Arabesque Blend

I had an unforgettable experience with Arabesque Blend. Before buying the spray, I rubbed the oil available in the store on my skin and then sprayed 4 sprays on my neck. Let me warn you from the beginning, DO NOT mess with this perfume in the summer! I could easily distinguish the notes of amber and vanilla. Then, when I smelled the scent of tonka and labdanum, I was in for a real treat. This fragrance offers a safe, non-gritty and smooth experience. That's it, I said. I think I may have come to the end of a journey that has almost completely closed the door on Amber. And I don't think I can do better. Arabesque Blend is ideal for me as a rich amber. This scent feels like dripping into the amber. However, it may not have that special feel for you, in which case a stronger or weaker option could be considered. A lighter amber would perhaps be appropriate. For this reason, it is not a perfume for blind buying.

It's a very easy transition. There's nothing interesting about it, just a chemical aftertaste. I tried it in the store and I couldn't take much more of it. I have tried many perfumes from this brand and there are many that I love that I have bought and been satisfied with BUT I thought I loved ambers until I smelled this perfume. Ten minutes after smelling it my frontal lobe was numb and throbbing from the relentless onslaught of synthetic woody and amber notes. I had to tilt my nose away from my arm to prevent an incipient headache. I'm actually going to go and scrub it after writing this review. If you know that you are even slightly sensitive to some synthetic woods/amber, please think twice before blindly buying. There are hundreds of examples of similar ambers without negative side effects. To summarize, This scent is quite blunt, no depth, no nuance. Just vanilla and amber. It smells like dark vanilla cake.
