Molten Caramel

Let’s set the 71 comparisons down for a minute and talk Molten Caramel. This is a terrific gourmand! It’s pretty and decadent. I’m glad I bought this because if there’s one thing I love, it’s smelling like a dessert. To my nose this is a lactonic caramel bomb. Despite not having popcorn or toasted coconut listed in the notes I get hints of those scents. I mainly get white chocolate, caramel and milk. Personally, the milk note seems to be persistent on my skin. If you’ve had those candy coated almonds before, the drydown after several hours on skin smells EXACTLY like what those taste like, it sounds weird to explain but I had most of my fam take a whiff and they agreed that the drydown smelled like those candied almonds, which that scent alone is insanely nostalgic to me as those were some of my favorite snacks growing up! 🥰 It’s important to note that I didn’t buy MC with the expectation or even knowledge that it would be similar to something else. I saw the notes and knew I had to have it! I made the purchase because I had the extra bucks. When it arrived I dove right in and was happy with it. After 5-10 minutes I started to notice it was smelling similar to 71.... In terms of performance, MC has great longevity and projection. On skin it’s lasted me overnight and I can smell a subtle vanilla the next morning. I get a whiff of it after a few days on clothing when I’m sorting laundry. Keep in mind, MC is a true gourmand whereas 71 is a floral gourmand BUT I would be a rotten liar if I declared MC doesn’t smell like 71 AT ALL. As MC progresses, 71 looms in the background of my scent memory. There’s different nuances between them, but they also possess similarities that are undeniable to my honker. They’re quite similar after a while. They don’t STAY similar, so they’re not identical nor fraternal twins, but I’d go so far as to say they’re definitely cousins. Overall, if you wanted to know what MC smells similar to in order to make an informed purchase, go ahead and test 71. If you like 71 you’d probably love MC. Comparing them is a safe bet in the same way testing Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar to ascertain if you’d like Sabrina Carpenter’s Sweet Tooth is. They smell similar enough despite having different notes listed! If you’re a true gourmand lover, this would be a safe blind buy for you regardless.

You will pick up butter, chocolate, caramel, vanilla and popcorn on the nose. There are no other notes to give. This may truly be the only blind buy fragrance you'll ever pick up that isn't a blind buy because everyone can identify the specific aroma it gives off immediately. This is an insanely accurate gourmand fragrance. There is absolutely no mistaking what the deal is here. It really comes down to whether or not you relish the idea of smelling like butter caramel popcorn. There is no complexity or nuance beyond this description. Performance is insanely strong, people will flock to you in cooler weather if you use this. They also might run away if you use it in warm weather where it risks becoming cloying to the noses around you. Younger users and gourmand lovers will enjoy this, older users may have a problem with it. Especially if they already dislike sweet fragrances. It's unisex and male users may likely be surprised to find it's actually a good wear for them. It's great for intimate occasions and date nights but should not be used in professional settings or during somber occasions. Bottom line: if you're a gourmand lover, you absolutely must get this. I'm one myself and own many gourmands and not a single one of them has ever replicated a single specific food item like this one does. Highly recommended, particularly for gourmand lovers. Everyone else... still highly recommended, but just know what you're getting into.

My initial impression(before letting it sit for a few months); Simply put, it's a more well blended version of Cheirosa 71. The caramel popcorn is definitely there but it's smoother and giving a bit of peanut butter cups for me. The dry down is a little more forgiving with just hints of the sweets lingering above a more nutty base. The scent is quite strong from first spray with decent longevity and moderate projection so far. I'm hoping the performance will get a bit stronger with time and I believe it will. This scent is only for those that love super realistic sweet gourmands. If you don't, stay far away. Leans slightly feminine but could work for some guys I believe. Very happy with purchase. Edited with 3 months update: That caramel popcorn that was so strong has completely morphed into caramelized nuts. It's been sitting in a specific drawer where I keep all my new ME fragrances for the first 3-6 months. So I've not tried this in over a month and I'm very surprised the popcorn is gone. Still delicious but different. I think I may like it even better now tbh. :D Edited with a 6 months & last update: I super love this fragrance but I've found that Paris Corner scents don't seem to be the best performers. And if they are, it usually takes them longer than other brands to hit their peak imo. This isn't bad though....As I said previously, it comes across strongly when first sprayed but then settles down a bit. It's still noticeable. I wouldn't be happy with it if I couldn't smell it for very long. It's in what I'd call a good moderate range with it's longevity and projection. And layering/wearing with other scents has extended it's overall performance for me. Surprisingly, it pairs really well with so many of my other fragrances......far more than I originally thought it would. Very happy with it and glad to have it in my collection.

