Emperor Eau de Parfum

Wow! Reading through the reviews and the Aventus Fanboy Club has all but taken over. I'll come back to this topic after my review of Emperor EDP. This is a fantastic fragrance! The pineapple is gorgeous - bright, juicy, sweet, sparkly, but with a hint of saltiness. It's like smelling the perfect pineapple at its apex of being ripe before it spoils. After the pineapple begins to settle, the other fruits take turns introducing themselves as they flash off one after the other, in a juxtaposed fashion, while the vanilla and salty woods base holds everything together. The vanilla isn't heavy, but noticeable, and the same with the birch. This isn't a "smoky vanilla" Aventus batch like 13Q01. This is more subtle, but it's noticeable. The overall performance is 10+ hours with massive silage for all of 4 solid hours and then some - depending on atmospheric conditions. You CAN overspray to the point of obnoxious. It will not only fill a room, but the entire building. Two to three sprays lasts all day. This is a 10/10 for me. The performance is better than most Aventus batches I('ve) own(ed), and better than ALL other Aventus clones on the market. Just remember - When you buy any bottle in the PV EMPEROR lineup, you have to let it macerate just like you would a bottle of Aventus. When I receive a new bottle, I immediately apply 5-6 sprays and store it in a dark, cool spot for about a month, then come back to it and repeat. By the 3rd visit, it's gotten a lot stronger and the notes are becoming distinguishable. What this is doing is allowing oxygen into the bottle and mix with the juice. This accelerates maceration. Always store your frags in a cool, dark place. UV is the worst thing to expose your frags to. Next is drastic temperature fluctuations where the juice is heated up and cooled off too much. Never keep your frags in the bathroom or vehicle. Now, about Aventus. I've owned well over 100 different batches and have literally spent $$$ TENS OF THOUSANDS on them (10J/K, 11N/X/Z, 13NB/Q/R/T/U/Z/ZZ, 14G/H, 15P/R/U/W/X/Y, 16A/B/C/D/E/F/G/H/J/K/L/M, 17N/R/T/V/W, 18B/G/K, 19P/S/U and all the LOT variants of each, and I'm leaving out a bunch). Aventus is good, but it ain't $400 good (Retail). I have cheaper colognes that smell and perform so much better, and receive so many more compliments, and PV EMPEROR EDP is one of them. TBH, I rarely get compliments when I wear Aventus, and most have been/are from guys. Here's the honest truth about Aventus. It's a "boxer-dropper" frag because it's a "prestige" thing with guys. After being a member of every Aventus Facebook group for years, it's just a bunch of dudes whacking their puds while patting each other on the back and hyping the hype. It's like a cult of closet roamers. AND THAT'S THE TRUTH Take it however you will, I don't care. I just know that after ALL THE HYPE I bought into with Aventus, I'll put my bottle of EMPEROR EDP up against ANY Aventus batch from 2014 to Present. ESPECIALLY present! The new Aventus is worse than that lemon pledge toilet water known as CDNIM. YOU'RE WELCOME!

Well I did it. I finally got around to grabbing an Emperor sample and testing it out. What's my verdict you ask? Well, I must say, it is very, very close to the best 2015 batches of Aventus. How close you ask? I would say around 96% close. Creed Aventus has been my signature scent since 2015. I have worn at least one batch of Aventus from each year since 2015 with the exception of this year. I have not smelled every batch like some, but my favorite batches I have smelled are from 2015. I actually still have some 15Y11 left which is known to be a beast and in fact the batch that I tested Emperor against here (equal amount sprayed on each back of hand). I would say the main difference between Emperor and my 15Y11 Aventus batch is performance. Emperor just can't quite match the strength and pop of my "Holy Grail" 2015 batch, but it can be argued that neither can modern day Aventus. I actually prefer Emperor over my 2019 batch of Aventus. And I never thought I would say that. Before Emperor, I had never been a big fan of Aventus clones. I mean CDNI was probably the closest before Emperor, but never did it for me when I smelled it up close. The other clones were synthetic smelling bombs to me, but Parfums Vintage intrigued me when they released the original PV and Noir. They captured some of that "sparkle" that was missing from any clone before. Still, in comparison to Aventus I thought it lacked depth and the pineapple note was just too sharp. PVI came out soon after, and while performance was improved and notes amplified, that "sharp" pineapple note with nostril burning capabilities was even sharper. It wasn't until King that PV started to finally nail the pineapple note in actual Aventus. And here, in Emperor? I think they've really nailed it. This is by far THE BEST Aventus clone you will ever smell. I really think I am going to save my pennies and buy this next time instead of trying to rely on decanters or discounters of the real thing.

