Akaster

I have no idea why this fragrance has received little attention from anyone in the community, because this is probably the most accessible rose-oud without being conventionally tied down to that DNA. Parfums de Marly, while being generally mass-pleasing in all scent profiles, does not trim on variety and the aura of elegance that often characterises high-quality perfumes. Akaster is the perfect example of PdM's endeavour. Scent: 7.5/10 While being nothing groundbreaking or divine, Akaster is a pleasant western oud fragrance that oozes confidence, enigma, and unyielding conviction. The opening starts with a bombshell of spices (noticeably cardamom), and the unmistakable trail of chypress and musk that turns the typical oriental into something airy yet flowery. The scent is rather linear, and when it goes it goes quickly. Versatility: 6/10 I'm one of those who would wear widely considered winter fragrances in summer, and I'm not ashamed to declare Akaster to be as versatile as most oud fragrances. From the perspective of these seasonal wearers, I see Akaster as perfect for fall but not piercing enough for winter. It could be pulled off in spring, but the weight of its aura just doesn't feel right for the occasion. Can also be pulled off with dark tees and chinos, but not so much for grocery trips or vacations. It's just slightly too heady and sophisticated for casual occasions. I'd advise caution as an office scent, the reason being its almost overpowering projection. But if you're like me, none of these matters. Longevity: 5/10 Average lasting power of about 6 to 7 hours, with first one or two hours of solid projection. The radius sizes down for the following hours, and then disintegrates immediately with no signs of being a skin scent whatsoever. Silage/Projection: 7/10 Three sprays and you'll become overly conscious. This is not a fragrance to spray right below the chin, because it will definitely overload your sense of smell. Projects through the shirt comfortably. Creates a wrapping scent bubbles of decent radius, but not much of a trail. Overall: 6.5/10 Good This is a pleasing western oud fragrance that involves chypress as its dominant note, despite the votes given here. The oud seems to lay dormant as the backbone of the perfume, but it is not unnoticable. Frankly speaking, at around 300 USD you should save up more to get a Xerjoff, and if you're looking for a similar profile, I suggest Fars, which is far more sophisticated, balanced, and complex. But if you're able to get this at 50% (like I did), the purchase would be a no brainer.

It’s sad to see this discontinued, but there are still a couple stocks left, so I do implore people to go out and try this. I get that it’s probably a basic middle eastern take but I find Akaster to be this cool, ‘blue’ rose, a cool-tone red, and a deep and dark one at that. It’s sweet and aromatic rather than spicy with an incense-like quality to it. Some days, I actually do smell the praline hahaha. I don’t smell an obvious citrus but it tends do be a little bright in the opening, so some of that levity must come from the citrus. It does remind me of old style masculine perfumes like Egoiste, but the rose blooms in a more middle-eastern and less complicated way. Still, I find this unisex but more fitting for heavier wears like darker denim jackets or three piece suits sort of vibes more than just airy linen. Definitely more of a cold weather scent but I guess it’s largely my perception that rose oud is better as a colder wear over all so it might be my own biases. Overall, the performance is on the mid of PDM. I find it better than Herod, which I think has been reformulated. Ironically, Herod and Akaster were released as a duo, oh how sad it is for Herod to outpace his brother. I wore it out on a day in the mall. Got there before noon and was still able to clearly smell it by 8PM. Of course by then, it was more of an intimate scent but one that didn’t really loose what made it Akaster, so good for him! Sadly, I don’t know any perfume that’s a dead ringer to this one. I get that rose oud is a combination a plenty but this specific one is something I have trouble finding elsewhere, so any good alternatives would be appreciated. The closest I have is Kilian’s Rose Oud, but it is definitely more syrupy, loukhoum marshmallow and oud than...AKASTER.

On my skin in the summer, I get about 4 hours of really good performance then about 8 hours of prominent skin scent. On clothes, this will last for over a week. In cooler temps, this will last a few hours longer. Projection is a bit beyond arms length after the initial opening. To me, it is a rather dense around you. The rose in this has a powdery/dry quality to it, but with a smidgen of sweetness. This is the primary note of the scent. I'm not entirely sure if this uses real oud or not. However, it isn't the "fecal" quality or the more pleasant higher end ones. Instead, it has a "blue cheese" quality to it. By itself, this is not a very pleasant oud but since it's always in the background of the fragrance, it adds some nice depth to it. There are some woody qualities to it that most likely lend itself to the powdery/dry nature of the rose. The scent itself is more professional/formal in nature. Age range is more on the higher end. I would say 30+ or at least someone rather mature. To me, I could see men or women wearing this. The rose certainly lends a certain femininity. The dry/powdery qualities with oud can certainly be worn by men. People who love rose-ouds should give this a try. However, this is not a blind-buy scent from the house.

