Eshal Musk

This is such an under-the-radar, beautiful fragrance. It’s been my summer obsession and is entering my permanent rotation. It’s subtle and clean but a genuine compliment magnet (and I’m old, so having 20 somethings stop me in the street to say I smell amazing and ask what I’m wearing is really unusual). It’s mostly a clean, sweet musk scent with light florals (to my nose the lotus and candied violet are the main floral notes with barely any jasmine or freesia) - it’s delicate and light so ideal for hot summer weather, working in a confined office or layering with pretty much anything that you want to add a little clean, fresh, sweetness into. I haven’t smelt Musk 12 so I can’t speak to whether or not it’s accurate dupe, but I will go ten toes down that (IF you like clean, musk scents) this is an incredibly safe blind buy. It’s pretty linear and doesn’t change much in the dry down, but it’s so beautiful - why would you want it to? It smells much more expensive than it is and the scent definitely lasts. As with most musk and/or ambroxan you may go a little scent blind the more you wear it but a) it’s light enough that even if you go crazy with application it’s impossible to choke out people around you (the scent bubble is close) and b) the sillage is great so you’ll catch glorious whiffs well up to the 10 or even 12 hour mark as you move or take off clothing at night. You’ll smell where you’ve been even when you can’t smell where you are (if that makes sense). A real 10/10. If you’re thinking about it, just do it. If you don’t like it message me and I’ll probably buy it off you!

It is a beautiful scent 😍 I was looking for something similar to Bal d'Afrique with less citrus and this came up. It really does have similarities. It is soft and beautiful 😍 i love it. But i already feel that this isn't powerful enough. This is probably skin scent. I must wait and see if people mention anything about it. I wish it was stronger. Can't really feel powdery from this. But i love that this isn't screetchy for my nose. I absolutely hate screetchy perfumes. I think it is safe blond buy ❤️😍

The initial spray opens with a strong blast of alcohol. It also lasts only about two hours, with rather intimate sillage. Either of those factors would normally be enough to stop me from buying a full bottle. But this fragrance brings me so much joy during those two fleeting hours that I ended up buying one anyway. I love layering it with Pure Musc Blanc by Narciso Rodriguez, as it dramatically improves Eshal Musk's longevity and projection without overshadowing its scent.

This is pretty. It is a very citrus clean fluffy fresh scent on me. This is what ive wanted all my other musks on me to be. Im sure its an on my skin chemistry thing as there isn't any lemony citrus listed in notes. But I feel its nostalgic and comforting and fresh all at once. I think musk can be very divisive. I do not get the carmel note but my skin eats sweets so maybe it disappears by the drydown. Its a dubyah for me.

I bought a few ml to try and I am so happy that I tried this freshness, this purity, this lightness, everything that a clean, airy, pleasant, fresh fragrance should have. After many perfumes, I can say that this one corresponds to everything I was looking for in that range of freshness.

A soft, fluffy, soapy, and clean musk. This will be an easy reach for me this spring. It smells completely different on fabrics than it does on skin so be aware of that. I feel it smells better on my skin

I adore this so much!! This is the most beautiful musky floral with a hint of sweetness. Fluffy, cosy, cocooning, slightly clean. I've been reaching for this a lot.

Beautiful floral airy light opening. More of a skin scent. I wear it around the house a lot and if it’s the SOTD spray numerous times.

I love the original and while I am a little more wary of this one's notes I just ordered her and can't wait to smell

I’ll start this by being totally transparent: I have never actually smelled the "OG" (Kayali Musk 12). I know that might be helpful for some of you who are wondering about the 1:1 comparison, but I bought this purely based on the notes and the hype. Because it’s a musk, don’t expect it to fill a whole room (it’s an intimate sillage). However, the longevity on my clothes is actually impressive. I can still smell that cozy vanilla musk dry down on my clothes the next morning. Even without knowing how it compares to the Kayali, I am so happy I have this in my collection. For the price point, the bottle quality is stunning and the juice smells way more expensive than it actually is.

Aroma Concepts/Paris Corner tends to be pretty good at Kayali dupes, so I’ll park here waiting for the first wave of reviews after people ordered during its release this past weekend. I actually never smelled Musk 12, but it’s rare for me to blind buy clean musks and it not be a success. I really want to buy it right now, but I’m going to wait. I had been contemplating blind buying Musk 12, first, but since Mona has lost her mind in raising the prices, I’ll blind buy this. Edit: Ok so my resolve is weak and the impulse to buy defeated me. I guess I’ll be among the first wave of reviewers cause I couldn’t wait.