A very Pineapple Vintage-esque pineapple note up top – quite tart but this opening doesn’t last long as the other notes tend to catch up quickly creating a very masculine, sensual scent that commands attention. The scent is very well blended into a Smokey woody pineapple that we know so synonymously with Aventus. Although, in my opinion and on my skin, this is definitely superior to the 2018 sample I have but (as I recall) in the same realm as older versions. Creed has lost me with all this batch stuff – too much to keep up with! Occasions – Anytime, Anywhere, dressed up or down. The performance makes this a go to in the winter, especially here in the Rocky Mountains where the temps can drop below freezing and on many occasions sub zero. On 4 sprays, I get anywhere from 8-11 hours. The extrait version is absolute beast mode, easily lasting for 14+ hours and destroying the cold air like a true warrior. Overall - This is hands down my most complimented scent and the reactions I get from women are awkward and indescribable. I do not wear this to work anymore because of this, but this is a go to for formal and date night. A true panty dropper extraordinaire in every sense of the word! Glad I bought the 100 ml while it was still available as at the time of this review – only a 50ml is available.

I got a sample of this through with another purchase and being a big fan of Aventus and having some to compare it against, I was quite excited to try this. I have to say at this point I've never tried any of PV's other Aventus offerings, so can't say how this compares, but right next to my batch of 18d02, this is really good! Opening is very similar, with Aventus being a little softer and Emperor being more prominent, but yet still well rounded. Aventus seems to lose the smell of the opening quicker, but this is something I don't mind as at this point is that smell of Aventus that I love. Emperor in dry down is very similar again, it's stronger than Aventus and to my amateur nose, I can smell more of the vanilla coming through in Aventus and some of the other notes being more prominent in Emperor. Longevity - I get nose fatigue quite easily with Aventus, but I found the 2 of them very close being very long lasting, but emperor throughout being the stronger and better projecting! In closing, this is as good as it gets and honestly I would happily purchase this in replacement of Aventus! They also do an extrait, which I'd be interesting in getting a sample of at some point. An easy buy for any of you pineapple heads :)

I've tried 4 batches of Aventus, all 2018 onward, and Emperor EDP is better than 3 of them. Emperor has superior performance to these 4, the quality of the birch in emperor is excellent. Very pronounced and realistic. It's hands down the best of all Aventus clones I've tried. The branding is nowhere near on Creed's level, but hey can't have it all at a discounted price. Would wear this spring through summer. Have also tried Emperor Extrait, which is less fruity and dries down into a gorgeous smooth ambergris. The Extrait would definitely be better suited to colder days, I prefer the versatility of Emperor EDP. If I had the choice between newer Aventus batches and this I'd pick this. Edit: have now tried 17Q11 and 17N01. Vs weaker batches I prefer emperor, but once you start getting into the stronger ones you start noticing the lack of depth in emperor, particularly in smoke, apple, blackcurrent and vanilla. Emperor extrait has a more well rounded vanilla, but neither has a smoke note, just tonnes of birch. Edit2: Have now tried 17X01, 15U11, 15X21, these are all far better than emperor in just about every way, but are also about twice as expensive.

