Qissa Blue

In this insane UAE heat I'm currently a bit obsessed with ginger and citrus scents. From 4711 to Alvarez Gomez and now Paris Corner, I'm adding to my collection of light, breezy, summer cooler fragrances. I just did a massive Paris Corner haul, I'm loving their summer freshies and I accumulated over 6 in the last one month alone. Like Ashroloie, down here most of my perfumes are actually on the heavy side, pretty Oud and Bakhur filled, or dark florals and woodsy one. I'll be honest, upon initial spray I didn't love this one. It seemed a tad bit too sweet to me. I don't enjoy overly sweet fragrances. So I spray my new Voux Zingy on one arm and this on the other. But I definitely enjoying the dry down of this a lot more than Voux Zingy... This starts of loud and sweet, but has settled into a soft, almost powdery freshness. It's almost reminding me of Johnson & Johnsons Baby Talcum Powder (the white and blue one) generally I dislike powder dominated perfumes, but this one is really different and nice. Very pleasant. I feel this will be lovely during summer evenings though, this might be a little too sweet during very hot days. Overall not disappointed. I'd rate it a 7.5/10

that is so beautiful. i'm not a perfume junkie, was just looking for a cheap and nice unisex fragrance suitable for a humid summer at a customer service job: something that is unique, but public pleasing enough so i can get some tips, haha. and this one really is it. fresh and herbal-sweet at the opening with very prominent ylang-ylang (at least to my nose), dries down to a gentle, softer moss that really balances it into a unisex fragrance. the citruses here aren't gym-like fresh, but rather the citrus smell that is a part of earl grey or lemongrass green tea or something like that. more tame and warm. it is really fresh spicy, and i worried that it would be too much as i'm not heavy on spicy fragrances, but this one is great. the fragrance feels unique, but in a way that others will be able to appreciate as well. longevity is pretty mid, but i layer it with some oils and carry a small refillable bottle to respray if i feel like it's not doing it anymore. for that price — easy decision. also worthy of mention is the atomiser. the atomiser for this bottle is absolutely phenomenal. overall 10/10 for me, could pay more for this

On first spray, this immediately reminded me of Opulent Dubai but without the mango. If you like/love Opulent Dubai like I do, you will most likely feel the same about this. I really don't understand why this rendition of Qissa isn't talked about so much more! I barely smell the incense/leather to the point that if I didn't know it was in there, I would never guess it was. I do like both of those notes though, so don't take my word for it. Can't speak on longevity much because it is brand new, but I am not expecting a whole lot of longevity overall based on the reviews I have read so far and my experience with most Middle Eastern perfumes. That wont stop me from reaching for it though, I'll just spray more often. For me, this was an excellent blind buy.

Female point of view: the fragrance leans more masculine. it's elegant and i would love to smell it on a man. performance is moderate to good. the silage is mainly citric, but not in a harsh way, it has this floral, almost sweet touch to it. Close to skin you get mainly the smoky, warm scent. to me this can be worn all year long, yet it can be too warm or leathery for summer. This smells like a clean man that just shaved his beard and wore a suit to an official event. I don't hate it on me but i don't like it either, because i don't want to smell like a freshly shaved man.

Qissa Blue is a sweet and fresh fragrance that is unisex but leans more towards masculine. It has those citrus notes that are well-blended with ginger and couple of white florals. It's such a unique scent that's great for summer! I strongly agree with the other review that this is an underrated scent. I just wish it had greater projection and longevity, because it becomes a skin scent within a few hours. But with its price, I don't mind spraying again. Gorgeous bottle as well! Go get one for yourself!

Was not sure what to expect from this scent, but it smells almost identical to the intergalactic bath bomb from lush, at least to my nose. There is indeed alot of citrus, in a good way, a fresh way! There is also this note that is almost minty, just like the intergalactic bathbomb, if you like that one, you wil def enjoy this scent!! As a lush lover, I really like this perfume! Very wearable for every occasion.

In the sea of popular Middle Eastern perfumes, most of them are overhyped, while this perfume, which is almost invisible, with a not very interesting bottle, and a fairly low price, goes unnoticed. For warm summer days, I recommend everyone to buy it blindly. No mistake, fresh, light, pleasant, attractive, just a few sprays and enjoy.

I found it on sale (12€) and decided to try it. I was impressed by the opening. Sophisticated and discreet without being loud. One of the very pleasant surprises in my collection. It deserves much more than its price. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a unique summer fragrance that suits both men and women.

