Voux Elegante

I can tell by the opening alcohol blast that this one’s gonna do much better with some maturation. I wish it had a velvet covering like the other Vouxs to protect it from light damage. Anywho, sprayed on paper it took a solid 30 minutes to settle into discernible notes, before that it was like a fancy non-toxic organic, good for the earth, made of recyclable materials cleaning spray. The lavender and bergamot went screechy clean and the cinnamon and tonka went medicinally sterile. After settling, its actually really beautiful. The honey is not sticky, golden nectar, gourmand sweet instead its quite dry and bitter like beeswax and honeycomb and propolis, an airy, waxy, soft sweetness. The bergamot, lavender, cinnamon, and tonka eventually play together like young cousins of the same age each having their own important contribution to the group dynamic, something’s missing when one of them is away. Jasmine and cashmeran in this mix keeps it out of teenaged boy body-spray zone and safely unisex and for all ages. I will say if you’re an older, serious, “man’s man” this is probably too whimsical and casual for you. As a sticky sweet gourmand girlie girl, I wouldn’t wear this on an evening date I’d drift towards my resinous ambers and smoky tobacco vanillas, this would be too “clean” for me. But during the day on errands, to an interview or to work, a doctor’s appointment, a casual coffee or lunch? Absolutely. I think this one will get alot of sprays out of me this warm season. Edit: sprayed on wrists when I got home from work, before a 90 min walk on the treadmill. I wish the lavender lasted a bit longer, within an hour this is just spiced honey, which typically I'd enjoy but its a bit disappointing after loving the initial spray. Maybe I'll layer this with BG to try to get more herb longevity.

Is it Naxos? No. Is it close? Sort of - maybe 80%? When it comes to modern clones, that doesn't really cut it - *IF* an exact replica is what you're looking for. In my opinion, this fragrance stands on its own and isn't a bad fragrance just because it doesn't perfectly copy its inspiration. It's way too soapy to be a stand-in for Naxos, and if I wanted that DNA for this price or less then I'd probably lean towards Reyane Insurrection II Wild instead (also not an exact copy, but imo gets more of the scent right and the small changes are less glaring). People like this scent when they smell it, but I highly doubt it would get mistaken for Naxos by anyone with a nose. Still, I really like it for what it is even if I'm not likely to repurchase it, and there's definitely people out there who this will strongly appeal to. If you want a cleaner, fresher, more feminine(?) Naxos then maybe this is what you're after.

After comparing to the real Naxos, this is an 80% dupe of Naxos. The difference in the opening is very noticable, Naxos has a VERY VERY smooth opening, while Voux has a very sharp, almost not well blended smells in the opening. You can really tell the price difference in the opening. BUT, there is a big but here, let it sit for 10-15 minutes, both became very very close, at least to my newbie nose, that the difference is almost like splitting a hair. Yes, there is a potency difference between both, obviously Naxos is stronger but, what do you expect for a clone that cost 1/10 of the price of the real stuff. The drydown is surprisingly close but, the opening of Voux is very very sharp, almost unpleasantly sharp. If you okay with that like I am, go ahead cop a bottle, this is good enough substitute to cherish my real Naxos for longer period of time

I want to love this, but right now I'm just in like. Really in like, though. Opens up w honey, cinnamon, jasmine, and vanilla; I don't get any of the other accords. Such a pretty scent, one of the nicest ones in my collection. Not very complex -- remains pretty linear the whole day. Lasts 4-6 hours on my skin w very light projection, then a skin scent afterwards. I can still smell it 12 hours after I applied it, but it's not going to blow anyone away. Intimate, date night scent, but you could wear this anytime. Maybe not in the high heat of summer days, but you can rock this anytime and anyplace. Maybe this needs a little time to develop and mature? Would I buy this again? Yes.

i cant vouch whether or not its a naxos clone, but i do love the smell, atleast like past the first few minutes. the first few minutes is a weird sour pungent something? honey? i dont know but not pleasant, after a few minutes though the smell is great. i dont think the performance is that great from what ive seen

I can't say how much is similar to Naxos since I've never tried the original but reminds me a lot of Mugler Pure Havane(without the cocoa note). For me is a great replacement since I finished my bottle of Pure Havane years ago. It's very wearable now in the fall and the performances are great.

