Rifaaqat Adorn

I don't get why people are saying that this has strong pepper. As a pepper note love I'm sure I can't detect it here, so it must be batch variation. That being said, this is very nice, smooth, elegant and classy smell. It kinda has that oldschool elevated smell, with moderate longevity and weaker projection. Don't get me wrong, this type of fragrance is okay having a more intimate projection since the setting in which you'd typicaly wear it would be a date night at a fancy restaurant, or something like that.

This fragrance has very good Top notes and great opening it kinda smells a little leathery with spicy pepper. I love the middle notes it give the perfume some greenery while maintaining it’s masculine smell. The fragrance isnt sweet at the start but will be sweeter in the end It’s not a fragrance for everyone and don’t blind buy it. But overall it’s a great value fragrance with good spicy Top notes woody greens middle notes and sweeter spicy Base notes

Initially I wasn’t sure on this one I got it for I think 25$ and I let it sit a month or so. The first time I actually wore it I quickly realized how much I liked this scent it’s very mature and sophisticated it comes off as this deep ambergris, patchouli, almost spiced tobacco vibe and once it dries there’s a hint of vanilla that wafts in and out and it’s very alluring sillage and projection are okay/good a good winter wear.

I’m not a huge fan of the opening, but the drydown is incredible!!!! For some reason, the combination of pepper and orange reminds me of Sacro E Profano by Bois 1920. I like this a lot! Just want to add, that when I first sprayed it, I was overwhelmed. The very first spray on my skin smelled like spices, tea leaves, and tobacco, a bit sour and dry. Might be offputting to some. Scent: 8/10 Projection: 7/10 Longevity: 7.5/10

I had the MA Alhambra clone which I ended up selling after a couple of months because I found it to be mediocre, was not reaching for it. I bought a couple months ago rifaqaat adorn for peanuts (12 euros) from an online discount store, just because of the low price, but didnt try it until last week. This is way better smelling fragrance to my nose, more woody, more fresh, less lipsticky, more masculine. Absolute banger.

Better than Tuxedo. Softer, brighter and smells more. I Adooorn it😊 Edit; Ive had this now for a little while and i find myself craving it. There is something so addicting about it, i cant put my finger on it but i love it so much!! I got a compliment the second i got in the car from a person that hadnt commented on a perfume in a while. He thought it smelled so good and not at all too masculine wich i was afraid of.

Man, I had the opportunity to try this , else I would not have bought it. I have a sample of the OG Tuxedo, tried it multiple times in shop and have a great clone of it (Suits by FW). Rifaaqat as far as my tastes are concerned is what Tuxedo should have been.. It has a more woody-patchuli feel that makes it more mature and more expensive smelling IMO.. I feel better wearing this than wearing Suits or the OG..

I got one decant each of this and the OG Rifaaqat, and I much prefer this than the latter. Adorn is a masculine scent, said to be a dupe of Tuxedo (which I can't tell because I haven't smelled that one yet), but I don't really care. I enjoy smelling this, enough to buy a full bottle for my love. Why Rifaaqat Adorn is not noticed as much as the OG Rifaaqat is beyond me.

I've never actually smelled Tuxedo but I own The Tux by Maison Alhambra and it smells like a fresher version of that. I'd say you could wear it from fall all the way through spring but definitely not in high heat. Overall I really like it 7.5/10

i havent smelt ysl tuxedo i cant rate it as a dupe but man the smell is so majestic its classy and elegant. just a beautiful masculine scent

