Mawj Appletini

This has got to be my favorite pickup of 2024 !! So with that said of course it's a LOVE for me To describe Appletini I'd say this is a very apple forward fragrance that smells very fresh and slightly zesty up top but as it dries down it gets more warm, boozy,very slightly spicy and to my nose the longer this stays on your skin the better it smells. I love the apple and rum combo in this and the spice almost smells like cinnamon !! First day I wore this I got complimented by a cashier that said it smelled really,really nice and reminded her of one of her favorite apple/cinnamon candles from Bath and Body works. I can totally see that ! But to me it smells like a very pleasant apple/cinnamon soap. That is very appropriate for the holidays. In comparison to other fragrances I'd say this could easily be in the boss bottled line but to my nose smells the most similar to Lacoste Pour Homme. Appletini could have easily been a Lacoste Pour Homme Intense or EDP !! However , Appletini smells much better. Performance on this excellent as it lasts 8-12 hours and has above average projection and great sillage. In terms of compliments this has been of the best !! Especially today when I wore it for Christmas as it was very well received when I hugged people. Overall rating -9 out of 10 ! Only favorites of mine that are also crowd pleasers get a 9 out of 10 so that tells you how good this is

Nose Note #253 I had Apple Brandy (which is a take on Boss Bottled) and yes, it's similar, but to me the difference is clear as day. It doesn't have the realistic rum note, the apple smells different, the spices are a little different. Everything altogether makes a similar impression, but it's not a very close dupe, maybe 70-80%. Of course, the price of OG to me does not justify the smell difference. But Mawj Appletini really doesn't hit the same and it just smells cheaper or not so well crafted. So far everything I've bought from Paris Corner (7-8 fragrances) were a let down. Some a major let down, some, like Mawj Appletini - a little let down. But all of them smell "cheap". To compare, I haven't had nearly the same experience with Fragrance World, Maison Alhambra, Ard al Zaafaran, Milestone, Emper - almost everything from them really pleased me and considering the dupes - they nailed it almost every time. With Paris Corner it's just not good. And mind you, Paris Corner is generally priced higher than aforementioned... UPD: 7.8/10, well, I started to like it a lot lot better. This is actually stronger than Boss Bottled (but the two are ultimately different fragrances and cannot substitute each other). Not the most nuanced fragrance, but it's just pleasing! Yeah, it lacks nuances so bad, feels plain, but good, really quite good

I bought Mawj Appletini nearly a year ago, sprayed it twice, said “meh,” and banished it to the fragrance graveyard (aka the back of my shelf). Fast forward to today: I was feeling adventurous (read: bored), gave it another go—and BAM. It hits different now. Like it went to therapy and found itself. First spray? Head & Shoulders Apple Shampoo but make it sexy. Clean, crisp, slightly boozy like an apple martini served by someone who knows you had a rough week. It’s the kind of freshness that says, “Yes, I showered. And yes, I’m emotionally stable.” The atomizer isn’t NASA-engineered, but it sprays smooth like it’s got nothing to prove. Sillage? Loud enough to be noticed, not loud enough to get you kicked out of the Uber. And the longevity? A solid 8 hours. That’s like 3 times the attention span of most adults. And now the hot take: Greenly by Parfums de Marly is out here charging rent, and Appletini just broke in, raided the fridge, and still smelled better. Greenly’s the straight-A kid your mom told you to be like. Appletini’s the cool cousin who taught you how to swear and drive stick. Bottom line? If you want a fresh frag with personality, not a sterile “boardroom safe” snoozefest, Appletini is the move. It’s signature-worthy, season-proof, and best of all—doesn’t require a second mortgage. 10/10. Would drink if I could.

I will have to preface this by mentioning that Killian's Apple Brandy on the Rocks is in my top 5 of all time. And this Mawj Appletini just hits the nail right on the head, in ways I didn't even think possible. To me they smell like 95% alike. The main difference being that the clone is a bit more of a sour apple and not as sweet as the OG, but it is negligible. Up close the OG is noticeably smoother, but in the air they are close, scary close. The crazy part is that the clone performs better in preatty much every way. It lasts and projects for longer, it has a more noticeable sillage and all that at what, not even 30€ (and that's for 100ml of juice), all this while the OG costs 10x more and has an anemic performance.