@Santori Flow "Yeah? Well, you know, that's just like uh, your opinion, man. " 😄 I still like this fragrance — it’s not breathtaking, but it’s nice enough for me to wear quite often. It reminds me of Pure Havane, but it’s more versatile.

Maceration definitely helps this fragrance. I've had it a few months now and the longevity and sillage bith have got quite a bit better. It isn't a beast but it is above average. It's a very high quality clone. 9/10.

It is difficult today, with so many new fragrances coming out every week and approaching the OGs, to remember that this was one of the very few perfumes that oriented its DNA towards Naxos. The title of ‘best Naxos clone’ at the time was given by reviewers who later, like a bad apostle of fragrances, denied it. The perfume is synthetic, not well blended, the quality is mediocre, and we have to accept that it was useful at the time, but the market and noses evolved in a couple of years faster than AI. And this has happened with almost all niche perfumes: every month a better and more accurate clone comes out. VE started out as a fragrance for winter evenings, was quickly relegated to casual use, and now occupies the shelf as a ‘car air freshener’.

I liked naxos, but not enough to warrant the price, so searched for a solid alternative and found this. Honey, Jasmine and Cashmere definitely come through, keeping this overall a very pleasant fregrance that lasts for a good 6-8 hours that doesn't project too much. It's smooth, soft, light and probably somewhere around 70-80% similar in terms of scent and pretty good as a stand alone option on its own.

Of course it doesn't have the same quality as Naxos, but what did you expect at 1/5 of the price? It is a nice fragrance, a bit harsh on the opening but has a lovely drydown and performs decently. Also, nobody that wears this kind of scent is looking for a beast mode but for something elegant and sophisticated. It delivers.

I've had this in the past. Its a good clone of Naxos, probably about 80% in likeness. The difference is that this has less of that honeyed sweetness and a more dry tobacco with spice.

Not super close to naxos. Smells good, but its kind of its own thing. More linear, and slightly more sweet. Its aight.

Paris Corner Emir Voux Elegant About the fragrance: lavender, honey, tobacco special scent, the opening is quite ok, the finish is not so pleasant on my skin. Wear: in cooler weather, with casual or elegant outfits. Performance: on my skin it has a weak projection, lasting 4-5 hours. On my skin it doesn't project at all, smelling it up close there's something weird about it (cheese? wtf), but it is better on clothes. Price: I bought it for 30 euros 4 months ago, I think Naxos is a better choice for under 180 euros, I will give it to myself for Christmas. To tell you the truth, in spring when I smelled the Naxos, I wanted to own it. The price seemed high at first glance, so I immediately checked if there was a Naxos dupe. While there are countless clones of other popular fragrances on the market, very few companies have tried to copy Naxos and this is no coincidence. One of the best blended, very complex fragrances. I've since tested it 1/1 with Naxos, Naxos has much better quality, better projection and a nicer scent. I'm not saying Voux Elegant is a very bad product, but to use an analogy, if Naxos is Jackie Chan, then Voux Elegant is Anulu. 3/5 points for me. The bottle design is not bad, obviously it wants to remind you of Naxos, but it has a unique shape and the cap is heavy metal, which gives it a sophisticated look. If you don't have to choose between daily food or perfume, save up and buy Xerjoff Naxos.

A pleasant and alluring fresh-gourmand scent. I detect all the notes listed here. The sweetness and freshness are well balanced. Not dense, but not too light. It feels elegantly mature. This is a great everyday signature scent kind of perfume. Highly versatile scent, can be worn in all seasons, daytime and nighttime (with the exception of super high heat temperatures). Can be worn anywhere and in any occasion (but not suitable for the gym nor for any sports/physical activities). Safe-to-wear and inoffensive since it is not screechy and loud; this has mass-appealing aspects to it. Unique and distinct that it will stand out in the crowd. Perfect for layering— I've layered this with other vanilla/tobacco fragrances and the results are great! I've tried it with Maison Alhambra Tobacco Touch, it is a very good layering combo! Moderate projection for the first hour then sits closer becoming almost like an intimate scent. This lasts 7+ hours on my skin. I like it very much.

