, but almost synthetically so. For the price, the longevity is very average, with a strong opening and then fading quickly to leave almost no sillage within a 1-3 hours. Detectable on the skin for a few more hours though. Definitely not a fragrance for blind buying as it sits very much on the mid line between masculine and feminine, if anything slightly more feminine leaning in my opinion, and I wouldn't buy this again personally. It reminds me of a Comme De Garcons Concrete, but slightly more refined.