01/13/2026 I got it first impresion really spicy , sweet apple smells like hugo boss bottled but harsh and spicy version. Its very synthetic but I didnt macerate it yet I just opened the box and spray it. Not bad but not my favorite. 07/25/2026 its sitting for very long time I forget I get this and now this is not synthetic or its not burning my nose I can say, very well blended 1 hour good projection after that its become like skin scent and last around 5 6 hours perfect date night fragrance for me

Just received my first ever bottle, after trying Killian's Apple Brandy on the Rocks the other day. Packaging: Got it from aroma concepts, fairly secure packaging. Box, bottle and presentation: The box is fairly cheap looking, but I love the bottle. Personally I still prefer the Killian bottles, but this one is also gorgeous. Smell: Very, very similar to Apple Brandy. Around a 90% match. Green apple with booze, and some spice in there. Amazing.

Smells like a green apple cocktail.. a bit sweet yet fresh, and slightly boozy combination.. unisex but leans to the masculine side. The vanilla note rounds it off and makes this super appealing. Is like a sexier more mature cousin of JPG Ultra Male. Definitely playful and alluring, good for date nights or going out for drinks. I recommend if you enjoy apple fragrances, that aren’t overly sweet. (Bottle looks amazing!)

Very nice boozy and fizzy apple just like the cocktail. I blind bought it based on reviews from here and YouTube and I am not disappointed. Although it is a very good blend just the way it is I believe it will potentially perform better in a couple of months. I would say this is more masculine than unisex since the dry down brings out a lot of Ambroxan and some woods but honestly anyone can wear it. 9/10

When i first smelled this i absolutely couldn't stand it. It was like burnt cardamom and so chemically i couldn't bring myself to wear it. I sprayed it and set it on my shelf. 4 months later, today in fact, i decided to try it out again and i can't believe how different it is. It's everything I hoped, smooth, soft, apple rum perfection and quite close to the OG now. Give this one time it's worth the wait

Completely nails and even amplifies the great sweet scent that carries Apple Brandy, but dials down the boozy aspect. This one is stronger and sweeter, but maybe a tad juvenile by comparison. As a middle aged man I would pick this over Apply Brandy if I'm home alone, but probably prefer the original if I was going out. Either way, this is peak value perfumery. Highly recommended.

It was blind buying and I wasn't wrong at all. It is the first punch of apples and after that fresh uplifting with different side notes. I love Apple Brandy by Kilian and this one is for sure different- more fresher, I didn't feel synthetic smell at all. Should see the longevity after some time.

This smells really good. I've had it for a few months now and after maceration it's got quite a bit stronger. At first I thought it was kinda weak but now it projects well and has above average longevity. 8.5/10. The apple and boozy notes go together very well. Good for spring, fall and winter.

It is not 1:1 with Apply Brandy, but the inspiration is self-evident. Less boozy and sweeter than Apple Brandy. Super cheap and reliable spring/summer/fall fragrance. If you're not willing to pay the premium price for Killian you will be completely happy with Appletini.

Great performance and a very unusual apple-dominant scent. It’s the same apple note Aether Extrait has, which is a Greenley clone. The boozyness stays for a while. Absolute banger, kinda unisex, amazing atomizer. You can rock this in any season.

Apple soap with a vanilla cedar base. Great year-round, but especially nice in the summer. In my opinion, it's quite different from the original aside from retaining the apple note. No rum or brandy here, at least for me.

Unique corker of a scent. Sharp tart apple softens bodied out by unmistakable but not strong brandy with a bit of smooth darkened vanilla. All other notes are complimentary - great perfume out performs rivals...

Very similar to apple brandy on the rocks, even though less boozy and more fruity which makes it more versatile imo.If you like the original one you can not go wrong with this one at this price.

1:1 with Apple Brandy on the Rocks - not much more to say. One of my first fragrances ever was Pomme Trempee on the Rocks from DUA and this is superior to that by a fair margin. Absolute love.

Absolutely amazing fragrance. Love it it’s sweet fresh and boozy. I’ve paid around $70 Aus dollars but I think it shouldn’t be over $50 $60. But still I would say it’s worth buying..

Apple brandy with a sweeter twist. Fruity, boozy, warm, but softened by vanilla and woods. Less bite, more charm like an apple martini that decided to behave.

Freaking love this! Can’t wait for a couple of months to see the improvement, but right out of the gate, this is delightful!

To be honest, not the best inspo of By Kilians Apple Brandy on the Rocks. I had another oil based inspo that was more accurate in replicating the profile and performed better than even the original. I compared both with the original, which blends the notes of apple and brandy cohesively with the background earthy notes. The oil-based one I had replicated that, and it smelled great. This one doesn't get as close in the opening. It opens with so much sweetness it made my head hurt. The apple in the opening is a syrupy and sweet apple accord, along with the overload of rum, it is very cloying in the opening. With that said, though, I like this fragrance, as the dry down for Mawj Appletini hits the nail on the head and gets very close to the original's profile, and will smell great for ~4 hours after it dries down on my skin. Its at this point you get the smooth combo of the apple and the brandy/rum, along with the earthy notes. I am a bit disappointed in it, but I'm not mad since I bought it for black friday on sale, and it has grown on me a lot since I first bought it. I wi as debating on getting rid of it, but after smelling the original and giving this one another chance, its going to stay. With that being said though, I wouldn't go for it for more than $40 USD. Don't blind buy unless you can get it for a good price. Hope this helps.