So I wanted to try a Naxos dupe, found a decant of this for cheap so I got it. First spray, TERRIBLE, the opening of this is stinky, I couldn't tell you what it is but it's very synthetic, but it's probably the honey. But after having it on my skin for like 20 minutes, it starts smelling alright, sweet with a noticeable vanilla which is wearable. It also lasts a fair amount of time, probably 5 hours. 5/10 for the opening 7.5/10 for the drydown

Was really excited before buying this cause I have Naxos and after long research and watching people’s reviews, I decided to blind buy this.. I can say that the opening for 5 seconds does smell like Naxos, then it’s totally something else and the smell is kinda unbearable! At least to my nose. 2/10

It has nothing to do with Naxos or Pure Havane. It's just an OK perfume, nothing special. Too powdery for my taste. Insurrection Il Wild is waaaaaayyyyy better alternative to Pure Havane or Naxos. Don't spend your money on this.

I'm all for clone fragrances. Heavy believer that you shouldn't have to spend a small fortune in order to smell good. My fragrance journey started around the same time all those clones were popping off on Tik Tok. Asad, Detour Noir, 9pm, all that good stuff. The market for clones has gotten drastically better, so much so, that many of the older clone scents just don't hold up anymore, this is one of them. By no means is it a horrible scent, but I cant really justify purchasing it over anything else really. Very alcoholic opening, followed by this heavy, grandma-like sweetness if that makes sense. I get a hint of florals and citrus but other than that, just this old smelling honey sweetness. I've had this in my collection for about 2 years now, before it even had a fragrantica page, and I just don't find myself reaching for it at all. Trust me I really wanted to like this one. I put a pretty big dent into it from how many times I've come back, hoping I'd like it. But nope, every time I'm met with mediocre performance and projection, followed by its unsatisfactory scent profile. To give it some credit, once the scent settles it doesn't smell half bad. too bad it doesn't last too much longer past that moment lmao. Wouldn't reccomend this to anybody ever, there are infinitely better scents at the moment for the price point 1/10

I received a sample to buy so I'll comment. I really like Xerjoff Naxos, I haven't bought my own bottle yet, but having Mugler's Pure Havana in stock for now, I don't need to have it. When I want it, I definitely won't want to replace it with Emir Voux Elegante. Paris Corner has better and worse clones, I have a few scents of this brand, such as the excellent Rifaaqat, but I consider its equivalent Naxos to be one of the definitely worse editions. The scent is completely flat, very artificial, chemical. In the opening, you can feel a bit of lavender with a hint of citrus, but honey takes over almost immediately in this composition and it is a very synthetic and sugary honey. It is very sweet, bland and I don't detect a note of tobacco in this sticky mass. You can only feel a small fragment of Naxos in the form of sugar and artificial honey. No, it's not a good clone, it's not even average in quality. The parameters are also rather poor. Longevity will still pass because I could feel it close to my skin for a few hours, but projection quickly goes down. If we want something cheaper in the Naxos/Pure Havana style, a much better option is Reyane Tradition Insurrection II Wild. Having such a decent alternative at a similar price, I don't see the point in reaching for Paris Corner's offer. 4/10

I have both Naxos and Elegante, the oils used in Elegante are so poor that to call this a clone of Naxos is a joke. Yes I know this is meant to be a very inexpensive clone but come on, the honey used is a darker type of honey while Naxos uses a more brighter smelling honey. Elegante becomes a skin scent very quickly, so if you want projection spray it on heavy. On its own, it's a pleasant scent, to me this is a very casual fragrance good enough for the gym or running errands. Definitely not for dates, office, work, anything formal it just won't last long enough.

