Ophidian Mango Bliss

I haven't smelled God Of Fire yet but fell in love with this type of DNA once I got a bottle of this! I love mango as a fragrance and as a taste in general, that is why I decided to spend the $40 or so to get it. Eventually I wanted to get my nose on God Of Fire....especially if it smells anything like this DNA!!🔥 🥭 So I own quite a few mango fragrances and I like this probably the best because unlike most Mango fragrances they can become quite sweet, fruity, and loud. This is to me more of a mango scented candle than the actual fruit. This has some type of darkness to it in the base......kinda woody and smokey which really goes well with the mango note in here. I also pick up some florals in here as well....behind the mango and darker notes. The first time I wore this I was really impressed with the proformance! The first 3-5 hours it was projecting over a arm's length with a heavy sillage cloud around you. The fragrance lasted 2 hours longer as a scent closer to the skin. Haven't worn it for a few weeks and decided I would ware it again today and sprayed it on at 3:30 am and lasted my whole work shift till 1:30pm when I couldn't detect it anymore. 10 hour shift with 5-7 of those hours being noticeable!( At least a foot off the skin) Hours 7-9 were still a few inches and hour 10 it was a soft skin scent. I want to test it out again here soon...but for me I would put it in that 7-9 hour longevity with a decent 4-5hours of projection of more than a foot safely. For me, I use this for special occasions and dates....I believe it's perfect for that style. 9/10 scent, 10/10 proformance, 10/10 price point and 9.5 overall! It's in my top 10 favorites of all time! At least sample it to see if it tickles your fancy....especially mango lovers!🥭

in the opening i get no mango and purely lemon, it almost smells like a window cleaner but not in a bad way. after about 30 minutes the lemon note calms down and its an insanely fresh mango with an almost fizzy-spicy vibe from the ginger, kinda like a mango soda with woods and a fresh spice. this is insanely fresh and the fruits are pretty photorealistic. its sweet with this fizzy zingy freshness but has this overpowering citrus in the opening which id much appreciate if it was toned down. not a love for me but definitely not a hate edit: i forgot to mention longevity and projection, this lasts around 8-10 hours on skin and has a soft projection. 6-7 sprays is the sweet spot for me, and as i wear it more i like it more than the last time. the juicy mango in this is top tier

Very refreshing for a hot day. It opens sour and turns sweat as it evolves, which doesn't bother me at all, as i quite like lemon and ginger during the summer . I also have opulent Dubai which i quite like and the diffrence is that Ophidian Mango is unisex while opulent Dubai is sweater and leans feminine. I would probably rebuy any of them, but not both, as they are very similar to my nose. Performance is very good, i can still smell it on my clothes after a day's work. If you like mango notes, this is a good affordable option.

So happy with how close to God of Fire this is. I'd say 95%. So much less in price obviously than GoF and it's initial fruity and gingery notes in the opening last way longer than GoF. I have a decant of a well matured GoF and a new bottle of Mango Bliss that still needs a bit of maturing time but am already blown away by its longevity and projection which outlasts GoF in both ways. Thankyou Paris Corner for making this scent profile accessible to people on a lower income. Apsolutely love it ❤️

Kyle explained it perfectly, in the first few minutes it’s more lemony than you’d expect from this mango fragrance almost like a cleaning product not in a bad way, smells a tad bit synthetic is what I mean. but in just 15 minutes more or less it starts to dry down into this nice almost like a syrupy mango soda, then it starts to get into this really smooth mango cream kinda like erba gold. Overall 8.7 fragrance would 100% buy again and recommend

definitely sweet mango caramel. But not that very feminine creamy vanilla, milky praline caramel, rather that slightly tangy, hard, bright one candy, if you know what I mean? It dries down a bit musky(and mayby hint of oudh too), but the sweet fruityness stil remain beautifully on top. Can a man wear this? Why not, men use Erba Pura too. However, there is no heavy aromaticity here, if that is the measure of masculinity in these days?

