Body Fantasies Signature Twilight Mist

I LOVE this type of scent. Deep, strong, dark, romantic, sensual, mysterious. Powdery floral with vanilla, sandalwood, and musk, with a slight hint of coconut. Citrus note is even slighter, almost unnoticeable. This scent is NOT soapy at all. It does last a long time. I can smell it on myself all day, I can smell it on my clothes for many days. I spray it in my hair sometimes, it lasts a while. This one is a FAVORITE of mine <3 especially because it's so lovely at a super affordable cost. This site doesn't have 'Pink Vanilla Kisses' listed. It's available at Wal-Mart still to my knowledge. It must be a new add to the collection I supposed. I liked that one a lot. I thought I still had it, I recently looked around for it briefly since I started reviewing on here but couldn't locate it. I figured I'd lost it, or used it all up and didn't remember, or something weird.., and then ahhh yes I remembered, I gave it away, but not really for a 'normal' reason I guess? I had to give it away BECAUSE...I woke up (my own bed, solo) one morning, and I could smell a drink..like alcohol drink.. but i had not been drinking the night prior..as far as I could remember anyways.. lol I questioned myself for a mili-second that morning scared for myself wondering ;"Did I get super shit-tastic trashed last night and not remember drinking?!!?" lol but I'd never blacked out THAT bad before to not even remember having any drinks (I don't even know if that's possible. hope not.) so I knew I didn't do any drinking haha.. So I didn't do any drinking, but if I had then I wouldn't've been confused about the smell I was smelling.. I didn't know what the scent was but knew I recognized it and knew it had something to do with alcohol.. ALLL day I kept smelling that smell.. It was not a gross smell but it bothered me SO much because I knew I recognized the smell but I just didn't know where it was coming from! very frustrating. Finally! After a whole day of confusion I realized the smell I was smelling that kept reminding me of drinking was the Body Fantasies Pink Vanilla Kisses - it smells like RUM! Vanilla spiced rum, like captain morgan or some shit. lol. I hadn't sprayed the fragrance for manny manny hours but upon waking up smelling it was my first sensation. It was a light smell, very much like sweet vanilla frosting, there's probably a floral note as well. Not musky. I liked it but after my experience of trying to figure out where the alcohol beverage smell was coming from alll dayy loonng I just could not stop smelling rum every time afterwards from then on. Every time I sprayed it i was reminded about rum, rum, rum.... I was walking around smelling rum as if someone was holding a shot of it under my nose all day. Due to that I had to give it away because I do not want or need any subliminal mental messages telling me to drink drink drink. Eventually I would have gotten an actual craving to have some rum but drinking is the opposite direction I want to go with my life, so I had to give away Pink Vanilla Kisses. Gave it to my mom. She likes it a lot and does not think it smells like rum. BE WARE of your bad habits ladies and gents... avoid your triggers :) and don't forget to thank God for everything.

