Zoa Night Perfume

This is sexy to me I wish it lasted longer. This is about 2 to 3 hours on me and the projection really isn't fair you have to get close to smell it. On my skin this smells like champagne Patchouli and vanilla. Very sexy very mysterious very grown very elegant. Think a long black silk dress with an open back and slit all the way up to the thigh.

I ordered it on eBay mostly because of a beautiful bottle, well, and the fact that the price was so small... This one is interesting. I have no idea what yuzu smells like. The top notes disappear for me very fast, and I begin to enjoy middle and base. I don’t get much of patchouli, mostly orchid and amber. Later some vanilla emerges. It reminds me of 3 other perfumes: if Oscar de la Renta Midnight Amber and Calvin Klein Euphoria Amber Gold had a baby, and that baby had a baby with Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue Royale and happened to be very quiet and shy... It may not make much sense, but I detect some notes that are not listed... Overall I like it!

This opens with HUGE fruit though that's not listed as a note. As it dries down to the middle, I can smell the vanilla and patchouli coming through but not in a cheap way. This reminds me of a less refined and powerful version of Tauer's Fruitchouli Flash. It is a distant cousin. It doesn't stay quite as juicy.

Blind buy. Very French, intense, strong, sweet,... The bottle looks very cool and elegant. So amazing.

It smells very promising delicious in the opening, juicy with sweet orchid, accompaigned by a soapy french rose and a distinct champagne note waking up my senses, but then its quickly followed by something earthy mossy lingering on my skin really prominent untill the drydown, maybe too mutch pachouli for my nose, the amber is not indeed detectable for me, thats why i disliked this point of the heady patchouli also in allure sensuelle... I don t like to wear this perfume. :( what a shame, the bottle is very nice and the fume is real french quality, stays and stays and projects well. If someone in europe loves heady patchouli perfumes and wanna have it, just pm me.

Testing this out blindly from a swap. Definitely not my type of notes (not a patchouli, amber, or vanilla person) but it certainly smells expensive and "french" as others have mentioned. I wouldn't wear it myself but I'm glad I got to try it out.

I certainly don't get yuzu or any citrus and definitely not champagne. This is like being dropped in a disgusting vat of candy floss. Maybe I was sold a fake - starting to really loathe ebay

Unlike Regine's namesake fragrance which is a loud, brash, enters the room before the wearer beeswax and amber potion (think 60's divorcee), Zoa Nights is very subtle and tame. It's opening is a flash of subdued citrus that quickly settles down to a powdery sweetened vanilla intended to draw you in for closer inspection A delicate allure. Blackest Night packaging. Rather sultry. Grown-ups Only.

Zoa - meh! Zoa Night, on the other hand, is lovely. I'm may not know art, but I know what I like. I find Zoa Night sweet (but not sickly) with smoky undertones. My 'nose' isn't very well trained, so although I have tried to describe the notes I can smell in the perfume pyramid above, I'm not sure an expert would agree. I just know I love it.

I wouldn't mind to have this one, even if I haven't tried it ...I know the day version from 1989 , and it so good.