This is my first perfume review ever. As a middle eastern Arab guy born and raised in the Middle East, I can say i know Oud very well, It is the most popular scent in the Gulf region and the Arab world in general, Along with other Animalic notes. Also as a big PDM fan, I find this perfume extremely underrated. It was overshadowed by its brother Carlisle which is also one of my absolute favorites. Akaster has one of the realist and most refined Oud notes that I have ever smelled in a Rose/Oud perfumes. The rose is very light and blends in so well With the oud which is giving a smother feel to the oud, You can get hints of Cardamom in the dry down which is very nice also. Performance wise: Hands down the best performing PDM in my collection and I have tried almost all of them, This perfume is beast mode. In conclusion: Underrated, If you like real oud with a something that tames it down really well like the rose in this combo then you should definitely try this one. I would give this perfume a solid 8/10.

Lemon and Cardamom are predominant notes in the opening, Cypress came in about a minute later, carrying with it a hint of sourness. There's almost zero sweetness in this, very light and fresh powdery rose supported by the Geranium. After an hour the Lemon and Cypress are completely gone, i can only smell the Musk and Oud with a remnant of rose and Cardamom, the oud here is quite pleasant and inoffensive. This is a masculine scent, more like Lemon/Cardamom/Oud, the rose is quite light on this one. Good performance and longevity, this is a versatile scent to me and can be worn year-round. Akaster is my 13th PDM and I'm very happy to have it in my collection, it ranks right up there next to Oajan, Herod, Layton, and Habdan as a must-have for me. This is an under-rated release being overshadowed by the Carlisle. If you're a big fan of this house you should definitely check it out.

Being a big rose/oud fan, I must say this has become a favourite of mine. Somewhat more masculine than Dior Oud Ispahan to me, and not as overwhelming. For me Oud Ispahan takes about an hour or two to become bearable to me and people around me, whereas Akaster would be ok apply a spray within minutes of having a meeting at the office or something in that direction of activity. Oud is clearly there but not pungent nor overwhelming, and the rose is toned down and sofisticated. A minty vibe is present in the first 20 minutes, but gradually fades away. In terms of longevity and silage, much more toned down compared to Oud Ispahan. I just love this one, and sorry to say, this replaces Oud Ispahan as my "go to" oud/rose combo. Together with Herod this is my best Parfum de Marly scent.

Don't get this one wrong! The first few minutes is like very few parfumes - it smells lesser attractive only the first time you open the box and spray it. After a few days it shows its splendour every single time. The more time is given the better it becomes. I would say it peaks after around 30-120 minutes depending on temperature and humidity. Then it stays there for at least 7-12 hours. It is definitely a very high class parfume and just need a little portion of patience. Absolutely one of the top-5 from PDM. 75% of reviewers who gives Akaster a bad feedback are simply not people who can be taken serious. Their judgements are based on impressions they got in the first 30 seconds - which is purely amateurish! Scent 10/10 Longevity 8/10 Sillage 9/10 Price 6.5/10 Overall 9.5/10

This one has surprised me. I kept on using this as my 'everyday' scent to the gym, shops and so on, purely because it was nice and versatile and not offensive. So for the last couple of months never really wore it in the open air to say, and I always smelled this as a rose scent that gradually dies down. I loved it none the less, but today it was a nice sunny day and I went out on a couple of errands, and whilst walking in the sun noticed a very refined, lovely and distinct Oud waft my way, and I realised that this scent developed completely in a different way to when worn indoors. I was very impressed as I loved it anyway, but to discover that it evolves yet further is a massive bonus, I'm wondering if the rest of PdM behave the same way? Interesting........

This stuff is amazing. You have to like oud/rose, of course. The oud is that synthetic juicy rubbery kind- not animalic, and the same found in a fragrance like Oud For Greatness. The rose is dark, dry and reminds me of red wine. There are additional spices and aromatic notes, especially in the top. The dry-down has an incense vibe. Longevity and sillage are strong but not beastly. Quality of ingredients is high. If you like oud/rose combos like Oud Ispahan, Oud Touch (F. Olivier), Oudh 36 nuit, etc., this stuff falls into a similar territory (though it stands apart). Sample first.