This is one of my favorite fragrances of all time (maybe even my signature) and I always have a bottle on hand. Lasts a decent few hours on clothes, unfortunately doesn't last terribly long on skin, maybe a couple hours, and the throw is more intimate, unless I spray a f*** ton. I've noticed that with this and other Body Fantasies sprays, if I spray this on my skin in the morning and take a warm shower in the evening, the scent will wake up and waft with the steam. Maybe these sprays perform better in a warmer or more humid climate. Starts off with a very strong artificial plum note that reads more like grape Kool-Aid, but not in a bad way... almost like a fun childish way. As the other notes come out the plum/grape takes a back seat but is always present to some extent, and I feel like this purple fruity note plays well with the rest of the composition. For the florals I smell violet the most strongly, but there are other florals as well, I just can't distinguish between them. The dry-down features a woody-vanilla-musk combo, with something a little extra, reminds me a little of warm incense - probably the tonka bean. So the mid and base notes combine to give off a very powdery, cozy effect. The powdery violet almost reminds me of old school lipstick. Overall this fragrance can best be described as giving the wearer a cuddly, inviting purple aura, like they're wearing a super soft lilac colored sweater while lounging on the couch. I haven't tried Dior's Poison or Cacharel's LouLou, but based on the notes in those fragrances I can see Poison and LouLou being the "big sister" and Twilight Mist the "little sister." One would wear Poison on a flirty and mysterious night out, while Twilight Mist would be better suited for cuddling on the couch with bae watching spooky movies. Above average performance for a body spray. Contrast to Twilight Woods Bath & Body Works: These are different, but there are similarities and TM is likely inspired by TW. TW outperforms. Contrast to White for Her Kenneth Cole: These are different, but there is a similar vibe with powdery, creamy sandalwood & violet. TW has a more forward candy note. WfH-KC outperforms. Contrast to Crystal Noir EDT Versace: These are different, however there are similarities with powdery, creamy sandalwood & violet. CN-EDT is heavier and together with gardenia has a more forward creamy touch, while Twilight Woods has a candy-like note and tonka in the base, both of which are not present in CN-EDT. CN-EDT outperforms. Contrast to Ravish ii Ajmal: These are different, but there are some similarities. TM has a candy-like note that isn't present in Ravish ii, and has average or slightly above average performance for a body spray, while Ravish ii has a more forward jasmine with average performance with dark storage after first sprays. Contrast to Pink Sugar Aquolina: These are different, but there are similarities, especially in the drydowns with candy over woody base. PS has a more forward gourmand vanilla and beast mode performance. Overall: Beautiful candy-florals & sandalwood scent profile, with above average performance for a body spray. Enjoy!

I'm in love with this fragrance mist, it has the right amount of everything I love. I was a little bit scared because I blind bought it at Wallmart for 7$ without knowing the notes and the name being inexplicit, I was just hoping with the purple bottle that it has purple flowers in it (violet, iris...) and that it was not smelling too sugary cheap and wow! I love it and got plenty of compliments. I'm new to fragrance mists in general, so for someone who mostly only wear perfumes, the only downside is the performance. The projection starts average strong, a sweet powdery plum violet scent, but after 1-2 hours it's closer to skin and around 4 hours the scent is barely there. But I don't regret it, it smells really good and I'm in heaven when I wear it. I can see myself wearing this after a shower or on a day I want something soft and don't mind reapplying it from time to time, I mean for that price I don't feel I have to use it sparingly. I have take a look on the others Body Fantasies mists on this site and I'm glad I have pick this one, it was a perfect pick, I recommend it if you love fragrance mist and purple scents.

I owned the body mist and I was at walgreens looking for something like a set and I saw a full body wash lotion and body mist all full size version fo like 12.99 or something like that. so I bought it because need just body wash so....the added lotion and body mist was just an added bonus for me. I barely even use the lotion or body mist just the body wash its almost gone it smells very nice and its nice to use at night because something about it reminds me of a smell u would smell a night...like a walk through the woods or something. as for how it smells to me...it smells like vanilla....mixed with plum and flowers....a very pretty scent. Very feminine but not too sweet or too floral. the thing about it that I really like is that it smells clean and fresh and the body wash layers well with other perfumes in in my collection. I was able to get a nice use out of it ..it lasted a good while.. overall im very happy with my purchase of Twilight mist its smells like twiglight woods by bath and body works a little. maybe a cheaper dupe?

These Body Fantasies sprays have been immensely impressing me so far! Snagged one 8oz for $3.75, so glad I did! They don't smell cheap, alcoholic, synthetic or sickly sweet...rather delightful & incredibly pleasing to the nose. I love the creamy vanilla, tonka & sandalwood base to this. The opening is this delicious, sweet plum with a hint of coconut. Out of the florals, I recognise the orchid most on my skin. I'm glad I trusted all the positive reviews here, it's exactly as how they described. Love wearing this cosy at home! Feminine, satiny, flirty & warm Next on my list is Vanilla & Sweet Sunrise! Edit: Realised why I like it! Reminds me of a gentler 'Reb'l Fleur'.

This smells accurate to the name & picture on the bottle. It definitely smells like dusk time with it's dark, powdery qualities. Love the purple flowers and the plum. Sweet but not candy sweet. The opening is all mandarin orange for me until it subsides softly within a few minutes. The cocunut and plum stick all through out the fragrance along with the violet, sandalwood, tonka and vanilla. Can't pick up the white flowers. The scent as a whole is very powdery and warm with those balsamic hints that go with the after sun hours. Lasting power is great for a body spray. Though this is not one of my favorites from Body Fantasies I still like it on occasion.

