1902 Pamplemousse

To my nose this is not unisex, but feminine. I had read so many bad reviews (cat pee comments), so trying a sample was a pleasant surprise. The word for him is GENTLE. You know those days when you don't feel like wearing perfume, but would still like to smell pleasant and clean? THIS! To me it smells like clean, warm skin. I don't get too much grapefruit or citruses, it's barely there. It's slightly sweet. The image that comes to mind is a young, new mother breastfeeding her baby, caressing his hair with her fingertips, looking at him adoringly, and smelling like this. It smells like motherly love. For those who like attention, steer away; same for those who expect longevity. This one is really soft and gentle, barely there.

A very light cologne that smells classic , pleasant . It is unisex , but somewhat going more towards feminine. The grapefruit is lovely but it doesn't last long. The rest of it it's something like Jour de Hermes and Nimfeo Mio combined and diluted. Silage is minimal, and so it the lasting power. But it isn't very expensive either. A lovely and refreshing summer scent, simple, classic , Absolutely no cat pee here no despite the grapefruit. Well done ! This is my first experience with this house and I like it!

The notes of this are supposed to be lemon, grapefruit, honeyed mandarin and orange peel. Based on the notes, I thought it was going to be similar to L’Occitane’s Citrus Verveine. However I don’t think it’s similar to that one, or particularly grapefruit/ citrusy. I have a hard time picking out individual notes, but it’s more “fruity” than citrusy. Cologne strength so it’s light and unobtrusive.

Needs more presence otherwise smells like any other citrus scent. Then it blossoms into that cheap cologne smell which am not liking.
