Emir Cedrat Essence

Yep... This is Cedrat Boise Intense. People are comparing this to the non-Intense version, but I don't think that's right. This is a very well blended balance of the citrus and aromatics and I find it actually projects better than Mancera's version. I read another review saying this doesn't have CB's 'fizziness', but it's VERY apparent to me, so not sure if there are inconsistencies with certain batches. This will definitely be in my summer hot weather rotation, for sure. I don't really think there's a reason to own Mancera's version if you have this, but theirs isn't that expensive to begin with, so if you prefer the non-Intense Cedrat Boise, perhaps consider that instead? UPDATE: Having spent more time with this and the OG CBI, I like this better. The woody drydown of CBI is toned down here so you get that effervescent fruitiness from the opening throughout the duration which I LOVE. This gives it a more unisex lean, where CBI kind of leans more masculine. Definitely wanna try more of the Mancera clones after this. UPDATE #2: After more than haalf a year macerating some more, this has developed a lactonic profile somehow. It’s hovering around the scent profile of a mango lassi or pineapple yogurt?? I mean, I like how it smells, but the sweetness it developed is a bit unexpected. Im not so sure I’d still consider this a summer scent as I imagine it can get cloying. Im actually LESS likely to wear it on it’s own now, and will probably only layer it with something woody, with something vetiver or hay-forward.

Emir Cedrat Essence by Paris Corner was, for me, a disappointment. The scent comes across as too artificial—almost harshly synthetic, and I doubt that letting it “mature” will make any difference. Longevity is only average, adding little to redeem the overall impression. Apart from the attractive bottle, this fragrance simply doesn’t deliver; for me it remains one of the weaker offerings from the house. Bought this before I knew it was supposed to be a clone of anything, so I went into it clueless (as I do with many things). It’s a very fresh, slightly dry and extremely clean citrus opening, with a touch of something sweet in the background. As it dries down, you start to lose the citrus and gain some very light woods and musk, and a hint of leather. Nothing funky, nothing harsh; deeply clean, fresh, and really nice without smelling like every other clean, fresh scent. I wish it lasted a touch longer on me, but that’s my skin more than the fragrance. This smells fabulous, and I will never *not* have a bottle!

I'm not sure about it being a Cedrat Boise clone, but it is definitely a Cedrat Boise INTENSE clone. All these people are crapping on this one. But RIGHT NOW as I am writing this review, I have Cedrat Boise INTENSE sprayed on one arm and Essence Cedrat on the other and they are virtually IDENTICAL. The differences are so minute that I am asking myself why do I even need both. I'll have zero issue selling the Mancera because everyone wants this one, but don't pass up Emir Essence Cedrat if you enjoy Cedrat Boise INTENSE. It's just a really great clone, and really great for hot summer days. Love it

A much improved interpretation of Cedrat Boise. The leather is fresh and clean instead of musty and old. The cigarette ash tray note is gone. The sour vibe is gone. I tried this on in Chennai airport and was blown away by how much I loved this after I hated cedrat Boise so much I had to return it to Costco. The cashier processing my return of Cedrat Boise smelled it and she said "blach we sell this??" I love Light Blue but would take this bottle over that any day. I know this was a hype beast a year or two ago and I definitely see why.

Nose Note #418 The nutty aspect of it is much more pronounced than in the OG and I don't like that. Otherwise they are practically the same. But the OG is stronger from start to finish. If OG is definately "long lasting", this is is just a little above average. Both open up nicely and naturally. But this nutty aspect, man... It's ruining the scent a bit. The OG is more fruity too. All in all I'd say they are 90% similar. I think you can consider it not a dupe of Aventus. To me it's too far away, not just a twist. 7.5/10

Great clone of Mancera Cedrat Boise. The opening is a citrus bomb (slightly chemically), but the dry down is magical. It smells fresh, masculine, and fruity. Compared to the OG, Emir Cedrat Essence feels a bit "cleaner" because it has less leather/smoke notes. Performance is average to above average (6+ hours). For this price point, you really can't complain. Highly recommended for office or gym.

Man they killed it with this one. Smells almost exactly like cedrat boise. This one is just a little smoother. The smokiness is a little less harsh than the OG. This one just has poorer performance than CB. It’s decent for a cheaper alternative. But it says it’s an extrait when it’s an EDP at best. I definitely recommend it though if you’re a CB fan like I am.

