Yaringa

I'm repetitive, I know, but the sea is part of myself. There are many of its interpretations, and some project me into real paintings, because yes, art and perfumes in my opinion are closely bounded. Art with art, emotion, involvement. In Hawaii the term Yaringa means "by the sea", and this is exactly where I find myself. A warm beach surrounded by coconut trees, me alone, on the shore enjoying the freshness and beauty of what surrounds me. Staring at infinity. A fragrance with salty notes, with myrtle that is immediately highlighted by my skin, but which then (and this is one of those creations that must be waited for, because of the beautiful evolution), are made ethereal and wonderful by a fabulous coconut and then by aromatic hints and passion fruit, which round everything off. Excellent persistence and sillage, it really gets many compliments. Really beautiful. Wear it even in the coldest seasons: it will comfort you and project you into paradise. “Rooms by the Sea” by Hopper.

Such a beauty. Fresh, sweet and aquatic. Very safe blind buy in my opinion, it is an uplifting fragrance which gets me compliments everytime I wear it. I couldn’t resist and bought a full size immediately. I don’t get the sunscreen Edit: Just saw Mrtanaka’s review above and I forgot to mention, I consider this perfume feminine leaning, as I personally prefer something less sweet on men. To me it still is a very safe blind buy, but maybe not exactly for men? Not everyone is going to fall in love with it, but I don’t see how someone could hate this beauty. However, this is just my opinion. There are samples available to buy online, so if the price tag is a concern, then of course don’t take my word for it and try for yourself :)

Yaringa is one of the best ocean vibe scents I’ve come across. As someone who also grew up next to a beach, this is comforting to me. I get stunning sea/beach mineral vibes that smell fresh and airy. Yaringa conjures up a feeling of freedom, happiness and relaxation. It paints a picture of being out in the middle of the ocean somewhere on a boat, relaxing in the sun, faint whiffs of suntan lotion and sea breeze in my face, sipping a passionfruit cocktail out of a coconut with no cares in the world. I love how it develops as it warms on the skin. I get fleeting whiffs that alternate between ocean breeze, coconut & passionfruit. I find the scent light, but very very long lasting and it does create a beautiful scent bubble around you. Perfectly unisex in my opinion. This is an easy summer wear for me. 10/10! However I’d also agree it isn’t a safe blind buy, although nothing is! Always sample first if you can resist the temptation.

I like Yaringa, it's unique with being fresh without relying on any form of citruses. It's sadly not good enough, to be full bottle worthy, for me personally. I disagree hard with Sachajela's comment below. This is NOT A SAFE BLIND BUY IMO ! I had people telling me they like this but also had two cases of people saying it's nauseating. It is aquatic and has fresh elements but it's not a full on freshie. It has very controversial notes of coconut and seaweed which a lot of people don't like at all. For the sake of your wallet, try this before you buy. It's 250 bucks for 60ml, kinda hyped and therefore hard to find at a good discount atm.

When I first smelled it reminded me of sunscreen which it does have a vibe of. Think of this fragrence as a sweet salty aromatic coconut next to the ocean.

This is a kind of a salty, marine scent with a coconut - It is ok but still far behind the best ones on the market: Acqua di Sale by Profumum Roma, Salaria by Giardino Benessere or Sel Marin by Heeley.

It smells like salty sunscreen with a tropical vibe. Like a mix between Hawaiian tropic and nivea.