Before I begin this review of Paris Corner's Molten Caramel, it should be noted that Paris Corner's Molten Caramel is currently on my top ten list, of all of the fragrances in my collection, so I may be just a little bias, as I write this review, so do what you will with any information that I provide here. In my humble OPINION (so, please don't come for me...), Paris Corner's Molten Caramel is a 100% beast mode fragrance. It's also a fragrance that is VERY aptly named, in that it immediately and authentically depicts the fragrance you will smell, as soon as you spray it, in ABUNDANCE. Paris Corner's Molten Caramel too, is genuinely one of the only fragrances available today that mirrors a true-to-life, non-synthetic, 100% consistent, extra-large bucket of fresh, warm, caramel popcorn that you'd buy at a carnival, from the very first to the very last spray. With zero alcohol detection, Paris Corner's Molten Caramel is a GREAT fragrance for people who enjoy gourmands, but also possess olfactory senses that are highly sensitive to alcohol. Now, there are a lot of people who will say with 100% confidence, that Paris Corner's Molten Caramel is nearly a 1:1 duplication of Sol de Janeiro - Cheirosa 71. I would HIGHLY disagree, as Sol de Janeiro - Cheirosa 71 has these PROMINENT, floral vanilla and coconut blossom notes, HEAVY macadamia nut and woody tonka bean notes, and just a HINT of a sea salt note intermingling within the caramel fragrance, that is Sol de Janeiro - Cheirosa 71. Whereas Paris Corner's Molten Caramel has none of these hints of salt, prominent florals, or heavy nutty and woody notes.

Molten Caramel by PARIS CORNER 10/10 🥞🤎🍪🥛🍿 I absolutely love this perfume. It is pure gourmand joy. It’s rich in caramel and white chocolate, smells incredibly delicious if I could eat it, I would. Imagine a mix of caramel milkshake or warm caramel popcorn drizzled with white chocolate. Or fresh cinnamon pancakes! That's the smell. The vanilla is yet very strong, giving it an intense toffee-like sweetness but a caramelish Toffee instead of coffeeish This is a very sweet scent almost “diabetes-level” sweet and I love it with my whole heart. It’s my everyday perfume as a barista, because I’m obsessed with everything sweet. However, be cautious: if you don’t enjoy very sweet fragrances or prefer something subtle, this is not for you. Some people might find it teenage or even slightly childish. I personally don’t mind that at all, but it’s definitely not a scent for a “mature woman” image. It’s playful, cozy, and unapologetically sweet. For me, this is the best dupe for Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 71. It’s also quite affordable (around 40€ on Amazon) and honestly one of the best blind buys I’ve ever made. It layers beautifully with other sweet vanilla fragrances like Vanilla Cake or Chocolate Greedy by Montale. I also love pairing it with Sabrina Carpenter Espresso for the ultimate “barista smell” (as if I wouldn’t already smell like coffee after work xd). Performance-wise, it’s moderate to strong. You don’t need many sprays for others to notice you, and it lasts very long on clothes. Overall: extremely feminine, edible, cozy, and addictive. Would absolutely buy again. 🥃🍯☕

Babes!! This perfume smells exactly like Merry Cookie by Bath & Body Works! If you have that, I highly recommend you purchase this for an amazing, sweet, and buttery vanilla sugar cookie combo. The notes for Merry Cookie are buttery shortbread, vanilla bourbon icing, and spun sugar. This perfume is very sweet, so use it at your own risk! I love sickly sweet scents, so it's perfect for me, but be mindful of how much you're spraying. I believe 2 on your wrists is enough. I also agree that this is a perfect dupe for Cheirosa 71 by SDJ. I smelled 71 in stores and passed on it; I'll spend $25-38 on a perfume, but certainly not a body mist! But the delightful blend of tonka bean, white chocolate, and caramelized vanilla has always lingered on the back of my mind. I've been thinking about it since the day I smelled it, but I could never justify paying so much for a mist that lasts 10 seconds (or maybe it lasts more! I'm judging the performance based on my "eh" experience of 62). When I saw the notes of Molten Caramel, I knew that I had finally found a perfume version of 71, and it didn't disappoint. I give this a 10/10. Results and ratings may vary, but I highly recommend this to all the gourmand girls! ♡

smells almost EXACTLY like tubbees sweet caramel to me. same price point too, 50ml sweet caramel was 15 euros for me and my 100ml molten caramel was 30 lol. its alright, i really like the tubbees scent so im glad i have more of it technically, because ive already gone through half my bottle in the past 2 months. but i was hoping for something else with molten caramel. i was expecting more caramel,,, lol more depth ? but to me both fragrances just smell like warm milk with honey (or caramel, i guess, but very faint) currently being heated up in the microwave. its nice, cozy, soft and warm but ahhh. >.< to be fair though, molten caramel is definitely smoother than the tubbees. idk how to explain it but the tubbees scent makes me sneeze so badly whenever i spray it, and it does sting a little sometimes. i didnt have that with molten caramel ! very smooth and soft blend :3 i also feel like projection isnt great. either that, or people around me are too shy to tell me that i smell like pure diabetes. i oversprayed this SO hard the other day while hanging out with some (new) friends in a warm room and no one said a thing ( x _ x ). i could smell it on myself but not sure how far it projected !!