It arrived with 9 other fragrances i bought together, including big boys like Rayhaan Crimson, Emper Phantom My Hero, Vulcan Sable, and this one caught my attention the most. It's beautiful (and top cheap, around 13 euro)

I see people calling this masculine but it's more of a: You can find this classy scent as a blue shower gel in a fancy hotel. I'd say it's perfectly unisex. Not quite thirst quenching drinking but very refreshing.

an amazing, really underrated gem from paris corner. beautiful fruity-floral scent which lasts for 8+ hours (on my skin) and projects like a Beast for its price. on my second bottle rn i highly recommend this

Dolce Gabbana light blue for women 2001..more prominent on the apple but its the same scent...even the pyramid list is similar..inexpensive uncomplicated great for summer..unisex

Amazing! This fragrance was designed for me! Unfortunately, it doesn't last very long. It develops beautifully on my skin, and you can smell the incense throughout :)

Underrated scent. Perfectly unisex, and reminds me of sherbert. Perfect for the summer, yet also quite unique. Qissa Blue is my favourite of the 3 Qissa scents.

This is an absolutely amazing hidden gem! Blind buy safe and great, inexpensive summer banger. 8.5/10

A great easy summer unisex scent!!

Unisex scent but leaning a little masculine to my nose (with the leather scent obvious in the dry down). It is very nice. My son and my partner like this one as well and borrow it. I initially bought Qissa delicious as a blind buy and fell in love with that one, then bought this and the pink (Yara copy). I like all three. All were blind buys, I just wanted the set as they are very different to what I usually buy (gourmand) and wanted a change up. I recommend for sure.

A lovely -unisex- citrusy scent that can be worn year around when you want to smell fresh and clean! There is a nice balance between citruses and leather that gives you an uplifting vibe.. Definitely something different for a fresh scent in a very good way! Good longevity and projection! Recommend!

A good deal if you don’t mind a long synthetic citrus opening. It’s fresh, fruity/floral akin to drugstore shampoo/ body lotion. Slowly the Jazmin and a prominent Ylang Ylang bring some sugary sweetness that dilute (thankfully) with the incense and leather/oak moss. The dry down is much better.

It's great for hot weather. Fresh, juicy, bitter-sour. Today it was 36 degrees celsius where I live and this was the only perfume in my collection that I was able to wear without a headache.

I didn’t expect it to be so sweet. It smells like sweet pineapple. It is unisex leaning more feminine for me. I’m gonna let it sit on my shelf for few weeks then try it again.

I quite like this but boy it is a poor performer for what it could be. Smells close to Versace yellow energy - fin the Eros line. It’s bright, citric, green, airy.

Very citrussy, gingery and “green” perfume. Easy grab for warm days. Longevity and sillage is weak, but for the price this isn’t an issue.

I bought it hoping it would be a bit more complex summer freshie, but I can't get over the green nature of this fragrance. It has this green note that I hate and I think it is artemisia, since quite a few other 'green' fragrances that I dislike has that note in common. I actually like the opening, but hate the dry down. Longevity is good for the scent profile, but then again I can't get any other than green notes in the dry down. Sillage is not there, it's a skin scent after couple hours and does not really project at all. I'll let it sit on the shelf and comeback to it after winter hoping maceration will better the fragrance.

I purchased my Qissa Blue last summer and was very happy with the fragrance. I still have about 3/4 of a bottle that was properly stored. Pulled it today and the fragrance has become dense, hyper sweet and lost that green citrus top I enjoyed last summer. The longevity and projection has improved to 6+ hrs but the sweet dense almost syrup like juice that has taken its place is just too much for me. I was able to layer it with Ajayeb Dubai Portrait (white) successfully to give balance to them both. I will not be repurchasing the Qissa Blue.

Reminded me of Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana but more masculine. Not a dislike but i don't see me reaching for the bottle anytime soon.

Blind bought it because people say it reminds them of DG light blue but I really dislike this! Is much stronger there is a note that I can't describe that makes this really unwearable for me and it's nothing like light blue in my opinion.

I bought it because it gave me something similar to the Imagination on Fragrantica, but it doesn't look like it at all. The mint shampoo is very harsh and I can't stand it. I might have to use it for a month.

Qissa Blue is an excessively sweet and cloying fragrance. Not fresh at all. Not citrussy either. It reminds me of JPG Le Male Le Parfum with an added treacly pineapple note. Pretty obnoxious. I don’t like it.

This one initially reminded me of Chloé Si Belle and Calvin Klein Women. Beautiful, rounded and not sharp - a jasmine+citrus that makes a feminine leaning daily fresh floral perfume. Bottle + cap with a quality feel. There is some herbal quality (the Artemisia?) and a subtle leather, which makes this a bit unusual. If you dislike herbs or leather, do not blind buy. This is only like 20% of what you get, though. The main thing is white florals + citrus.

I bought this perfume over a friend's recommendation , and I absolutely liked this perfume, it offers a pretty decent longetivity and smells really good, like orange, citrus and ginger, perfect for summers, but I won't recommend this for really hot summers

Great summer perfume. Fresh, citrusy and addictive. Can't believe it sells for less than $20.

This is a very nice citrus marine scent.