This is HEAVY on black pepper. I can't say it's a note that I love, but I don't mind it either. I'm an 18 year old guy, and I can't really see myself wearing a scent like this very often, so it's safe to say that this is more suitable for an older gentleman. Definitely mature and rugged, maybe not in the way that I prefer. (I like smooth, wood-forward fragrances for that ultra masculine vibe, instead of something scratchy like black pepper.) When I bought this, I was under the impression that it was going to be a YSL Tuxedo clone, a fragrance I haven't gotten to try. I do own Rocha's Moustache EDP, which is also a Tuxedo clone, and I absolutely love that fragrances scent profile, even though it's performance is quite terrible. This smelled nothing like Rocha's Moustache. Moustache was more of a fancy, elegant, Gatsby party type of scent, and Rifaaqat Adorn was more of a dark, black-plaid, rugged, bearded lumberjack type of scent. I will say though, I still enjoy this. Unfortunately, the longevity of this does not even compare to the original Rifaaqat, which lasts 12+ hours. This projects pretty well for maybe 2-3 hours on my skin, and lasts about 4-5 hours total as a skin scent. But that's not terrible, I just expected much more considering that this fragrance followed Rifaaqat, which I absolutely loved in all aspects. I would definitely consider this a cold-weather fragrance. I don't see why anyone would want to smell like black pepper in the heat. Overall rating: A generous 7/10. (My heart wants to say 6/10, but I do love the bottle and the pressurized atomizer) I've had this bottle for quite a bit, and it's been maturating for a while. I'll give an update when I feel like wearing it again. Post-maturation update: This actually has pink pepper, not black pepper. But pre-maturation, it smelled real scratchy and dark, making me think it was black pepper. It's a lot smoother, and less heavy on the pepper. I see this less as a dark lumberjack fragrance now. It's vibe is more like a millennial hipster with gelled slicked back and up hair, hipster glasses, flannel, slim fit jeans, and a pipe. He's also obviously got a curly mustache, or a big, trimmed beard, and often seen in local coffee shops. Think Judah from Bojack Horseman. That's who I think would wear this. Or maybe season 1 Joe from Ginny and Georgia. This is masculine, but captures the vibe of the early 2010's for me. It definitely shares more similarities with Rocha's Moustache EDP now. While I see the 2010-2014 millennial hipster man in this fragrance, I can also see a formal-fancy Gatsby party, like in Moustache EDP. It's like Hipster millennial in the first half, and then more formal and sophisticated in the drydown. I think it's mainly the pink pepper that's making me see the outdated fashion in this fragrance, but there's not much of it in the drydown. I don't hate the opening, but I don't love it either. Again, longevity on this is still meh. Still a more mature fragrance in my opinion, very masculine and herbacous. Updated rating: 7.5/10. Wouldn't buy again. It's not bad, but it's not really my taste because it's too mature for me. I can't see myself wearing this often. Most recent update: I let it maturate for much longer. Overall, the fragrance is much smoother and more toned down on the black peppery smell. I really enjoy this fragrance now. It's an 8.5/10 for me, solid head turner and compliment getter.

honestly? you probably don't need this if you already own Moustache. to my nose it's slightly better smelling and certainly a better performer, but it's basically the same product, just... better. while being cheaper on top of that. but if you don't have Moustache or you have it but aren't satisfied with performance and Tuxedo is too much for your budget, for that price obviously go for it. I just got it and I can safely say it's certainly an improvement over Moustache in any way. the sprayer on my bottle can be difficult to use for some reason and description on the sticker comes with typo, but other than that... good deal.

For me this is a peber bomb for the first 20 min where its just very spicy peber scent when it have sat on skin for 20-30 min it turns into to this earl grey tea typa scent in the begging i wasnt that big of a fan but after using it for a couple days i absolutely love it, i wont say its that close to ysl tuxedo u get it a little but i wouldnt say its a "good" clone, i would recommend to pick it up for like 20-25€ but dont expect to get a good clone of ysl tuxedo Imo its an 7,5/10

Good, but not great clone of Tuxedo. Quality of a scent seems fine, but there is an addition of some woody note that is a bit stinky. While the Tux/Winsome smell like a great Tuxedo clone, this one feels almost like a clone of Tux/Winsome. Bigger departure from original DNA while still smelling like Tuxedo. More sweet and sticky than others, smells a bit juvenile to me. It seems really good until you compare it with The Tux or OG. Try for yourself and see...