1st of all I have NOTHING bad to say about this fragrance, this is literally Aventus in another bottle... the amount of compliments I get with with this fragrance aren’t even comparable to other “clones” this stuff has turned girls on at my work, customers have stopped me numerous times to ask what I was wearing it’s really quite insane how magical this stuff is I’m not kidding... an absolute Aphrodiasac... never had a problem with customer service so I don’t get what everybody says about “crappy customer service” never had a problem with shipping or packaging and I buy parfums vintage fragrances pretty regularly and it’s always been fine for me... this fragrance out performs Aventus 18 and 19 batches by a mile, there is no other fragrance on the market that smells this close to Aventus without being the real thing

This is the most accurate Aventus clone available as of March 2019... It's actually a better opening than Aventus IMO, but 95% similar. The drydown is probably 99% similar. Definitely better than more recent (2017+) batches. If you already have Aventus, don't bother getting this... Until you run out of Aventus, that is. Then this would make a great replacement. Projection is great, but I haven't been able to gauge longevity yet, as Aventus and all the clones make me nose blind. I'll have to get someone else to wear it to test longevity. For comparison, all the other clones have been no more than 75% similar in opening, and no more than 90% similar on drydown. Have nosed: CDNIM L'Aventure Brasilia Vibrant Leather Insurrection II Pure Explorer Supremacy Silver & various oil clones...

Received the bottle 4 days after purchase. The scent and performance is superior to any batch of Aventus I've tried since 2018 and I'd go as far to say it's difficult to choose a favorite from Emperor to 15Y11 which is my preferred batch. 15Y11 is strong on the berries and Emperor is better balanced with more pineapple and vanilla but they both have the quality that the new Aventus batches lack. There is certainly a delta with Aventus clones and PV go all in when it comes to taking on Aventus in selling the vintage magic that we can no longer rely on Creed for. I've just noticed on their site they are offering the new Pineapple designed bottles. I fancy picking up Emperor Extrait in those beauties.

What can I say – this stuff is amazing. All of the other fragrances in the Pineapple Vintage line were alternatives to / variations on Aventus, that played on the Aventus DNA and amped up certain notes, be it vanilla, smoke, pineapple etc. All great in their own right. Rather than an alternative, Emperor is a straight up replacement for Aventus. It is more balanced, it’s perfectly blended and the result is truly amazing. Its not cheap, however it costs considerably less than Aventus, smells equally good (or better) and you know what you are getting, unlike with Aventus and its lottery of batch variations. When looked at through this lense, the pricing seems fair. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Very good aventus clone. Own a 2015 batch - this is very close but not identical. Aventus had this ethereal feeling to it - unmatched quality. With that said, I don’t own a time machine so I can’t buy more of the original stuff. Creed absolutely massacred our boy and raised the price on a sub par reformulation of the original. PV has very good clones, have had good experiences with them. I will buy this regularly unless they get greedy and reformulate too. Also recently bought “emperors sunset” a mix of aventus and BR540. Upon receipt of that bottle I’ll post an in depth review on that page.

You could re-package this stuff in a Creed Aventus bottle and I guarantee you it would sell more than the current reformulations of Aventus... this stuff is literally Aventus 2015 in another bottle... had a girl tell me today that I smelled so damn good that if I were any closer to her she would have caved and on a scale of 1-10 she was 14 on tempting kiss me lmao prolly the best compliment I’ve ever received so... yeah you don’t need any validation, this stuff is Aventus and if you were to re bottle this stuff in a creed bottle nobody would be able to tell the difference

Fantastic performing fragrance with a nice juicy pineapple with the wood and patchouli adding a nice layer to the powerful citrus, however I would say that there's a little too much musk on the opening, in my opinion. This fragrance will last you all day and project really well for at least the first 3-4 hours with only 2 sprays. The dry down turns into a more sweet, floral smell that's really smooth. Beautiful fragrance overall, 9.5/10. I do warn that you will go nose blind after a few hours of this on. Will update this review if I have any new thoughts.

I loved the extrait, but have to say, this is even better. The extrait more oils, less alcohol but this edp has much better projection, sillage, and in my opinion, even last even longer. This is what aventus used to smell like. Bright pineapple opening, then the smoky birch that aventus just cant get right anymore. Power house and so so good. I just sold my last bottle of 2020 aventus to get more of this edp. It is better in everyway.

