Marshmallow Blush

Paris Corner's Marshmallow Blush is a thick, fruity, fluffy, creamy and highly comforting gourmand. I spray her whenever I'm looking for some instantaneous, childish nostalgia and some major cheering up during a rough day. It instantly makes me feel like a little, innocent, giddy, ten-year-old girl, in the best way ever. This is a ten-year-old girl that doesn't know what it means to have to "adult" and constantly worry about things like taking care of children, having a life-partner, keeping a house clean, getting food on the table on time, paying overdue bills, adhering to budgets, or the slog of the twenty-four hour grind. She smells like she snuck into the kitchen after everyone else is fast asleep, first grabbing a big bag of those tiny, scrumptious, fluffy, multi-colored marshmallows from the pantry, then grabbing a cold bottle of thick, sweet strawberry curd from the refrigerator and now she's safely back in her bedroom, under her heavy, fluffy and warm blankets, dipping the marshmallows gently into the curd and delicately dropping the decadently delicious combination into her mouth, while reading, as her flashlight faintly illuminates the pages of her favorite book.

I've had both Cloud Candy and Marshmallow Blush for over 3 months now, and while I absolutely love them both, I prefer Marshmallow Blush. For one, it's closer to YMB in the dry down, in my opinion. And it's more of a "pink" fragrance.... it's sweeter and fruitier, and it's quite bright despite the powderiness (this makes it more wearable in warmer weather). The sillage and longevity are also much better. To my nose, Cloud Candy is much more creamy and powdery, and the musk is much more intense in the dry down. The whipped cream note (that Marshamallow Blush does not include) is very prominent. The tangerine is only present in the immediate opening, and the strawberry isn't very fruity - it's more like a strawberry milk. Basically, if they were colours, Marshmallow Blush would be a pastel pink, and Could Candy would be a dusty rose. I've had compliments on both fragrances, and most people can't seem to tell them apart in the dry down, but I personally definitely notice a difference. They're both very cute, girly and, in my opinion, quite juvenile - so basically perfect for me!

I blind-bought the 100ml bottle for 23EUR, with the goal of duping Kayali. First, I was a little disappointed. Kayali is much more "fresh" and "sparkling", with a more obvious marshmallow note. Marshmallow Blush smelled very fake, strong, and plasticky to me at first. However, even with those the first few sprays, there was already something that had me keep smelling it. There was strawberry, there was lemon, there was musk and something lactonic. Then I left it alone for a week, tried it again, and I was truly surprised how much better it suddenly was. The strawberry smelled less fake, I could smell the raspberry and the florals and the marshmallow. It is quite a powdery, sweet scent. Very sweet, mind you, very gourmand, while also very fruity. For me, the lemon is not noticeable at all anymore. It really does smell like marshmallow and strawberries and cream, though not in a photorealistic way. Can highly recommend. The bottle itself is ugly, yes, but it is fairly well-made. Also, the perfume lasts much long than one would expect from the price.

OMG!!! I love my niche perfumes but this one took me back to my first love when I was 13 years old and I got my first Bath and Body Works lotion and by far still one of their best scents in my eyes 'til this day. Sweet on Paris!!! It was repackaged and rebranded as Whipped Berry Meringue in 2022. This scent is absolutely beautiful. I feel like I need to buy 5+ bottles. It is sweet, cuddly, sugary, delectable and a breath of girly but dainty fresh air. It is so me. I am this girl for life!! It has a young essence and it is perfect for any young lady! I'm in my twenties but I would still wear this in my 40s and beyond. Truly a remarkable fragrance. I own every fragrance you can think of and this has been a pleasant surprise. I am so happy I found my first love again the scent that made me love perfumery. Sweet on Paris. This actually lasts long too which has surprised me as well. I am so happy I randomly bought this wow! Still speechless! God is good; truly a remarkable fragrance! A yummy yummy sweet and cuddly scent from heaven!

So, I bought Marshmallow Blush to stop myself absolutely ploughing through my bottle of Yum Boujee Marshmallow, which has become my signature scent. And you know what? This is great. It's light, creamy, sweet, and for a while, surprisingly similar to the real thing. I wouldn't say it's a quality note-for-note dupe, and Yum Boujee Marshmallow definitely lasts longer and projects more on me, but for the price, this is a fantastic alternative. The strawberry note is sweet, juicy, and downright delicious. There's also this fluffy candyfloss cloud that seems to follow me around whenever I wear it, which I absolutely love. It has that playful, feminine sweetness without becoming overwhelming. It also gets an immediate reaction from my future husband every single time I wear it. He's drawn to this one like a moth to a flame, which is always a good sign. If you're a fan of sweet, creamy gourmand scents and don't fancy spending a fortune, this is well worth picking up. I'd happily buy it again. 🍓
