Testing blind I got mild canned peaches and dry apricot in the opening, and while a bit memory invoking (can't remember the last time a can of peaches has been opened in front of me) it was (thankfully) not over the top, providing a pleasant and reserved sweetness beginning. This floated among, well - not much! A sort of generic fresh breezy background that more hot out of the way than try to compliment the fruit notes. This goes on for most of the day, intimately. I didn't ever pick up the fragrance on myself. While the fragrance warms a bit, I'm testing in the winter so maybe hotter weather would open it up a bit more. Looking at the notes now there are no surprises (but I want expecting metal to be an actual note) however I don't get the salt, the rice feels fleeting, and while the sweetness is mild and well balanced, the sugary expectation of cotton candy is, thankfully, not fulfilled. Overall, while mild compared to the gourmandy desserts of other houses, the balance here feels right. It's more casual, but could use a bit more casual elegance.

The smell of a Claire's or other "girly" store in the mall during the 2000s. Slightly synthetic, candy sweet peach rings on top of the shiny linoleum mall floor. My least favorite from the selection of scents I tried from Parralax. Super sweet/fruity fragrances are typically not my gig, but it really does smell like a peach ring candy mixed with this interesting mineralic, slightly rubbery note. Super interesting, and very visceral nostalgia factor for when I would run around with my friends at the mall and the girls in our group would want to stop at Claire's to look at earrings or other things, but overall not for me. As with most Parallax frags, the first spray nukes the room but it quickly retreats into moderate projection and performance. 4.8/10