I have many batches of Aventus (post 2017), and I will almost say this is better than all of these batches. Although it won't pump up the projection it does last over 10 hours on the skin and the the drydown couldn't get better: it's the best I've ever tried. Better than Aventus? it's almost a yes to me. I'm having my Aventus bottles and flacon mature and we will see if they get better; meanwhile, from the fresh start, Emperor leads.

I have this and the extrait version. They are both extremely close, even better than Aventus. This EdP version has much better projection than the extrait but doesn't last as long. However, it still lasts longer and smells better than the current batches of Aventus. I've tried many of the others from Parfums Vintage but nothing beats this Emperor line, with this being the best of the bunch.

After reading so much negativity about the customer service of this brand it's only right I speak on my experiences I ordered my bottle amd received it in 3 days no messing around maybe it's because I'm in the UK but I thought I would say it... Now the emperor edp is a banger almost identical to aventus and to be honest I prefer it for some reason and the performance is immense 🔥

An inspiration worthy of its name. Much better than other Aventus clones out there. This one almost goes head-to-head with the original - it has more patchouli in the mid-notes, but the notes in the dry-down aren't as polished. Longevity and projection are on par with Aventus, and you won't feel guilty when over-spraying since it's only 1/4 the cost!

Opening does not smell like aventus, but 5 minutes later it will. Performance is pretty good, but you will go noseblind fast. If you like to smell your fragrances, avoid this. Aventus just has captive molecules that no other fragrance can copy. Still a good purchase though.

People saying the performance sucks are going noseblind as Emperor EDP easily lasts 10 hours plus. I first bought Emperor a couple of years ago as a beginner and it's still my dumb reach fragrance now as my collection has passed the 30 fragrance mark. Top stuff..

This is amazing! I own Creed Aventus and this out performs the real thing and smells almost identical to the real thing. Parfums Vintage has always been great with the Creed inspirations.

I can't justify purchasing another bottle of Aventus after owning Emperor. It is by far the most accurate representation of Aventus, and the performance blows Creed out of the water.

Whoever said this is not good is not right in the head, this is the absolute closest you can get to a creed aventus without owning a creed aventus

Wanted to update my previous review. After wearing a few times, this is actually better than my 2015 aventus . Strong buy imo

Emperor EDP is nothing like Club De Nuit Intense Man. Jeez some people

So after giving this one a couple more wears I can safely say that I have come around to this fragrance. I still do pick up on the "bug spray note" but it does not bother me nearly as much as before. I think the reason I was disappointed at first was that I was expecting it to be one-to-one with my aventus sample. When you spray the two side by side there is a noticeable difference but honestly, I can't say that I don't enjoy this fragrance. In the air the two are pretty much identical, I would doubt that an average street goer would be able to tell the difference between the two. Overall I am happy I own a bottle of Emperor Eau de Parfum but I will probably not purchase this one again. If I want Aventus in the future I will buy Aventus, if I want a clone I will most likely go with mont blanc explorer (even though it is even less similar to Aventus, I actually enjoy the designer feel to it). Opening: 8/10 Drydown: 7.3/10 Projection: 8.9/10 Longevity: 10/10 (projection and longevity are where this one shines the most) Uniqueness: Honestly I don't mind it being a clone of one of the most popular scents. A fragrance is a fragrance. TLDR: I enjoy the scent, just probably will not pick it up again in the future.

If I could have only one fragrance for the rest of my life at this point this would be it. This is excellent for every possible occasion 1. Casual Wear 2. Formal wear 3. Date night 4. Clubbing 5. Office/work This checks every box and it’s unique you won’t smell like everyone else. I will also say what should be obvious here. This IS what Creed Aventus used to be and it makes Creed Aventus pointless to buy today since it’s watered down. Period. No Aventus snob can prove otherwise. Wore this to work today and a woman chased me down to ask what I was wearing because my scent trail was that amazing. I have been given compliments when talking to someone that’s easy or if they are in the general area but I have never been chased down like what happened today. Projection is excellent and it last 12+ hours on my skin. If you are thinking about buying aventus don’t buy this.

