When I was I child I could still remember one of my grandmothers who would chew and smoke tobacco leaves. She would cut and roll large tobacco leaves and this fragrance is so close to those dried sweet tobacco I love this as a skin scent, something intriguing yet familiar to my nose. Warm, deep and a bit smokey. This is worth a try and a great addition to my winter collection.

I tend to like frags with tobacco notes and this one seemed like a pretty safe bet given it's relatively simple composition. The tobacco note within this is fairly strong and quite long lasting on my skin. As some others have noted, there does seem to be a vanilla note here and I think it must be coming through with the tobacco. This note is a solid core that remains throughout the entire duration The vetiver is quite subtle on my skin. It's there, worming it's way through the allspice and tobacco and definitely adds some volume to the fragrance. It's not that easy to pick out. The Allspice is stronger during the opening and gradually fades. One thing I will say is that I found this frag to be quite sweet in scent and in the warm humid weather we've been having it became rather cloying so I feel it is definitely better utilized in cooler weather.

On paper, this is incredibly clean and floral. On fabric, (I blessed a pure cotton scarf,) it's green and "office papery." Upon skin contact, it reminds me of fancy herbal nonpareils with a hint of spearmint. That evolves very rapidly to a pronounced pipe tobacco, with a wisp of soft vetiver. It's similar to Tobacco Toscano, without the amazing sillage and longevity of that one. When it's dry, it's warm, slightly powdery and nutty. A lovely, clean and soft fragrance at the bottom of it all, but subtle and without big drama. You may be happy scenting your drawers and mash notes with this, as it's quick to fade on skin.

This opens by clubbing me over the head with an almost powdery allspice, transitioning into vetiver. I agree with Q80 that there is a vanillic aspect, although I doubt if there is any vanilla as an ingredient. Bizarrely, I haven't detected any tobacco at all in my first couple of tests. Or any smokiness. But will update after more testing. Worth noting is the similarity of this to Vetiverissimo by Bruno Fazzolari, which also features allspice and plenty of vetiver. I would say, however, that Bruno's fragrance is much smoother, more natural-smelling, more nuanced, and more sophisticated.

A sweet tobacco (pipe tobacco) with a hint of chilli pepper/spices, a dry vanilla without sugar and a fresh attitude (vetiver maybe, because vetiver is more a supply for the fresh feeling than a note). It has a feminine touch but stays unisex. It could be the child of Santa Maria Novella Tabacco Toscano and Phaedon Tabac Rouge. Perfect for autumn. Sillage is average, not strong, longevity is fair. One of the nicest creation of the Grand Cru collection from Berdoues. Scent : 8/10 Projection : 6/10 Longevity : 6.5/10

This is a soft and sweet tobacco fragrance. Great for beginners. It’s feminine and has a touch of freshness. It smells very natural and it’s very well blended. Great for fall and winter. This brand really has amazing perfumes. They really know how to make polarizing notes wearable.

They say it is tobacco scent. List dry non-sweet manly notes. What you get is generic vanilla dud. Sweet “tobacco” offered by so many houses these days. Pass and dislike for dishonest and misleading description. Of course as always, test before you buy although this on is hard to reach (so better not buy at all).

I love tobacco, love vetiver and love pepper. What I get from this perfume however is mostly sweet vanilla which I absolutely HATE. Shame. I hoped this would finally be a good tobacco perfume that smelled like spicy tobacco and cuban cigars without a sickeningly sweet background of vanilla, but alas.

I wanted to try this because of the sweet tobacco vanilla references that pair it in kind to Dolcelisir, which I adore and am running out of. I don't get that though. I get something that smells like ozone, which always reminds me of printer's ink (those who have worked in a bindery or with canned printer's ink, you know what I mean.) Plus vanilla. Almost immediately, it fades to a sweet milky vanilla that I like but has no resemblance to any of the listed notes, then it passes right on through to a super sheer, invisible sugar scent that literally smells like sugar and nothing else. In an hour, it's gone completely. VERY disappointing performance, and I don't demand longevity or sillage from my fragrances, preferring to wear them mostly for my own pleasure. This was sad though.

To me, this smells a lot like Bulgari black, but it is softer and doesn't have the longevity that I remember with that one. That said, this is a soft tobacco scent, that does have a vanillic quality to it, though it isn't listed in the notes. I really don't detect any vetiver. However, the allspice is very present, and teeters on being dominant. Although, as it dries down, the allspice definitely becomes less intense. I wouldn't say that it goes away entirely, but it definitely calms down. This is a calming, mellow scent. Somewhat spicy, a little bit sweet. I truly like it.

I love different takes on vanilla and this one is a quieter version of a tobacco vanilla. It smells like the inside of a humidor. Imagine its super hot outside,you walk in, your skin still a bit sticky from the warmth outside and you walk into the humidor, temperature difference and all. Cool, cooler, delicious. Very unisex and very beautiful. Somewhat linear but to me this vanilla combo is a little demure gem. Lasting power is OK, don't mind respraying though. 4 -6 hours or thereabouts.

This fragrance smells of rum and a bit of tobacco to me. Rum isn’t listed as a note so it could be my imagination. I didn’t get the Vetiver whatsoever. I don’t like Vetiver, so if it’s there, it must not be very much of it. I do get a vanilla scent, yet not so much a spice scent. Maybe the vanilla mixed with spices reminds me of a rum scent? For me, it mixes well with Masai Mara. I also tried it with oud wa vanilla. That Ended up smelling like a cigar.

Sweet tobacco. This begins harsh and settles sweet tobacco. It has vanilla covering mild tobacco with balsamic effect. I don't recall any vetiver as much as it's quite impressively sweet tobacco. It's balmy tobacco sweet blend and i believe it has big time licorice.

Simple, sweet alcoholic beverage! Cognac near fireplace with big slice of chocolate cake! Not too catchy, not too sticky, last 3-4 hours max, don’t make you tired of it fast

Sweet balsamic tobacco, slightly fruity, slightly spicy, this is truly unisex, putting me in the mind of Tokyo Milk's Tainted Love, despite not sharing a single note.
