It’s loud, magnetic, alive. More Roman piazza than desert market a touch of amber, a whisper of cream, In a large sunny smile bottled for $28. If sunshine had swagger, if joy had a pulse, it would smell like this — the cheapie that feels like freedom. Linear orange candy ? Nahh that could never generate a story like this 😂 Neither can the haters. Your turn

This is an absolute gem, especially if you love bright, citrusy fragrances. It definitely has a resemblance to Afternoon Swim, but to me, it leans more into the mandarin note. I will describe the overall scent as candied orange, being citrusy with a bit of sweetness without going overboard. It's fresh, uplifting, and just flat-out stunning. I like it even more than the Afternoon Swim sample i have! In my opinion, North Stag is about 80% similar to Afternoon Swim but leans more toward sweet mandarin or candied orange. While Afternoon Swim has a lighter, more airy and aquatic orange vibe. This is my review right after unboxing it and spraying a couple of times, so I'm really happy with my purchase. Furthermore, I agree 100% with the comment below me.

North Stag IV is an absolute delight to the nostrils, from the first spray you have an explosion of juicy sweet orange smell, dries down to a sweet orange, musky and slightly salty/spicy scent. I would call it a twist on LV Afternoon Swim. It has that musky, orange smell but the saltiness/ambergris/swimming pool note is toned down a lot compared to Afternoon Swim. Quality is outstanding, no harsh smell in the opening, it even smells very natural from the first spray. I prefer North Stag IV over Afternoon Swim, the heavy salty marine accord makes me nauseous in LV Afternoon Swim. If you want LVAfternoon swim with more orange and less saltiness/ambergris, get North Stag IV. The perfect warm weather scent and 100% unisex.

My Clinique Happy Men is running out and I needed something to scratch my orange itch. I can't afford LV, and I don't want a clone fragrance that also clones the bottle. That's why I got this. I never smelled Afternoon Swim but this thing is amazing from opening to drydown! One spray filled my room for a minute. It's not orange rind, more like orange candy drops or orange juice due to the sweetness. Dries down to something like fresh laundry washed with citrus detergent. Totally unisex. Great for post-shower, gym, slacking around the house, or running errands on a summer day. Lasts for 5 hours but I imagine if this lasted any longer it wouldn't be as zesty as it is.

I don't view this as an Afternoon Swim dupe personally, but I will say this sort of makes me think this is what Afternoon Swim would smell like if it was turned into a lifesaver, at least in the dry down. There's a slight sweetness to it in said dry down... not in an overtly artificial way, but I can get why people may think otherwise. This is more of a fresh orange peel, slightly fizzy mandarin soda scent, though the sweetness is toned down. Lasts longer than AS on me, which kind of shocks me. One of my new favorites for the spring/summer, love it for what it is. PS: bonus points for the incredible packaging. Felt very premium opening the box!

Smells like an orange starburst. Great daily wear for summer. Opens with a sweet mandarin orange reminds me very slightly of bergamasks opening without the hint of sweat bergamask has. Drys down into a more fizzy orange with abit of ginger which somehow makes it smell exactly like a starburst. It has decent performance I need to let it macerate though but for a citrus it’s not bad and because it’s so cheap just reapplying all the time is a good move. Price:10/10 Projection: 7 Longevity: 6.5 Scent: 9.4/10 Overall 9/10

I like this! I never smelled Afternoon swim, but i really have to! I always loved citrus fragrances, and i bought Jean Lowe Azure from Maison Alhambra just for that reason, and i love that scent. Then i found out its a 'dupe' for afternoon swim, so i got this. And yes, i love it to. Now i have the Pinnace Oryn on the way to. I have over 100 perfrumes, and this is my new favorite scent profile! The scent is fizzy orange with some other citrus to keep it fresh and alive, and for the price its an amazing citrus scent.