I was wearing my sample of this today. I did get a compliment "You smell so good", followed by "It's Sauvage right?"... Feels bad. Regardless, I do think it smells pretty damn good. Better than CDNIM, L'Aventure, Rasasi Zebra, Supremacy Silver and Avenue. Sadly, it's hard for me to judge its performance, since I go nose blind to this so quickly. Comparing side by side to the Extrait, I personally think they smell pretty much the same. Maybe there are differences in performance, but then again, I can't reliably comment on that. Update: I smelled a recent batch of Aventus at a boutique and I have to say, this smells more like Aventus than the current Aventus does.

The best Aventus clone I've tried (the others being Armafs Club Di Nuit Intense Man and Insurrection Pure 2). Very close to the real thing, like 95%. Emporer EDP is a tiny bit sweeter than Aventus. It's a touch fruitier and smells heavier on the citrus, almost lemony. But overall it's the same great woody, citrusy, sparkling, slightly smokey vibe you'd get from a balanced batch of Aventus. The performance is also great. I've gotten compliments from 10 feet away. Longevity is around 8 hours. This is a great alternative to Aventus and one I find myself reaching for over Aventus sometimes (I go nose blind to Aventus very quickly, not the case with Emporer EDP).

Honestly I just can't get over the bugspray-esque note in this one. I have a sample of aventus and while there are some similarities I can confirm the fragrances are not one-to-one. If you're looking for an aventus clone I would shy away from this one since the price point is higher than other clones such as club de nuit or mont blanc explorer. 6/5/22 Update: going to give this one some more wear, also note the sample of aventus I own is most likely a 2019-2020 batch so no I don't have experience with the vintage aventus. Will update the thread in the next month or so.

First off, I'd like to mention that I've never smelled Aventus. To me this comes off as a musky mature pineapple scent best fit for spring and fall. When I mean mature, I mean you'd have to be atleast 35+ yrs old to wear this. The stuff just comes across too musky and woody to be worn by anyone under the age of 30. It's a really well-done scent, and the opening is just unreal. I could smell this stuff all the way across my house after just two sprays. However, 4-5 hours later it dries down to a skin-scent while retaining about the same notes.

I went in expecting greatness, and although it's good, it's not the jaw-droppingly amazing clone I had anticipated. Key faults I find with this fragrance when compared to (old) Aventus: No vanilla creaminess undertone, no smoke (it's woody yes, but not smoky) and lastly once it dries down there's this quite unpleasant note that I can't put my finger on (might be low quality ambergris) ... it just makes it smell a bit cheap which for a clone it ain't. I could forgive the first two issues I have, but not the third. It makes me not want to wear it because I know in about an hour and a half or two I'm going to want to scrub it off due to that horrible mystery note. Performance is decent at least, lasts a good 8 hours on skin with pretty good sillage but not too great projection past the first hour. There's also price to consider. With how much this goes for, in my honest opinion, if you want Aventus, just buy Aventus. Even though vintage Aventus is dead and nothing 1:1 replaces it, the higher quality in the real deal shows and it just smells better. But I'm going to go ahead and contradict myself by also saying you really shouldn't buy new bottles of Aventus. The lack of performance, the change in scent and the price tag are simply not worth it and Creed are scamming people at this point. There's plenty of other fragrances out there that you can spend your money on and smell just as good.

I purchased this product after reviewing PV web site and watching many reviews on Youtube. I was excited about the product and was happy to pay a premium for what was described as a premium product. I am very disappointed with the performance and projection of the product. At first i thought it was my skin. I tested it on another 2 people and found the same result. Very weak performance and longevity. Nothing like what is being reviewed on Youtube. I suspect this product has been reformulated as the performance is very very weak. Very overpriced for what it is today. Quality have have been great when the product was first released.

I got this fragrance about a month ago and to be honest I don't know where all these good reviews are coming from? maybe a got a bad batch but it smells super woody... I don't detect any pineapple or something else. Just woods no smoke or something similar!! So, at this point I don't know what to think, I even let it sit for about three weeks after the initial sprays but still smells the same with average performance for what they charged...good thing I only got a 50ml bottle. My advice... Don't go with high expectations because it can be a letdown like in my case.

