Oud Beyond The Wall

The quality is there but it’s a little too masculine for me. Prominent musk.

This is just a simple beautiful fragrance that is not doing too much, but definitely turns a fair few heads , if you don’t already know this is a dupe for G.S by bdk ... How do you spell very similar? Yes absolutely does however definitely not identical. There is a Apple note in this one that I’m pretty sure isn’t in the original and funny enough it does make it a little more juicy (definitely not a juicy fragrance) but it’s the only way I can probably describe it and I would say this is a tad sweeter also Can’t really talk on longevity as of yet, but I’ll soon be giving a proper test very soon update pending

Immediately hit in the face with a black tea, iris and a slightly powdery cardamom. This is BDK’s Gris Charnel DNA entirely. On paper, OBtW lacks some of the softer laconic accords that direct people to a milky chai accord from this particular DNA. My thoughts on this are similar to my thoughts on Lataffa’s Liam Grey, save for the fact that Lataffa’s version is better executed. This isn’t a groundbreaking scent, nor is it a groundbreaking execution of that tea/iris/cardamom DNA. I think this scent could invite people to love fragrance but I don’t think it’ll wow fragrance heads. 3/5

Compared to Lattafa Liam Grey, Paris Corner Oud Beyond The Wall has more fruity fig, less creaminess, and less earthy tea. Whereas Liam Grey has more creaminess, more earthy tea, and less fruity fig. I feel the main appeal of the Gris Charnel DNA is the creaminess. Therefore, I think Liam Grey is distinctly superior to Oud Beyond The Wall, and one is not a substitute for the other.