Wow, this is good good! It took me a while to purchase this as I have a few mango perfumes but OMG, I'm so glad I got it. This is a sophisticated tropical scent with mango and species. It has a ripe mango that is balanced with the lemon and ginger. The berries add some sweetness while the oud makes the fragrance bit woody. It's grown and sexy yet it's fruity. It's reminiscent of a good Caribbean holiday night time fun! A must try..

This scent needs to mature!! The ouddy ambery base when you first get it is overpowering and strong.. fast forward several weeks and I don't detect it at all it's blended in perfectly with the mango and other notes. Beautiful juicy and green mango fragrance that's not too sweet, can easily be unisex because it's more green and woody than other mango scents. The lid sucks..

This reminds me of a freshly made MANGONADA, and it's intoxicating! Very well blended and balanced. Nothing harshly syrupy, yet I can almost smell the chamoy and Tajin. The dry down on this one is MONEY! It's a must have for summer IMO. Easy compliment puller. Fun and crowd pleasing kinda scent. Very impressed with this one!

Definitely masculine leaning. I haven’t smelled God of Fire, but this smells high quality enough that I could see it being a nice dupe. It’s very fresh, clean, and summery. I can’t see myself wearing it, but can imagine enjoying it on a man.

Um dos meus perfumes favoritos com certeza. Fixação extrema, cheiro tropical maravilhoso de manga com um toque efervescente do gengibre e acredito que do óleo de cipriol. Da pra sentir também a nota floral de forma mais discreta.

The zingy mango/ginger/lemon opening is devine and last quite a long time. The mango is not overpowering but lingers till drydown to a woody/amber base. This one lasts forever and is quite versatile and unique.

Mediocre at the best, a synthetic catastrophe and sneeze inducing. Those fruity, fizzy notes are extremely dominant and too strong. Good projection and longevity however, but a bag of trash really.

So, time for my actual review. After spending some time with this and allowing it to macerate, I find it ironic that mango isn't the strongest fruit note. It opens with a burst of lemon, and after about 2 minutes the second most prominent note I detect is red berries, which overtakes the lemon as the most dominant note by the tenth minute, with just a hint of mango in the background for the first hour. Then, the lemon finally dissipates, giving way to more mango, and you'll experience equal amounts of red berries and mango for another 30 to 45 minutes. Eventually, the mango becomes the dominant note, with the red berries moving to the background. This "mango bliss" experience, as we'll call this part of the dry down, is awesome but sadly short-lived, lasting maybe around 1 hour at most before the fragrance dries down to a less definitive fruity sweetness supported by hints of jasmine and ginger, along with a touch of coumarin and woody notes, this remains linear like this for hours. Further into the latter dry down, I pick up smoky woody notes (fake oud), a bit more coumarin, and some clean musk. Performance: This stuff is STRONG! It lasts 8+ hours on skin (almost eternal on clothes, until the next wash). It's almost too strong for my liking; it's like super glue on my skin, and I can still smell it on myself the next day, so go easy on the trigger. Overall score: 7.8 / 10 — good! If Ophidian Mango Bliss had a more dominant mango note, as the name suggests, I would have scored it higher. However, I think it's a pleasant fragrance overall, bordering on unisex but leaning masculine in the latter dry down. It's ideal for spring and summer use, but strong enough to work in autumn and winter.

Of course, mango uplifted by lemon is the draw here but the floral and herbal notes add the aromatic fougere touch that makes this uplifting and refreshing. The opening is sweet and fruity, but the sweetness dies down and this actually becomes drier. This is unisex though it mean lean too male for some users. It's great for warmer weather, outdoor activity use and social occasions. It's a great take on the modern fougere, but older users may have issues with the fresh mango. Performance is good. If you like fruit forward fragrances, this is a no-brainer. Recommended.