I found a really good deal on a 2017 batch on a facebook collector group and had to pull the trigger. This is definitely my most crazy blind buy to date, but ended up being one of the only good ones (hah). I find most PDM easy to like and most of them have some mass appeal, so I wasn't that affraid. Lovin' this scent profile, it had a good blend of freshness and realistic rose oud. Will cherish this banger for years to come.

I have about 10 higher end Rose Ouds, and this one has that sum sum that makes it more appealing to me. I like it most of all except maybe Oud Maximus, which is probably my number one. To me, it leans a tiny bit more masculine, but remaining a little sweet at the same time. Longevity is really good, and projection seems good too. Gonna need a full bottle, or at least a good sized partial! 8-1/2 out 10!

Hands down one of the worsts opening in a fragrance to exist. The oud smells so bad almost like sweaty skunk type of smell. After 5 minutes when Akaster has dried down a little the rose starts to kick in with a smooth oud in the background. This fragrance is made to come out and make a statement. I love it. To me my nose picks up rose, oud, fresh spicy and woody notes for sure.

One of the few PdM fragrances I’m not a fan of. The flowery rose note and powdery scent is dominant for a few hours. If that’s what you’re looking for then Akaster could definitely be your signature scent. Once it dries down to the base notes, the oud and cardamom present a nice scent. I just don’t care to wait several hours to get there.

Akaster was one of my earliest rose oud fragrances, along with Micallef Aoud and Montale Aoud Purple Rose. Akaster is divine, opulent and regal. I enjoy pairing this with Mizensir Golden Oud. Both offer orgasmic rose oud combo that any man and women can wear and adore with no skanky-manure side effects in sight. A royal duo.

One of the best aromatic rose oud fragrances I’ve ever come across and extremely smooth and creamy and the dry down. Akasters price point is rather steep...but regardless, I’m still buying a backup bottle soon. This is a must have in any man’s collection IMO

It may be because I’m not a floral guy but, the rose is a bit strong to me. There’s nothing offensive but I won’t be buying. One note I found interesting was the cypress accord. EDIT: after a few wearings, it grew on me to become a favorite.i will replce.

This is a Masculine woody kind of OUD ( still smokey and tar like though ) with a really jammy syrupy rose and cypress moving around them. Beautiful. Performance is Good, nothing like the other pdms but respray every 6 hours.

So extremely underrated... It's bold, masculine rose-oud, but sensual and wearable at the same time. Give it a try.

the beginning is oud, a chewy slightly sweet rose and some greenery from the cypress. i've tried several rose ouds (and love most of them!) so i am no expert, but this is nice. i haven't tried one with cypress (that i can recall.) i get a hint of it, along with geranium and lemon but can detect no musk. it's a nice rose oud. not my absolute favorite but still, nice. i think the cypress and cardamom combination is exhibiting something akin to patchouli here. i think of this as unisex/traditionally masculine. (anyway...what's with the snobbery and ageism (by some) on this site? you'll be old someday and one day you'll like a 'passe' perfume. not sure why people have to do this.)

Tried from a sample acquired at a PdM counter. A drier, more airy (Perris Monte Carlo) Bois d'Oud minus the stewed plums. IMO the consummate out/rose combination, so well blended and definitely skews masculine. And while it has decent projection, it's not going to leap out and grab the lapel of the person sitting next to you while it mounts a full frontal assault on their olfactory lobe. Simply put, a masterpiece of a rose/oud blend I would wear day or night while suited as well as to less formal evening social functions. Will be keeping an eye out for this at discounters, as it's a worthy add at the right price.

I find PdM’s take on rose / oud very interesting. The rose note is much earthier – dustier, even – than that of many competing offerings. Akaster walks you through a damp, freshly tended rose garden, where you catch whiffs of soil amid the pure rose essence emanating from the bushes. Oud is the backbone; it is present, but not overpowering. I much prefer Akaster’s style to the photorealistic sugar-dipped rose / oud combos that abound, but still don’t quite think that I could pull it off. Nevertheless, the fragrance is very well executed and worth trying if you’re looking for something in the genre.

Upon first spray it is nauseating and I want to wash it off. Give it about 30 minutes and you'll smell like a prince walking through a royal flower garden in the springtime. It feels truly unisex, I don't really see it leaning more masculine or feminine, I feel like I can't pull this off because I lean towards more masculine scents. I get heavier rose than oud with this fragrance. Like most PDM it smells extremely natural. Overall I highly recommend if you can pull this off. It smells extremely fresh for the notes it pushes.

