Minya Caramel Dulce

I just got it. I love it. Blind buy (and I am not a fan of every arabian scent, dupe, I think that Lattafas Eclaire smells like fake sweets melted on a plastic plate, instant scrubber). I dont get popcorn and not butter either. For the first half an hour or maybe more I get very realistic Ferrero Rocher (European brand) candy (sweet chocolate and nuts, hazel nuts most likely). Then it settles and I get the base notes - caramel, vanilla, sugar (not as much brown, that one is a bit bitter, earthy, I dont have it here). I would be in heaven if that first half an hour / hour lasted all the wear, but it still is really nice.

Im very confused by some of the reviews here... im wearing minya caramel dulce right now and as im reading some of these im like whaaatttt?!? Now , um a fan of deep heavy gourmands snd thats exactly what this is. I pick up the popcorn note a bit, and the nutty notes as well, but idt they are overwhelming. To me this perfume smells like a mix of decadent desserts. Besides the notes I mentioned there's also vanilla, caramel and an almost cookie aspect. I think its scrumptious, and im usually not a fan of popcorn notes in fragrances.

I love this, I fell in love with first spray on my wrist. I dont get any butter nor popcorn luckily, I was afraid of these notes. To me it is juicy, fruity (but I am not able to tell what furit) almost like syrupy scent with caramel and a hint of cookies. It is warm sweet syrupy scent to me. Unfortunately the longevity is not good but for the price I dont mind.

i bought a sample and looove this!! like eating a caramel popcorn ball on halloween night with slight campfire smoke wafting in the background. kiiiinda like cheirosa 71 but made more sultry and suitable for cooler weather. gonna have to immediately buy a full size because it really works on my skin

Need to sit but already soo niice. Caramely, Popcorny but with chocolate et Spices (from resines) ! These spices make it soo unique. Gourmand spicy. Let it macerat a while and do listen to the people that have no noise and say it's just butter and popcorn, because it's not. It's a refine dulce

Reviews were telling me better not, but I went against them and it was a great decision. Beautiful gourmand. Nutty, caramel popcorn with some drops of burnt sugar plus flowers lingering in the background. Perfection.

I don't know what's wrong with the people who reviewed this fragrance but you can totally smell the popcorn and the butter in the opening, it is a bit salty then it turns sweet. In the dry down it smells like caramel popcorn, a really nice gourmand with moderate sillage. I am not the biggest fan of popcorn but if you like that note specifically, get it, you won't regret it!

Despite the name and the notes, this has nothing of sweet (in a Gourmand sense) nor Caramel popcorn to my nose. All I get is the spices. I have mixed feelings about it. It is VERY similar to Mugler's Womanity, a perfume I used to love and wear years back. Today, I am not sure I could enjoy such a perfume and wear it on a regular basis.

It was very weird in the beginning, It was an sour/metallic scent, but when it dried down, it got better. You can smell the butter and the popcorn a lot. I recommend to layering this one with Carashmellow from ESSNCE, LOVELY! <3 And the bottle, OMG, STUNNING! Maybe I bought this perfume because of the bottle hihi ^^

Paper test: This is definitely a gourmand. The buttery popcorn hits first and there is chocolate and a nuttiness. It's sweet and strong, I could see this as being too heavy and somewhat cloying. I like it but I don't know that I would want it on my chest/neck close to my nose, it might be too much.

Got this one for my tween daughter, I enjoy the scent as its a playful gourmand. Smells really yummy to be honest, but not sure about smelling this yummy on a person. The popcorn smell is definitely there, 4 weeks of sitting in the cupboard made this one extra nice.

It's really good for the price. I smell sdj cheriosa71 but this one is sweeter and better. Also i think the chestnut note suits it really well.

This perfume is strictly butter very little popcorn. at first the alcohol is quite intense especially because of the strenght of the benzoin. If you specifically want a caramel scent this is not the one. It's a more complicated version of demter's creme anglaise. It could pair well with it especially to ddrown the benzoin a bit. The chocolate is present but it smells more like white chocolate because of the intensity of the butter. The spice of the benzoin is taking me out a bit especially that this is supposed to be gourmand. The nuttiness of the chestnut adds more to the nuttiness but in a way that makes the perfume more creamy it's more buttery. The sugar and vanilla are an afterthought. Overall it's a 7/10 perfume. Maybe after maceration it will smell greater. It's around 60 degrees now so i assume when it gets a bit colder it will get better then I will update my review. YAY

Initially on my skin this perfume smells exactly like sweeter version of Thierry Mugler Womanity with added caramel. I am a fan of discontinued Womanity and got very exited about this perfume, but Unfortunately this beautiful state doesn’t last very long, and the perfume dries down to quite generic savoury caramel. It’s not bad, but it’s not anything very special either.