This scent is seriously lovely. Fresh, bright, and absolutely perfect for spring and summer days. It’s totally unisex, not too masculine, not too feminine, just that perfect in-between that’s super easy to wear. It opens with a light, tropical vibe that kinda reminds me of a mojito: zesty, a little sweet, almost good enough to drink. It’s soft but noticeable, there’s not too much mango in the opening, but as it dries down, this fragrance truly becomes “mango bliss”. It does lean a bit more feminine on my skin the longer it sits, reminds me a bit of fruity sunscreen or body lotion, but it still feels very wearable for anyone. My only complaint is the performance. It doesn’t project much and fades faster than I’d like on skin, though it does last longer on clothes. Still, I can’t complain because of the price. It just feels good to wear, it’s a very playful and uplifting fragrance.

I have not tried God of Fire or any other clones. This by itself is a good fragrance, but I wouldn't say it is anything mind-blowing. It's a very tropical, feel-good type of scent that opens up with sweet mango balanced with lemon and ginger. As it dries down, I mostly smell faint jasmine, dry cypriol, and sweet white musk. It's a nice change of pace from other tropical scents that often include coconut, pineapple, or melon notes. Very pleasant, but I got tired of it pretty quickly.

So i disliked the initial smell because i’m not a fan of woodsy, and i think this was an introduction for me into the oud, agarwood, and cypriol oils earthy notes. BUT after letting the fragrance settle the dance between the woodsy earthiness meeting with the fruity citrus berries and mango really gives an artisanal and photo realistic scent of a mango/mango skin. Maybe letting it macerate will have it lean more on the mango scent than the woodsy smell.

I got this perfume as a blindbuy and honestly, I'm very pleased. Very nice fruity and citrusy fragrance. When I first sprayed it, it stayed in the room for 6 hours, but on my skin, the projection lasted only 4 hours. It's a compliment-getter, but if you're looking for a fragrance with the best projection and long-lasting wear on your skin, this wouldn't be the first summer perfume I would recommend.

Its okay. Nothing more. You get the main feeling of an interesting mango scent and this lingering feeling like its a kids fragrance. I dont think its synthetic at all, it just doesnt resonate with me at all. Vulcan feu ive tried, and I do like that one alot more. Get a decant and dont be fooled just because the bottle and box look nice.

Opening is quite sour and green like an unripe mango mixed with lemon pledge, but a fresh spicy note becomes prominent throughout the dry down and the mango dims into a fainter tropical fruitiness.

Ideal for warmer weather, with a pleasant scent for the price. But I prefer Vulcan Feu to this one. It lacks just enough longevity and sillage to be a truly great one.

i was expecting a mango fragrance, but it just don’t smell like the mango i was waiting, and there is only lemon, the “mango” scent disappears because of the lemon

First spray and Mango hits a punch in my face. After 30min mango becomes less noticible and it gets more musky and floral. Really nice tropical vibe.

not that mangoish in the opening, closer to a lemon tea smell with some ginger, but it kind of dries down into a syrupy mango extract or smth

This is a pleasant fragrance that opens with a solid green mango note. The ginger note is detectable but not super obvious. The other top notes were not distinguishable to me. This fragrance is sweeter than I expected for a "unisex" scent. I wore it for about 4 - 5 hours before washing it off so i can't really speak on the drydown. The mango note started to dissipate after an hour (maybe a bit longer). I think it smells better in the air than on my skin. Unlike the majority of the votes on fragrantica, my vote for Ophidian Mango Bliss is that it leans feminine. If style points matter to you, the bottle and packaging presentation get high marks. Mango Bliss smells nice but ultimately it was too sweet and feminine for me to keep it in my collection. I returned this fragrance for a refund.

Don’t get fooled. Get a sample if you can. This isn’t a fun, bright, tropical scent. Already the mix of citrus notes with bitter Cipriol oil and Oud creates a medicinal concoction that its hard to like. The mango is back there, like a synthetic afterthought. Just my opinion, try it first.

