Elixir d'Amour

Fresh and green start with bergamot and fig leaf, small amount of saffron and pink pepper turn it a bit spicy, it then turns into a beautiful ambery rose/oud fragrance with raspberry and caramel being the most notable notes with a good dose of florals. The oud in here is a little bit animalic but only a little not too much for the "untrained" noses. Overall this juice is sexy, elegant and even after a couple hours still a little bit fresh and green wich adds depth to the fragrance and gives a unique touch to it. For me this is absolute perfection.

I can just say Wow, I have hundreds of perfumes, and few of them wow me upon first use. This is one of them. Many of the famouse ( not even hyped) ,didnt give me this initial excitement despite that I like or love them. This is a very transparent sweet fresh feminin fragrance. It is really nice and unique smelling. Very elegant and so happy I baught it.

This is how the elegance smells. So well balanced perfume. A bit bitter at the start on me and intense , but comes down in 5 minutes. It is refined woody on my skin with a hint for sweetness, with a hint for green notes and a bit of florals and ,maybe, caramel. The aroma warms up with the time and hovers over the area of application on the skin. Imposiible for me to seperate into individual notes. Sounds harmonious like an orchestra . Long lasting, with long elegant tail. Worth its money. Guess, it is for mature noses.

Update 2: I've put this at the top as it is a much nicer review. I sprayed the perfume on clothing, let it settle and I actually love this perfume now. I did not like it at first. See the review/s below. You may be like me and dislike the green notes initially but if you wait a bit, they soften. ORIGINAL REVIEW/S BELOW: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The combination of notes in this perfume make me feel ill. Sometimes green notes just don't work for me and this is a perfect example. It is some interaction with other notes that make me feel nauseous and it reminds me of toilet smells being covered by a cheap spray. I wanted to like this, thought I did at first but now I just feel a bit sick smelling this. The Chanel 19 green notes are fine for me but this combination just isn't. Sad.... ** UPDATE: ** This settles a bit more and it is more appealing but the greenness still persists. It is, however, more tolerable and the perfume becomes gentler, easier to appreciate.
