چرم و مشک CUIR OTTOMAN ؛یک عطر گرم و مردانه ی خوش ساخت از این خانه ی عطر دوست داشتنی هست.این عطر پوشیدنش برای یه خانوم کار سختیه.چون همونطور که از اسمش پیداست اولا یک عطر چرمی هست و ثانیا عطر اون نوع از چرم هست که توسط یک امپراطوری خشن استفاده میشده که خشونت و سرسختی و نفوذ ناپذیری عثمانیان رو در خودش داره! از اولین اسپری؛آکورد با کیفیت چرم که بسیار طبیعی؛تلخ؛دودی و سنگین هست به همراه مشکی که آمیخته با زنبقه و حس پودری داره به مشام میرسه و یه ته بوی انیمالیک و کثیف هم حس میشه که 10 تا 15 دقیقه بعد محو میشه و اثری ازش نیست.ضمنا کمی بعد از آغاز سنگین عطر یه رایحه ی نسبتا شیرین و تا حدودی کرمی حس میشه که هیچ قدرتی برای عرض اندام نداره ولی بهرحال فضا رو تلطیف و جذاب میکنه و بعد از مدتی پر میکشه و میره!بعد از محو شدن اون رایحه ی ضعیف خوراکی مانند وارد مرحله ی میانی میشیم. در این مرحله چرم قدرت بیشتری می گیره و حس و حال پوشیدن یک کت چرم و بسیار باکیفیت که تازه واکس کاری شده و خورشید یک ظهر زمستانی بر اون می تابه رو تداعی میکنه که البته تو اون محیط آتشی روشنه و بوی سوختن چوبهای نم زده که صمغ توشون هنوز باقی هست و سوخته میشن و دودشون به سمتتون میاد رو هم حس می کنید!از طرفی همچنان رایحه ی مشک آغشته به زنبق کاملا به مشام میرسه که فضا رو پودری و جالب کرده.هم چنین در این مرحله من یه بوی تند ادویه ای حس میکنم که تو اکثر کارای این برند این بوی تند کم و بیش حس میشه.یه بوی فلفلی-زیره ای هست. قلب این کار بسیار عالیه شیک؛سنگین و باوقار یه اعتماد به نفس فوق العاده به آدم القا میکنه و از طرفی اطرافیان شما هم از این رایحه ی قدرتمند و اعتماد بخش لذت می برن.یک مرد متین که تکیه گاهی نفوذ ناپذیره! فضای کلی از میانه ی کار تا انتها به این شکله: بویی چرمی و تلخ که دودی و کمی تند هست و مشک زنبقی که با کمک گرفتن از شیرینی بسیار ضعیف گلها اونو پودری و ملیح کرده. این رایحه با گذشت زمان آرامتر و ملایمتر میشه و همچون امپراطوری عثمانی که پس از اون آغاز مقتدرانه و خشن و پرهیاهو با گذشت زمان به تاریخ پیوست؛این عطر هم به خاطره ها سپرده میشه و حس اقتدار؛شکوه و اشرافیت رو در ذهن شما و اطرافیانتون به یادگار میذاره! ماندگاری و پخش بسیار خوبی داره این عطر و مناسب هوای سرد زمستانه که با یک ست چرم؛عظمت و تاثیر گذاریش بسیار بیشتر خواهد بود... کامنت: م.ع (سایت لوکس بایر (با امکان تست سمپل

