Voux Zeste

This is what I wished Victoria from Lattafa would be: a gourmand lemon pie. However, Victoria is much more similar to the Devotion perfumes from D&G, which smells quite doughy/cookie/bisquit, which is not my thing. Victoria is also very, very sweet. Victoria has a zest that smells uncooked, while Voux Zeste (anter it dries down fully) smells of baked zest. This is much less doughy, less sweet - it's more caramel, much less straight-up sugar, still slightly zesty lemon and vanilla. It smells just overall more balanced to me - more toned down. At the same time, it's complex, especially in cool weather... and very addictive. Slight minus: can have a slight playdough note up-close at first, but on me, it goes away. Upon maceration that note became creamy, luckily. Also, right before this completely disappears, it smells like D&G Light Blue on me - I used to wear it a lot when I was younger. Considering this smells nothing like Light Blue, it's really surprising how it gets there. As for a comparison to Lira, I don't have Lira, but I don't remember it smelling quite like this - I will have to test it again. Overall: I have no regrets for choosing a full bottle of this over Devotion, Victoria, Empire Victor or Dulzura... might want to test out Symbol Of Love. When it comes to the comparison to Lira, this definitely smells very similar. I can feel that Lira is of a different quality though. Voux Zeste starts out very zesty, while Lira is smooth from the start. There is slightly more caramel in Lira, and the caramel, vanilla and lavender notes project away from the skin, while the doughy, lemony scents sit close to the skin. The projection of Voux Zeste is different - it's pretty even, and overall more intimate unless you apply a lot. I have over 200 fragrances, but already used 5 mL of this in a couple of months. I really like it in cool weather :) Although it's not Lira, it is good dupe! After maceration, Voux Zeste is about 98% similar to Lira, AFTER the initial zesty blast you get upon application. I actually like the zesty blast :P I will definitely finish my bottle of Voux Zeste before thinking about purchasing a bottle of Lira, IF I do.

I cannot believe I finally found a copy of Lira! I have Xerjoff Lira and Akro Bake, I was about to buy Regalien Hazz, but I gave Voux Zeste a chance, and I am so happy I did. It was not a blind buy, I tried it out in a perfumery, and now I have it and was able to compare them all. Lira is definitely creamier and the best out of all citrusy vanilla perfumes, but it doesn’t last more than 30 seconds. Akro Bake is similar - very nice citrusy vanilla, but it also doesn’t last more than a minute. Voux Zeste is a bit more citrusy, but it still has creaminess and lasts longer than both Lira and Bake. The longevity is still not great, but I can smell it after 30 minutes. There is no detergent or plastic smell in Zeste like in other cheap perfumes, so I am very pleasantly surprised. Even if you blind buy this, you cannot go wrong. If you know how Lira smells and like it, I think you will like this perfume. Especially because it is cheap and lasts longer. Edit: I found an even better copy of Lira - Casamorando Royale. I think it is better than Zeste, but very similar. Royale is creamier, and Zeste is a bit more citrusy, but the differences are very subtle.

For years, I thought I hated citrus in gourmand fragrances. But here I am, owning at least 5 citrus gourmands, this being among them. I purchased this second hand and forgot about it...pulled it out during this weird, not warm not cold, shoulder season between frigid cold and asphalt melting hot. And it was perfect. Zesty and tart, this is not. I don't really understand all the descriptions about peeling oranges. This is never a fresh citrus to me, even upon first spray. At most, it is a candied lemon and orange peel. The vanilla caramel is fully incorporated from opening to dry down. Maybe it's the maturity of my bottle. I get sweetness upon first spray, but not cloying syrupy sweetness. It's light and fluffy. I think that's what surprised me the most. I expected a dense cake, but it's much lighter than I expected. The citrus also doesn't smell pine sol fake because it doesn't actually smell like a fresh citrus. It's a dessert citrus.

This is heavy, a thin layer of orange on top of caramel and vanilla. Think of an orange pastry. It's nice, reminds me of Voux Patisserie (though that one reminds me of butterscotch instead of orange). I haven't checked, but I'll bet the notes are similar? Not for the high heat. This is more of a spring/fall fragrance. Not sure that orange fragrances (without spice) lend themselves to winter wear? Maybe it will change as it matures? Some of the previous commenters say it's sweet; I just don't get that. There is sweetness, but not sickly sweet. I like it. Leans feminine, and I will wear this... but see this as not being mass-appealing. Lasts a good eight hours with moderate projection. People definitely notice it in confined spaces, but it's pleasant and by no means offensive. You definitely won't smell like everyone/anyone else when you're wearing this. Give this a go if you like gourmand, orange pastry-esque fragrances.