Ok so I sat on this one.....It's now my top 5. It has a similar honey drop smell like Xerjoff Naxos. And I would say if you consider a fragrance like Naxos to be a heavy hitter this is the same sort of vibe. I would say this is the Summery, fruity, leathery, fresher cousin of Naxos. Not to say this is a Naxos smell the honey mix just really brings that vibe.

Beautiful outdoorsy scent, smells like the best hike in the world. I love spritzing this on myself to get a little taste of the outdoors from the comfort of my home. Seems a bit masculine, but has prominent feminine qualities. I feel like if I smelled this on someone, I wouldn’t even register it as perfume because it smells so fresh and organic.

This is lovely. The word that comes to mind to describe this is "herbal." Lasts a good 8+ hours. Strong, but not overpowering. Fresh and masculine. Not sure I have anything else quite like this in my collection? Could wear this year-around (perhaps not on the hottest of summer days, though). Would I buy this again? Yes.

I get a super creamy and bright citrus opening which dries down to a still creamy musky wood. Over all it is very rich and feels high quality, It lasts quite long and evolves a lot through the dry down. I'm not sure about projection but I feel like its about average for a such a thick scent.

Amp up the lemon/citrus in the OG and reduce the smoke & leather. Close enough with a smooth and creamy twist. Lasts 8+ hours on my skin

It's solid. This is a very smoothened out leathery and citrus based fragrance that is ever so slightly sweet and has lots of herbaceous and plant like qualities to it that further soften the DNA. Although it opens up with a strong yet smooth citrus, it quickly dies down from the water jasmine and oakmoss paired with the leather. Not a bad fragrance but you have to be okay with a fragrance that heavily leans into a plant like DNA profile. Me personally I prefer a more fresh DNA so Creed Aventus or Afnan SNOI is the way to go if you want something fresher or more unique than this but it's solid overall! 7.7/10

Decent, but fresher take on Cedrat Boisé. Opens up very crisp lemony, with green notes, and a tiny hint of earthiness from the black currant. Dries down to a fresh, green scent with a dose oakmoss in the back. Like mentioned, this is a fresher take on ''Cedrat Boisé'' without the fruitiness and the leather accord. Cedrat Essence is more suited for the warmer weather also.

I know nothing about the OG. But this one is really smooth. I probably tried it years ago. Today, it is around 70 degrees at night. I revisit it, WOW. The opening is fresh, not too woody, not too powdery yet. I am okay with the projection and longevity at this price point; it reminded me of a room air freshener. But overall, it is a good late-spring, early-summer scent!

after trying it for some time in various weather conditions, I feel that this fragrance is not very strong in a humid tropical climate, but when worn in a dry tropical climate, I feel that every layer of this fragrance stands out, for the record I live in Indonesia, which has a climate tropical with a variety of different humidity

This is a good scent. But dont buy it cause its a clone of cedrat boise , cedrat boise is on another level in middle and base notes. This one has the best opening but not so good in the dry down . 3.5 outta 5

Beautiful bottle and solid atomizer; I do appreciate that Paris Corner invests in their bottles instead of putting their budget into flashy boxes. Let's talk about this clone's value or lack thereof: * Clone Paris Corner Cedrat is 75 milliliters * Original Mancera Cedrat Boise 120 milliliters * Clone Cedrat goes for about $35 per bottle ($0.47 per milliliter) * Original Cedrat Boise can be found on sale for about $75 USD on any given day ($0.6 per milliliter) At the cash register Paris Corner's clone only offers a 22% savings per milliliter compared to the original, but that price advantage is lost because the formulation is very diluted thus requiring application of more fragrance. The clone offers little or no better value than the artistic original. Is point of entry much lower for young and budding fragrance aficionados on a budget or those in developing countries with less purchasing power? Absolutely. Inoffensive enough for office use, a warm and calm scent, it does lack the character of the original Cedrat Boise by Mancera. Cedrat Essence of the Emir line by Paris Corner is a polaroid photo of the original in which you can see the general scene but it lacks the resolution and fidelity to really stand out. This fuzzy replica is unlikely to be worth the perceived savings unless you're really on a budget.

It smells clean, fruity, citrusy. That's it, lacks depth. I don't get any wood in the base, so it's too unisex for me. Performance is average. It's still pleasant, so if you like this kind of scent profile it might be worth checking out. EDIT: After letting it sit for a few weeks, I get more candied lemon in the opening and some nice leather in the dry-down.