Second review. On my first review I did two sprays on the hand and it was too strong to just smell of my skin. Today I've had it on all day, two behind the ear n one on the back of my neck and I have enjoyed it much more. For me it's really lasted quite a while, I'm on hour six now and I'm still smelling it. I think it's quite classy. I could wear this dressed up or down really. But I think it's for the older gentleman.

First impressions. I had to endure the first 30 to 50 mins where the pepper and mandarin where soooo strong, I genuinely couldn't imagine wearing this. But then they fall back in the dry down. The mandarin is still the prominent scent with a Cedar and a tiny bit of vanilla. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it. I do think it's a mature scent, definitely formal. I'll come back once I've worn it a bit.

At the beginning of the scent, the oakmoss, coriander, patchouli are very intense. For some reason it smells like animal urine, but it's definitely not pink pepper. It has a lot of potential, but it needs maceration. After the first half hour it's much more pleasant. If it doesn't smell like piss at the beginning, then this isn't a conservative tuxedo, which is good.

I bought the Adorn version for me last month, because I didn't like the OG Rifaaqat, my bottle's batch is from Jul2024, I didn't have to let it sit to enjoy the scent. However I did like it better on my husband, I swear this is more unisex than the first version, but I still find both quite masculine. This one is smoother, a better blend and just better

Heavy pepper and citrus forward, then quickly settles into a sweet earthy vanilla for 8+hours. I put Tuxedo and Adorn side by side on skin, and surprisingly for 6 hours adorn was better scent and sillage than tuxedo. Where Tuxedo shines is after 8 hours , tuxedo keeps going on while adorn slowly becomes skin scent.

It smells like a walk through a demo forest right after rain I pick up evergreen,moss, earthy. There's no sweetness in this nothing like the original rifaaqat to soften it I put some musk under it

The perfect amount of pink pepper might be what I love about this. A lovely and masculine blend that is on my list to become my signature scent. I believe it’s even better than the OG. 9/10

Smells almost identical to Rochas Moustashe, which in turn smells similar to YSL Tuxedo. This however, doesn't seem to last as long as moustashe. A pleasant wear though.

A great smell. Imagine sitting under a cozy blanket with some storm outside and watching some movies while drinking tea.

meh, its not bad for 20 bucks but also not perfect. Good sileage and projectivity, smell 7/10, overall 8/10.

Rifaqaat Adorn by Paris Corner is one of those scents that doesn’t quite land for me. It's not offensive or unpleasant—just not something I find myself reaching for. The opening feels like it’s aiming for elegance, but it doesn’t evolve into anything memorable. It’s the kind of fragrance that fades into the background, rather than leaving a lasting impression. On my skin, the performance is underwhelming—about 2 to 3 hours with moderate sillage at best. It does hang around much longer on fabric (I’d say close to 24 hours), but even then, it doesn’t project or leave much of a trail. Definitely not a beast mode fragrance or anything that fills a room. All in all, it’s not bad, just not my cup of tea. I can imagine it working better for someone who enjoys quieter, skin-close scents—but for me, it came and went without much to remember.

Yeah, I don't really like the dominant woody smell, But it's not too bad and not too good, so mid in my opinion, I'm not sure how long it lasts, on my skin it only lasts a maximum of 4 hours, and I'm not sure how good the sillage is, but the price is quite affordable

i dont like it fucking it smells like gasoline and wood or leather is what my friends tell me and what i smell but the dry down is nice and sweet, im gonna let it macerate for a month i sprayed 15 times and give this fragrance a chance. it was too cheap to pass on.

I can really only smell the Cedar here. I'll probably layer this with something else until I finish the bottle. It's not very interesting scent to me. Very simple, plain. I much prefer the original Paris Corner Rifaaqat. The Adorn one can't compare.

