Vanille & Safran

I have a bias for anything with saffron in. This is a new combo, being new yo thr frag world I haven't yet smelled a vanilla saffron scent so this was unique to my nose. Instant love. It's not ultimate potency and longevity so far, bit I don't mind. It's a gorgeous, happy scent. That's all I need to know. Now I'm curious of there are other scents in this realm that have another note added in, its a never ending love affair this perfume business

Very pretty warm biscuity vanilla, slightly sweet, reasonable sillage but not for very long. This has become one of my all time faves, and the 100ml bottle is already half empty!

I love a vanilla forward perfume without a doubt, and I do love saffron too. So when I saw this i immediately blind bought it because I thought that combination would be awesome. 100 ml for around 20 euros! At first sniff I was mesmerized by the vanilla. It was very strong, but then I hoped that the saffron whould shine through. Unfortunately it didn’t. I can’t detect any saffron at all. Just a powerful, musky vanilla. Which again isn’t a bad thing in my opinion. But if I wanted a straight up vanilla perfume I would go and buy Alyssa Ashley’s Vanilla, because this more or less smells exactly like that one. For an edt it lasts very long on the skin which is a big plus. Although Berdoues, I truly admire your perfumes, but where is the saffron here? Either way it’s very cosy and warm. And for the price it’s definitely a good one!

It’s musky very sweet basic vanilla with a woody tone on the background (probably saffron gives that) Bought it based on reviews but unfortunately that’s not how I perceive vanilla icecream smell, this one is not lactonic it’s just sweet reminding me liquid vanilla essence for cooking. Reminds me Mercadona’s Monogotas Vanilla and also gives me Montale Vanilla cake and vanilla absolu vibes ( Montale being of a better quality though) I’m going to return this one unfortunately because of that ultra sweet note which destracts me.

Cozy, fluffy blanket of vanilla and musk, with extra fuzziness from the saffron. This is a happy one, and perfect for snuggly autumn days. I love this at bedtime. It does layer well with so many things, but is buildable with spray-dry-spray application. She’s sweet, but not gourmand, and a very safe blind buy if you love the notes. Incredibly versatile and I am seriously impressed.
