I am so delighted with this fragrance. If you like the fresh, sort of salty, lightly floral beachy note that you get from scents like Martin Margiela's Beachwalk, then I think you will like this too. It is a bit more aquatic and a little less suntan lotion like than Beachwalk. It smells smooth, clean, and wonderfully summery. It's one of those scents where everything is very well-blended, and I don't smell the individual notes all that particularly (aside from the watery elements). I don't smell the algae top notes at all. I was a bit worried when I ordered this blind that it would be another underwhelming aquatic, and would be too sharp. That's not the case. It's not sharp at all, and it's even better than expected.

It perfectly captures the scent of skin after a swim, when you lie in the sun and let the sea water dry on you. It’s a minimalist and intimate fragrance. To me, it’s of excellent quality, and I love it precisely for its simplicity—it always brings me back to moments of vacation and relaxation. It stays close to the skin, but lasts quite well: I’d say at least 5 to 6 hours.

Delicious salty fresh floral summer scent. Soft and subtle. Reminiscent of Profumum Roma - Acqua di Sale. Very good, salty aquatic fragrance. 90

Very mineralic aquatic, like your skin after a dip in the ocean water. Lowkey white florals add a little airiness to the blend. For me it stays kind of close to the skin. I don't want to comment on longevity because I feel it's the kind of fragrance I turn anosmic too pretty quickly into wear while others still smell it on me. I do understand the comparison to Eau de Merveilles Bleue. It has the same clean cold aquatic vibe. Either way, this is a lovely natural-smelling quality summer fragrance without any added synthetic sweetness. Kind of a shame to learn it has apparently been discontinued. I've been sitting on a sample for a few years but never pulled the trigger on it because I don't reach for aquatic fragrances all that often. It's a like from me. If you like the natural aquatic vibe and stumble over a bottle somewhere, you might want to give it a shot.

Surprised people haven't mentioned resemblance to Bvlgari Aqvamarine or even Heeley Sel Marin. To me, this is a more rounded, less sharper version of both with very decent longetivity! Great pick for hot summer days!

Nice summer day scent! Reminds me a lot of Light Blue Intense but richer. As if it was a natural take on it, with more depth and rounded edges. Longevity and sillage are quite decent too.

Opens with a soft citrus/floral note. Nothing sharp. Very pleasant and fresh. Then it settles down to a bit darker tone, but not the heavy dark, more like fresh marine dark. Not extremely masculine or heavy. Overall, a very fresh marine and a little bit dark at the end.

For aquatic lovers. I can smell sea notes and algae. I am in a boat... In holidays, ocean vibe. Too masculine for me. The sillage and longevity are moderate. This fragrance has the style of Sailing Day Maison Martin Margiela. 5/10 not my style.

I don't have the words to describe how much I hate this one. This is so synthetic! It's like if a toothpaste was designed just to give you a migraine. I don't even know where the toothpaste scent comes from because to me it smells like salty mint and a hint of ginger, none of which is present in the notes. I spritzed it just once on my wrist, and I've tried to wash it off so many times but it just won't budge! If you like your perfumes to last, then this is the one for you, and while I like them that way as well, not when something this bad is on me!

I finally tested a full sample. The smell is very very good and pleasant. It’s absolutely blue, i feel like being at the pool on a summer afternoon. It’s more of a swimming pool smell than a marine smell. And yeah, the similarity with the Hermes one (see the “reminds me of” part) is very big. I’d say 70-80% and this makes me feel like i don’t wanna buy it. Longevity is poor. Overall, i really like it and it’s a beautiful summer posh smell, but i just don’t need it in my collection. I’d give it a 7 out of 10. Better if u grab it on discount.

Opens up as Armani Acqua Di Gio EDT then it turns more to musky/aldehydes smell. It is easily detectable smell 24 hours later even after a shower. Good price-wise layering fragrance, you can't go wrong here. Please note all fragrances from the collection Grand Cru from Berdoues have eau de parfum concentration of 20% and are made in FRANCE...it shows! Fragrance 6 Price 7 Longevity 7

Just sprayed some on my elbow from a tester at a retailer. I don't feel anything sharp, just a simple, soothing white floral, a bit sweet, with some mild salty vibe. I wouldn't compare it to Margiela Beach Walk, they have very little in common. Retail price for EDP 100ml seems to be USD100+, but I guess if you could get a tester for less than 50 bucks, that would be very nice..

Sea salty oceanic mineral blue. Easily in the vein of something Issey Miyake would do. The name is spot on, and it is similar to Hermes Eau des Merveilles Bleu Not similar to Acqua di Gio or Bergamotte 22 to my nose.