I just got it today. I can smell the butteriness of it, but it's not dominating the scent. Personally, I don't get a Popcorn note. Actually, the White Chocolate is reminding me of condensed milk being transformed into caramel. Plus, I LOVE the base notes. The praline is very noticeable - I love its nuttiness. Brown sugar is one of my favorite notes, so I am really hoping it's presence becomes more potent. The notes advertised are accurate. This is a really nice Caramel scent. As the last person acknowledged, it does remind me of TJ Maxx's Pistachio & Praline perfume. ** I've had this for about a month now. This perfume has become one of my favorite go-to's. It reminds me of something that would be drizzled on top of ice cream. It's a beautiful scent. Yes, I do get my dearly loved brown sugar scent in the drydown. A simple elegant design. The bottle has a nice presence to it... The roundness of this bottle wraps very nicely into my hands. It's got this chunkiness to it, but not in a way that is unappealing.

This perfume actually brought a tear to my eye the first time I smelt it, after yearsssss of searching high and low for a long lasting perfume that smells the same as sdj 71 I have finally found one and it truly does smell identical to me and I’m so excited to start layering them to make the scent last longer and stronger! I have tried sooo many 71 dupe recommendations in the past and nothing has ever come close to it other than this! This is such a gorgeous and cosy scent and I always get sooo many compliments when I’ve got it on. Finally a sweet vanilla gourmand perfume that doesn’t have any spice, floral or oud notes in it, I genuinely have nothing but praises for this perfume but that being said, not everyone will get along with this especially if you’re one of those people that gets major popcorn vibes from sdj 71-I never have personally but can understand how some people do. Anyway, I cannot wait to start layering this with 71 as my main everyday scent! It’s like a warm comforting hug in a bottle!

Absoloutely beautiful and buttery caramel. I was slightly worried about butter becoming more milky which is nausating to me but it wasn't. However, if you're looking for a dupe for 71 this is not the one. I'm surprised that this was even a part of this conversation. This perfume is straight white chocolate very strong and no strong alcohol. It's very odd that some people mention stuff like it's filled with alcohol well yeah thats why it's a perfume not straight oud so check yourself. Besides the point, after the chocolate you're absolutely surrounded by caramel and praline. The 71 smells like salted caramel and carmaltized vanilla. It's gourmand and delicious but salty. Molten caramel is not salty or floral at all. They can mix if you want them too. And let's stop saying dupe to everything that is not French based or niche. Just because it reminds of a perfume doesn't mean they're trying to replicate it. Not always. Education is important guys. Get it while you can! Overall 10/10

I chose it to be my first Arab perfume. In general I'm not a gourmand girl- I prefer very fruity, sweet smells and all caramel/vanilla scents smelled to me like a very cheap candle... I bought Molten Caramel because of all the comments that say that it's the same as SDJ 71 (and I really liked it but I was searching for perfumes). At first I was shocked. I didn't expect it to be SO good. It smells EXACTLY like a caramel popcorn that you can buy at a cinema. The first note is not a white chocolate, it's butter, but it's sooo real I couldn't believe. It's super creamy and heavy butter with caramel. I also get a little bit of that caramelized popcorn but in a good way. I love it so much but I wouldn't recommend it as blind buy if you haven't smell SDJ 71 because it's not for everyone.

This is my absolute favorite ever! I initially got a sample and liked it but was not so sure about it because it truly did smell like caramel popcorn to me. However, as it set on my skin, it became super delicious! Very gourmand and sweet. I could sniff the brown sugar, the white chocolate and the caramel more on my skin. Truly beautiful. I will say that I do not smell caramel popcorn anymore, and it could be that my nose is used to the scent itself or maybe as it matures it changes from that scent. I adore it. This is also SUPER strong and can cause migraines so be careful. This can be very cloying in hotter temperatures as well. Oh and do yourself a favor and pair this with the Philosophy Fresh Cream lotion. You're welcome :)

Did you see the notes of this perfume? Aren’t they gourmand PERFECTION? I think they are! You can really smell caramel, white chocolate, and brown sugar, and there’s no alcohol scent like in other cheap perfumes. There’s no funky burnt rubber smell either. However, Molten Caramel does have a slightly strange bread-like scent, like caramel bread. It’s unusual, but I still like it. If you’re a vanilla, caramel, brown sugar kind of person, you’ll love this perfume. And if you like Eclaire, you won’t just like this one, you’ll love it. It lasts so long, it’s crazy! For a cheap perfume, I was so surprised that I could still smell it even after a few hours. I even think this is a safe blind buy for gourmand lovers.

