Emir Vanilla and Roses

This one is beautiful I tried a sample of this and immediately bought a bottle and I'm not even a fan of Rose fragrances at least 99% of them.. but this one is somehow bright fresh but also a sweet vanilla Rose ..I don't know why it's fresh probably because of the lemon in the watery notes .. but it's not a vintage smelling Rose fragrance, it's very modern with a bit of middle eastern woodiness in the base probably for projection so if you're sensitive to any kind of woody notes you might notice that especially after it dries down. But it's not strong and normally I don't like them however in this fragrance it works. I find it helps the fragrance project and give me a beautiful bubble. I sprayed this on myself and my husband went nuts over it I think it's a very feminine enticing seductive fragrance. Unlike a lot of other floral fragrances I think this one could be worn even in warm weather, maybe not super hot, just because of those fresh notes in it and there's no patchouli or anything heady or cloying in it besides the modern aromachemicals in the base. Edit: I actually tested this against a sample of mancera and still prefer this as it's fresher and doesn't have a sharp cedar base note like the mancera one does.

Just got this today and would consider sacrificing my first born if it came down to that or never smelling this again so I must know, how close is it to Roses Vanille? Bc I may have to splurge. 20hrs later Okay returning to this the next day~ the only thing I don’t love about the dry down is that nose to wrist, I smell that oud note thats present in cheaper ME fragrances like the Swiss Arabian ouds. I’m thinking of Shaghaf Oud and Casablanca. I ended up giving them both away bc of that very specific note so I hope it doesn’t ruin this one for me. I notice that I don’t smell it much on clothes/paper, just when it warms up on my skin so maybe I can’t spray this one on my body. Maybe my body chemistry hates that particular oud ingredient, but it smells like baby spit to me. Sweet, wet, acidic and lactonic at the same time? Sour like something’s gone bad instead of sour like citrus. Curdled milk. Baby vomit even. I’m devastated.

Wow this is so beautiful. I have been wearing this all week . Can not stop sniffing it. And that is a new on for me. I normaly change perfumes everyday. Such a wonderfull sweet jammy rose ,also have enough freshnes so it does not get too sticky sweet. There is a tiny bit of wood to ground it but not much. It is very feminin and maybe a bit girl. But i love wearing it being in my 40s . I can not say that i pick up much lemon in this . This last on my skin 6 +hours . Radiaten i cant say much about .how others pick this up. But i do feal that this is wafting around me moderatly. It might be strong if you put more on . I totaly Will look for more like this one. So lovely . EDIT:i do get so many compliments on this one. Just got this today as a birthday gift from my brother. Honestly i'm not a fan of floral or any flowery scent because i prefer gourmand and sweet more. The smell is heavy on the roses and faint vanilla but somehow those notes create a sugary roses smell. It's like honey too tbh because i have a sensetive nose. This is not bad as a gourmand girl tho! Not disappointed with this. P.S. This is actually smells better than Taskeen Caramel Cascade which the one that i hope to smell gourmand-y but end up smelling like burnt tire.

Sugared rose petals on a delicious galetine dessert. It is reminiscent of a very luxe Paris patisserie that serves a delicious rose tea. The vanilla, sugar and rose in this is very well blended. It manages to stay light and airy, like spun sugar. This is currently my favorite layering scent. It's nice enough on its own but even better eith other gourmand or woody fragrance. It's sweet, it's sugary but not childish. It gives me a delectable vibe that's more refined. I haven't had the OG but the notes are marvelous

I am SOOOOO happy with this as a blind blind. I'm a gourmand fan and this fit the bill. It is literally Turkish delight from the local Turkish restaurant or bakery. Sweet, rose jammy, uplifting with the hint of lemon. Lemon plays a supporting role to enhance the roses: it is NOT primarily a lemon perfume at all. This is a Turkish Delight bomb. For an extrait I'm a bit surprised by the average (acceptable but not awesome ) longevity. Anyway. Cheap enough to respray.

A relative told me it is spot on the RV of Mancera. I looooove this perfume. In the beginning I was afraid it wasn’t what I smelled when testing it. But it shines much more in colder weather than in warm weather. I can’t stop sniffing it and agree with the comments about the sugariness of it with the rose. No lemon and and only a slight wood to my nose though. It does seem to have a bit of oud in it.

This unassuming bottle is an absolute delight. I blind brought this and I’m so happy it crossed my path. The scent is light fresh and airy with a magical light rose scent. I have never had a perfume with water scent but you can actually smell the water it’s lovely, can’t recommend highly enough. Not overly long lasting but so refreshing to respray I don’t mind reapplying.

