Dulzura

Dulzura surprised me in the best way. The opening is soft, sweet and immediately edible. The first thing I get is a warm vanilla cake vibe with a smooth drizzle of caramel on top. It’s sweet, but not heavy or overwhelming. There’s a tiny airy quality that keeps it from becoming too dense, so it feels more “wearable dessert” than a thick winter scent. As it settles, the perfume becomes creamier and rounder. The caramel blends beautifully with the vanilla and creates a cozy, delicious aura—like freshly baked cake cooling on the counter. I was worried about the black pepper note, but honestly I didn’t get anything spicy at all. No popcorn either. Just a very balanced, soft gourmand sweetness. Compared to perfumes like Tiramisu S’mores, Dulzura is lighter, smoother, and more versatile. It has that same edible sweetness, but without the heavy chocolate or biscuit notes. If Tiramisu S’mores is a winter dessert, Dulzura is the everyday vanilla cake you can actually wear in warm weather. It’s comforting, creamy, and very feminine. The projection is moderate and the longevity is great on my skin. It lasts hours without feeling suffocating. Overall, Dulzura is a delicious, cozy vanilla–caramel scent that feels balanced and easy to wear. If you love edible gourmands but want something lighter and more elegant, this is a beautiful option. I own both Dulzura and Tiramisu S’mores, and honestly, for me it feels necessary to have both in my collection. They are different in scent, but they definitely share the same cozy, edible vibe. It’s like they belong to the same dessert family, but each has its own personality — which makes them perfect to rotate as signature scents in different weathers.

Wow this is incredibly close to Cirque du Soleil. Like 99%. I own both frags now. Its one of the closest dupes of an OG that I've ever smelled. I haven't tested its longevity yet and how it fully dries down but I'm in the process of comparing the 2 frags right now. I own Cirque, and adore it, but have a number of family members that also love it and want me to decant my bottle as they dont want to spend the excessive money on a bottle...😡...so naturally I'm hunting for a good dupe that will satisfy their demands and save my precious Cirque. The notes break down of Dulzura don't quite make sense like Cirques do. The cake and black pepper? Nah thats not what I'm smelling. The strong butter popcorn is there just like in Cirque, and even the candy floss. I don't care though. This is amazing and I'm chuffed that it's available in Australia. This fragrance, just like Cirque du Soleil, makes me think of a circus. Its gorgeous. 😍 24 hrs later; ok so after wearing it for the last day, getting a good idea of its dry down and lasting power, I'd say 96% similar to Cirque du Soleil. Its very close. It has longer lasting power than Cirque certainly. I think around 5 or 6 hours for my skin. Cirque might last 3 or 4? This is still just as beautiful as Cirque. It just looses the buttery popcorn notes quicker than Cirque and is a little more ambery and less sweet in the dry down. Sillage is a good couple meters in those first few hours then down to a skin scent. My bottle is fresh off the manufacturers block too so I'm excited to see how it goes after a little maturing. What a fabulous buy 😍

So I own(ed) what this perfume is duping. I LOVE cirque, it is absolutely a gourmond/vanilla dream. It changes, its lovely. I was scared getting the dupe because owning enough niche brand name fragrances and the dupes, especially middle eastern houses. There is usually a few key things missing. It's either a hit or a miss. This was a hit. Those that say it smells very peppery, it does in the first spray, as the middle eastern dupes do. You NEED to let it sit before you go on about how this disappoints you. Luckily I got a batch that sat in Vancouver for a week before delivering to me, because I sprayed it, it was peppery. Then the next day I thought I would try it. I can barely tell the difference between this and cirque. Cirque is light, buttery, apple, with a cakey vanilla dry down. But its so light. It lasts maybe 2 hours on the skin. It doesn't project and I needed that with such a beautiful fragrance and a hefty price tag. This is all that I needed, it has a bit more of a spun sugar twist, but ill layer it with JPG absolou for a more coconutty and less sugary sweet hit but this on its own is also very beautiful. I can't speak to longevity or projection, im about 2 hours into the wear and I can still catch whiffs of it. It will need to sit as they all do to become truly what they are meant to be. It is extremely similar, and truly so delicious and delectable. Love the bottle too, so elegant! 9/10 for sure

I own both and I'm not going to compare except to say the opening has some similarities for sure. But Cirque is extremely well done. Not saying this isn't if you have Cirque and you have this you know what I'm talking about. But I love Dulzura as well it's an excellent scent. The cake note is so unique because I think maybe it's a fruity cake other times I think just a vanilla cake with butter milk. The pepper makes this more aromatic. And as this macerates it gets stronger. My juice is darker and this lasts way longer than Cirque that's one area I can compare. I love the dry down of this I mainly get a vanilla and musk. I'm not picking up on too much amber at all. The whipped cream makes it a touch sweeter smelling. It's really a great scent. I do recommend letting this macerate it gets so much stronger and longer lasting. I occasionally will spray my delicious cotton candy down first. Than this for a more carnival vibe. It goes really well with it. This is a great fragrance for the money and it's really well done. If it isn't I recommend putting it in a time out. Letting mine sit really made it super yummy much more smooth too.

