Body Fantasies Cucumber Melon Fantasy

Update: It sadly appears this has been discontinued to my surprise?! Very rarely do I see a standard body mist disappear off the shelf, especially one that was a top seller. I have searched a bit in local stores where I used to buy it and it looks as though they have come out with a few new scents (the majority I have now tested and fall into the sickly sweet, synthetic, trying too hard category), nothing special and definitely not a single one that compares to this fresh, lovely and true cucumber attention/compliment grabbing scent. I'm still looking to see/confirm if is has in fact been discontinued but a real shame if so. :( Edit: I have unfortunately confirmed this has been discontinued which I find very unfortunate. I have 3/4 of a large bottle remaining and until I find another comparable cucumber scent, I will be very careful on how much I used to spritz this liberally on both myself and around my house. I would also love to hear of any others that may compare to this, with it being so fresh, surprisingly non-synthetic, excellent to layer and very affordable too.

Beautiful Fresh Fruity mist, very suitable fragrance for hot days in summer, you will feeling how it reduce the temperature impact arounding.I think this fragrance suitable for sensitive nose people. I smell melon mixed with Cucumber and pineapple (not written in ingredients). This is a "true" Cucumber fresh and clean scent, not in the least bit synthetic nor sweet. I grab something like this fragrance when I'm running out the door to go shopping or just to the store. Funny for the price comparison to many others I own; I receive a lot of compliments when wearing this mist. It is a fragrance I will always, always have in my collection. ☺

I used to compare this to oldschool B&BW Cucumber Melon (which has since been reformulated badly, and is more of a sugary bomb and less cucumbery, ozonic and balanced like it used to be). Nothing will be vintage B&BW CM again, but that doesn't mean there aren't enjoyable frags in a similar style. This melted my heart today. I went through the grocery store and smelled some body spray caps, and this quite literally stopped me in my tracks. It was like a time warp into the 90s. It's a little sweeter, more femme, and delicate than B&BW's Cucumber Melon, but it's beautiful! More beautiful, more nostalgic, and prettier than I remember. It has a light lotus floral tone. It's a cool, watery floral...and again, wonderfully 90s-2000s. I picked up a tiny travel spray, and I'm happy about it now. 🥒 🍈 🪷

First scent I ever got! takes me back way back when to grade school when I thought this spray from walgreens was the most grown up thing i've ever used... This scent smells exactly how it is titled: melon and cucumbers. Very inoffensive, cheap, and great as a starter. It smells a little synthetic and of course smells inexpensive as well, but hey! it's super casual and super summery! Great for wearing when you feel like wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops or something, and not up to actually putting on makeup and dressing up. Staying power is not great, but hey, what do you expect from a cheap, drugstore body spray?

Honestly top 3 body fantasies mists, the melon outweighs the cucumber and it smells very clean and refreshing. If you wanna smell like 'frutiger aero' buy this, it suits the aesthetic very well imo.

This one smells and feels fresh. Its hard to explain it too but the scent feels clean, I really love it after a shower in a hot summer day.

This is a lovely perfume. It smells fresh, clean and sweet. It's not too heavy. It's great, and cheap!

Ordinarily I loathe Bath & Body Works type fruity melony smells. I go in there always hoping for something decent that is not full of muskm fake berry, or overpoweringly sweet. Might as well wear a Glade air freshener... Imagine my surprise to find this B&BW knock-off in the travel toiletry section of the grocery store! Right there with the mini-deodorants, mini-toothpastes, hair gel, etc. to take on the airplane. There may be cucumber and melon notes in this, but it is overpowering sweet sweet sweet. I thought it was a bit strong. It reminds me of the tooth-achey sweet of Cabotine by Gres.... But you know, sometimes sweet and cheap is just what you want, over decadent and expensive and mysterious. If Cucumber Melon Fantasy was a person, it would be a young, cute, casual young lady with her hair in a topknot, a tight t-shirt and short-shorts, buying a soda at the 7-11, and she would hold the door open for you, and give you a dazzling smile. Makes you feel good for most of the day.

Earlier this summer I became weirdly obsessed with this body spray, after a coworker spritzed herself with it. It smelled so fabulous & uplifting that I made her show me the bottle. I’m not a big fan of Body Fantasies, esp now that they’re so diluted & “meh” (they’ve always been cheap, but they were nicer quality 20 years ago). The cotton candy one smells like cough syrup & the white musk is like hand soap on steroids. However, this particular scent is SO SO GOOD. It *perfectly* captures the scent of sweet juicy cantaloupe & cool cucumber! Smells amazingly natural. Fruity but fresh, not too sweet, perfect. Made for hugging people and having them sigh because you smell so nice. If you loved the old Bath & Body Works cucumber melon before they tweaked the crap out of it, well, here’s your nostalgia ticket 😊 So of course, it’s out of stock everywhere but I finally tracked one down @ local Walmart for $6. Maybe the cheapest & best thrill I’ll have this year!

This is back, in the small 3.2 ounce rectangular shaped bottle. However, it says “limited edition”, so I don’t know how long they will keep it around. This smells like 1990s Bath & Body Works Cucumber Melon, which was a honeydew melon with a hint of cucumber type of a scent. Bath & Body Works has gone through changes, and they have tweaked their scents with added floral notes and “blonde woods”, and all of this extra stuff that makes them unwearable to me now. I liked when their scents were plain and linear, and smelled the same from start to finish. This smells like the original 1990s Bath & Body Works Cucumber Melon without any extra side notes. Time travel in a bottle, it brings me right back to the late 90s.

I still own a very old bottle of this; cucumber melon fantasy is very true to its name, and sweet. If I'm being completely honest the melon notes tends on being plastic-like and synthetically sweet, but taking this body splash too seriously is a mistake. It gives off fresh, happy, nostalgic girl-next-door vibes, and taken for what it is, it is nice.

Over the years bath & body works has disappointed me more times than I can count by discontinuing my favorite fragrances.Their cucumber melon was my favorite and this body fantasy smells nearly identical.It reminds me of a jolly rancher candy.I love it because it's fresh,sweet,clean and gets lots of compliments!

Dead on cucumber melon scent. Very fresh, melony, and clean. They sell this at the drugstore, it is a cheap casual body spray lasting at least 4 hours on my bare skin. Wore it years ago.

fresh and melon-forward. smells like a lip balm i had in 2012. superrrr alcoholic when i first put it on but it’s super mellow when it’s on. very fresh on laundered skin/clothing