Gorgeous package and the bottle.... No, it doesn't have ambroxan/ambergris in it. The notes listed on the box are like here presented but no ginger... On the box there are literally 3 ingredients: mandarine orange, Sicilian orange and bergamot.... Nothing else. This literally smells like orange peel and orange juice... I wanted a perfume that smells just like oranges and this is the one... It's a king of orange fruit parfumes. It lasts for a whole day but it's not intrusive... Very fresh and rejuvenating. 🧡🍊🍊🍊🍊🧡

Not really afternoon swim, but personally, I think it's better. Loses a significant amount of the aquatic pool smell, and ramps up the orange fizz. You still get some aquatic-ness when it's fully aged, but it's all in service of the almost Orangina profile. You still get a bit of ginger, but it's much more mellow. That being said the performance is pretty mid, but that doesn't matter much when it's this cheap. Just keep spraying. It doesn't get old. Love this and I'm buying backup bottles when they go on sale.

Sexy orange juice. The best, mostly orange based cologne Ive ever smelled at any price point. It does have noticeable LV Afternoon Swim elements, which it just enhances this fresh, juicy watery profile to quite sophisticated complexity - for being mostly just an "orange scent". The more you smell this, the more you fall in love with it. It does remind me of "Orange Sanguine", but dare I say even better. I get plenty of performance and longevity in the hot weather, that sparkling gingery effect lasts plenty.

I got it yesterday and have to say my first impressions are that I think there's something there that makes it generically middle-eastern frag. Like, I went through a period when I was younger when I put Tomato Sauce on all fish and food that I was not a fan of, Libbys or Huntz. But that made anything taste the same. I like the opening orange but there are some spices that make it smell the same as for example, Turathi Blue. I ain't an expert. But maybe it just needs time, like Turathi Blue did for me.

Orange, overripe sugary sweet. You can faintly pick up some Afternoon Swim like vibes in the background but sweet orange dominates this scent. Later start to pick up some sparkling ginger and it gets a little closer to LV:AS. Happy to say that it doesn't get boring or tiresome. It does remind me of "Orange Sanguine". I do enjoy this scent for what it is. If you like orange and want a fun summery uplifting cologne, its a great buy. No florals, so any manliest guy can pull this off without a question.

This is a fantastic summer freshie well, worth the price. At around 10% the price of the original, no one is going to notice it has a little bit more mandarin. It lasts as long as a freshie lasts, which on my skin is around 4-6hrs when it becomes a delightful skin scent (not that the original last longer anyway, and for the price, it bloody well should). I blind bought it looking for a quality LV AS dupe and honestly I'm gonna buy it again when this bottle finishes! Happy days!

Honestly at first I wasn't a huge fan of it because i just thought it smelt like a sweet fanta but after using it more and more it is ADDICTIVE. Man this stuff is so good. Idk what afternoon swim smells like but it's meant to be a decent clone of that so that's another plus. Not the longest lasting but its still not bad for a very citrus and fresh smelling fragrance. Definitely a great daytime scent for the summer. 8.6/10.

it definitely is simple, smells like you peeled an orange. if you want something more complex, then i can understand why you wouldnt like this. i also have lucianno's sunset swim. comparatively, i would say that quatre is definitely worth it and better in every way. presentation wise, quatre is fantastic. the atomizer and smell of quatre is also better. i genuinely love this and could recommend it to anyone!!! :D

North Stag Quatre Vi is an irresistible fragrance that smells like sweet, candied orange, offering a delightful burst of freshness. Why wouldn’t you want to smell like this? With decent longevity for the price. 4 hours of great projection and 8 hours in total this will definitely be my go-to scent for summer

Smells great for a couple of hours, then you're gonna need to spray some more, or settle for the ultra faint dry down. The scent is still there, it's just not giving you anything to be excited about in the end. This is for the orange lovers! The hint of ginger definitely supports the longevity of this scent for what that's worth. It would probably be a 20-30 min scent without the ginger.

Not quite there as Afternoon Swim, but for the price you cant complain, wear this is summer day or night doesn't matter as its light perfume, dont expect beast longevity or sillage, but projects very nicely in the first hour after that, tone down as nice scent bubble around you like 2 feet until completly vanish after 5 hours

Lovely citsus fragrance with an amazing looking bottle! A very good clone of LV's Afternoon Swim! Perfect for hot summer days! Good lasting power & projection for a freshie.. Can't wait to add the green one💚Trois III... WAY better than this, believe me! Orange cremasicle in a bottle! So glad I own both!

not even close to afternoon swim but damn this shit is fire. This is fresher than Pinnace Oryn but I like the muskiness of Pinnace over the fresh zestiness of North Stag. With that said, I still think it's worth getting both of them as they are different enough. This deserves the rating!