Smells pretty good, but not good enough to compensate for the crappy customer service and pompous owner who thinks he's some kind of a dictator. The man is a jerk and would love to hear they've gone out of business.

I don’t mind clones, this however is no good. Save your money.

Put this on and aventus, a 2019 batch on together after I got home. I was out today and I was paid a very big compliment shortly after applying emperor. The cashier at the grocery store whispered to another worker, then said out loud that "someone smells so good." I deflected credit and give it to the other cashier, but the one helping me made a point of lifting her mask up to smell me and confirm, "no, its you, you smell incredible." So I wanted to give context to why i applied aventus on when i got home to truly compare. Emperor is nice but it is not aventus. It really has more in common with cdnim but not as smoky and a lot more expensive. TBH both versions of cdnim are superior. The review below is correct. As for comparing to aventus? It does not match the opening of aventus. Emperor is woodsy, somewhat bitter fruity. It does not develop either. The ambergris nor vanilla nor black currant ever show up. The opening of aventus is more rich, more complex, more well-rounded, and on and on i can go. Aventus dries down to smell similar to what emperor opens up as and stays at. Emperor is linear. It is also very expensive as it its extrait bretheren. Neither version of emperor last very long. They both smell nice but I will not purchase again. The pv clones worth owning IMO are king intense as well as vanilla intense. I will always own avantus becasue nothing truly gets close. It seems close until you apply side by side. And given the prices of parfums vintage, you can get a 100 ml bottle of the real thing for not much more, or get 100 ml decants from reputable facebook groups for much less. There is a beautiful vaniilla, almost creamy ambergris vein that runs through aventus that emperor nor extrait never tap into. If you never owned aventus and just bought emperor youd be very happy. But once you know, you know, and you cant "un-know it". I will not purchase any of the pv clones again. I have plenty of vanilla intense and king intense to last me forever as well as both cdnim versions. I bought almost all of the pv clones and only 2 really resonate with me. Thankful for the door pv openend to get me to aventus but once i found genuine purveyors of aventus on facebook it was game over.

Finally can give my review This is one of the best smelling scents ive ever smelt, bar none! You gotta let your bottle macerate, cant just take it out and spray it once then leave it. Give it weeks, months, and even years because its always going to get better, thats just how the Aventus DNA works. As for the scent, it's deep, dark, woody, and fruity all at the same time. This makes sense because it's modeled after vintage balanced Aventus batches. Mainly 2016 batches, but it could smell similar to some 15's as well. As for how close does this smells to Aventus? It's hard to say because Aventus has batch variations, and I've mostly tried 17s. Which usually have a lot more vanilla, depth, and pop off the skin more than Emperor. Aventus just has more oomph, that's the best way I can describe the difference between the two. Also, ambergris smells ever so slightly higher quality in Aventus, or maybe it's just more pronounced so I think it's higher quality. Again I'm comparing a new Emperor bottle to a 2017 Aventus batch, so maceration plays a big role. Who knows how my Emperor will smell in 2024 lol... But smell-wise, the emperor just smells better to me. Better than 17W11, 17T01, 17U01, and 19P11. Although 17W11 was a beast, and some days I do prefer it over Emperor. But I love the balance of Emperor, and I love the richness of Aventus. Before this, I owned CDNIM for two years when my bottle broke. So I got emperor EDP, and in two months Emperor EDP has gotten me more/better compliments than CDIM has ever gotten me in the past 3-5 years... So even though both are Aventus clones, there's levels to this shit. If you're expecting lots of smoke, you won't get that here, unless you're new to Aventus. If you're looking to get that 10-13 smoke, it's not here, it's really not in any line from Parfums Vintage. But if you are new to Aventus then this will come across as smoky, since there is enough birch here. It's just so well balanced. Its easily the best Parfums Vintage scent you can buy