Initially this smells, to me, a great deal like BBW's Cashmere Glow. However, within about 15 minutes it changes and I get a soft plum/woods/vanilla/coconut blend, with a touch of musk and white flowers, and just a hint of citrus. The coconut is not super-sweet, it's more like unsweetened coconut flakes, very nice and interesting for a change. The sandalwood is more prominent in the drydown. This is not a terribly sweet scent, but it does have an underlying sweetness and also a certain warm sensuality. Sillage and longevity are on the high end of moderate, especially when the body spray is used with the body wash and body lotion. An excellent value!

This is my all time favourite body mist. I love the plum, violet and vanilla combo 💜 it has a grape smell at first ( not complaining, I love the smell of grapes ) - but then it dries down to a cozy, woody vanilla. It's like a magical purple potion. It reminds me of Jil Sander Style, but less spicy and more fruity. Unfortunately this is getting harder to find. I was only able to get this at my local chemist once, I went to purchase another bottle and of course they stopped selling it. It lasts for 5-6 hours on my clothes, it has great sillage for a body mist.

Plummy, Purple-y, Powdery, PRINCESS! <3 Honestly, there's a reason this is still being sold. :D Most of us will admit it's no masterpiece. What people may Not admit is that they -like me- own it, Love it, and may even prefer it to the B&B scent it so closely resembles. Packaging and brand presentation aside, Twilight Mist has a lot going for her. How often do you meet such a downright gorgeous girl with no airs? i love this scent! its great! i had it given to me for a gift and came in a package, with the body wash, lotion, and spray. It reminds me of two scent. One is Paris from the Paris Hilton passport series. It also reminds me of Moonlight path, from bath and body works a bit. I like to use this scent after a shower. i wear it out and when i meet with friends. great to use on winter nights, and summer days! I am actually wearing this right as i write this review. This is a fruity, sweet, and floral fragrance at first, then after a while I get the warmer vanilla notes. It's fairly non-offensive, and I almost always receive compliments when I wear it. With about 5 sprays the sillage is pleasant but not overwhelming. The longevity of this fragrance is not the best, but I don't mind reapplying throughout the day, and for the price you really can't beat it. The bottle color really matches the feel of this scent- a deep rich purple. A good find for us goths.

As a new member here, this is my very first review! I bought this scent a couple of years ago. It was at the beginning of my interest in various scents and experimentation of the different notes in them. This particular scent was very intoxicating and alluring to me. I had the sense of being enveloped in a mist of a secret garden of which only I had the key. It was really a state of mind. Very intriguing and enjoyable! I only wear it if I want someone to get very close to me (a man!).

This smells a lot more expensive than it is. It does smell extremely similar to B&BW Twilight Woods, which I also love. This is woody, fruity (plum, grape) night blooming florals, tonka, vanilla, and a bit of coconut. It has excellent sillage and lasts a long time for a mist. This also draws many compliments as well. Easy light weight plastic bottle to throw in my purse. Love it. Good for autumn and winter, however I wear it year round. I purchased mine at CVS store for cheap.

What in the world! I have found a little treasure in that I bought a few of these in the edt version (not sure if they do that anymore!) at Walmart for $3.00!!!!! Good grief I am so happy! If Bath and Bodyworks Twilight Woods is something you enjoy then this will make you so happy! This is a complete and utter perfect version. The Body Fantasies' company makes some really really high quality products! The EDTs are just as good or BETTER! than BBW!! Absolutely perfect!

Divine. Fluffy toasted vanilla, tonka bean and sweet night blooming flowers. Romantic and enchanted, almost a little lost and longing, wandering with a gaslight through deep woods and swampland, meeting ghosts. Like the cover of a classic mystery thriller, that's what this scent is. The name describes it well. It has more depth and complexity than I expected. Gorgeous all the way. Unfortunately, it's just a Body Mist and fades rather quickly. Love it though.