It’s a citrus bomb. Smells super realistic and doesn’t smell cheap at all. Only downside is the performance which is usually weak in citrus heavy fragrances anyways. 9.8/10 fragrance for me. Just absolutely love it! :)

Anyone who says this isn’t 90-95% close to afternoon swim is tripping. Own both this and Afternoon swim and have to say the 5% missing is not noticeable especially when wearing it. highly recommend this

Delicious burst of fresh orange, an effervescent, zingy summer scent that is very easy to wear. More suited to the younger crowd as it literally smells like fresh candied oranges. Highly recommend.

Smells just like mandarin oranges. How they captured this in a fragrance is beautiful. Is it unique? Not really, you can walk in bath and body works and find something similar.

Realistic Mandarin smell. Not a beast, but good longevity. Reminds me a lot of John Varvatos Artisan, with its same Mandarin Orange smell. I personally love this.

I love it. No experience on Louis Vuitton Afternoon Swim, but this is a citrus bomb with juicy mandarin note. Amazing. Great for summer days. Unisex for sure.

FYI North Stag 3 smells just like 4, Maybe 5% difference, if you own one, you dont need the other. 4 has much better longevity and projection.

On paper this smells like peeling a mandarin orange with a little grapefruit-like zest from the bergamot. On my skin, it dries down to be a faint orange scent reminiscent of washing with a persimmon and goat milk soap. Light, fresh, and somehow a faint clean scent with my skin chemistry. The only time I could imagine wearing this is on hot spring and summer days, riding in a convertible, out on the beach or poolside. Casual daytime use. I bought a bottle. Limited use but I like it. Addendum: So, I'm new to the fragrance game, but I smell more than citrus and ginger in this fragrance. I was questioning how I could be smelling something that smelled clean and soapy/powdery on my skin when the only notes listed are mandarin orange (a type of tangerine), Sicilian orange, bergamot, and ginger. So, I looked at the chemical ingredients list of the product: CINNAMAL - cinnamon like CITRAL - lemon notes COUMARIN - vanilla, tonka bean sweet EUGENOL - clove-like GERANIOL - floral rose like scent with citrus and mint undertones HYDROXYCITRONELLA - lily of the valley LIMONENE - orange LINALOOL - lavender ALPHA-ISOMETHYL IONONE - floral, powdery and woody -- violet and orris-root (iris) I don't get anything clove-like, but I do get floral notes and I do get the powdery note. It smells soapy and clean. I'm new here, but why wouldn't some of these other notes be listed when it's right on the side of the bottle. Granted the florals are faint but it is there.

I originally got this because I finished my molecule 01/mandarin bottle and because of the YouTube reviews I thought this would be similar. Wow was I right as this actually smells 90% similar to that so it was a perfect replacement. This opens up with a really juicy,candied orange smell that's semi-sweet and fizzy very similar to those orange gummy candies. Stag Quatre smells pretty much the same throughout the life of the scent but as it dries it does get less sweet,more musky and airy !! Also in the air this smells sooooo nice and it even gives a slight ocean candle type of vibe. Performance on this is excellent as it lasts me 6-10 hours with good projection for 1 hour and a nice scent bubble and sillage for the rest of the fragrance life. For the price this is excellent and if you want a simple,citrusy,clean scent great for everyday but if you are looking for a unique or complex scent the this is not the scent for you. Overall rating -8 out of 10 !! Very simple but beautiful scent for everyday use in the warmer weather.

90% similar to Afternoon Swim, the mandarin comes off as slightly sharper and maybe artificial. However, Afternoon Swim's weak performance solidifies this as the better purchase, unless you can afford to spray the LV bottle 15 times throughout the day. Without comparing to AS, this is a mass appealing sweet, orange, fizzy scent, which comes with a faultless bottle and atomizer, as well as better packaging and presentation than most designers, and many niche. Extremely underhyped and a safe blind buy if you like fresh orange notes. Smell: 8/10 Performance: 6.5/10 (good for a citrus fragrance) Presentation: 9/10 Value: 11/10 Overall: 9/10
