Factory Edition: Camp Fire

Smelling freshly opened bottle and By the fireplace at the same time right now. This is the same smell, very small nuance being that in BTF the smoke from the fireplace is a bit more distinguishable in first 20 minutes or so. 0-20minutes: Thinking of Camp Fire vs BTF imagine two persons sitting at camp fire. The one representing BTF is sitting on the side of camp fire that got a blow of wind pushing the smoke at you, while the other one ( the Emir Camp Fire) sits on the opposite side of the fireplace, experiencing fainter smell of smoke, but they're smelling all the same other aromas that surround them. Around 20 minute mark BTF's smoke subdued to the level of Camp Fire and they're now indistinguishable. Lovely fragrance. Projection -seems tad smaller with campfire, but again, i have literally just opened the bottle, so i treat it on par. Will edit later with longevity comments. Side note: Frustrating atomiser. It's pressurized and when it works it's beautiful, but you need to press it almost perfectly vertically, it's very easy to slightly tilt it off vertical axis and at that point it doesn't push in and just spits drops of juice everywhere instead of a mist. It suuuucks. Not sure if it's just my bottle Edit: it's not just my bottle. Encountered exact same design and problem with some frags from Pendora Scents (same family as Emir/Paris Corner)

Really excellent smelling fragrance perfect for the fall and winter months, overall first impressions of this are very sweet. Only real issue I find with this is that I personally only smell vanilla and cloves, however when I smell the nozzle I'm able to pick up the other notes. Aside from this it's a very good fragrance, long lasting as well (on me it lasts around 6-8 hours). I would like to point out that after like, 20 minutes there's a caramel-ish smell that begins to appear (not a bad thing imo but just wanted to put that out there). I do hope I'm able to pick up on the other notes the more I use it, but still as I said before it's a very good fragrance EDIT: I just realized that the caramel notes I've been smelling is the guaiac wood, alongside some of the vanilla smell it has

This fragrance is great. However up close on skin you can smell the balsams and some other resins, I think cypress, fir. Clone house sometimes create frags which may not be great when sniffing up close, but in the air they're very nice. This is that kind of fragrance. It almost feels like maple syrup, nice opening with that light marshmallow scent. What I like about this fragrance compared to something such as Stronger with you Absolutely is that this fragrance is not that dense and therefore doesn't come across as very cloying when out of the heat. So I think it's more versatile than that fragrance and this fragrance leaves such a lovely trail behind you even if it doesn't radiate as you're sitting very much. I prefer this over Ameer al Oudh Intense. I'm giving it 5/5 stars.

Good by the fireplace clone, pretty close, not quite as smoky but I think that makes it more wearable. Decent performance and at this price I can pump the sprayer with confidence. Way better than Ameer Al Oud which I had to give away. Paris corner have 5 or 6 in this Replica line which are all pretty good but they're not on fragrantica yet. For anyone in Dubai, Paris Corner has a new retail store just down the road from the original in the perfume Souk. It has all the stock whereas the original wholesale store often runs out of stuff. Ask in the original and they will direct you.

So far the best fragrance I have come across. I haven’t tried BTF but I would like to now. Lasts all day on my skin, even longer on my clothes, and projects well. I find I might go slightly nose blind to it and can only smell it as a skin scent but people around me notice it and I do get many compliments with it. At first, it is strong and does smell like a spicy campfire, but it does dry down into a calm, sweet, cozy scent. Longevity 8/10 Projection 8/10 Scent 10/10 Value 8/10 (Value would be higher but the shipping costs a lot to Canada)

Camp Fire is such a cozy fragrance, and I tested mine in summer when most would suffocate from the wood smells. I didn't mind it. My scent memories flashed me straight through to an autumn eve with orange and yellow leaves falling in a gentle, but nippy breeze. We're sitting around a bonfire, eating toasted marshmallows while trading ghost stories from years past... Until one by one, our fellow campers go to sleep, and all that's left in the air is the faint trail of marshmallow heaven and the warm burnt embers touching your soul.

I'm new to this fragrance journey and wow this perfume impressed me, smells really warm and welcoming. The name really make sense. Smells like toasted marshmallows, the opening can be a bit sweet but the dry down is incredible and lasts a long time, has a warm soft oudy vibe after a couple of hours that reveals itself every now and then. Definitely a unisex fragrance which is something I enjoy about it. I'm definitely getting another bottle because because I finished this thing in a month. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Nice warm fragrance that smells similar to By the Fireplace in the sillage but up close has more a more prevalent caramel note. In the drydown it reminds me of a woody incense with a hint of vanilla, very pleasant on the nose. In my opinion the sweetness and vanilla undertones lends itself perfectly for unisex usage, and i am personally getting around 6-7 hours of moderate projection with 3 sprays lasting days when sprayed on clothes.

it’s a very good clone of that by the fireplace dna but it’s got more intense chestnut and vanilla notes and it’s got a calming cashmeran note but this fragrance takes some getting used to it’s a 90% similar clone and honestly it just smells like a better batch overall i’d say this is better than by the fireplace so definitely get this and it performs better

Finally! It's in here. Been a fan of Emir for a bit. I have this one and Rich Santal. They both are great dupes and smell amazing. Bottle is huge and heavy and they smell amazing. This particular one is a bit softer than By The Fireplace, but still amazing. This was a blind buy and I do not regret. On my second bottle.

It's a super synthetic version of MM By the Fireplace but I can't complain cause it's dirt-cheap! 👌 Projects for around an hour or two and stays intimate for about 4-5 hours depending on the weather. Absolutely a no-no for warm and humid summers cause this stuff will make you nauseous.