On a skin test, I really like this fragrance. It's very sweet sugar and roses with maybe a hint of cedar coming through. I don't know that I get lemon from this but it's probably in the mix somehow and my nose isn't good enough to pick it up. It's only been on for about 15 minutes so it'll probably change some in the future but for now it's really nice.

Very pleasant. This one lasts longer than the usual Paris Corner portfolio. It's a good choice as a day to day wear, or when you don't know what perfume to wear. I sometimes use it together with Ristretto Intense Café, although they're similar, to oomph a bit that rose. The bottle design it's inspired from Boucheron La Collection.

I’m not usually a rose or heavy floral fan- but this smells so lovely. It’s a sugary, gourmand, jammy rose. I would call this a safe blind buy for most people. It’s sweet and feminine without being too juvenile. I can’t stop smelling my wrists then I wear this.

A beautiful sweet sugared rose. It's so addictive and yummy. One of my all time favorite scents. It's the only perfume that I actually bought a back up in case they discontinue it.

When I first got this I smelled absolutely nothing. I let her sit for about 6 weeks and now she has rewarded me with a beautiful sweet, lemony rose scent.

Blind bought this after reading reviews that it wasn’t super rose heavy. Listen, if you don’t like Rose, leave this alone! Rose tends to grab onto my skin and it gives me headaches. Now, putting aside that I don’t like rose scents and I’ll likely give this away, I can’t deny it’s a beautiful fragrance. Think rose milk tea, sweetened with honey, whip cream and a candied, sugar crusted rose on top. The initial blast is very sugary rose. The dry down is beautiful. Very vanilla and honey like. The Rose is there from start to finish. Scent bubble lasted all day until I took a shower. Does well in the heat. If rose is your jam, this is a must have for you. Beautiful, feminine, elegant without sacrificing youth. Any age can wear it. What a princess of a perfume.

This smells almost identical to Roses Vanille by Mancera, and it’s absolutely gorgeous! The scent is rich and captivating, while the bottle is stunning, elegant, heavy, and feels luxurious in hand. What makes this even better is that it doesn’t have the oily residue that Roses Vanille sometimes leaves behind. It’s a fantastic alternative!

I smell sugar, vanilla and rose. No lemon. Slight woodiness. Feels like rose flavoured desert. Rose and gourmand lovers will enjoy this. I'm loving it in winter.

Sweet and sugary rose or rose water in the beginning, followed by some lemon zest. A very nice girly scent, perfect for spring and maybe a first date :)

Simple and clean rose scent. No complexity here. There's a hint of sugar but that's it. Good for someone who loves rose.

No, no, no! I just bought this from Burlington and it smells NOTHING like the name suggests, and I do mean NOTHING! All I get is CEDAR and a super light, light lemon scent! CEDAR and more CEDAR! It literally smells like water with a single drop of lemon juice and all CEDAR. WTF. Very disappointing.

I have to say this is the perfume (along with the Mancera inspiration) that changed my mind about both roses and vanilla in perfumes. I never liked either, unless they were both not the dominant note and I couldn’t really tell. The rose in this is predominant, but it’s not a dead or dry rose, like what I smell in most rose perfumes. It’s a rose water raspberry gelée in a sugar cookie, maybe. The wood note complements it so well, that I can’t stop smelling whatever I put this on. I compared this with the Mancera on a testing strip, and I could still smell both after days! I think the Mancera won out but only after about 5 days. For the price, this is absolutely stunning and amazing. I never thought I would like this but ended up loving it. It’s in my top 5. Also, it reminds me a bit of Guidance. That one is more special, but if you like Guidance and want something similar but less intense and a bit sweeter, give this Emir a try.

Bought this for my wife for Valentine's day. It was a blind bit and cheap from the discontinued section of an online perfume shop. I was a bit wary but my wife loves rose perfumes. I thought being cheap there was a chance it would be harsh or overpowering and headache inducing but I couldn't have been more wrong. It hits the real Goldilocks zone, sweet but not too sweet , vanilla is definitely there but not cloying, as others have said I get no lemon at all but a slight and welcome woody undertone. To me it smells like I've gone into an old sweet/dessert shop in the middle east that has everything displayed on old wooden shelves. It's a lovely warm and comforting scent.

I have the original and decided to try this to compare and while it is a decent fragrance and similar to the og the original is better, it's deeper, more rosey. This one has more of an artificial lemon smell that ruins it for me