It has arrived just yesterday. Longevity and sillage okay but the smell.... Don’t know how tuxedo smells so I can only review as a fragrance itself. The opening is awful. Like a stable with full of horse sh*t. It reminds me of the smell of a circus. Once it settled down it became alright but not for my taste. Def not blindbuy safe and if you into sweet fragrances like Lattafa Khamrah, SWY intensely then I think it’s not for you. It’s not that sweet at all. Don’t know that if it needs maceration, but right now i don’t see myself wearing this frag.

It is proof that hype doesn’t equal quality. The scent is meh at best - safe, and ultimately forgettable. Longevity is decent, but the composition lacks depth, tension, or any real character. It smells like a generic office fragrance.

Not well liked by the people around me. To me it smells dark woody with heavy ambergris, bright aromatics and fruity round mandarin. Macerate for a while, it got much more round, woody and dark after a month

Original is majestic. This is mediocre and bad perfomer..reminds me of terre hermes in the opening and then u get a faint vanilla...

Worst interpretation of tuxedo done by Paris Corner 6/10

This is quite nice. I bought a full bottle because of the low price and I will use it up. It doesn’t capture my heart instantly the way that their version of Babycat, Rifaaqat, did (masterpiece and 100% perfect dupe.) The commenter below is correct- it does have a big smooth, sweet tangerine opening so if you’re averse to fruit (I often am) then this opening probably won’t do it for you. But underneath it has a beautiful oriental spicy body that sticks around. This won’t end up being a signature for me but I will happily use up the bottle and likely not repurchase simply because I want to be in love with a fragrance from start to finish. I will be watching this brand going forward for other releases as their dupes are clearly excellent quality from the fragrance itself to the presentation and even superb quality atomizer. I have not smelled the original YSL Tuxedo but if Adorn is to Tuxedo as Rifaaquat is to Babycat then I’d wager it’s an exact match.

Picked it up for 20$ cad. At first it smelled very herby and rancid. I let it sit for a month and now it smells like smooth herbs with a little bit of smoke. I sprayed YSL Tuxedo in store and compared and they are very close. The YSL might just be a bit smoother but for the price I paid this is very nice. It does indeed smell like a man in a tuxedo or a suit. Very high class. If you can find it for less than 30$ (it's 50ml) get it and try it out.

Guys, please try Pendora Scents Tudor (Inspired by Tuxedo) It so nicely blended, beautiful smell, affordable, phenomenal date or office scent that gets compliments daily. To me Rifaaqat Adorn has some kind of rancid note in the opening and it is twice more expensive than 100 ml of Tudor, which is a beautiful scent that is well rounded. Please try and tell your opinions on Tudor. Also, hope that it will get its page here on Fragrantica.

I just got my hands on Rifaaqat Adorn, and the scent profile is excellent, too bad I can't say much about performance. No, please don't give me the skin type story, as I applied Fractionated Organic, Odourless, Coconut oil on my skin 5 minutes before applying Adorn, and the performance died within the hour. So I agree with Valixey. Thank got it only cost me $20 USD on Amazon.com. In Canada, Amazon is trying to sell it for $120 CAD

Pfooooooo you have to get through the ENORMOUS pepper blast opening and then a lot of mandarin to get to an okay chypre. It is soft sweet and close to the skin. But if this is your scent preference, it is a bargain. I bought it for less than €20 and if you compare that with Tuxedo, well, you do the math. 😊

omg! so clean fresh unisex, the absolute perfect mix of everything elegant and rich-smelling. this will be my new signature scent, and i think it’s perfect for everyday wear just as much as it is a great night-out/date fragrance! classy, clean, beautiful! cant believe it’s sooooo cheap!!!!!

Lovely scent for a grown man—it’s earthy, mossy, and definitely smells like the classic Chypre profile, just a bit more modern. I ended up giving it to my hubby and it smells great on him.

Opening smells strongly of fish oil capsules. 1 hour in it dries down into a much more sophisticated scent. Definitely try out before getting the full bottle.

Can we please have the original Rifaaqat on here too 😭😍🤞🏻 Edit: yippeee 😇
