Eshal Vanilla

This perfume is delectable. Such a rich, slightly spiced, mouth watering vanilla. The kind that makes my eyes drift closed when I first spray it, and makes me want to overspray it all over myself and bathe in it. I've been searching for a long time for a vanilla that's warm and sweet without making me smell like a cookie or cupcake, and I think I've just about found it. My only complaint is that like a lot of ME perfumes, I find that sometimes I get a whiff of camphor-bugspray-spice underneath the heavenly vanilla...It might be a bit of oud that isn't listed in the notes. Thankfully it only happens occasionally (like every other time I wear it, and only for a few minutes, then it's gone). For the price and the rest of the smell, I'm willing to live with it. This smells exactly like Elysia Vanilla to me (the one that's almost purple). I have a decant of both, and they both smell intoxicatingly sweet and vanilla-y with the slightest hint of spices to keep things layered and interesting (unfortunately, those spices sometimes turn slightly bugspray-y in both of them too). I'm buying a FB of Eshal Vanilla for $40, whereas Elysia Vanilla is listed at the more attractive price of $25...except that it's out of stock everywhere. Additionally, the juice in Elysia Vanilla is a dark purple, and therefore stains clothes. Since I like the performance of perfumes on clothes better than skin, that's a problem for me. Eshal Vanilla (at least in my decant) is a very pale yellow, so no stain risk. I don't know if it will darken with time though, as a lot of vanilla perfumes do. I would say if you have one you don't need the other, but which one you get depends on whether you care about staining potential, price, and immediate availability. Longevity: Eternal on clothes. No joke, I can smell this on sweaters for over a week, until I wash them. Divine. Sillage: Projects about a foot, but that's because I only do one spray. Pretty standard performance compared to my other perfumes. Disclaimer: I'm testing a decant in a 5ml bottle, so I don't know how long the original bottle matured before it got to me. I typically only spray once, and small decant bottles spray less than a full bottle's atomizer, so my longevity and sillage experiences will differ from yours. Edit: I went back and bought a full bottle. I don't normally factor bottles or packaging into my reviews because what I care about most is how a perfume smells, but I just have to say wow, the presentation of this perfume is gorgeous (better than my $400+ bottles of PDM!). The thick, gold-embossed box folds open like a hardcover book, and nestled inside the padded foam cutout is a silky handkerchief elegantly decorated with vanilla bean orchids and the most beautiful perfume bottle in my collection. The bottle is heavy, golden glass with a collar of intricately patterned gold, like an African queen. The diamond-cut gold design covers the neck of the bottle and continues up onto the cap, which is topped by a large black (plastic) gem. It's a bottle that fits the vibe of the juice inside perfectly; elegant, luxurious, seductive, and mesmerizing with hidden depths. Between the presentation and the juice inside, this would make a stunning gift (and will look like you spent way more than its $40 price tag!) This new bottle is much more oud-forward than my decant, which unfortunately to my nose reads as very camphor/incense heavy and overpowers the vanilla, so I'm going to let it rest and mature for a while. However, I've also been detecting that note in my decant recently, so it's not just a matter of aging the juice. Any sort of heat (weather or body heat) brings out that camphor note unfortunately.

I rarely find the note pyramids in here to be extremely inaccurate, but in this case, they feel quite off from the actual experience. If you blind bought this, thinking it would be a simple gourmand vanilla, you were probably disappointed. The V28 DNA isn't a "vanilla frosting body mist" type of fragrance - it's vanilla perfume. It's meant to be more complex, more nuanced. Quite a floral, boozy, grounded vanilla DNA. Eshal Vanilla even more so, than V28 and Elysia Vanilla, which I think is what makes this stand out as a more grown up or "mature" vanilla (I'm in my early 30s and find it to be perfectly fine). Significantly better performance than the others, but also more potent. Despite being a pale-ass Scandinavian, and rather immature for my age, I've found this particular DNA to be my PERFECT signature vanilla. It stands out as one of extremely few vanillas that doesn't go flat, alcoholic or otherwise unbalanced on my skin. Yes, there is definitely patchouli going on in this DNA, and Eshal Vanilla is the most patchouli forward out of the three, imo. Tbh, there's few notes I dread more than patchouli. On white people, it usually gives either new age or old lady. However, the V28 DNA has me fully convinced that patchouli + ambery, musky vanilla is actually olfactorially genius. It adds a sort of boozy groundedness that I find extremely attractive. Despite being more complex and nuanced than a vanilla body mist, this DNA is actually surprisingly verstatile. It's sweet, rich, floral, grounded, even slightly spicy - but balanced. So, if you blind bought this (or any other V28 kind of fragrance) and find it to be too mature or dark -FRET NOT, MY FRIEND. Here's what we're gonna do: To add lightness, youth, modernity: add a sweet, clean musk, and/or Iso E Super (Molecule 01, JHAG etc). My personal favorites are Al Rehab White Musk oil, Clean Reserve Skin, Musk 12, Mod Vanilla, Molecule 01. More edible vanilla: add a basic-ass gourmand layer. Vanilla body lotion, body mist, whatever. Mod Vanilla works really well here as well. Bonus wombo combo for more seductive spice/nighttime/dark autumn vibes: Omg, Khamra all the way. Or similar fragrances, sweet and spicy. Seriously seductive. Signature worthy nighttime fragrance. Last note: Eshal Vanilla is the most unisex out of the three, imo. Would probably be gorgeous and seductive on a man as well.