This item cannot be praised enough. It's the cover-band to Aventus that rules them all, to me. Easily top 3 of the line and definitely in my top 5 colognes of all time, I cannot get enough of the citrus, zesty, musky, woody and how completely delicious and whole this fragrance really is. I literally cannot -- I've bought full bottles, traded for partials, and even showcase full bottles of this stuff in my stash against some of my other gems. To date, I have purchased more than 800ml of the EDP, with perhaps close to 1.5kml of Emperor (EDP + Extrait) since finding this item, and have 3 full bottles of either in my collection at all times. Emperor EDP and Extrait is/are my daily wear. This, Emperor Extrait, Emperor Galerius, Emperor Tiberius, and Emperor Aurelius Noir are all 9/10, A grade, full bottle worthy fragrances for any Aventus hobbyist who shakes a bit when spraying out he vintage 14, 15, 16 juices that will never be coming back. Parfums Vintage does a phenomenal job at recreating nostalgic experiences of the Aventus we all have come to know and remember, and it's my opinion that these items are the closest in the market doing just that. A solid 9/10 to me, is my daily driver, and considering nothing but vintage Aventus is 10/10 in my book, this is a well deserved 9/10. I highly suggest you get yourself a sample of this to try from their website, it's a gem.

Ollywholly has it correct - this is pretty much Aventus. Vanilla Intense or PV intense were obviously close to Aventus but were not close enough to be viable cheaper alternatives in my opinion. This is the best copy of Aventus out there, not only by Parfums Vintage but by anyone - and I have tried pretty much all of them. I can't talk about performance as I've only done a back of the hand test but 4 hrs on and it is obvious this not only has longevity but projection. I cannot imagine how strong the Extrait is! I've been critical of Parfums Vintage in the past however this, Rush of Unicorns and Exaltant Musc Intense are all absolute winners and viable alternatives for those seeking a more pocket friendly take on these niche fragrances. If PV have no batch issues with Emperor then the search may be over for those, like me, who are fed up with not knowing what Aventus they are getting. As a side note - this is close to 2015 Aventus - 15u11 is what I am comparing it to right now. Those who want earlier smokier batches may still be disappointed . But I am not - this is beautiful stuff. At time of writing this is £125 for 100mls whilst Aventus is £250 for 100mls.

I am the type of person always rotating my collection, trying to only keep no more than 8 fragrances in my collection at any one time. By doing so I constantly sell fragrances that I feel as though will not have a run for some time and replace with something else on the want list. This fragrance I have had since just after its release and have never come close to trading it or selling it. I am not a heavy sprayer but I will usually spray 2 times if I am going to the office or 3 times if I am going to a function / dinner of some sort. I usually receive compliments from this, in the elevator at work, at a cafe from the barista, in the work kitchen, while at my desk etc. Most recently I wore this to my gyms Christmas party and I was constantly being told how good I smell. In regards to the scent, I think it is top notch - nearly the perfect fragrance. The balancing act of mixing sweet fruit with earthy tones has without a doubt been achieved. I guess I need to decide soon if I replace this bottle or go with the extrait version next.

This is nice but not better than any of the Aventus batches (no pinkberries, no oakmoss, blackcurrant replaced by juniper berries and ambergris aren't Creed's grade). Does not have the same performance either: while it lasts on my skin for ~ 7-10 hours, it becomes almost skin scent in the middle and if you have real Aventus (mine is 2016 and 2018), it does not have the same quality (even though it is still niche fragrance quality nevertheless) and you might be better off buying current batch of the real thing. This smells closer to Versace Dylan Blue mixed with Aventus really!!! Disappointed with this brand although this is the best clone they have (which is to say the others are worse)! All "positive" reviews you see on you tube are of those who received free bottles of it. Try finding one positive review from someone who actually bought it with their own money and you will be surprised how few of those they have! :)

