Amber Oud

#748 in my "Tour de Fragrance" My fifth and so far favorite scent from Ministry of Oud. One more to go. This immediately put me in mind of two of my all-time favorites, Roja Dove Amber Oud and Maison De Darius "Notorieta." Not as sweet as Notorieta, but otherwise same fruity, ambery vibe with this being just a hair short of gourmand. They really threw in the kitchen sink on this one, so if you can't find something to like here I don't know what to tell you. If you go easy you can probably wear this is in most any setting, but I will definitely try this out on a romantic interest. And again, you can't beat the price on this stuff.

The longevity on this one is beastly. I applied it twice in my elbow at around 11pm. At 11am the next morning - after a shower, mind you - the scent was still STRONG.

Very lovely clean soapy oud rose with amber at the background

This is a lovely oud rose, the amber shines trough and there is a hint of soapyness. Id say it is a unisex fragrance for sure, very clean and slightly addictive. I cant stop smelling my wrist haha. This scent reminds me of fragrant soaps my relatives used to put in-between towels and linens in the cupboard, in the best way possible.

Metallic citrus rose scent, shades of oud and ambergris emerge on the drydown. It's oddly refreshing and leans dry as it settles down. You could definitely get away with this profile in warmer months of spring & autumn. Doesn't project loudly, sits just above the skin.

I really enjoyed this 😁😁😁 Was not disappointed with the scent profile wished it projected more though I get scent bubbles around the 6th hour mark. The dry down has a way of putting me in a very good mood wore this to bed for the first week I received it.

Opening is really strong, maybe a little too strong for me but the dry down is lovely. Rather ok for it's price. Overall, a solid 7.

I love Oud Royal and Thailand Oud in Cairo, I like Oud Indonesian, but smell of Amber Oud seems not for me. Smells like a laboratory with dangerous chemicals, or like something was spoiled and later dried

Once upon a time, circa (2020/2021) the original formulation with the printed screen label, was a 99% clone of the real deal. Then came the strangers unpersoned the perfumer, replaced him with a generic, then added salt on the open wound, they replaced the printed label with a thick tacky label announcing the end of an era. The few subjects of the 2020 Ministry of Love Amber Oud experiment, sprayed the cheap perfect clone...which got them expensive pretty lovers, they pillow talked them into prostitution/politics so they can afford the real Roja Dove Amber Aoud percieux $5000 one ounce bottle Of course I have no proof, because the old formulation is almost impossible to find

Just smells like Amber and Oud as the name suggests but very animalic and metallic. Not my cup of tea.

Supposedly a dupe of amber aoud by roja dove, so I had to try it as amber aoud is one of my favourite scents. This is nowhere close to it, and I wouldn’t recognize this as a dupe of it whatsoever. The two smell nothing alike, and to me this is along the same line as lattafa kamrah which just smells like any dollar store wacky perfume. Not a fan at all, and I am still far from convinced that dupes are worth it. 2/10 (if considered a dupe of amber aoud) 4/10 as a scent of it’s own.

Opening is rather metallic citrussy but not offensive But the oud is not skanky, so that is fine. I dont think anyone would mind it except if they hate oud :) Performance is bad on my skin :( Price in Denmark 175kr/25$ 5/10

Awful awful, opens with a very syntethic rose oud style, that you wish vanished after 1 second, the drydown is better as its a hint of lemon with dry amber scent.. but not worth, avoid this

It seems inspired by Roja Amber Aoud and if you would like the same scent profile for 1-2 hours then this does the job. Shukran Habibi!