Realmente por su precio que ronda entre los 30-40 dolares no lo vale, la proyeccion si es que tiene es minima, y su duracion es baja, a las 4-5 horas ya lo dejas de sentir completamente en piel, quedan resagos, en ropa llega a durar 7 horas, y proyecta un poco mas, pero como digo, es un perfume que no lo vale para su precio. Y como dupe del naxos, es un 65% similar, no es un buen dupe perce, pero anda por las mismas notas y te da una idea. La salida es muy alcoholica (deje que macerara 1 mes) y la nota de tabaco es casi inexistente.

¿Qué tal, qué tal? Hoy recibí este perfume de un amigo. Si el ejercicio es compararlo con Naxos, debo decir que no tiene ni la calidad ni la presencia del Xerjoff. Sin embargo, el aroma es muy agradable: la combinación de lavanda y miel funciona bastante bien. En cuanto a desempeño, tiene una longevidad media y una proyección también moderada. En relación precio-calidad, es una muy buena opción. Eso sí, si lo ponemos frente a Naxos, fracasa en todos los aspectos. cheers

Hate at 1st sniff. Maybe it got reformulated but on my skin it's very indolic as the jasmine takes over. It has no resemblance to Naxos or any others that ppl compare it to on my skin. Granny vibes.

Smells nothing like Naxos, just a synthetic honey scent

In the case of both Paris Corner and Reyane Tradition Insurrection II Wild, you have to wait a while. Emir should mature for a minimum of 6 - even 9 months, in a dry, dark, cool place... and Reyane for about 4 - 6 months to achieve the intended effect. Voux Elegante is not a bad perfume, I can confidently recommend it, but Reyane has a similar price, has better quality ingredients, the notes are smoother and better isolated. Both proposals have a different opening, everyone can choose which one they like more. Insurrection has also much better parameters, and even as a regular fragrance (and not as a clone or inspired frag) in my opinion it is a better option than frag from Paris Corner. In the world of cheap (cheap!!!) inspired fragrances, we can also find Armaf Radical (Armaf is also a good alternative) or Maison Alhambra Hercules. However, after all my research and experiments so far, I believe that REYANE is definitely the closest to scents such as Naxos or Pure Havane (although it is only a similar profile to Xerjoff)... and until a new, solid scent inspired by it appears , Insurrection II Wild will still be the clear leader. Perhaps there is something else from Fragrance World, but I sincerely doubt it will come close to Reyane in terms of parameters. EDIT!!! - Another rival for Reyane has appeared... Yesterday I bought Maison Alhambra Galactic Men Intense. This is still a very young frag, we will wait with it until January / February 2026. Then it should be appropriate, suitably mature. First, preliminary test - in December... We will see if Reyane falls from the throne. ;)

Update: I smelt Naxos again and this is an accurate clone. Approx 90%+ similar. And it smelt like this straight from the box. The smell has stayed the same over this past month; hence it was good straight from the box. The Nice Smelling Gentleman (a great YouTuber) said his bottle took about a year to smell accurately like Naxos, so I assume he got an under-macerated batch. ---------- My bottle smells like a dark and thick honey and oud. Very dark gourmand. Moderately sweet. Only slightly animalic. No tobacco. Ideal for winter, usable in fall. Too dark for even spring. It's as dark and almost as delicious as French Avenue Spectre Wraith (Black Phantom clone), just to give you an idea of how dark it is. Masculine. It smells very good, but from memory this is much much much darker than Naxos. I will await maturation, but this is a great scent as is. Not for beginner noses because of the slight animalic nature, akin to the slight animalic nature of Tom Ford Oud Wood.

Without comparing this to Naxos or Pure Havanne, Voux Elegante is a wonderful fragrance on its own. I've had this and been spraying it for over a year. It's simply a sweet, honeyed tobacco. I can sense the light lavender and vanilla nuances. There is also a very faint "plastic" type scent which keeps it from smelling higher quality to my nose. Something like what you'd get with cheap sunscreen. Regardless of that, it's a fine fragrance and I do get good performance from this. I believe this fragrance would be best in fall or winter seasons, as I don't think this is a casual t-shirt type scent. I'm in the same camp as Colonel Stanley below: Reyane Insurrection Wild 2 is the best cheapie clone with this scent profile. That one smells much better than its $25 price and I can smell it on me the next day.

