The Nirvana

D’ORSAY - À cœur perdu. L.B. is first thing came to mind & I LOVE IT😍💕 If I had smelled PS - Nirvana before purchasing D’Orsay, it would have been EASY to select PS..it’s a tad fresher & more powdery which I ADORE!!️As soon as my D’Orsay runs out (1.7 oz bottle), the PS - Nirvana is a MUST HAVE🤑🛍️ Also, PS - The Mandala has stolen my heart too & I have nothing like it in my collection..seems that one will be the full bottle purchase for me right now💯

Wow wow wow. This is exactly what I’ve been searching for in a summer fragrance completely alluring and addictive citrus jasmine tea. I can’t stop smelling it.

This is a sharp fragrance - cloying and synthetic. It is reminds me of Valaya - the sharp, screechy juice that won't leave your skin no matter what. The Nirvana is not quite that tenacious (and upsetting) but it does have that sharp, overdose of some aromachemical that is anything but nirvana.

The Nirvana had all the ingredients to become a beautiful tea fragrance, but on my skin, the composition turned overwhelmingly sharp and difficult to wear. The fragrance opens with mandarin and bergamot, but instead of smelling juicy or naturally citrusy, the combination reads more like a perfumed cleaning product. The sparkling sharpness immediately overshadows the softer aspects of the fragrance. The biggest issue is the pairing of jasmine sambac with ambrette. Rather than creating a soft floral musk, the two notes combine into a sharp, piercing accord that dominates the fragrance from the very beginning. The jasmine is not indolic or creamy — instead, it feels high-pitched and abrasive, almost metallic in its projection. The ambrette amplifies this effect by adding a fuzzy musky sharpness that becomes increasingly overwhelming on skin. Unfortunately, the black tea note never gets the opportunity to shine. Tea notes are naturally delicate and atmospheric, and here it feels buried beneath the aggressive citrus-floral musk structure. I kept waiting for the tea to soften the fragrance or add depth, but the sharpness of the jasmine and ambrette prevented the composition from ever settling into something calming or wearable. What makes this especially disappointing is that the concept itself sounds gorgeous on paper: mandarin, bergamot, jasmine sambac, black tea, and ambrette could have created a luminous tea fragrance with warmth and softness. Instead, the fragrance feels harsh, sharp, and sensory-overloading. On my skin, the fragrance became strong enough to irritate my senses slightly and even started giving me the beginnings of a headache. Anyone sensitive to sharp musks, piercing white florals, or heavily diffusive aromatic structures may struggle with this fragrance. The tea note feels almost nonexistent beneath the sharper materials, making the overall experience feel unbalanced and difficult to enjoy.