Well I don't like this nearly as much as I liked Moscow Mule. The opening does smell kind of harsh, but it works. It reminds me of some kind of apple heavy mixed drink that starts out rough if you're a novice, but is kind of smooth if you're a drinker. It kind of opens up with a big blast of all the top and middle notes. I can smell the apple, the booze, the vanilla, the cardamom, and even some pineapple, and maybe some moss. After a while I can start to smell the moss and cedar a bit, but all the other notes seem to hang around quite a bit. So this is an all year long fragrance for any situation, and I would say it shines as a spring and summer fragrance for people who hate fresh or aquatic warm weather fragrances. So those dudes who want to wear Khamra, and Stronger With You fragrances all the time this is a good warm weather fragrance for you. It's not too sweet for the summer heat. I've never smelled the Killian fragrance this is based on, but I've smelled some of those Boss Bottled apple fragrances, and this is kind of in that realm. It gives me 90's-2015 vibes with the cardamom, and apple. It also kind of reminds me of a sweeter, boozy Lattafa Sherif(Greenley clone). Overall I think it's real good, but maybe not my thing, but time will tell.

The dry-down is cozy and pleasant, with a light, lingering trail that stays noticeable without overpowering. The performance is solid, with good longevity and a soft but enjoyable sillage. This is a scent I genuinely enjoy wearing and one that I absolutely love for its juicy, playful character; especially that appletini-inspired twist that makes it so memorable.

For me this is very similar to Lolita lampeka Green Lover and Zara sacred Green Forest. It's differenty the Moss vanilla combination. Both of those fragrances are not my go to, but I do enjoy them on rainy days in the spring. Before I pass judgment on this one I have to wear this in the spring/summer to get a better feel for it. For now I'm thinking about laying this with something with a winter vanilla/rum in it. It's not bad, I just have fragrances in my collection that are very similar to this. I'm hoping the longevity will make this a stand out. After digging deeper into my collection I found layering this with Zara Intense Dark Exclusive as the base makes this perfect to wear in the winter. Thank me later.🤸🏾♂️😏

Smells very nice, fresh out the box the opening is a very crisp, green apple. After that it blends with the pineapple, moss and woody notes but stays very fresh. In my opinion it smells quite synthetic the apple doesnt smell like a real, fresh apple but that isnt bad in any way. Synthetic and realistic aromas both have their place in the fragrance world. Cant say anything about longevity or sillage but vor ~25€ plus shipping ill overspray if i have to, who tf cares. Its imo mainly a spring fragrance, also very good for summer but in a FEW occasions it can be worn in winter or fall, if the setting isnt influenced by temp like when going out to a nice bar for example.

At first spray, it was quite harsh, leaning more masculing maybe due to the overpowering cedarwood note. It was only a tolerable fragrance due to the strong apple note and was already thinking of giving it away. I left it in my shelf and forgot about it for 2 months until today, when I sprayed it again, and it's become sweeter, more fruity to my delight. I can detect cardamom which I tend to gravitate toward, and moss as well; a hit or miss note, but lends freshness and keeps the fragrance from being one overly sweet to my nose. Can't detect any strong boozy smell. I'm ok with that 🤷🏻. I guess I'm keeping this. Might try to experiment layering with it.

I read through most reviews here and decided to go for it based on some reasons. Some say it's better and more musculine than the og, smells better than og, nice appletini...But as I used it today, the opening kept tickling my nose and to me this smells like a fruity apple lemon axe oil....a kid's styled medicinal oil with apple fruity essential oil. ..can't say if I want myself to smell like that ... however the Drydown is much better with the later heart and base notes with a hint of apple sweetness.

Just picked this up. It's a bit jarring in the opening but man, is this a good scent. I like that woody, boozy, apple combo. I smelled the OG a couple of times before and I really liked it. I don't remember if it smells anything like Mawj Appleton but regardless, this one stands on its own as a decent fragrance. The dry down is quite woody, which I like. I can see myself really loving to wear this more and more.

Never smelled the OG. This is in the same vein as the Boss Bottled & Intense, but those are more well-rounded. This is sweeter, with significantly more of a sticky booze accord. The apple is much more prominent. I like it, but I am going to let it sit for a bit to see how it matures. Not bad out-of-the-box, but I think it has more potential... Performance is adequate.