I feel that you will either love or hate this fragrance, and I LOVE it. I am a gourmand girl through and through, and this has been my favorite one to wear as of recently. I am constantly reaching for it; some days I have to force myself to give my other perfumes some attention. I can totally see why some might not like it and think it is cloyingly sweet, especially in warmer environments. It is similar to Cirque Du Soleil; however, it is not a direct 1:1. I would give it about an 90% similarity. I find that Cirque Du Soleil projects a little less and is a bit more subtle with the sweetness. Basically, it has a softer finish once it sits on your skin for a bit and gets to the base notes. Still amazing, but quite pricey, so since this one is a pretty close comparison, I'll continue to repurchase until/if I ever decide to splurge on a full-size Cirque Du Soleil bottle.

This one is VERY close to the Cirque de Soleil one. I got a sample of that one and knew I needed it immediately but without the $195 price tag, so I tried this. It opens with a cake, candied apple, cotton candy vibe and then it smooths down with an ambery vanilla, but that cake/cotton candy note does last throughout. At first, it lasts maybe an hour. I sprayed myself a bunch of times trying to get that delicious opening, but as I let the fragrance sit on my shelf, it got richer and now lasts longer. I can get about 4-5 hours with no layering (lotion, body oils, etc.), longer if I layer. It is indeed very sweet. I am not normally a gourmand lover but this one might have changed that. I am going to buy a second bottle to just let it sit and see what happens, if it lasts longer.

Love at first sniff! I got it because I heard it smelt similar to Empire Victor which I like alot. My opinion now I have smelt it is that there is indeed something of Empire Victor in here, but it is layered with so much more deliciousness so it is not a one to one of that. This really does smell like a funfair! Caramel apple, strawberry softserve, cotton candy, popcorn, cake dream! A gourmand lovers dream indeed, it almost feels like several different aspects of my favourite gourmands coming together. I also love that it is not as full on popcorn as Molten Caramel which I also love and it is also a gourmand lover's dream, but sometimes that can be overpowering and almost too much, not the best daily driver. This is just good chill vibes and nostalgicly exciting.

What are people smelling in here? Honestly to say this is overly sweet is an overstatement and a nervst exaggeration. I think it’s exactly like Cirque du Soleil ☀️ just add a tad of pink peppercorn in the opening and in the nicest possible way. The dry down is copy and paste. It is very delicate, airy and on my skin it’s not fluffy at all. This is not a milky fragrance and it’s like buttery popcorn mixed together with cotton candy and apple. It’s actually so light, that it will go sit in my closet for a while and see if the projection improves. I didn’t know Paris Corner would be so fast and accurate in creating the dupe for Cirque du Soleil because you guys, THIS IS IT. Again: Are we smelling the same fragrance?

This is so gorgeous and the longevity is crazy. I put it on yesterday morning and i still get delicious wiffs of it this morning. It really has a festive going to the circus air about it. A mix of popcorn and caramel/chocolate (a bit fruity cotton candy/apple sponge cake in the opening but that goes away in 5 min) Not overly sweet at all, done in a more sophisticated powdery dry way. Maybe its the black peppar that cuts the sweetness and balances it perfectly. Also a tiny bit smokey in the drydown but not overly so, just like smoke in the distance, maybe the circus director smoking his cigar in the wing :) I can hear the happy calliope in my head when i smell this. In fact it should have been called Calliope😅

This smells so edible and like cake. At first you get a pop-corn like scent, I guess the pepper gives the pop corn-salty like vibe. Also I don’t know how to describe it but it smells like wet? Like a sweet cake moistened by the buttermilk. I really like this scent and actually it doesn’t project a lot but sometimes I can still smell it on my skin or clothes when I come back from work. It makes me want to smell myself. You smell good and edible like cake in the best way possible. It’s not cloying at all and I would say it’s not too sweet either, not offensive at all. If you like gourmand and lattafa’s eclaire I would say this is a good choice.