Upon having it sit for a few weeks, the woody notes come out more and is a little less sweet. I love layering it with Lattafa Nebras and Emir Fire your Desire or Khamrah Qahwah though. Overall, Camp Fire is cozy and is a good amplifier of some of my vanilla fragrances.

I have both this and the original and honestly, this has slightly better longevity (neither is very long lasting) and is slightly sweeter. I marginally prefer this to the original based just on scent, add in the price difference and it's a no brainer.

Wow it really does sme like a campfire. Vanilla, a lot of woody notes, and i get kind of a boozy note like whiskey or rum. Not a safe blind buy tho, it was a 50/50 between liking it or not from my friends. 8,5/10.

this is an art , smells unique who can appreciate .Really seductive smell , 90%same as the original but for me this is so much better, sweeter, easier to wear. 10/10 the original should be the clone for this one.

This fragrance is actually really nice. By the Fireplace, but more creamy and less sweet. It's a bold scent, really. One of the best clones, if not the best. Buy this.

One of my best blind buys - definitely a cozy fall and winter scent, the balsam and chestnut come together and smell like Christmas time.

Camp Fire by Emir Paris Corner seems to have a higher quality than BTF. It projects more and have a good sillage.

I think this is a 'cool' scent that I really like. It leans slightly more feminine than Ameer Al Oud Intense IMO anyway. I don't know what the original is like. But to me, this is light in a good way. (In the same way that Emir Rich Santal is) . It's woody, earthy, sweet and slightly smoky and a wee bit salty too from the chestnut (?). It's really nice. Does not feel like you are wearing perfume. But would make you feel confident wearing it out. If that even makes sense... Maybe this would be daytime and Ameer Al Oud would be night. Definitely unisex.

If you're looking for a by the fireplace clone: This fragrance isn't really what you're looking for. Camp fire lacks the cozy and realistic feel and smell by the fireplace has. The differences are very noticable. The thing i liked about by the fireplace is that it has a warm welcoming feel. This doesn't really have it. I'd say that the peppers are more prominent in this compared to by the fireplace and toned down on the chestnut, smoke and vanilla. Still a nice fragrance tho.

Tested this one and the OG By The Fireplace in store side by side and this one smelled identical with much more performance due to the oil concentration being higher, its a nice perfume worth buying for fall/winter, again, identical with the original, highly recommend it, nailed it!

Same sort of school of thought as By The Fireplace but barely similar enough to count as a dupe - same notes at first glance but sweeter, with much less smoke and more marron glace. I can think of a couple of woody/smoky fragrances that would layer with it nicely.

85% similar to By the fireplace imo, in the beginning a bit juniper heavy for my nose. Bf smells nothing but chestnut and vanilla. Blends nicely with other vanilla fragrances e.g.: December vanilla

It's okay, you get an initial blast of marshmallow vanilla alcohol before it immediately shifts to an earthy, piney, and smokey woods based scent profile for a good 2-3 hours before evolving into a woody vanilla based scent on the dry down. Not bad at all and quite smooth once it settles but definitely smells outdoorsy, smokey and piney for a good few hours before becoming something I'd enjoy wearing. Excellent clone though

didn't really smell like anything on paper, but on my skin it starts to smell woody and just a bit spicy. not quite sure if i'm really getting any kind of smoke or "fire" though? heavy on the balsamic and there's almost a hint of green to it. dries down very close to the skin, and again, not really sure if im smelling much.

I get a liquorice smell that ruins it for me. Not at all like By the fireplace. Ameer Al Ouhd Intense is much closer.

Pretty mid, opening smells you if you got a bag of pepper and threw it in a fire

Doesn't smell anything like a fire or a fireplace. More like melted - but not charred - marshmellows. There is no wood, no smoke, no ash, there is only sweetness.

So horrible, must be a bad batch. 0/10

***Why did i get this perfume and what vibes does it give me*** i was looking for a cheap alternative to by the fireplace by MM and i've already tested ameer al oud intense by lattafa and it was just a cloyingly sweet scent. so based on the reviews the notes the votes ecc i blind bought this(18 euros). when it arrived sprayed it on my arm and was expecting a nice warm vanilla and chestnut , but i found some herbal/woody scent followed by a sweet roasted marshmallow and in the end vanilla , but the herbal smell was still there. for me it was too cloying and i saw myself only wearing it in freezing days like once a month , and even then it wasn't that exciting of an experience . in the end i decided to get rid of it. the vibe that i get with this perfume is me in front of a campfire where i have a marshmallow on a pine stick while someone is making tea or some sort of natural medicine with herbs found in the woods. But the combination of these scents it's nauseating longevity:6-8h projection:moderate occasion: really cold days to feel warm do i raccomend it: if u like woody deep sweet scents yes

It really does get very very close. The main difference is Campfire has this herbal spice thing going on. Smells like Oregano or something similiar, especially in the opening (too much). Like someone chucked a bag of oregano onto the campfire. Though that does seem to help it smell more like an outdoor campfire. Where as By The Fireplace smells like an indoor fireplace. Performance is just average, not very long lasting like BTF. It projects well though. For the price I would definitley call BTF the better value here, especially if you can find one at costco, making this clone mostly pointless

Rich, sweet, slightly smoky caramel and chestnuts. It's very light on the smoke -- i'd describe it more as faint ember-type smoke rather than a full on campfire and the scent is better for it. I've owned Ameer Al Oudh and Raghba Wood Intense but this is miles better -- the spices in 'Camp Fire' are more balanced, the nutty notes are more prominent and the smoke is more gentle.

similar to btf, but on my skin personally it kind of has this bitter chinese medicine note that isnt rlly nice. from afar still 👌. also projects less than btf on me.

I love the fragrance so much... But it just doesn't perform. Zero projection or Sillage.