I wear this now, i dont know the actual smell of the original version but this is good. Definitely doesnt have that air fresher smell, its just a lil bit balsamic or aromatic somewhere in between. Only have a lil bit boozyness and the apple scent are always there. Definitely spicy with a hint of woody.

This has a wonderful smell that at first is primarily just a bright red apple. As it starts to dry down I get some booze and spices, then later the vanilla shines. Lasts about 6 hours on skin and projects at arm's length. great looking bottle too.

Fruity, boozy character. Modern crowd-pleaser, all year. 3 stars, long lasting with heavy projection. An ocasional rotation - I need to get used to it. Great for the summer/spring/warm fall

Bright and crisp apple, warms to a boozy, apple pie with some ambroxan and cedar. Really interesting gourmand without being too intense or cloying.

day one.....New out the box....first impression.....the packaging and presentation leave a lot to be desired, immediately looks cheap and fake and screams "I'm a cheap chinese dupe of a popular far more expensive fragrance" at you. first spray.....apple....not much else, fades to a bit of warm cosy cedarwood...vanished in about 20 minutes, strangely got a drift of it later on the breeze, smelt spicy and fresh and the enticingly good apple remained. I tried again the day after and it was stronger but still weak, and day three and again a week later.....again same thing. Its weak, flaccid, lifeless and linear. It does mature a bit on drydown and starts to smell a bit like Althair/Liquid Brun/Art of Nature II but not as defined and not as strong. Then it dies. Its basic and tedious. My impression after wearing this for a few days is it's mediocre and nothing exciting in any way, and hugely overpriced at the current price in Europe of between 40 to 60 Euro/GBP. I wanted to like this but i wore it 4 days over 2 weeks and its got nothing to sell it, it musters shamefully weak projection and the only thing remarkable about it is its huge pricetag for something so obviously cheap, from the ingredients to composition to the packaging. There are cheap dupes (Afnan 9pm or Khamrah for example) and then there are cheap dupes like Mawj Appletini. I guess they think that if they pump up the pricetag for our 5 buck fragrance then people will give it more respect as a genuine contender of higher quality. Mawj Appletini is pointless to own. If i want a weak cheapie of this standard i can get one in a bargain shop for loose change in my pocket that's better than this. No joke. Its firmly in the bargain shop ballpark and i think a lot of these reviews on here and other social media are just flat bullshit by the marketing dept. I really don't get anything from this but weak apple and a touch of cedar basenote. There sure isn't anything else to it from top to bottom. I disappointingly got absolutely zero hint of the alleged brandy or rum which was one of the reasons i wanted it. Its a disaster and its just hugely overpriced in my opinion. Final verdict.......... don't believe social media fragrance reviews, most are genuine, some aren't. A bit like the fragrances themselves.

If you like Apple Brandy on the Rocks by Kilian, I think this is a pretty good alternative, actually. It is a tad synthetic, but all the components are there. The scent opens with a mildly spicy, boozy green apple note that is quite pleasant. But the booziness fades much faster here than the OG. There is a pineapple note that adds astringency and an oakmoss note that adds a bit of herbalness. Pretty well balanced. After 30 minutes, the vanilla starts to be more apparent. Personally, this is where this DNA starts becoming meh for me. I just don't like how it all blends together, and I think the supporting notes are a bit punchy to my nose. I almost get a hairspray vibe.

Apparently this smells like apple brandy by killian, but I haven’t smelt the original so I can’t tell if they smell the same. After spraying this perfume I could smell a strong masculine smell, kinda smells like a cheap men’s aftershave. You can really smell the bergamot and cardamom in it. I do smell the apple in this perfume but it’s not as strong as I thought it would be. You can smell the booziness in this fragrance, giving off that “appletini” drink vibes. I honestly don’t think this is a bad fragrance but it doesn’t smell as good as I thought it would. It’s very masculine leaning and I personally think the original angels share smells so much better.

Bought it for $35, I really don't get much Apple in this, all I get is just vanilla and a bit of alcohol booziness. No spices or apple detected in this. I can never wear this alone, I would have to layer this with lattafa sherif (greenley dupe). Layering the two gives a vanilla powdery apple milkshake scent, quite nice. Compared it to the original Apple Brandy, opening wise, on paper, Appletini is much more vanilla. As it progresses, Appletini becomes less appley and even more vanilla with hints of apple. Apple brandy is definitely more green and non linear in this one. For $35, just get this

opening seems fine to me. never smelled original. this isn’t that great. the apple in this is very soapy to me and it ruins the hint of cognac i’m getting. it’s certainly an inoffensive scent but not something i’d ever wear.
