Emir Oud and Vanille

Starts with a strong smoky blast, but don’t worry – within a few minutes the smokiness subsides a bit, becoming the backbone of the fragrance that opens up to reveal a deep, beautiful mature type of vanilla with a touch of saffron, smooth soft oud and a delicious creamy sandalwood, and after an houre or so shins a pinch of shay airy flowers wich are hard to detect but a great sexy addition to the concoction. The longer the wear, the deeper the vanilla becomes – it is absolutely beautiful ! love how it floats in the air, it's beautiful on its own, and also works wonderfully for layering. Very versatile. This one is in the same alley as Riffaqat, but by far more polished and balanced. I find it sweeter and more refined, and it finally corrected my aversion to this type of perfume profile after being overwhelmed by Riffaqat’s “old closet in the attic or oil paint” vibe, which overshadowed everything and ruined it for me. Very classy. Great for formal events and gives a boss vibe, but surprisingly also works for clubbing and a bit sensual. A good performer too - sillage and projection above average.

This is truly a golden formulation. It reminds me of a more well developed Ameer al Oud Intense. Smoky, spicy and sweet but not suffocating. I almost detect a Morrocan coffee accord with this. Like someone roasting vanilla over a campfire. The oud here is bold and distinguished, the vanilla swirls over the smoking embers of the guaiac and sandal wood, lending a burnt sugar quality The blend of the spicy Cardamom, warm black pepper and refined saffron gives a seductive elegance.. While the mysterious floral bloom delicately at heart of the dry down. Not overly masculine or feminine, I'd say its straight unisex and an AMAZING base perfume. So far I've paired this with Nebras, Ansaam Gold, Kismet Angel, Shagaf Oud Tonka and Khamrah. It pairs best with a fluffy perfume in my opinion unless you really love boozy notes. It's just so freaking good. I see this maceration will go well by the fall

I got mine for 14 euros. Aroma sillage longevity are the same with the og ( 98% approx ). There is no need to have the original. For the user below : i got 6 bottles with 84 euros...480 ml...so the comparison u re making is kind of wrong...i believe that this is better than the original..if u overspray the original u get a weird note.Not with emir!!! Compliments all around me they say i smell like the best cookie in the universe..safe blind buy if u like vanillic perfumes(even if u dont like ouds).unisex.

This is darn good stuff for 25 bucks. Love the oud and vanilla in this. Longevity and sillage are both great. You cannot go wrong with this. 9.5/10. Only gripe is i wish it was a 3.4oz and not a 2.5oz. I have this and aoud vanille from mancera and I prefer this. The og has a mintyness to it where as this doesn't. This also performs just as good as the mancera.

I have the OG, and recently acquired this, and I can tell you, I have a hard time distinguishing between the two. Even the longevity and sillage are very similar, which makes this a very good pickup substitute. You can pick up the OG for about $80 on discounters, so the savings aren't huge... But, if you're on budget, this is a worthy substitute.

I have smelled so many saffron ouds that at first this one scared me. But now I think I have found the perfect oudh vanilla, I love the drydown of this, there is a certain airiness and lightness to this that makes this possible for a woman to wear as well. I also love this bottle, it perfectly reflects the scent.

Received today and I can already tell this is a hit. The unique opening draws your attention and keeps it there until turning into a smooth and creamy woody/vanilla combo in the drydown. No skanky oud smell and not sugary sweet like the latest trend of new releases. I agree, it does smell expensive.

The whole gold part came off of the top after about a week. It’s a shame it’s really heavy, so I just kind of stick it on there and decant. I hate tobacco but don’t I mind it in this. It lasts about 2 hrs. For this price I don’t mind respraying.

This fragrance is so warm and comforting. It smells so sexy on my husband but I wear it too. Sometimes I layer it with a sweeter vanilla like Vanilla Voyage or Maitha but it is delicious alone.

First impressions: I can definitely smell the pepper from the opening woods come next, with the vanilla base emerging slowly I really like it

Smells so toxic I can’t imagine anyone not getting a headache instantly and wanting to throw up Ok I had to come back and edit after letting it sit for a few months now I see what everyone is on about. It’s not my favourite but I do like how it’s very unisex it’s a very unusual vanilla. I’m very new to the fragrance world so maybe that’s just me. It’s growing on me a lot

I love it! It smells a lot like Santal Carmin from Atelier Cologne but with much more vanilla in it. So cosy, pleasent fragrance, with sexy twist.

On a paper test I get vanilla on the opening along with something else...what is it...Oh! Aloe vera. It was reminding me of a sunburn and I couldn't think of why. I don't dislike it but probably won't reach for it often. I will try a skin test sometime and update.

My perfect vanilla smell yes there is some oud, but not smoky at all, overall more smooth and warm vanilla. Long lasting if you are looking for an alternative for aoud vanilla mancera.

This is 75ml and isn't half of the price of the Mancera. So price per ml the Mancera is cheaper and higher quality aswell.

This is phenomenal if you like woody and vanilla scents. Spot on clone of Mancera Aoud Vanille!

Pretty mid. Smells similar to many other middle eastern fragrances.