A fantastic, spot on dupe of Kayali Vanilla 28. I own(ed) a bottle of it, and did not use all of it due to the overpowering pepper notes in it. It's a very dry intense vanilla, with disappointing projection and longevity. Eshal vanilla is my newest vanilla, I liked Kayali 28 but again, it was just too peppery for my liking. I prefer creamier vanillas. I got this after reading the reviews saying it was just that. After first spray it was definitely the alcohol hit that you get with a newer bottle. I sprayed it a bit outside and then on myself. Only once. I realized almost immediately it was a 98% likeness to 28. The differences are minimal and in my opinion, make it better. You still get the pepper, but not as intense. It's quite present in the first few minutes of wear. After about an hour it turns, it goes more vanillic and creamy. Even my husband sniffed it and said "very creamy" but not so much that it takes away from the core notes. This to me is something a woman in a power suit with a LV bag and a High pony would wear to an evening meeting. A man could definitely wear this as well to soften a more intense fragrance. My husband will probably layer it with his Khadlaj Vanilla Dunes. This is definitely second bottle worthy. I cannot wait for it to sit and get better with time. I'm personally going to layer it with fire at will by javoy, or a fruity/floral fragrance for the spring to give it a bit more of a mature spin for anything that's more sweet and childish. Longevity - seems to be really good, I'd say 6 or more hours on clothes, 4 or more on skin. Projection - creates a nice scent bubble, I'd say a little more than an arms length. Overall I'd give this a 9/10.

Ok so, I like it, but not LOVE. I agree with iliana because there's gotta be patchouli in this! Either that or the rose and musk must be mixing and creating a scent that's giving me patchouli. Its very very strong, and the closer to where I sprayed I smell, the stronger it is. It's unfortunate because the bubble it creates is lovely vanilla with just a hint of the patch or musk or whatever is quite nice. It would just be much much better if that part didn't smell so damn loud. I think the search for the perfect vanilla continues! I'll wear this, but if I find a better vanilla will most likely destash. ETA only a few weeks later and the vanilla got stronger and smoother. It's soooo nice now, and closer to vanilla 28. It's also spot on for Vanilla Addiction the other Kayali dupe. You really only need one of these, and I think Eshal is the strongest. There's only slight differences in the vanilla between the 3, but its miniscule. Vanilla Addiction is a close second in strength and sillage though, you can go wrong with this or that one. Kayali however doesn't last on me AT ALL, which is on par which all of their perfumes. Yum bougie marshmallow was such a beautiful disappointment 😞

I just received this perfume and it’s my first one from Paris Corner. I’ll let it rest for a few weeks before I jump to any conclusions, but so far I really like it. The opening is a bit alcohol-y, but that evaporates quickly. The jump from sugar notes to vanilla and caramel is pretty steep - I could faintly smell some and jasmine, but not much. As vanilla in its every way, shape or form is my favourite perfume scent profile, I can’t see myself anything but loving this perfume, especially with time and maturation/maceration. I’m sure I’m going to enjoy Eshal Vanilla in colder months, we shall see am I going to love it when temperatures start rising, but if everything fails, it will at least serve as a wonderful layering scent for other perfumes and/or bedtime scent. It reminds me of Eclaire, another perfume I love wearing in winter and one of my most-used perfumes in recent months. The only difference is that Eshal’s vanilla note comes on surface sooner and stays for longer (is more prominent), whereas Eclaire leans more caramel-y in dry down and that note is more distinct than vanilla. If you liked Eclaire, I’m pretty sure you’d like Eshal, too.