Only fragrance I will ever need. Period. Yummy!! I tend to not like " popular" fragrance. And, I am not a perfume snob. A perfume could cost very little $$ , it makes no difference to me. This scent, Molten Caramel, is absolutely perfect on me. Beast mode & gorgeous. It was a blind buy, & honestly, my blind buys don't go well. HaHa! Until now. ... For reference, I can't stand the smell of these: Bare Vanilla, Vacation, Sol De Janeiro 62, Chocolate Amber, Smokey fragrances, Bronze Goddess, Kismet & more. I adore Choco Musk, Demeter Devils Food, Cheirosa 71, Coconut Passion, Cotton Candy Clouds, D&G Feminine. Even though I like these ^^, nothing, & I do mean nothing, smells better on me than Molten Caramel.

To me, it smells a LOT like SDJ 71. I also get that nutty, popcorn scent, reminds me of white chocolate coulant or butter cookies. I don't think it's that strong, though... I heard it's a perfume with a strong sillage and a good longevity, however so far it seems pretty average. Only good if you're a gourmand enjoyer really. I can see how it can be cloying to people, but personally I LOVE it. It's smooth and a little milky. Makes me a little hungry. I don't smell the synthetic at all, in fact I think it's a pretty realistic smell. At first it has an almond-corn like smell I don't love (though that's just my personal taste) but the dry down is beautiful and yummy.

Freshly baked buttery, scrumptious gingerbread. Straight from the oven and wafting around your home. This is Molten Caramel by Paris Corner. By Toutatis this is insanely mouthwatering, photorealistic scent that has the right amount of sweetness, buttery, buiscuity facets. I've had this for 3-4 days, and my dent is already down by 25%. I own overpriced gourmands like Jany Sora Dora, Mirage Gourmand, Gâteau à l'Ananas and THIS is UP THERE in quality with THEM. Honestly this one deserves the social media hype. Immensely well done photorealistic gourmand, perfect for spicy evenings if you want to become an edible dessert for your special someones hehehe.

Beast mode Cheirosa '71 (rejoice!) ...and at an affordable non-niche price tag! Bravo Paris Corner for beating Sol De Janeiro to the EDPunch! I've been waiting for SDJ to come out with a '71 EDP (but let's be honest, '62 EDP isn't a carbon copy of '62 body spray anyway) so now I don't need to wait! On my first wear test after it arrived in the post in the afternoon, this lasted on my skin until the next morning...about 13 hours! BTW - I have Eclaire, and they are not similar except that they are gourmand... I also have Jousset Accident A La Vanille and while I agree that it’s an excellent edp version of ‘71...it lasts about 3 minutes on my skin!

Oh wouah this is damned good ! 90% Cheirosa 71 and it lasts forever with 2 or 3 sprays. I love SDJ71 but I stopped buying because my brain was getting something off not always but more and more. I don’t have this feeling with Molten Caramel. You have to love sticky sweet edible gourmands to appreciate. Don’t be frightened by the nuclear slight burnt caramel smell when sprayed, it settles down into a sweet chocolate vanilla cake with liquid buttery caramel on top. In the drydown I litterally can smell all together this hot thick chocolate with churros in cafeterias of the north of Spain. Dream scent 😍

Delicious delectable molten caramel and white chocolate poured all over popcorn. If that’s your vibe, you will love this. It does come off buttery, so if you don’t like butter/popcorn type of notes, you may not enjoy this. This is a photorealistic gourmand scent that smells so good that you literally want to eat it. For those that enjoy a playful, fun, gourmand scent for running errands, chilling at home, hanging with friends, etc.. Perfect for fall, winter, and spring depending how hot it gets where you live. I just wear it indoors when it’s too hot outside. It’s perfect with the AC blowing :)

lol This literally smells like kettle corn! I can't believe how much I love this. It's so whimsical and fun!!! It definitely reminds me of a scent you would get in a candle or wax melt, but that doesn't bother me. If you like your perfume to smell perfumey, this does NOT. This smells like something Demeter would put out. I just got my bottle so I don't know how the longevity is, but I love the smell right out of the gate! I didn't have any plans to try Date Caramel but now I feel like I have to. Also, yay for a gourmand scent with NO floral notes!! I couldn't be happier!