Didn’t need any maceration for me, personally it was perfect right out of the box. I’ve had this for a month now & it’s so cozy, perfect for people who are just getting into gourmand's. It’s not sickly sweet or reminds me of any food, but it’s not too “perfume-y” either. All the notes are very well balanced - no screechiness or sourness or any type of synthetic note. This could be repackaged and sold for soo much more hehe but i’m glad it’s not. It’s airy and fluffy at the same time & super versatile. The pepper note definitely scared me when i read the notes but seriously it deserves a sniff. Edit- lasts extremely long on clothes and hair

This started out kind of stuffy, with an artificial cake-candle-type smell; I was really ready to hate. Once I let it all properly settle down on the skin...it was just absolutely INCREDIBLE! Never almost black listed a fragrance, then was head for heels for it within a 10 minute span. The definition of a non linear fragrance, materialized. I haven't gotten my nose on the Cirque perfume, so I cant report their resemblance, but this does come off a bit familiar to something. I adore Snif, but detest their release ‘Hotcakes.’ My partner and I agree, Dulzura smells like the best facets of it somehow all perfectly bottled up. 🥰

This was a blind buy, as the notes intrigued me, aswell as the mixed reviews. To me, I initially get a fleeting caramel popcorn note, this only lasts 2 minutes, then the SWEET marshmallow/ candy and creamy vanilla. It smells like you walked into a candy shop and I love it. It is not for the faint hearted and you would have to LOVE sweet, creamy fragrances to enjoy this. This is by far, the sweetest perfume, I have ever smelled. Its not a fragrance, I would wear everyday, but it is special, whimsical and I will wear it in the winter, when I need to be swept away, to a magical fairy land.

This isn’t airy to me! It’s thick and sweet. Less a sponge cake and more a buttermilk pancake batter with heaps of maple syrup. I haven’t smelled the cirque dupe so not comment there. There’s a subtle fruit, maybe some berry compote type syrupy fruit. It’s a delicious gourmand, but I do not get popcorn, candy apple, or whatever else people are saying in comparison to the cirque one. I love it - but it is a realistic gourmand, not a perfumery gourmand. If you like “sophisticated” twists on food like frags, this is not for you.

This is a love! just got it today, but I can already tell I’m gonna love it. It’s stronger and better sillage than the OG. I will use it in layering with the OG, and to use with other perfumes too, but it seems like it’s gonna be awesome on its own also. It has a slight smokiness , which adds positively to the fragrance! Edit; This is great,,smells about 90-95 % to the OG with better longevity. I can barely smell the OG 5 minutes after spraying so it’s hard to be accurate,,lol. The price of the OG is a obscene rip off to me.

It’s amazing! It smells exactly like Cirque du Soleil. There’s a popcorn note in the opening but it’s in a very buttery way. I’m usually not a fan of popcorn notes but i really like it in this fragrance because it stays soft. It does have similarities with Empire Victor, soecially in the dry down where you get that very soft yummy creamy gourmand vanilla. Must buy for a gourmand lover! Longevity is also good, i can smell on clothes all day and even after 2-3 says when i take the clothes from the basket to get washed.

Okay, this is a really good gourmand. I’ve been trying to find a perfume that’s just straight up gourmand without any citrus or fruity notes getting in the way of that creamy, buttery smell, and this is exactly it. It smells like buttery popcorn with a bit of soft musky powderiness. I haven’t actually worn it yet. I only sprayed it on a test strip and I loved it right away. It’s still summer, so I’ll probably let it sit for a bit and wear it in the fall. I feel like that’s when it’s really going to shine.💕

Love at first sniff! I have never smell Cirque, but to me This reminds me like a fair. I can smell salty-sweet popcorn in the opening (then this note goes down a bit), cotton Candy, Caramel apple and cake. Its a gourmand perfume but very wereable in my opinion. Very soft and sweet. I wish it last longer and proyects more, i think its a very intimate perfume but i'm enjoying a lot! I can't stop wearing it. Hope it gets stronger and more potent when it macerates. (it last on me only 3-5h)

I’ve never smelled the OG (Cirque de Soleil), but oh my goodness, this is so delicious! If you are a Disney World goer, I find this nearly identical to the smell of Main Street USA. Confectionary, caramelized, cakey, sugary happy vibes. I think the buttermilk is what mimics the popcorn in the original, but tbh it fades pretty quick I get more of a caramel cakey profile like tres leches! Not syrupy or too synthetic either omg so happy I got this for fall :)

Fell in love with this scent right out of the box! It smells like vanilla ice cream from the ice cream van, vanilla cake, just yummy vanilla 😋 luckily I don’t really get the pepper note. It’s lightweight and not too overbearing like some gourmands. One of my new top faves! Also, the bottle is soooo pretty 😍💗 I do get the empire victor comparison, only because this one has the same fluffiness and airy vibe. Lmk any good layering combos for this one 🤩