The truth is it's not really similar at all. I find it a mostly lavender dominant fragrance. It reminds me of the Yardley Lavender my nan used to wear when I was a kid. It's okay but not a huge scorer. I've tried this, French Avenue Fierte Luna, Milestone Nexus and Maison Asrar Muharib. Luna is probably the closest but fresher and lighter. Nexus starts off like Naxos but the honey is a bit rough at the start and heads into Pegasus territory drying down. Muharib follows a similar thread as Naxos but is more masculine and doesn't share its quality. At the end of the day cheap clones aren't going to beat the original on quality or duration obviously. It's not a good alternative in my opinion and gets a 5/10.

Fresh (little bit minty) and sweet lavender&honey (can't feel any tobacco), a tad bit synthethic but not as bad as some may make it seem, definitely not as well blended and smooth as Naxos, like not even close in refinement obviously, but it does it's job as a cheap substitute. It has some subtle bitterness to it. Performance wise, i get glimpses of it throughout the day so it definitely stays there. Inoffensive, no one ever mentioned it tbh, it is pretty basic afterall. It is pretty oily so it is in the higher concentration. Definitely unisex. It is sweet but it ain't that sickingly sweet as some say either.

Created my account just for this. It's crazy how many fake reviews there are. Mainly writing this to remind myself not to trust all of these YouTube influencers. Their life depends on perfume sales so they are very bias. It's the same with Reddit and Fragrantica reviews. Sooo fake.. Probably to be expected from companies that fake perfumes. This is NOT in any way shape or form close to Naxos. I mean it tries to be, but it is soo one-dimensional and synthetic - it does not have the depth, the sparkly, effervescent nature of Naxos, which is what makes Naxos so good. 1/10. AVOID!

Voux Elegante is a lovely fragrance .. I actually like it even more than Naxos. The similarity is probably around 80%, so it's definitely not the best clone out there. The lavender is more prominent here, while the tobacco and cinnamon are toned down, which gives the scent a more fresher and feminine feel. Unfortunately, despite the beautiful scent bomb in the first 15 minutes, after an hour there's barely a trace left - surprisingly poor longevity, at least on my skin. As much as I enjoy the scent itself, I wouldn't repurchase it.

If Xerjoff Naxos was a 3000 mile journey, then Voux Elegante would get you about 75% there. Which means you're still 750 miles short! Sounds close, but that's a long walk!! Where Naxos is smooth and elegant, this is soapy and cheaper smelling. In comparison to the other clones in my rotation, this is an insult to the genre. Its perfectly fine as its own profile, but to call this is a Naxos clone...well Naxos has absolutely nothing to worry about here!

@TJ It appears to me that *you're* the clown pretending to know better. Sense of smell is subjective and tastes differ, you know🤡 A person telling their personal opinion on a certain perfume isn't responsible of whether someone else buys it or not. Why should anyone believe you either and skip the blind buy just becouse you say the perfume sucks? Have you personally fallen to the hype too many times or why all the hate?😉

Dihydromircenol, cinnamon, mint?, a weird amount of vanillin and white musk. But it smells unbalanced and unprofessional... an amateur product, so to speak. Not good. If you're looking for Naxos, you're not finding it here, unfortunatelly. In fact, it smells more like Le Male in the golden bottle.

All I got from this was a sickeningly sweet, bright very cheap smelling synthetic honey note and barely any tobacco. I own Naxos and this isn't even close nor is it worth it since all this smells like is a terribly synthetic honey note. I sold it. Good riddance

This isn’t it unfortunately. Opening is relatively good: it gives the honey-tobacco DNA vibes, but as it dries down it evolves into a more minty, lavender, sweet “honey” mix, and it reminds me caramels offered in shop/hotel receptions. No tobacco smelled here