I remember my dad buying me this body spray from Walgreens. This was the best body spray that I've gotten so far, as well as the Body Fantasies Sweet Pea one. It has a nice powdery scent it's pretty strong for a body spray. Someone stole it out of my gym locker when I was a freshman in high school I was very disappointed, but I understood why they stole it from me because it smells really nice. I give it a thumbs up. :)

I absolutely adore this fragrance. It is similar to Twilight Woods (my long time signature scent), and also White, but Twilight Mist is sweeter and does smell unique to me, not a dupe at all. Very mystical, enchanting. But it just doesn't last long, and I can't find a Twilight Mist lotion that was made in this century to layer with. If anyone knows of an EDP that smells similar I'd love to know.

This smells really similar to Vera Wang’s Periwinkle and Iris Embrace. I get a lot of violet, plum, vanilla and tonka bean fluttering in the background to give the scent some warmth. This can be worn year round but it’s more appealing to me in colder months. A great everyday scent if you want something comforting.

For a 'body mist/body spray' this out=performs even some EDPs! Plus its only about £4 here in the UK! This one is a sweet oriental in my view and lasts really well on my skin and especially on clothes. I have personally never smelled Bath & Bodyworks Twilight woods but I imagine it would smell a bit like this!

Not a fan of overly coconut smells but the coconut in this is not overpowering at all. I quite like it. Lasts forever on clothes and brings to mind walking on a lonely country path littered with leaves at twilight....for some reason...I like it at night or daytime. I like it whenever. Great value for money.

Nearly identical to Twilight Woods. This is sweet, warm, woody, a bit smokey. The tonka bean is very strong here, followed by sandalwood. I love Twilight Woods so I love this too. I find it very calming and comforting. Very inexpensive so it makes sense for me to never run out of this.

I have been repurchasing this scent for about 2 decades now. I simply can't let it go. It is my favorite scent in the entire line and what awakened my love for the plum note even before I even got into fragrances. If they EVER discontinue this I will riot.

I think she's super cute for layering, she gives a super sweet grape smell with a touch of vanilla. she's perfect for after the shower with nothing-to-do nights, or nights in with your boyfriend ( or gf ;p ), she's good value for how cheap she is.

Twilight Mist is how I envisioned Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony smelled like. This scent is so nostalgic and brings me such peace I can't find with any with Coconut and Plum. This perfume is my aesthetic in a bottle.<3

Just bought this and I love it but the longevity isn't what it used to be with this company. They were always better quality than Bath and Body and Victoria's Secret but now it's about the same. Very sad.

So soft and gentle. The little sister to moonlight path by b&bw. I've loved this for YEARS. The formula definitely changed and became more gentle, but it's still phenomenal. Very whimsical.

Super soft purple smell. Smells like flowers & tonka bean & vanilla. Smells like you're cuddling with a fuzzy pastel purple blanket & your goth girlfriend. Very cozy smell.

Very Nice! Love the atomizer and the price point... A quite nice, fruity explosion that I wore around the house to do chores and entertain visitors.

Starts off as a very artificial candied fruit scent, which comes alarmingly close to smelling like grape soda. After maybe five or ten minutes, though, Twilight Mist mellows out into a warmer, slightly powdery tonka-and-woods scent with the fruit hanging around to sweeten things up, but smelling much less cloying as it does. After maybe half an hour, the fruit is gone almost entirely and you end up with a VERY powdery, slightly musky sandalwood. Though the fruit fades out, it's still quite sweet during this last phase, but not overwhelmingly so. It's sillage and wear time are comparable to those of most other body sprays; rather strong sillage when first sprayed that calms down within a couple minutes, and doesn't fade entirely until maybe five or six hours later. Though I haven't had a chance to do a side-by-side comparison, off memory, Twilight Mist is sweeter and much more powdery than B&BW's Twilight Woods, and though it has that warmth that makes Twilight Woods an ideal winter scent, I think it would be much easier to wear during the day or during warmer weather than Twilight Woods. It's definitely not an ideal dupe for Twilight Woods (at least not the EDT, which is the only Twilight Woods product I've owned), but it evokes the same mood. If you like Twilight Woods, you should definitely give Twilight Mist a try, and vice versa. They both fall into the warm, cuddly fruity-woodsy category, but are different enough that you could definitely have a strong preference for one over the other. Personally, I prefer Twilight Woods over Twilight Mist (god, could these names be anymore confusing? I'm literally going to have to check this over twice just to make sure I'm not talking about the wrong Twilight), mostly because I prefer my scents to be quite a bit less powdery, and because the Twilight Woods EDT just smells much more complex and sophisticated to me. It all really depends on which notes press the right buttons for you, though; I can definitely see how some people would prefer Twilight Mist over Twilight Woods. Comparisons aside, though, if you're looking for a sweet, cozy scent that isn't too cloying or too edible, and you'd like to save a few bucks by avoiding the mall, this is definitely one to check out.