Okay, I think the notes that Paris Corner displays on the box have to be wrong and I will explain below. I have 3 more V28 dupes: Elysia Vanilla, Ramsh Diva and Fleur Antique. Out of all 4: 1) Eshal has the more floral notes yet it's the least floral in scent. 2) It doesn't mention Patchouli which I definitely smell. 3) It's the one that has the more sweet notes on the top notes yet is the least sweet out of all. 4) It doesn't mention any woody notes yet it's quite woody! Having said that it is a lovely deep, strong fragrance, that is very similar to V28 but with a bitter undertone (that makes me think of patchouli). It's the strongest out of the 4 intrepretations, however the element that gives strengh to this perfume is the woody notes, so it looses some points when I compare it to Elysia Vanilla. If you search reviews here and on youtube, you will see people mention something "medicinal" or "masculine" which again, even though it's not mentioned in the notes, I think it is from the patchouli and some woody notes. It's a really nice fragrance that combines vanilla, sugar, boozy and woody notes.

To my nose on initial spray it smells exactly like kayali 28 , once on my skin initially it smells possibly a touch more smoky and musky then kayali, which for some could lean more masculine if you love your super sweet scents, but it’s really nice. Definatly vanilla and brown sugar which I love , super happy about this fragrance so far. More of a sexy mature woman fragrance , wouldn’t be my go too if I want to smell just like candy. Men could totally rock this aswell! Super happy with this tho an awesome affordable version ! Update on wear - Sprayed about 3 sprays on clothes today and could smell it on myself for a good 6 hours , in this time it was fading but I could be noise blind to it. I asked people if they could smell it and they had to lean in to smell me so I’m not sure what that says about the projection of this fragrance, but it still is fairly strong for about 3 hours after spraying. Usually I can’t smell my fragrances hours after spraying them on myself so it’s a winner for me !

Great layering vanilla! I tried Kayali 28 some time ago so I can’t remember if they’re exactly the same but if you want a cozy brown sugar vanilla for layering this is incredible! I also love it on its own but I can’t help but layer it because it makes everything I own smell ten times better! Longevity is good for Paris Corner. My other PC perfume (Marshmallow Blush) only lasts about 4 hours but this will make it to six if applied generously. Projection is good, nothing too crazy but gets me noticed for sure. I was told I smell amazing by one person and that I smell like cupcakes by another. I love the large bottle because I love to overspray and not worry about running out. Can’t say enough good things about this perfume! Instant favorite!!

One of the best perfumes from Paris Corner and definitely nr 1 dupe for Kayali 28, one that actually lasts. Eshal is probably my favourite vanilla perfume from my whole collection. It's a gourmand with a touch pleasant, youthful rose and beautiful jasmine which are very well blended with musk and the sweet notes of vanilla and caramel. It's deep, smooth and very addictive. It's also my most versatile layering perfume. It pairs with and compliments so many fragrances adding depth and sweetness without unnecessary cloying. Performance is decent; it's not beast mode, but it lasts. Nice bottle and presentation, too. Very good value for money. I love it and I've already got a back up bottle.

Eshal Vanilla just ATE UP the Vanilla 28 replica. Everyone said it couldn’t be done? Eat your words 😏 this is way closer than Elysia Vanilla. It’s all brown sugar goodness, a hint of tonka bean, and just a touch of wood. Smooth, sweet, and cozy, like a 2-year macerated V28 😍 The jasmine and rose are barely there, just blending the magic. Longevity? 8+ hours on skin, DAYS on clothes 🥰 Strong, sensual, and perfect solo or layered Honestly, 90% of the V28 vibe, minor differences aside, and already top 5 Paris Corner release of the year 💖 I’m repurchasing, maybe even grabbing a second to let it age 😏 Can’t wait to try Eshal Musk, I have a feeling it’s going to be just as good!

I don’t own kayali 28 but have ordered one and will review soon . Don’t know about the dupe part . But this fragrance from Paris corner is chefs kiss ! It’s love at first sniff . I only own two perfumes from Paris corner and love this one not a fan of marshmallow blush ! The his fragrance is what I thought Angham Lataffa would be ! This is warmer , cozy not synthetic vanilla at all . I love it . It’s such a well done fragrance a bit spicy warm vanilla . Dry down is amazing as well . It’s beast mode and lasts long . A little goes a long way with this one . Something I would definitely repurchase . It smells four times its price !