Ok, so mine just arrived and it smells like your every day white musk, but harsh and chemical-y. I’ve bought enough Paris Corner to know this has to sit for a few weeks- a few months. It’ll be beautiful , once it smooths out, but I think I could have waited to buy this until the hype has passed and the price went down. It’s powdery, soapy, and has a hint of clean white florals. Very pretty for spring but not groundbreaking. Still, im a huge fan of clean musks/white florals so im not mad.

Ok ill actually luke this way more than the original! On me this pulls sweeter on my skin and the og pulled dated almost and had this off putting smell that I just couldn't get past. This one is really fluffy sweet almost like the IRFE marshmallow Musk smells close to that actually with more of a upbeat clean lotus and lily of the valley. This is nice!

I just got this in the mail and it is almost 1:1 to Cedar Chic from CH. Im impressed no one has not mentioned that. Lets see how it macerate. Blind bought and is now a bit redundant in my collection.

Fresh, clean and powdery. Normally I dont like powdery scents but i love how airy and fresh this is. Effortless easy noncloying spring/summer reach.

Difficult to describe. Powdery, sweet, and sharp at the same time somehow. I love musky and powdery scents, but not this.

disclaimer: i have not smelled musk 12, only dua's musky lotus (which is sweeter in comparison atm, if you're curious). i've only had this fragrance for one day as of this review (02/11/2026), so i'll wait to see if it changes, but as of today, this isn't something i see myself wearing. all i smell is clean laundry. no florals, no sweetness, just crisp, fresh laundry. not a bad smell, just not what i want to smell like. i think i'm slowly conceding that musk-dominant fragrances may not be my cup of tea. most musky fragrances i pick up end up smelling too much like fresh linen vs "clean skin" for me. lily of the valley can also come off a bit too soapy for me, which doesn't help. i have the dua version of this as well and just thought i didn't like how dua did their musks in fragrances (their version of marshmallow musk, l'eau papier, musk 12), but i guess it might just be how this kind of musk smells to me. **edit 06/09/26** i've had this for about 4 months now, not testing consistently but periodically giving it sniff on my skin. i would say it's a bit less sharp and more airy, but i still smell nothing but clean laundry. this is definitely a white t-shirt kinda fragrance. just not for me! i'll either give it a new home or spray it in my laundry room/car.

Call me crazy, but I’m getting a carnival vibe from this one. Straight up smells like the fairgrounds to me, with all the sweet food smells swirling around me. Must be the caramel note? Honestly, I’m not sure if I like this or not. I’ve never smelled the OG so I can’t compare. Maybe I just need to let this one macerate a bit? I don’t know. I might end up sending this one back.

Smells really clean and fresh, but it's not remarkable. I had FOMO and bought it as soon as it dropped. The jury is still out, but I probably won't repurchase. It wears more like a body spray.

I truly wanted to love this fragrance, but I just couldn’t. Yes, it’s undeniably feminine, light, delicate, and almost ethereal. However, I struggled with how overwhelmingly soapy and powdery it is. The powdery accord feels very dominant and persistent, making it difficult to fully appreciate the other notes. If you enjoy that ultra-clean, freshly showered feeling, like stepping out of the bath after using a classic Dove soap bar with a subtle touch of sweetness, this fragrance might be perfect for you.

I just got this, and usually I allow these fragrances to rest , however usually I can get a good sense of if the fragrance has potential when I spray it out to get air in the bottle. This does not seem to have potential. I like florals and I like musk but this one is a sharp musk bomb. It almost smells citrusy on my skin and it reminds me of the scent of bathroom cleaner. It will be returned

Just, no. In all transparency, I have never smelled Musk 12. However, if this smells anything like it, I do not understand the hype at all. This fragrance is so light that you can barely smell it. The scent that it does have is not pleasant at all. This was a complete fail and waste of money. Please get a sample before buying this fragrance.

Too heavy and headache-inducing on me. I wanted to like it but :( nope. Maybe my nose is just sensitive but this is such a strong-smelling, powdery, cloying fragrance.

