Body Fantasies Signature Twilight Mist

I LOVE this type of scent. Deep, strong, dark, romantic, sensual, mysterious. Powdery floral with vanilla, sandalwood, and musk, with a slight hint of coconut. Citrus note is even slighter, almost unnoticeable. This scent is NOT soapy at all. It does last a long time. I can smell it on myself all day, I can smell it on my clothes for many days. I spray it in my hair sometimes, it lasts a while. This one is a FAVORITE of mine <3 especially because it's so lovely at a super affordable cost. This site doesn't have 'Pink Vanilla Kisses' listed. It's available at Wal-Mart still to my knowledge. It must be a new add to the collection I supposed. I liked that one a lot. I thought I still had it, I recently looked around for it briefly since I started reviewing on here but couldn't locate it. I figured I'd lost it, or used it all up and didn't remember, or something weird.., and then ahhh yes I remembered, I gave it away, but not really for a 'normal' reason I guess? I had to give it away BECAUSE...I woke up (my own bed, solo) one morning, and I could smell a drink..like alcohol drink.. but i had not been drinking the night prior..as far as I could remember anyways.. lol I questioned myself for a mili-second that morning scared for myself wondering ;"Did I get super shit-tastic trashed last night and not remember drinking?!!?" lol but I'd never blacked out THAT bad before to not even remember having any drinks (I don't even know if that's possible. hope not.) so I knew I didn't do any drinking haha.. So I didn't do any drinking, but if I had then I wouldn't've been confused about the smell I was smelling.. I didn't know what the scent was but knew I recognized it and knew it had something to do with alcohol.. ALLL day I kept smelling that smell.. It was not a gross smell but it bothered me SO much because I knew I recognized the smell but I just didn't know where it was coming from! very frustrating. Finally! After a whole day of confusion I realized the smell I was smelling that kept reminding me of drinking was the Body Fantasies Pink Vanilla Kisses - it smells like RUM! Vanilla spiced rum, like captain morgan or some shit. lol. I hadn't sprayed the fragrance for manny manny hours but upon waking up smelling it was my first sensation. It was a light smell, very much like sweet vanilla frosting, there's probably a floral note as well. Not musky. I liked it but after my experience of trying to figure out where the alcohol beverage smell was coming from alll dayy loonng I just could not stop smelling rum every time afterwards from then on. Every time I sprayed it i was reminded about rum, rum, rum.... I was walking around smelling rum as if someone was holding a shot of it under my nose all day. Due to that I had to give it away because I do not want or need any subliminal mental messages telling me to drink drink drink. Eventually I would have gotten an actual craving to have some rum but drinking is the opposite direction I want to go with my life, so I had to give away Pink Vanilla Kisses. Gave it to my mom. She likes it a lot and does not think it smells like rum. BE WARE of your bad habits ladies and gents... avoid your triggers :) and don't forget to thank God for everything.

This is one of my favorite fragrances of all time (maybe even my signature) and I always have a bottle on hand. Lasts a decent few hours on clothes, unfortunately doesn't last terribly long on skin, maybe a couple hours, and the throw is more intimate, unless I spray a f*** ton. I've noticed that with this and other Body Fantasies sprays, if I spray this on my skin in the morning and take a warm shower in the evening, the scent will wake up and waft with the steam. Maybe these sprays perform better in a warmer or more humid climate. Starts off with a very strong artificial plum note that reads more like grape Kool-Aid, but not in a bad way... almost like a fun childish way. As the other notes come out the plum/grape takes a back seat but is always present to some extent, and I feel like this purple fruity note plays well with the rest of the composition. For the florals I smell violet the most strongly, but there are other florals as well, I just can't distinguish between them. The dry-down features a woody-vanilla-musk combo, with something a little extra, reminds me a little of warm incense - probably the tonka bean. So the mid and base notes combine to give off a very powdery, cozy effect. The powdery violet almost reminds me of old school lipstick. Overall this fragrance can best be described as giving the wearer a cuddly, inviting purple aura, like they're wearing a super soft lilac colored sweater while lounging on the couch. I haven't tried Dior's Poison or Cacharel's LouLou, but based on the notes in those fragrances I can see Poison and LouLou being the "big sister" and Twilight Mist the "little sister." One would wear Poison on a flirty and mysterious night out, while Twilight Mist would be better suited for cuddling on the couch with bae watching spooky movies. CANDY FLORALS & SANDALWOOD. Opens with a fruity burst or plum & coconut with powdery, clean, citrus, fruity & candy touches, that deepens into the floral heart with creamy, powdery, watery, fruity, violet, clean & spicy nuances, all resting on a musky vanilla-woods & tonka base. Above average performance for a body spray. Contrast to Twilight Woods Bath & Body Works: These are different, but there are similarities and TM is likely inspired by TW. TW outperforms. Contrast to White for Her Kenneth Cole: These are different, but there is a similar vibe with powdery, creamy sandalwood & violet. TW has a more forward candy note. WfH-KC outperforms. Contrast to Crystal Noir EDT Versace: These are different, however there are similarities with powdery, creamy sandalwood & violet. CN-EDT is heavier and together with gardenia has a more forward creamy touch, while Twilight Woods has a candy-like note and tonka in the base, both of which are not present in CN-EDT. CN-EDT outperforms. Contrast to Ravish ii Ajmal: These are different, but there are some similarities. TM has a candy-like note that isn't present in Ravish ii, and has average or slightly above average performance for a body spray, while Ravish ii has a more forward jasmine with average performance with dark storage after first sprays. Contrast to Pink Sugar Aquolina: These are different, but there are similarities, especially in the drydowns with candy over woody base. PS has a more forward gourmand vanilla and beast mode performance. Overall: Beautiful candy-florals & sandalwood scent profile, with above average performance for a body spray. Enjoy!

I'm in love with this fragrance mist, it has the right amount of everything I love. I was a little bit scared because I blind bought it at Wallmart for 7$ without knowing the notes and the name being inexplicit, I was just hoping with the purple bottle that it has purple flowers in it (violet, iris...) and that it was not smelling too sugary cheap and wow! I love it and got plenty of compliments. I'm new to fragrance mists in general, so for someone who mostly only wear perfumes, the only downside is the performance. The projection starts average strong, a sweet powdery plum violet scent, but after 1-2 hours it's closer to skin and around 4 hours the scent is barely there. But I don't regret it, it smells really good and I'm in heaven when I wear it. I can see myself wearing this after a shower or on a day I want something soft and don't mind reapplying it from time to time, I mean for that price I don't feel I have to use it sparingly. I have take a look on the others Body Fantasies mists on this site and I'm glad I have pick this one, it was a perfect pick, I recommend it if you love fragrance mist and purple scents.

I owned the body mist and I was at walgreens looking for something like a set and I saw a full body wash lotion and body mist all full size version fo like 12.99 or something like that. so I bought it because need just body wash so....the added lotion and body mist was just an added bonus for me. I barely even use the lotion or body mist just the body wash its almost gone it smells very nice and its nice to use at night because something about it reminds me of a smell u would smell a night...like a walk through the woods or something. as for how it smells to me...it smells like vanilla....mixed with plum and flowers....a very pretty scent. Very feminine but not too sweet or too floral. the thing about it that I really like is that it smells clean and fresh and the body wash layers well with other perfumes in in my collection. I was able to get a nice use out of it ..it lasted a good while.. overall im very happy with my purchase of Twilight mist its smells like twiglight woods by bath and body works a little. maybe a cheaper dupe?
