Brume de Jasmin

Brume de Jasmin is possibly my favorite Jasmine fragrance so far. Upon first spritz I am fooled into thinking that this is a fruity floral due to the presence of the ample, mouth-wateringly juicy red Apple note. So natural as if I'd just bitten into one. It is really lovely. About 10 minutes later, a beautiful and true note of slightly fruity Jasmine comes through. But this isn't the indolic type of Jasmine that even I, a Jasmine lover, sometimes cannot stand. It is soft, delicate, and accented by Magnolia and a slightly watery note that I realize now that is Lotus. About half an hour into the dry down, the delicate Jasmine turned Ambery and became warmer. The base notes on my skin were the still the beautiful tender Jasmine, lighty supported by Amber. At this point, the Apple note has completely vanished from my skin. My impression is that even though there are more notes than just Jasmine, I think this would be a safe blind buy for those who are looking for a non-indolic Jasmine soliflore. Projection: Stays close to my skin. Longevity: About 5 hours on my perfume surfeiting skin.

The jazmine is so decadent. This is such an elegant fragrance, very relaxing too. Projection is good but only for a few moments then it evaporates. Longevity is non existent. So bad for such a lovely fragrance.

Berdoues BRUME DE JASMIN is not a jasmine soliflore, as one might reasonably presume, given the name. No, this is a fruity-floral perfume with a huge apple presence. In fact, if I were to name this perfume, I'd call it BRUME DE POMME! The apple note is red delicious, and opens bright and vibrantly, like the taste of a cold, crisp apple as one bites through the red peel. The jasmine, magnolia, and lotus really serve to garnish the apple, it seems to my nose, and the apple grows even stronger in the drydown. I will say that the jasmine is more detectable than either the magnolia or the lotus, but apple is definitely the star of the show. What's nice about this fruity-floral perfume is that it is not too sweet, but the fruit is truly dominant, so I would not recommend this particular fragrance to those looking for a jasmine perfume. I do, however, recommend it to apple aficionados! This eau de toilette seems more watery and less resinous than either Nelly APPLE BOTTOMS or Arrogance Mix MELA E MUSCHIO.