Like this more than I thought I would, but it’s really not that unique like many other PdMs but is still objectively a nice rose oud albeit a bit overpriced for what it is. There’s a freshness and a slight citrus zing that lifts Akaster up and the oud is by no means too animalic or too synthetic smelling, but there is just too many other better and cheaper rose ouds in the market that it doesn’t make Akaster worth it, does have good longevity not a beast but above average.

The rubbery oud accord is reminding me of Oud for Greatness, but it’s got a sweet jammy rose lurking behind. Something is giving it a slightly fresh vibe. Still, I wouldn’t wear this in the dead of a Texas summer. Overall, very nice. Seems youthful and modern.

This is definitely a classic take on a rose-oud fragrance. Quite nice imo, but not too groundbreaking either. 7.5/10 imo

Opens barnyard and settles into a less potent Kilian Musk Oud. Good, but musk oud is much better.

Generic rose & oud. Longevity isn't that good, I would go to other rose & oud fragrances.

Rubbery rose-oud with a fresh green accent. Could be a 4 if there weren't so many similar cheapie options on the market. Way overpriced.

Well I put a big fat 'Dislike' on this without even posting a review which is not unusual for me as I'm super forgetful. I actually think Akaster is a good answer to those who say that PdM is a 'jumped up clone house' full of it's own importance, exclusivity and high prices but actually just ripping off well known perfumes with no originality. A claim which might have a touch of merit but is also slightly unfair, because like most things, it's more complicated than that. I say that Akaster is different from many perfumes because it's pretty stark and actually quite awful! However, I'd love to have the bottle to wear something like this, so off the wall and animal. Akaster has a cheese and barnyard stink to the the oud note which I just can't get passed. There's a rose in here too but that doesn't do any good just adds to the unpleasantness, like a toilet sprayed with air freshener to mask a particularly foul smelling dump! Now, I like some skanky perfumes, animal, civet, powerful middle eastern attars, genuine oud accords etc.. even the manure tones of tobacco or tanning leather...basically I'm no shrinking violet or olfactory prude but this stuff really didn't agree with me at all. What I think makes it worse is the seeming attempt to cling to the 'Marly line' the continuing preppy, Creed like narrative which might not even be deliberately fostered by the brands creator but is still evoked for me. Examples like Pegasus, Carlyle and of course Layton are 'designerish' if that's even a thing? And Akaster has clean elements and something accessible but a heart of absolute crazy, unpleasantness. Like the sterile, cleanliness of a hospital but with the smell of illness and various bodily secretions vague, but ever present. For all it's oud gurth there's something light about akaster. An example of something with dirt and skankiness but that owns it and see's it through from concept to effect on the user, is Imaginary authors Bull's blood. Another perfume I'd say I don't like but for different reasons. This stuff was certainly a talking point for me.

The opening of this one is prominently animalic (and off-putting) either from black musk or from aged oud, and it stays like this for almost 60 minutes before it begins to gradually turn into something acceptable but not much interesting, just the typical oud-rose combo. I expected something much better from this house.

A big time pass for me. Such a lazy take on rose-oud combo! It smells exactly like half of $6 arabic perfumed oils. Worst in entire PdM line.

I tried several times during the day on the tester and body but did not like it. I'm so glad I didn't blind buy it!!

A failed take on the oud/rose theme. Pass. Should you look for a serious oud/rose frag, go for Zegna Indonesian Oud, or Louis Vuitton Nouveau Monde. Should you be new to the oud world, I'd recommend Guerlain Santal Royal instead, that is an rose/sandalwood/oud frag (in that order), easier to wear than the previous 2 frags I listed.

What I can smell is pleasant, but this one performs horribly for me. 5 sprays and after around 2 hours it's undetectable unless I smell my shirt. Will re-try again after the sample I bought has settled more, but by far the worst performing PDM I have ever tried.