This is a complex fragrance. There is quite a bit of a value you're getting from this if the following interests you: starts off with a familiar bergamont freshness, then a lingering fruity sweetness with significant florals. It ends with a persistent mossy musk. A fascinating mix of masculinity and elegance.

It is a fresher and lighter take on the Cedrat Boisé DNA. It opens with a fresh citrus and greenness with the oakmoss and suede leather in the background. In the dry-down, the suede leather woodiness becomes more prominent. Overall, the price-to-value proposition is good.

Sure, Cedrat Essence is related to Cedrat Boise; however, Cedrat Essence is missing that bright lemon fizziness that Cedrat Boise possesses. Layer Cedrat Essence with Club de Nuit Intense Man and you'll be closer in scent and in price to the original Cedrat Boise.

A great dupe of Cedrat Boise. If you enjoy the original or the Aventus DNA, I'd say this is a safe blind buy. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of that fragrance DNA, and even though I tried to like it, this was a miss for me. I would say it smells objectively nice, very designer-y, synthetic (like Mancera does), and absolutely office safe (or school safe?). It's leaning masculine as a fragrance, and personally, I think this type of fragrance is best suited for a young man or teenager. And that might be part of why this is a miss for me, I can't see myself wearing this, as I primarily associate this type of smell with teenage boys half my age.

This is a blind buy I regret. Received it yesterday, just binned it. What a sickly smell! I have never smelt Cédrat Boisé but if it smells like this, and given all the reviews on this page and YouTube it does, it's not for me either. I expected something fresh, citrusy and fruity but got this foetid, nauseating potion instead. It reminds me vaguely of Roma Uomo by Laura Biagiotti, which never made it to my fragrance sanctuary either. I tried to wash it off immediately but this stuff is stubborn so I had to endure it all night. I will now try to erase this bad experience from my memory by overspraying Eau Sauvage for a few days.

This smells like a fresher, more citric take on Cedrat Boise. I get extremely light projection and only about 4 hours of longevity, it's not even serviceable so it's a pass. Yet another hyped cheap Middle Eastern trash fragrance. Just get CB, it's in the same-ish price bracket and is in a completely different league.

Smell like burning tires on my skin

I don't have this, plan was to comment on Cherry Cola and Wild n Tobacco but they aren't on the site yet. Now some clone fans will claim that it comes close to 77 to 85% to the originals but to my nose and enjoyment it is almost 99% holey moley how can you get these for as low as twenty bucks, don't ask me how the law works, but this copycat protects my bank account!! The bottles are a bit of an oddity, so they can duplicate a respected niche but feel the design has to be deviated? So they have added much unnecessary weight to mimic the same volume and size as the Mancera 120ML range. I am an instant follower now ...and, please tell me that Voux Blue Oud is a copy of Lemon Mint!!!?!! PS Mancera is the real deal here, worth every penny, if you want Mancera go for it.. not saying that these copies are 100% a substitute, maybe they lack a bit in quality but for what you get, it' s incredible

This is basically a smoother blend of the cedrat Boise DNA without the smoky facets. It smells like lemon drop candy off my skin and performance is good with moderate projection, good Sillage, and slightly above average longevity off my skin. Overall it smells great but it is nothing special or unique , just a great warm weather fragrance that is easy to wear. 8/10

I really wish someone would have said it was the exact same a absolute carbon copy of armaf club de nuit I have mancera cedrat boise and also armaf club de nuit. I had originally purchased this as a back up of my mancera cedrat boise but now it seems I have 2 back ups. You do not need this if you already have armaf clud de nuit!

It's kind of a complete blend of overall fruity citrusy fragrance, I wouldn't say that it's powerful as the notes show but it's light, creamy and fresh. I would consider it only if I am going out for breakfast or lunch like it's not something I would use it for entire day or night, umm it didn't charmed me that much!

This smells like more tolerable version of CDNIM with a touch of lemon green jolly rancher, its smoother and not as chemical as CDNIM but also not as loud and doesnt perform and as good. Overall nice cheap buy (got it for under $20) if you like this type of profile.

After letting this sit for a week, it is quickly becoming my go-to dumb reach fragrance. Its such a velvety vanilla lemony fruit scent. I love catching wiffs