Leather, is that you? Knock-knock. Who’s there? Not leather. Not a single sliver or slice of tanned hides to be found behind this door. But that’s the point. Corticchiato has gone down the road several have been before to give us materials trying to trick us into smelling leather - and you know what, he does a much better job than most. Corticchiato wants to make sure we know it’s a ruse; this isn’t a joke at our expense, we’re in on it from the start. The opening notes are highly convincing, thanks to a bracing start of highly animalic styrax, and sparkling funky resins that give a medicinal/chemical tanning effect. It’s marvelous. Then in a cloud of powder that suddenly drops and wafts like flour spilled on a kitchen countertop, the floral heart trying to put a leather mask on. Chalky and starchy orris and an extremely parched indolic jasmine nestle with warm benzoin. The effect is beautiful and quite convincing of soft and supple suede, like the interior of a lady’s makeup-carrying leather handbag. Unlike, say, the massive powder bomb that is Dior’s Cuir Cannage, which repeated this formula many years later, this is a leathery floral that very comfortably rides the unisex line. Don’t be fooled by the marketing towards women, men can easily pull this off and I think it would be quite a bit more striking on a man than a woman. The powder is just enough. The florals are just enough. The animalics are just enough. The resins and warm woods are just enough. The bitter tonka and sensuous vanilla at the base are just enough. Corticchiato has this composition expertly balanced to a pin’s tip precision. Hardly unique or novel, and nothing surprises or makes you think much, but, again, not the point. You buy this because leathery orris is classic, a winning recipe that should be a genre all of its own, and because you know, appreciate and love Corticchiato’s virtuoso compositional abilities. A tried and true presentation in the hands of a master. Of course it’s great.

I don't like the opening of Cuir Ottoman at all. I pick up jasmine,a strong iris, and leather that is so powdered that my nose doesn't process it as leather. It's entirely grandma-ish (it smells like the bottom of a grandma's handbag) and I just don't like anything about it. Thankfully, it's short lived and an unpleasant opening is almost entirely forgivable if the drydown is great... and thankfully, the dry down is great. The leather warms up and begins to dominate while the florals recede and are replaced with a subtly dark underbelly of smoky spiciness. Theres also something vaguely herbal to my nose that gives it an atmospheric sort of vibe, like the scent of a place. The leather note here is very unique, as some have mentioned it bears a resemblance to the leather present in Dzing, the sort of soft, high quality, dry, beige-toned leather compared to the astringent permanent marker-esque, pitch-black power leather in Tuscan Leather and ADP Colonia Leather. It's nice and kind of pulls a 180 after that retirement home opening, going surprisingly modern. It puts me in a similar headspace as Tauer's L'air Du Desert Marocain. Images of the desert at night, scarcely populated by traveling merchants and the occasional caravan of camels. But whereas the Tauer is a little bit playful and endearingly cartoonish with it's interpretation, Cuir Ottoman is more severe and serious. I really like this but I don't really feel the desire to get a full bottle. It's pretty well done but I don't think I can see myself wearing it often. Regardless, this is the best fragrance I have tried from Parfum D'empire after the nightmare of Wazamba and the mothballiness of Musc Tonkin . 7.5/10

The more I wear this, the more I love it. Of the many I have tried, this is the perfect leather based perfume. It is not for the faint hearted but it is definitely wearable. I think it's awesome. It falls in the middle of the range of leather fragrances. It is not at the smokey birch tar/ cade oil end, nor is it at the soft floral subtle suede end. The leather note created is similar to a fine pair of leather gloves The leather is softened by the floral from the prominent iris note, but it is not sickly sweet and I find it impossible to disentangle all the notes that form the accords. Somehow they just work together to make something truly wonderful. To me it seems elegant, refined and classy, and probably best in autumn and winter. It creates a great scent 'bubble' and has an airy quality but also with some 'edge'. Despite being floral it is probably just on the masculine side of unisex. Of the Parfum d'Empire fragrances I have tried, and they are all good, this is the star of the show. It is quite potent and has excellent longevity and significant projection and sillage even with just 2 sprays and it changes subtly over many hours but still retains its main accord. If you like leather based fragrances then definitely give it a try Update :- What makes this different from many of the floral leathers, is that here the floral and the leather are really well balanced. In many the floral notes are very much in the foreground and the leather plays a supportive role in the base perhaps appearing more in the late drydown...here they are more balanced from the start with the leather also playing front stage.