I absolutely love Eshal Vanilla, so when I saw this, I run and bought it as soon as it came out. The notes sound great and it looked like it's going to be perfect for the upcoming spring. But what a disappointment it was... it smells really outdated to me. It reminds me a lot of my mum's cheap face cream and perfume combo she wore in the early 90ties. Sentimental, yes, but hell no, I don't want to smell like that. Old lady vibes, big time. I can't comment on performance as I sprayed it twice and returned the same day. I know there are going to be people who enjoy this though, so no hate. It's just not for me. I'll stick to Eshal Vanilla.

This smells sooooooo light. Its been sitting for a week now. Smells like Dove soap. I was expecting it to be a floral musk but why is it so super light. When I spray it I can’t even smell it. I have to spray it on a tester and put it up to my nose. I’m usually a fan of beastie fragrances that leaves a pretty strong scented trail. But this one.... I want to sell it since I know AC isnt going to take it back.

Gross yogurt-ish smell and shaving cream , where's the clean musky smell?

I have many of OG kayali scents, to all which last about 5 seconds longer than a fart, because I kept falling for it. Whoever named the OG yum pistachio and put the word “intense” in the name should go to jail. Which led me to buy so many of Paris Corner’s interpretations of the Kayali OG. I own the lychee, the pistachio and the silk Santal in both versions and I have found Paris Corner ones out perform the OG by miles yet the scents are basically the same. I own both Kayali Musk 12 and Eshal Musk. In fact, when Musk 12 returned (after I’ve been rationing the travel sizes) I ended up buying a 50mL bottle from Kayali. I received Eshal musk today and I already hate myself for buying the Musk 12 because it is nearly identical. There’s an extra oomph of something in the Eshal that I haven’t pinned down yet. Could be because of the mail shock or it just amplifies whatever that is quite light in Musk 12 that I was not able to smell before. I love this perfume so much. It’s a 10/10 for me.

Immediate sharp alcohol blast that lasts for a little too long for my liking. Dry down is weird and a little like wet cardboard and wheat thins faintly in the background. Putting that aside I can definitely see it’s a Prada candy kiss dupe and as a result a kayali musk 12 dupe (which is a dupe of Prada candy kiss). But it’s totally missing the mark for me with everything else going on. Maybe it needs to sit for a little idk but this is buns

Lasts so much longer than kayali musk 12! This is the soft fluffy musk I've been looking for since musk 12 lasts about 2 seconds on me. I can smell the ambroxan a little here and I am normally an ambroxan super hater, but the other notes honestly balance it really well, so don't let that discourage you from getting this. Fresh yet fluffy all at once. Never discontinue this because I don't know what I'll do!!!

Can we make a floral, white floral, musky, powdery perfume without vanilla and caramel added? The era of sticky gourmands is slwly fading. We need some fresh air after years of eating ourselves due to gourmand, sweet mists coming from our own clothes and skin... don't get me wrong..i have always been a gpurmand obsessive consumer but it's time for some meditative pause from this...just a tiny bit

Musk 12 on my right hand, Eshal on the left. They are very close, but honestly Musk 12 has more of a smooth vanilla in the base. Eshal is a tad sharper to the nose, while Musk 12 remains super smooth. I personally think Musk 12 is worth the spend, especially if you love the scent profile.

Update: I just purchased this on Amazon with a 10% discount. Review coming soon. Many of the top, middle and base notes of Eshal Musk are similar to Mayar Natural intense. Because I'm trying to avoid redundancy, can anyone confirm if they smell similar in the dry down?

? Where did you get that from Lol. Just one quick google search shows that Eshal is a Muslim name that means "heavenly flower" or "a flower in/from Jannah" (Jannah being the Islamic version of heaven/paraside) or something.

I don't like musk scents at all, and honestly, I don't think it's a fragrance for women either; it's too overpowering and old-fashioned. If I had to describe it, musk would be a 16th-century church scent.

FIRST IMPRESSION...this reminds me of Initio Musk Therapy. Im going to have to test this one out for while to get a better feel for it and will update my review then.

What an absolute disaster of a name. Eshal means diarrhea in Arabic. What a great fragrance name from an Arab brand

Very close to the original. Its a sweet angelic clean musc with intimate projection. Beautiful!