I have a sample of Lira on one arm, and Voux Zeste on the other. I've tried them like this several times. They are super similar. The biggest difference I think is that the flowery notes in Lira are slightly more prominent at the drydown. Yes, it's lemon cake, but there are also flowers, and they complement the cake smell by making everything more blended. Voux Zeste is more cake. Voux Zeste definitely required some maturation, but after a month or so, it became really good! I don't think I'd purchase Lira unless I wanted to support the brand, as Voux Zeste is just as good...I might actually even like it slightly better, as Lira has a slight note of omega-3 on my skin, so I think Voux Zeste is better up-close. Voux Zeste may also have slightly more caramel, as it dried down to lemon-caramel, while Lira dries down more spicy, almost clove-like.

Got this for myself and my wife looking for a more citrus forward version of Lira hopefully more summer appropriate and that's pretty much exactly what we both feel it is. The smell is great and it's like a slightly more feminine version of Paco Rabanne's Ultrared for men. They're both citrus gourmands, and I would like to add that we bought our bottle from FragranceBuy and though I haven't yet checked the batch code or box for manufacture date, our bottle has EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE!👌 It's much more diffusive and longer lasting than my bottle of Ultrared and if you go look at the performance chart for that fragrance it's a stark contrast to what people are claiming here. We both got a full 7-8 hours on skin and 2+ hours of slightly above average projection. And we both feel it's unisex right down the middle. Highly enjoyed grabbing this one.

I have worn this for the last four days, which is crazy in itself because I like to change my fragrances daily. It's snowing here in Germany where I live and feels rather gloomy, but this is like happiness in a bottle. It's definitely warm and rich enough to wear in winter even though there is such a strong citrus presence. I have not yet tested Lira, although it is on my list to do so. I am not in a big hurry though because reading others' reviews, it looks like this is a pretty spot-on dupe (or even better). My bottle is only a couple of weeks old, so I look forward to seeing how it matures over the next few weeks/months. I ordered Fresh Sugar Lemon body lotion and Lush Supermilk hair conditioner to compliment the Voux. I am excited to smell just like a bakery treat for the foreseeable future. For the price, this is a no-brainer.

At first, the lemon note comes through very strongly, but within seconds it softens, leaving behind a sweet, sugary scent that reminds me of sponge cake with a lemon-vanilla cream filling. Because of that citrusy brightness, I think this is one of the few gourmand perfumes that feels wearable even in summer. The bottle is another highlight — shaped like a lemon and covered in yellow velvet, it’s a beautiful detail that I actually prefer over the original design (even though I initially fell in love with that one, too). The sillage is noticeable, so I’d suggest not overdoing it — 2–3 sprays are more than enough. The performance follows the same line. In terms of similarity to the original, I’d say it’s about 90% close.

I got my bottle and on first sniff I was already thinking 🤔 "how fast can I give this away?" Had it sitting in my closet for about 2 months(got it in the winter), and now it developed beautifully, it smells like lemon cake on me (that is what my partner said "what are you baking?" To be more precise) On clothes I can smell it the day after, and ... I have to wash them if I want to smell like a different perfume, on skin it has a good +8h, maybe more but I get nose blind and can not smell it on me anymore, only if I start sniffing my skin really close (and that is just creepy to do in public) Good price, but you have to give it some time, my bottle was from mid 2024 (sometimes this matters)

A sweet and lightly tart citrus scent with creamy vanilla and caramel as well as a drop of lavender and cinnamon. Incredibly similar to Xerjoff Lira but I find the citrus in Lira fades pretty quickly on me while it remains quite distinct here throughout the entire wear. It has moderate sillage and lasts all day. In terms of perfumes listed as similar— ❌ Akro Bake: a creamy lemon cookie scent with no florals or spices ❌ Al Rehab Soft: a powdery candied citrus scent ❌ Dedcool Taunt: a very light ambery skin scent ❌ Ex Idolo Love & Crime: the citrus is more tart and it’s more cacao heavy than vanilla

Yes, yes, yes! What a beautiful fragrance. Citrusy, a little sweet, vanilla, spicy and very longlasting. I find it more male leaning in the opening por more female in the dry down (I love unisex perfumes!). I haven't smelled Lira but for what I red its pretty spot on 👌✨️. The thing is the performance: I sprayed at night to indulge myself and could smell it the next day and in my pajamas for days until I washed it off, so ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. If you like citrusy vanillas just get it and for the price... You're welcome!