Perfumes de Marly Akaster خب علاقه مندان به روایح عودی مثل خودم بخوبی میدونن کارهای عودی چنان گیرا و همه پسند نیستند و منفیترین بازخوردها معمولا از عطرهایی هستند که یه قسمته قضیه عوده البته فارغ از بحث سلایقه دوستان خب این عطر ظاهری سیاه و عبوس و بسته بندی پر هیبتی داره ولی خوده عطر درست برعکس ظاهرش ژانری هنری داره و مناسبترین عطر برای یک قراره عاشقانه در یک کافه حین نوشیدنه قهوه یا مراسمی هنری برای تماشای آثار هنری یا تماشای یک اثر هنری در سینما یا تئاتر هستش پس تا اینجا فاصله تا سریarabian collectionنسبتا زیاده در مورد رایحه شاید انتظار داشتم یک امضای تمام عیار از مارلی ببینم هر چند کارهای عودی اکثرا هم سبک هستند و هرگونه تشابه ممکنه اتفاقی باشه ولی برای یک عطر با این برچسب قیمتی چندان شباهت با آثار دیگه خوشایند نیست عطرهای سانتال رویال از گرلن رویال عود از کرید و البته نیسان و شاگیا از همین برند رد پایی ازشون هست پس در گامه اول تاکید میکنه جدیدترین امضای مارلی کارلایل هستش هر چند عطرهایی مانند شاگیا لیتون کارلایل و کلیه سری arabian هیچ شباهتی ندارن در دنیای روایح ولی این بار عطرهای با کیفیت و گرون قیمتی دست به دست هم دادن و شدن Akaster در مورد رایحه آکاستر با تم عود شروع میشه تمی که غالب هست بر فضای ترشه لیموییه آکاستر از لحظه تست تا همین الان که 5 ساعت هستش هنوز وارد مرحله پایانی عطر نشدم ولی با حالت عطر انتظار هل دارچین و تنباکو را در نت پایانی عطر دارم نمره من به رایحه کمتر از 9 نیست چون همه چیز در مورد رایحه حساب شده و دقیق هست عود در این عطر خیلی خالص نیست و حالت مصنوعی سانتاله گرلنو نداره و به جدی و قلدریه رویال عود نیست و توی عودها من شخصا دوسش دارم و قبولش دارم این عطر بر اساس و الگوی نیسان طراحی شده و شباهت بالایی هم به نیسان داره ولی از نوعه عودش هواداران پرفورمنس باید بدونن شاید اولین عطریه که دارم به این نتیجه میرسم کمی نزدیک نیسان و اوژانه قدرت بی نظیره پخش بوی این عطر خودش تا حد زیادی میتونه موفقیتش در بین عودهای رده بالارو تضمین کنه

I'm beginning to feel like there’s only so much to be said about Oud/Rose fragrances. Akaster fits nicely into that category with a bright burst of rose at the outset followed by an oud backbone. Parfums de Marley included a twist here, however, with the inclusion of cypress. This is a very prominent opening note to my nose and adds a very appealing green quality to the oud, to the point where its heaviness drifts into the background. Rose then becomes the centerpiece of the fragrance and takes Akaster in a fairly unisex direction. The unisex direction continues as the mid reveals Akaster to be more of a floral fragrance than anything else. I get a very clean, green, fresh rose with very little oud remaining. It’s quite lovely, and skews to the gentler side of oud roses. Gentle to the point that walking down the street wearing Akaster gives the impression of a stroll through a lush rose garden. A bit dandy-ish perhaps, but still masculine enough to make it comfortable to wear. Even on a warm day, Akaster proved a rose lover’s delight. That being said, as body heat rises and you begin to sweat, the oud becomes more and more prominent to the point of being nearly overwhelming. The drydown gets a renewed interest from the oud, and the fragrance evens out to what is typical of oud rose fragrances: dark, woody oud with a bright floral flourish. I’d place the rose as still in the lead at this phase, but the cypress all but vanishes. The more I wear and encounter rose in fragrances, the more I appreciate it. I find it elegant, uplifting, peaceful and a bit regal. Akaster happily is all those things too in different phases.

I don’t think I’ve written a review here before but felt strongly about Akaster, enough to do it. When I was looking to add a tobacco perfume to my collection, I must have tried 10+ top tobacco perfumes, till I settled on Herod and bought a bottle. Now on search for my perfect rose Oud perfume, I’ve already tried almost 20 including Tiziana golden Oud rose, OFG, Halfeti, MFK satin, MFK silk, TF Noir noir,...,.. and many others. They were all good but too light on the Oud itself. Some were too unisex for my taste. More targeted to western noses, but once I smelled Akaster I was in love. I literally made this stupid humming sound every time I smelled it. The Oud here is more realistic. If you’ve ever been to Dubai or Saudi and went inside one of the Oud stores, it’s that type of Oud. But still mixed so beautifully with rose, comes out SOO ELEGANT, I don’t think they thought twice about what color bottle for it, of course black. I bought myself a 10cc decant to use while waiting on a good discount, to buy a bottle. So if you like that type of Oud, Akaster would be top roseoud perfume for you. Unlike Oud for greatness, to which they compare Akaster to, OFG you can’t really wear it that often, Akaster on the other hand can very well be a signature scent if you play with how many sprays. I really thought OFG should more appropriately be compared to baccarat 540 but what do I know. Out of 20 rose Oud high end mostly niche samples I’ve tried, Akaster was the best balance, and she elegant. Hope this helps!