This is so bad to my nose, never blind buying again. So so so bad. Update 1: It's been a week and I sprayed it again. It's more palatable now, the headache inducing note I smelt before has tampered down by 60%. I'm still deciding how I feel about this, I will update again after some time. Update 2: I couldn't do it, just not my cup of tea. Sold it

This is not 71 cheriosa dupe. Cheriosa is one of My favorite scent and this is far from it. Its sweet, edible vanilla with something nutty but I also smell something metalic. Idnk maybe it needs to macerate? But I am not fan of maceration, i either like perfume or not. This was blind buy and luckily it costed only 20€.

This was my sign to stop blind buying perfumes. To me, it literally smells like a movie theater, as if I showered in a bucket of buttery popcorn. That’s all I get from it, and unfortunately, it’s not something I want to smell like. I personally can’t imagine wearing this fragrance, but if smelling like popcorn is your thing, you might feel differently. For me, it’s a hard pass.

Very cloying, but I have had some good luck with layering... adding more woody notes. It is nice to wear to bed, it’s comforting. It’s far nicer in the dry down. Carmel vanilla popcorn about sums it up.

Hm this is so chestnut heavy I dont think I get alot of the other notes..I'm glad I tested it as I think I prefer hazelnut, almond and pistachio to chestnut.

I have no idea if I got a bad batch but I was so hyped looking at the notes, however it just smells straight up like w33d on my skin. Just horrible.

Bough this as a sample to try it. I love everything sweet, but... I had 2 sniffs and gagged from how horrible this is... Yes it does smell like caramel popcorn (which I love the smell of actual caramel popcorn), but I think what my personal ick about this smell is that there is a chesnut note. I can't stand any fragrance with any type of nutty note and although the "nuttyness" is faint i just can't... The caramel itself is weird and different in a way that I don't like it as well. This whole perfume is just "off" :(

This is absolutely horrible! It is SO stinky. When i first sprayed this, I sniffed something I cannot describe but harsh, strong chemicals mixed with chestnuts. It was not good, I got none of the sweet notes at all from the base, lest the chocolate. Just atrocious. I did not even want to wait for it to mature so I returned asap. Crazy how everyone's nose is different but with this one I nearly gagged and I have never done that before lol.

Nauseating.. this is like one of those dessert concoctions you make as a kid because you think all those ingredients all taste good separate so they must taste good together right ?! Wrong! And your poor parents had to try it anyway.. this is that .. but in perfume form. A jumble of Gourmand ingredients that have no business together. The butter note? Try country crock margarine..

Awful 😞 The opening to the dry down was just not it for me. It was a mixture of something rancid, like sour nuts and a lot of benzoin. I don't get any sweetness at all even in the dry down, just a hint of butter and something so extremely sour. This was a scrubber.

it is incredibly artificial and one of the most unappealing fragrances to me, i wanted to love this one but after trying it, it radiates just pure buttered popcorn with an intense synthetic caramel. def not for me.

If you're a fan of Vivamor Caramel Pop or Khadlaj Caramel Pop, you'll absolutely adore this 🍿 fragrance! Its a soft delicious creamy buttery vanilla, very unoffensive, not screechy at all and not overwhelming.It smells like buttercream frosting. Strong vanillas give me a migrane sometimes but this one is really soft and kind of a skin scent, it doesnt project much and disappears fast , imo there is nothing to dislike at all. Im considering a full bottle, but the longevity is a bit disappointing.

Wo how can a perfume with these notes smell so basic? None of the listed notes come through, and it’s not sweet at all. How does it end up smelling this generic? I honestly can’t understand it. I’m a gourmand guy I want to smell like popcorn and sweets, and I want it to smell realistic. This perfume is very far from what the notes promise. I’m so disappointed.

Yes I smell Butter yes I smell popcorn.... The perfume clearly states those are the opening scents... So Im confused when people are complaining about smelling popcorn Anyways I am a Gourmand lover and I absolutely love this perfume. It's sooo delish! Absolutely delicious. Cheirosa 62 is Soo similar. I love this perfume.

The chestnut note is overwhelmingly strong, its all I can smell. Really not a fan of this. I love cheirosa 71 and Molten Caramel, which Minya is compared to. Minya does NOT smell like those at all.

If you wanna smell like corn chips, this is the way to go. I tried it in the car went back and returned it at TJ Maxx and it was 20 bucks but I still didn’t feel like it was worth 20 bucks.

All I smell is movie theater popcorn. I don’t smell any of the other notes at all. Very odd fragrance and a bit confusing why they named it “Caramel Dulce” instead of “Buttered Popcorn”.

It smells like the notes and commenters are upset by it smelling like the notes. Got it. Maybe people are confusing this one with the green bottle Minya?

If you don’t like sol de janeiro 71 or 62, you won’t like this. It’s nothing new or unique but I like gourmand heavy fragrances so I don’t mind this.

Why did they have to put chocolate in it? The note breakdown would have been perfect if it wasn't for that.

This is so good ! Definitely giving the circ de solei and dulzura vibes ... this is soooo good yes 🙌🏼