I was very hesitant to blind buy this mist online for a good reason. I own Bodycology's Twilight Mist, which I purchased about a year ago. I was fairly certain (not just because of the name) that based on some of the notes, these two are similar. I was right. I can barely tell the difference between the two. BF's Twilight Mist is actually quite pleasant/decent. And as others have said, it smells like BBW's Twilight Woods, but is obviously cheaper. There's something powdery, creamy, warm, and sweet about this mist, but certainly not anywhere as sweet as other sugar bombs in the line. This mist is quite versatile-- I wear it year round, day or night. I prefer it for a night out mostly because I layer it with other EDPs that have similar notes. With Twilight on my body and the EDP on my pulse points, the result is a very clean, beautiful, warm scent that is inoffensive, provided you use a light hand. Like most mists, Twilight will go on strong if you spray too much, but it settles pretty quickly. This is the one mist I don't usually top up at some point during the day, especially if I spray a little on my top. It can hold its own. I found that it performs better when layered with the equally beautiful lotion. I got lots of compliments wearing the two as their clean scent carries. I'm glad I bought it, since I'll be done with my Bodycology soon, so at least I have a back up. Give it a try!

Now I'm sure that body fantasies are the best body sprays I've seen in my life,some of them.can compete with a much more expensive perfume..they're not linear and not cheap and some of them are even more longlasting than some well known perfumes out there Twilight is a very good name for this one,it has a kind of mysterious darkness that's not expectable from an affordable body spray It opens sweet and fruity with a touch of freshness,I can get plum and some coconut..as fruit notes start to fade and sweetness calms down,it's floral heart blooms,florals are well blended and very powdery..orchid is the most dominant to my nose,but there's also violet there and a touch of soft white florals,tuberose and magnolia(I can even feel some Jasmine there).drydown is warm,creamy and sensual,powdery plummy florals lay on a creamy base of musky vanilla/tonka..it's semi gourmand,semi dark and sophisticated,not a childish fruity vanilla,not at all I don't love it but to be honest,I'm impressed!longevity is more than moderate,sillage is moderate and this is really good for cold weather Still vanilla kiss and white musk are my faves but I like this one too If you're looking for a budget friendly dark,mature vanilla fragrance with a touch of fruits and powdery florals give it a try ❤❤❤

This is one of the best of their series that I have. It is so similar to BB&W's Twilight Woods, that I like to use the TM fragrance spray with the BB&W TW lotion. I have the shower gels, too. This opens with a strong plum accent about equally balanced with fresh, bright citrus of the mandarin orange. I detect only hints of coconut that seem to radiate softly in the sillage around me, maybe 1-2 feet, but the coconut is undetectable on my skin. Nice effect, I think. Entering the heart, the florals are more detectable, tuberose is soft & sweet, the violet lends it's depth briefly bringing that sombering & meditative tone. But it dissipates on me all too soon! The vanilla is the ruler in the base notes but it is not that sickeningly sweet vanilla in some blends. It is well balanced with the sandalwood & a tiny hint of musk. A nice one from this line. Lasts about 4 hours for me when layered completely. And for a few bucks, very pleasing!