In Akaster, the lemon is buried beneath the green freshness of cypress over dry rose blossoms and a gentle breeze of oud. It lacks an opening "wow" factor, but is a welcome change from the usual burst of citrus. On my skin, it seems linear, (until the sudden drydown; the oud kept at bay by the leafy greenness and dusty rose) other than cardamon and musk ever so slowly coming to the surface of this peculiar scent. The fragrance is pleasant, yet I would never buy it. It feels oddly asexual at the start. A garden solarium should smell this way; not a man or woman. However, the cypress eventually fades and it becomes completely different--an alluring oud/rose scent with perhaps a dash of sandalwood to sweeten the base. Very good longevity, sillage, and projection. Just a 6.5/10 b/c I have no idea when, where, or why to wear it.

One of the best, most refined and realistic oud fragrances in the world of fragrances. I am more into rose and oud-based scents but in Akaster, the rose is very soft and light which blends perfectly with the oud making it feel smoother. Spiciness of the cardamom in dry down makes it even more lovely. Opening notes in this one are lemon and cypress while the middle notes are African Geranium and Bulgarian rose while the base notes are cardamom, oud, and musk. Eternal longevity and enormous silage make it outshine even more. Pretty elegant, bold, dense, mature, natural, and intense fragrance that gives bold, classy, casual and dark vibes. Solid one! Love this Oudy oud scent!

This one took me with pleasant surprise. I tried it with low expectations given its basic listed rose oud recipe but the reality was totally different. This is an ultra sophisticated fragrance that feels very light while it is loaded with very heavy components. The top notes are unusual which gives akaster a nice twist and the oud used is fine, light and luxurious perfectly blended with the Taif rose that is officially listed by Parfums de Marly but not mentioned in fragrantica. I detect frankincense in the background as well. Performance and longevity are more than enough. I recommend this one strongly if you are into this genre.

This is a review of a sample from a reputable supplier. It's a rose oud, nothing unusual about that. I don't really get a sense of barnyard, as I would from a Hindi oud, but I for me the rose punches through in the beginning. On dry down the floral elements fade and it starts to resemble Oud For Greatness. I've ended up spraying this and OFG on my arms. A distinct difference on first spraying, but after a while a similarity, Akaster remaining a little sweeter. The "oud" is very similar. As an owner OFG and a number of rose ouds, I won't be buying a full bottle. It's not one of my favourite PDMs, but it's not a bad fragrance.

It's a pretty square oud/rose, and both the oud and rose are very pleasant. No animal or excrement at all. Furthermore, there's a very present musk that has a spiced and slightly soapy effect. It's fairly dry, and the execution is slightly waxy and borders on scented candle. I ultimately don't feel it bonding with me, it feels as if it's "on" me. I think that's because I'm male and this smells like it belongs on a woman. In keeping with PDM's fragrances, the smoothness and quality of the ingredients is a cut above. I would recommend for ladies looking for an elegant evening fragrance.

My 19 year old son wears this. I bought him a bunch of PdM samples & this was his favorite. Shocking for me because it’s not something I thought he’d like on the slightest. However, on him it’s a head-turner. It’s smells visceral yet oddly shy & pure. Very hard to describe. It’s beautiful nonetheless & I’ve come to relate it to an angst innocence brooding on raw masculinity. I find it relaxing when I catch trails of it around the house when he wears it. Its mysterious yet very bold. It definitely has an Arabian quality to it but I don’t think there’s a scent quite like this out there.

Unique rose oud combo, which means niche-heads have the chance to discover something awesome (which some reviewers certainly have). I started off with a feeling of strong like, but it doesn’t go in my direction. Cypress and Cardamon are on stage for the show so if you are typically fans of their performances, then I’d suggest at least checking out the trailer.

I really dont get all the bad reviews. This is a dope masculine men's Rose/Oud beast. It's way more for the western noses which is awesome imo. Not to say that I shy away from the more daring and potent, but this really is a great Frag, worthy of men who want a rose frag and no hint of unisex vibe. Guys, dont sleep on this.