Some of these reviews remind me of the study done with wine connoisseurs blind testing expensive vs cheap wines. Lo and behold, they couldn't distinguish differences well. This is quite honestly the best clone of Aventus. Better in some ways than Aventus. Aventus has the better, more "natural" smelling opening that is just brighter. Emperor is just "juicier" if you will. Aventus slightly smokier, emperor more "woody" than "smokey." Without nitpicking those minute nuances, they smell almost identical down to dry down. It basically boils down to: Emperor is more fruity, better projecting, and longer lasting compared to modern Aventus at lower prices. It's an easy choice for me. (Anyone saying this smells "synthetic" I question their bias or is being dishonest. ̄_(ツ)_/ ̄ This is not CDNIM. Got to say I fell for the hype and got a 50ml bottle. It's the worst smelling Aventus clone I have smelled. It literally smells like scented water and it lasts five minutes on your skin before it's gone. Do you remember the intense sparkling pineapple note in Aventus, well here it smells very flat and is gone within five seconds or so. Even the reformulated Armaf Club de Nuit Intense with it's smoke and flat pineapple on the back end is way better than this. Next to the Parfums Vintage Emperor the Armaf smells like a masterpiece. The hype for this was unreal, if you sprayed one spray of the armaf CdNI into some water mixed it up. You would probably get a better smell and performance. What a let down!........ yeah I know I blame myself.

I don't really get this house, most of their offerings smell the same, and they're expensive. Emperor (like everything else from this house)does"sorta" smell like Aventus - but that's about it. They say this is supposed to resemble a balanced batch but it really doesn't. I get mostly black currant and faint pineapple in the opening and the dry down is your typical PV birch dry down. There's just something lacking in all of their fragrances, I don't know what it is, but I can't help but sense it. The only solid ones I've tried so far are King and Noir. But to me those are so entirely different from Aventus that calling them a clone doesn't do them any justice. Overall, I would skip this and get the real stuff from discounters.

Absolutely addicted to the amped up and hyper-realistic pineapple found here. I don't know how newer "batches" are, as I have an older bottle. I am NOT a fan of clones; like, at all. That said...this is just great. It's amazing to have the Aventus DNA with a juicy pineapple front and center. As always, try before you buy, but if you like Aventus, I can't imagine you not loving this. Longevity is great as well. I have smelled and own many batch/years of Aventus, and there are many times where I'll reach for this. On a differnt planet when compared to CDNIM and other chemical nightmares. This is well balanced with ZERO harsh, chemical, or the old "just wait 20 minutes, then the magic happens" with other clones of this DNA.

Great Aventus clone. There is a weird note present though. I can't quite put my nose on it, but it's kind of like Raid bugspray or the smell of a mosquito plant (citronella). I tend to quickly become anosmatic to all the other notes, and that's all I can smell. I do not have the same issue with Creed's original Aventus or other clones like Club Du Nuit Intense Man. I do find this to be present in all of the various Aventus clones that Parfums Vintage has, but all to varying degrees. My family and friends agree once I point it out to them. Not sure if you guys have had a similar experience, but I do hope this gets addressed with future iterations.

I question anyone who says this is indistinguishable from Aventus. It does smell good, and is probably ~90% similar depending on batches (which is a whole nother story) but in a side-by-side comparison it is immediately obvious which is which. Emperor has quite a sharp and synthetic smelling aspect to it which slowly fades away over time, which is an instant giveaway to my nose. Both my ~2016 and 2018 Aventus batches smell more natural, however I can't comment on Emperor's performance just yet as this is my first time wearing it.

I've bought the pineapple vintage range emperor and boy I gotta say, this thing is somethin else. Put this thing on the night I went out to eat with ma girl, and I was so surprise to realize that after about 12 hours, people in ma office can still smell the fragrance. Yeah that's how long this thing lasted, and I've loving it so far. Although I do have to let people know that it does have a strong and spicy smell at the beginning, you gotta let it sit for a little before it starts smelling soft. However, overall, good stuff.

True this is an Aventus clone, but not the one I am looking for. On my skin its too smokey. It does not have enough of the sweet pineapple that is signature note in Aventus. What is Aventus without that smoky pineapple? I have experienced clones that have smokey apple, but that is not why I liked Aventus. My last bottle of Aventus I gave away as a gift because it was mainly smokey apple. Emperor does have some smokey pineapple initially, but its not the right balance IMO. I like Emperor Extrait alot more.