At least on my skin, I detect a very strong Courmarin and Cypriol Oil. Dry, bitter and herbaceous. The fruits are wrapped in this mix. If I’m sincere, I don’t like it. Only after 20+ minutes it gets nicer and less chaotic

Day 1 impressions: Projection and longevity seem above average, I could frequently smell it on me without having to put my wrist to my nose. So projection seems like it could be beast mode. The frag itself is mango forward, the secondary note I notice is ginger, which adds a bit of spiciness. I don't notice any of the other listed notes. It's sweet but not too sweet because it's balanced out by the mildly spicy ginger. In my estimation this is better for spring than for summer because of the ginger. To me this is perfectly unisex, it does not lean feminine or masculine. A safe blind buy IMO 8/10 overall, but when considering the low price it's 9/10 Will come back and update the review after it's had a few weeks to masturbate. Update #1, after 2 weeks of masturbation: The scent profile is unchanged: zingy, zesty mango that leans slightly masculine. It's a lot stronger, which I like. It was already strong, but now sillage and projection are even more insanely strong than before—dare I describe this fragrance as nuclear? Still my #2 complaint is that I wish it was more sweet, and 50 to 75% less zingy zesty ginger, but that's just my personal preference and less of an objective criticism. My #1 complaint is that it smells a little cheap. Like, not well mixed and not smooth. The notes and accords feel segregated and not blended. This is a negative, but not a big one, and the frag is still overall good and a safe blind buy. 7.5/10 Update #2 after a month of masturbation: something happened to it where it turns putrid on my skin. I won't be wearing it any longer. It was a 7.5/10, now it's a 3/10

Ripe mango sweetness upfront with a touch of florals and a heavy dose of amber. It leans more feminine than unisex to me. I just wish the mango had a greener edge and the amber was dialed back a bit

In the first few minutes, you get a citrus-mango combo with a hint of herbal notes. But after 15-30 minutes, the fragrance transitions into the middle notes, which are predominantly flowery. The coumarin leans heavily on the herbal side, while the jasmine adds to it. The mango, however, remains shy in the background. I’m disappointed because I was expecting something more tropical, with the mango, ginger, and lemon staying more prominent. I’ll let the fragrance macerate to see if the balance between the notes improves. PS: I was influenced by a YouTuber (not naming names) whom I don’t watch often. He praised this fragrance for being mango-heavy. Yeah, well... the mango is only noticeable in the opening, and even then, it’s mixed with citrus. I can’t stand those YouTubers who claim they aren’t paid for reviews but clearly are. They don’t even take the time to properly test the fragrance and end up talking only about the opening. You want a real tropical fragrance, try Porthole by Loumari. Not the same budget for sure, but unbeatable quality. EDIT : I compared it to God Of Fire, and again, a clone that is 95% similar. This is really worrying for perfumer, because their creativity gets ripped of. I wonder were all this is going. Still, my description of the scent above holds. Not the most tropical fragrance.

There are tons of sweet fragrances that are manly/made solely for men (Calvin Klein Euphoria and David Beckham’s men’s fragrance are just a couple). Where did you get this thought process from? Why do you think sweet scents can’t be masculine? Do all men’s fragrances have to smell sour to be masculine? Cause that’s the opposite to sweet. And then they’d smell like B.O. - that’s also sour smelling. They’d smell pretty bad if there was absolutely no sweetness in their fragrance and any woman who smelled the men wearing them would run away, otherwise. Now that wouldn’t be a very smart move by perfumers, now, would it? And men wouldn’t wanna buy fragrances that smell like that or have that effect on women, either.

Initial thoughts: I am getting an effervescent mango scent. As it drys, I get some wood. My wife likes it, so that's awesome. I will be rocking this all summer. I am interested in seeing how it goes over in the office. I like smelling it to motivate myself through the day. I am very happy with this right now. Thinking of layering with some patchouli. Mango patchouli fragrance would be awesome. Get someone on that. Edit: Someone mentioned to me polo black is mango and patchouli so I might have to look into that
