Dulzura Vanilla Envie

Blind bought this, first impressions smells very close to Vanilla powder which i had and decluttered. I have not smelled Fantasmagory so can’t comment on that aspect. I really like it, vanilla powder gives me a headache & burns my nostrils....this however does not, it’s super strong though not a skin scent on me. So far i really like it! Will report back. Edit 05/27/2026 - fluffy vanilla (not in a gourmand way) with a strong sandalwood base. It still reminds me of vanilla powder but a more digestible & enjoyable take. I like it a lot, also it has nothing to do with the original delzura. Successful blind buy!

This is the toned down and elevated version of Badgley Mischka Vanilla Fleur (easily found at Burlington, TJ Max, etc). BM Vanilla Fleur is really sharp and the Jungle Lily note gives a ginger note that doesn't go away. The dry down of Vanilla Fleur is still slightly sharp but the vanilla takes over more softeningit a little. PC Vanilla Envie is the dry down of it without the sharp ginger note. Its very pleasant and has a soft green and vanilla powdery scent. If anyone has Vanilla Fleur, please comment if you think it's the softer version of it also.

I've never smelled the Inspiration for this but the notes are pretty spot on. In fact I don't get much ginger i do think I get a little anise but on me this is a very light floral vanilla. It didn't get powdery just smells like really good skin. If you like intimate scents this is good. I find this very comforting and like to use it before bed or to layer. On me it lasts but it's very much a skin scent. So if you like light airy scents that sit close or just want comfort before you sleep i can see one really liking this.

This is a light, almond-vanilla cream scent with soft spice from the anise. It’s the perfect creamy spiced vanilla scent for fall, I’m loving it! It’s not too heavy or gourmand, not cloying. I’ve never smelled Fantasmagory and doesn’t remind me of Hypnotic Poison or Vanilla Powder though (the latter which I don’t like) but this is very pleasant! I love an anise note though.

Love the scent, a lovely airy vanilla that drys into a nice skin scent. It's not a shouter, its more of a whisperer scent. AlShes perfect though in warmer weather as thick vanillas can get overpowering in the heat. I do not get the comparison to the vanilla powder as this has no coconut and goes in a slight floral/musk direction

I love this! It's a fluffy, summer friendly, soft and dreamy Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar. I don't have the OG Dulzura because I have the OG Le Parfum and a couple other dupes so I wasn't super interested. I bought this out of pure curiosity and I'm so glad I did.

I don't know what the inspiration smells like. I do know that this is very pretty. Very soft girl vanilla vibes. No, it does not smell like vanilla voyage, eclaire, or any other bianco latte inspiration.

I’m obsessed! A soft, spicy vanilla with powdery touch. Nowhere close to vanilla powder so don’t get it expecting VP! It’s airy and so well made! An affordable gem!

I love it, Its fresh and different. I'm so new to this that I'm still not good at identifying notes, but really want to try the origional now.

I've had this one for about a month now and it is starting to grow on me. At first it was very weak and watery vanilla with anise, but after sitting a few weeks it has definitely gotten better. Now I am able to pick up a touch of almond-y warmth, the freesia, still the anise, soft musk, and then clean, cozy vanilla and amber. I have not smelled the og Fantasmagory but I think, based on my other experiences with Arabic dupes, this fragrance is probably a more gentle and work environment friendly version. I see this scent as more of an early spring or fall type fragrance.

I like it but I do not love it . It does last on clothes for hours, on skin not so much. Very similar to Fursan White by Khadlaj which I sold because it was giving me a headache. Unfortunately this one is also giving me a headache after 30 minutes of wearing it. Really wonder what is causing it, maybe the anise note. Or the combination of anise and almond together smells very dry. I will give it another week and if it won’t improve, will declutter❌

Soft powdery vanilla with light florals. Don't really get any licorice/anis but I'll see how it develops.

This is very spicy, the anise in this reminds me of pool cleaning products somehow. This on the skin reminds me of when i was 10 years old with red eyes and wrinkly fingers because i spent the entire day on the pool swimming in chemicals. Its not bad, but it evoked that feeling on me. Still, i would wear this in a hot summer day with light clothes. I dont see why people are comparing with vanilla powder, I get zero coconut in this (thankfully), which is the reason I deslike that one.

This reminds me of Avon skin so soft. It’s nostalgic and nice but was not what I was expecting from those notes. It’s OK just only a like and not a love.

You really have to LOVE the smell of anise/licorice to enjoy this one. For me, it was borderline offensive. The opening comes across medicinal, synthetic, and oddly waxy. Thankfully, the dry down is better than the initial spray, but even then it never quite won me over. There's also something in here that reminds me of opening a fresh box of Crayola crayons, and once I noticed it, I couldn't un-smell it. I absolutely loved the OG Dulzura, so this one was a disappointment. And while I can kind of understand why people compare it to Vanilla Powder or Queen of Arabia, I don't think it's a dupe for either of them. There are some vague similarities in the overall vibe, but they smell distinctly different to my nose.

Just no too much hype on internet disappointing

This is a very light, intimate skin scent—perfect for an easy reach when you aren't sure what to wear but still want a clean profile. While the blend is smooth and nothing is overpowering, the composition lacks a distinct 'star' note. Since I own the OG Dulzura, I was hoping for the same projection and 'wow factor,' but this flanker falls short in performance. As I sit with it on my hand, I had to hit the atomizer about six times in the same spot just to get the full effect and to detect the scent without having my nose pressed against my skin. Even after a heavy application, the sillage is nearly non-existent. If you prefer a 'your skin but better' vibe, this is a safe pick. However, if you want a fragrance that leaves a trail or has beast mode performance, this isn't it. It’s a safe blind buy, but a bit of a letdown if you’re a fan of the original’s DNA. I’m hoping some maceration will help it develop more depth over time.

If you are between this and queen of arabia, I would steer you toward that one as they smell pretty close but dulzura vanilla envie does not last at all. It's light and airy, blooms a lot in the air when you first apply but has 0 longevity. Also find the scent feels shallow and lacking complexity compared to queen of arabia. Potentially this will change as it matures but I have had queen of arabia about the same amount of time and it smells like a well rounded, fully fledged fragrance. This is giving body spray. The bottle is gorgeous on dulzura vanilla envie though and I hope Paris Corner keeps using it. That being said, it has nothing to do with the original dulzura except the bottle is the same just with different colors.

I'm not sure I particularly like the Almond & Anise Combination in Dulzura Vanilla Envie; a bit of an overkill for me mehn because that spicy Anise (bordering towards curry or cinnamon) was too much especially in the opening and even hours later. But the Drydown is where this shines. Goodness this is creamy Powdery decadent Vanilla with lots of White florals and a sprinkle of Amber lol. Longevity is soo good. Hours unend. The Drydown is Magic.

I absolutely don't get the comparison to Vanilla Powder and it's dupes. This is very powdery, fluffy, but fresh and it definitely opens with a lot of anise. I haven't tried Louise Vouttion fragrance which this is apparently a close dupe of, so can't compare. But this slightly reminds me of Phlur Vanilla Powder but with the amber being swapped for anise.

I have the "regular" Dulzura and I love it, I get a lot of compliments, and now I really want this one too. Because of that stupid TikTok, everything sells out quickly or the price shoots up ridiculously high. I think I just need to be patient, no matter how difficult it may be. 🤞