Guys. This is seriously so yummy! It's strong sweet vanilla with some florals that are almost fruity to me and maybe a bit of musk to round it out. The box is pretty and it came with a pocket square hankie. We'll have to see about the dry down later on because usually I'm not to into musk and it can develop strongly with my skin, so who knows. Will report back if it ends up being too much, but for now it's fantastic! UPDATE: Dang it! I'm totally getting the musk now, which I do not care for! I will still wear this, though, because those opening notes are just so great and I can probably learn to live with the musk, or layer it.

I love Vanilla 28, it's my signature scent. The only complain with it is that even after maceration it's longevity is still like 6 hours (on clothes it's much longer), so I was very curious to test Eshal from Paris Corner (and trust me, I'm not a huge fan of PC, every fragrance I've tested from them so far was a miss). This is a beast vanilla. It has stayed on my wrist for a whole day (and the bottle is new, I'm curious what will happen after few months!). I've even put it to the test side by side with Vanilla 28 and my fiance preferred Eshal. They are like 90% similar for me.

I have a huge perfume collection and this was one of the best blind buys I’ve ever made! When I first sprayed it I wasn’t impressed and fully sold on it. But once I allowed this to sit and sprayed it on skin that’s when the Magic began! It smells glorious and last all day. This vanilla is much richer and warmer than Vanilla 28. It is ten thousand times better than that one IMO. I definitely recommend this to anyone that loves vanilla based fragrances that can be worn alone or with other fragrances. This plays beautifully on my skin and will forever be in my collection!

I received compliments on this the first time I used it. It is an amazing vanilla fragrance and lasted days on my clothes. The compliments received were even 3 days after I sprayed it, and from a distance - so it says a lot about the performance it has. It is not a juvenile or synthetic smelling vanilla. It is a mature, more refined vanilla. Why buy Kayali when this exists and lasts so well? I think some people's noses do indeed malfunction or they don't let this mature properly because it is a 10/10 beast mode vanilla sweet fragrance. Let it sit first. Will rebuy. 🪄

Love it. I do not have v28 but I’ve smelt it many times and I actually prefer this one, much more feminine and sweet/sugary. It is sexy and mature but not too much! I’m still trying to understand its sillage, not super strong though :( I’d say mid, don’t know if it fills a room but people have been complimenting this one lately. Longevity is super good, it lasts for 2 days on clothes and for 4/5 hours on skin maybe (not sure since I mainly spray on clothes). I’m a La Belle Le parfum JPG lover and this one sort of reminds me of its dry down

I bought this 2 months ago and it was great, but now it's even better! It's a sweet vanilla with a little bit of flowers. The jasmine almost reminds me a little of Kayali Deja vu, although this is very much like Vanilla 28. The musk gives a balance to the sweetness, making it ethereal, classy. I do believe the dry down is a bit too sweet, I would prefer that the musky vanilla continued all the way. I liked when I first bought but it was by no means so remarkable as it is now. It's definitely in my top 10 perfumes. Super worth having.

This is wonderful, a very nice "nod to traditional parfumerie" as the packaging says because it has that very classic powdery florals with a vanilla musk base that emerges more as it dries down. The little scarf is a cute touch and adds to the vintage vibes. It doesn't smell too old ladyish, just a little teensy bit in the best way possible! It reminds me a little bit of Shalimar L'essense at a fraction of the price. Gives a very similar classic vanilla gourmand floral musk feel imo. But I am not saying that it's a dupe.

One of the best musky vanillas ever made. I do not know if it was meant to be a dupe of Kayali's Vanilla 28, which I also like very much, but this one to me is a lot deeper, muskier, darker and more magnetic. It is sweet and a bit spicey, but not gourmand: there is a very distant rosey echo in the background, which sustains the composition. Enormous sillage, it fills a room and is a compliment getter. Absolutely unisex and a masterpiece: 10/10

Eshal reminds me of Casablanca from Swiss Arabian, Eshal being without the apple note, that Casablanca has. I like Eshal a lot. It is fairly new in my collection, so I am hoping the lasting power and projection will improve a little, but it still performs better then, for example, Khair Felicity from Paris Corner. This perfume is a load of delicious vanilla with a hint of musk and soft flowers in the background. I recommend ❤️
