Chocolait

At first this was literally just blanche bete, lactea divina, etc. Just creamy milk. I got NONE of the pepper, smoke, cacao, oud, etc. I was sooo upset because I already have both of those fragrances. Other people were getting it though so I let her rest for 2 months or maybe a Lil less. Just tried it again today and omggggg yessss. I'm getting a smoky, creamy, milky, slightly sweet scent that is so cozy yet sexy. I'm not getting apple, but I think thats what's making it a little sweet and less linear. I have really high hopes this will get even better by the time fall comes around. The cold weather will really make this scent bloom. I'd say that a man could even wear this confidently. Im wondering what in the hell is making it smell creamy and milky though? Total mystery because it's very clearly something in the base. If you're unimpressed at first let it sit. I'd cop it now for fall so it's ready to go.

When I first smelled Chocolait I was puzzled. I smelled something dark, harsh and sketchy, like old dry fruits forgotten in a drawer together with some spices and cocoa powder. Two days later I came back again to it and this time I could smell a beautiful creamy cocoa based fragrance stroked by a sweet peppery spice note like nutmeg or cinnamon, or both. The opening may be a little heavy on spices but fastly the creamy cocoa starts taking place and it gets completely balanced. I felt in love with it. I don't get why I didn't like it in the first place since it's a very complex and beautiful perfume. Very uncommon. I don't know what OG inspired CL but she must be very interesting as well. Performance is great, longevity is about 6 hours and sillage is not disappointing at all.

Been waiting for this ever since it debuted at the Dubai Beauty World Exhibition last month and had the privilege to test it out before the rest of the world. Now I finally got my hands on my own bottle and it smells just as amazing as that day. Warm and Spicy with the slightest sprinkle of something sweet :chefs kiss:

This is not at all what I expected! I am not one to judge on appearance, but in this case I admit that I did, and was fully expecting sweet, sugary, gourmand indulgence, which is a scent profile that I just do NOT get on with. But I was so wrong. On initial spray, this blend of green crunchy apple, powdery cocoa and definitely orris come through to me, followed by a musky oud as it starts to settle. the oud and woody notes continue to develop with a light creaminess and almost floral sweetness in the dry down, its very unique to me, it doesnt sit similarly to any other scent I've tried recently. If I could say one thing about this above anything else, its not to jump to conclusions based on the appearance, I am absolutely not a gourmand/pink sugar person and yet, I fear I am kind of loving this

I bought this one completely blind, I did not even read the fragrance notes. I took a chance thinking it was a sweet gourmand since many houses are making so many gourmand collections at this time. The lavender bottle with pink and the name Chocolait completely fooled me. Nope, not a sweet creamy chocolaty fragrance, just very spicy, warm, deep and woody. I'm not a big oud and incense fan but I'll let it mature a bit and test it again in a few weeks, maybe it will grow on me. I don't hate it; just not what I expected.

To my nose, which isn’t always fully working, so don’t really trust this review, it’s a skin scent. It’s not overly dramatic, and truthfully, it doesn’t smell like choco lait. It’s pleasant, soft, safe and unisex.

A friend of mine sent me a decant and honestly was not expecting it to smell like it does, but it smells so good! Smoky ambery cocoa. A very grown up gourmand. Think I might have to buy a full bottle eventually.

First impressions: on me it starts off strange but quickly dries down into a more wearable Blanche Bete/Lactea Divina. Sweeter, not as dense and overall more fun to use. No cocoa and negligible oud.

I knew this wouldn't smell like chocolate because of the Kayali Oudgasm Choco Oud comparisons but this is straight up just an ambery oud opening with a slightly sweet, very boozy woody base that has a drop of Angel's Share dna. Why do these perfume houses give their perfumes the most gourmand sounding names and fill it up with juice that couldn't be farther from the truth. 🤡

Oh wow I was VERY disappointed in this one I’m not impressed to my nose this smells like smoking hot by kilian and Mashrabya it’s very apple forward and smoky woody it’s NOTHING like angel share I don’t get that vibe at all. In Chocolait it has a rotten fruity apple scent I don’t like this at all it’s not wearable to me

I absolutely hated this on me, the balsamic was overwhelming, the pepper was strong and the apple, I felt like I'd been dipped in salad dressing. Bottle and packaging is very misleading. It made me feel sick and I had to wash it off. Won't be wearing it again.

Why would you call this chocolait if it isnt milky chocolate though😔 That would have been a sure buy.