beautiful body mist. it is much fresher than i expected. i expected something darker, more masculine and "mysterious". i primarily get those notes of coconut, mandarin orange, plum and tuberose. so it does come off as fresh due to those top citrus and middle floral notes. it's a "purple" fragrance--and does have a twilight aura to it, but it's more of a light plum and floral scent. if you're looking for a darker and more "mysterious" plum frag, try dark kiss by bbw. the creamy vanilla in here is to die for and pairs wonderfully with the other notes. longevity is poor, but that's to be expected. i truly think this is a year-round scent, it's very wearable and non-offensive. would be great for layering with another fragrance. overall, simple, cheap, unoffending body mist that's great for layering. ♡💌

this was the first perfume i bought (i am 16 years old and i bought this body mist when i was 14) and even if it wasn't the best first perfume, i still really like it. this scent was good and i truly say it by my heart because it is the biggest cause of my passion for fragrances. - it is a body mist so dont expect the quality of a designer edp, it doesn't last long, sillage is not perfect but the scent is actually beautiful. - i don't think this scent is really unisex. it can be too feminine for most, but it is really calming for me so i think both gender can wear it. - if i should say an age for teenager girls it is a night fragrance and for 21 and older they can wear it whenever they want. i should also say for men this is not a scent for teenage boys, definitely 25 and older.

this is exactly what i wished cheirosa '40 would have smelled like. juicy plum with a strong creamy vanilla accord that has a slight woodiness. '40 is far too woody for my liking. the only downside is twilight mist does not have the lasting power or projection that the sol de janeiro line has. although, the body fantasies line tends to have better longevity than bbw mists. this is still true with twilight mist, especially in the hair. i feel like i would really like layering this with sofia or midnight fantasy. any perfume with dark fruits could be layered nicely with this. edit: actually, i'm starting to prefer cheirosa '40 but they do share the same vibe, so this could be a less expensive option.

Well, I do declare! I picked this little beauty up at Family Dollar for a dollar (how often does that happen? LOL!) and on first sniff from the little can (it's a travel size that fits nicely in a purse or pocket) I thought it smelled very similar to Twilight Woods by Bath and Body Works (they do share a few notes, especially in the top). I sprayed it on and was not prepared for the more succulent floral sweetness that greeted me once things settled down. Very nice! Who would've thought a little $1.00 fragrance could smell so good? I might have just stumbled upon another signature scent and I couldn't be more thrilled!

The first 10 seconds is a grape jolly rancher washed down with grape soda. This quickly morphs into something very different, but thank you body fantasies for the cheap grape soda thrill. I think this body spray is wonderfully rich. I love the vanilla, woods and plum made richer by coconut. I don't use body sprays all that much anymore because I don't have time for fragrances without good longetivity, but this one has surprising strength. More like perfume. Deep, rich scent for a body spray. Thanks, Fragrantica, for the info.

Smells just like Welch's Fruit Juice lmao this scent makes me want to drink grape juice tbh I don't pick up any of the vanilla notes. It's pretty singular tbh. That "plum" note is truly just red grapes in my opinion. It's not what I expected tbh. It's mostly musk and berries, with some orchid. Also this one doesn't really last. It's strong for about 10-15 min then dies down. You are going to have to re-spray every now and again. I do feel this could layer really well with another gourmand fragrance with more complex notes.

this is absolutely amazing. i wish it was an actual edp lol. i first smelled this at my boyfriends house because there’s a bottle of it in the bathroom that he’s sprayed a couple times. it fills a room but in a delicious calming way. it’s not too strong or headache inducing, just a beautiful vanilla-plum. another review said this is what the colour purple smells like and i totally agree. this smells like the picture on the label lol. i’m going to buy a bottle for myself and hopefully they never discontinue.

Found a 3.2 oz bottle for less than $3 at Walmart, so I figured I’d give it a go. It’s extremely similar to B&BW Twilight Woods — not a dead ringer, it’s a little fruitier, but you probably wouldn’t notice a difference unless you were specifically looking for it. Unfortunately, the longevity leaves a lot to be desired, as it has all but disappeared by the 2 hour mark. If it’s quality you seek, look elsewhere; if you’re in need of a quick pick-me-up at a rock bottom price, look no further.

The only way I can describe the scent of Twilight is by saying that it smells like the inside of a mall, and I mean that in a good way. I've found that it lasts for a good amount of time, and I was even able to find a travel size bottle of it. It's definitely lovely, especially if you're looking for a quality fragrance on a budget.

I gave this a little spritz at the store today and suddenly I was in middle school again. It was my signature scent, but it's probably impossible to recreate how it truly smelled back then unless they find a chemical compound identical to the fear and sadness of a 12-13 year old emo girl. I still love tuberose though!