Lovely warm and sweet orange and lemon-like, cinnamon and vanilla scent. Good alternative for those who misses Lolita Lempicka L, very similar to my scent memory of it. Maybe a bit sweeter and slightly juicier and less wood in the drydown but the cinnamon and vanilla is spot on. So i'm happy! Safe blindby, price level is remarkable for the quality!

Delicious, year round appropriate citrus gourmand. It’s not quite as complex as Lira, but for the price? Yes please. Plus the performance is better. I’ve seen it compared to Al Rehab Soft- that’s more like a lemon pound cake with the tart lemon icing on top. This is more of a lemon baked into a cake. Not quite as tart. Great layering combo though!

I love this perfume, I can smell bergamot and something like basil in the opening, maybe it is the grapefruit but I like it. As it sits on the skin, it is getting sweeter and the vanilla and caramel is coming through and it is getting slightly powdery. It is not as gourmand as Devotion but who love citrus vanilla fragrances they could like it too.

I blind bought this one , and it's meh , ok perfume , but what makes it very bad , that I doesn't last for even couple of hours , maybe it will get better with time . Edit : only a weak later , it became a lot better ,much smoother and it lasts for a good time ,and it actually become very very good perfume , I love it now.

Sugary citrus, soft warm vanilla, it’s beautiful. 🍨🍋Good dupe for Lira, little less prominent caramel note. It’s giving confident girl who’s nice to everyone🥹 A shame for the longevity, i smell it ~2h on myself, lasts like good 4h. Have to overspray. But for the price i can’t even complain. Definately an all year rounder

I actually like this fragrance, it ́s citrusy, aromatic and sweet nature are lovely. I could/would buy the full size if I didn ́t have Devotion, but my citrus/sweet profile is covered for now

Citrus zest when you first spray it. Like think of what you smell when you peel an orange. Afterwards it settles into this beautiful lemony dessert. Honestly i'm obsessed.

Love at first sniff. Gourmand that can be worn all year around. No cheap or alcohol smell and above average performance straight out of the box.

I don't care if it says it's for women I'm totally wearing this. Love it straight out of the box!

as a dupe: i would call voux zeste an inspiration with a twist vs a dupe for lira. the opening is much more citrusy and aromatic, heavier on the lavender. the similarities don't show up until the dry down, but even so, lira is sweeter, heavier in the caramel and lighter on the licorice. i definitely would not recommend getting this thinking that it's identical to lira based on the notes. this is more aromatic and less feminine (until the dry down). on its own: zeste starts with a burst of blood orange followed by lavender-- i'm not a fan of lavender in fragrances, but it's not too loud in this so i don't mind. as it dries down, the licorice note starts to dominate until the vanilla and caramel shine through and blend all together. honestly, the immediate opening is not my favorite. i think the bitterness of the blood orange just isn't my gig-- i would've preferred smelling more of the bergamot, which would've been more "zesty" for me. however, it doesn't last too long so it's not a deal breaker. the dry down is what i enjoy this scent profile for. with that being said, i don't plan on repurchasing. i already have sapphire avri in my collection which has that same dry down, but with an opening i actually enjoy.

You read the note pyramid and think you’re about to spritz on chaos. Blood orange, cinnamon, lavender - it reads like something you concocted as a child, when you mixed random stuff in the kitchen, and tricked your younger sibling into tasting it. But then you spray it. And instead of getting punched in the face by a fiery spice rack, you’re greeted by... sunshine. The blood orange is docile, juicy and sweet. The cinnamon is barely a whisper - like someone waved a stick near the lab and said “that’s enough.” Lavender? Where? Next up the vanilla-caramel cloud, like someone turned a Mediterranean orchard into a dessert lounge. The musk hums quietly in the background, like a soft bassline reminding you this is still technically an adult fragrance. No sharp turns. No spice rampage. Just cosy citrus wrapped in sweet, creamy layers. Voux Zeste doesn’t bite. It suggests it might, then cuddles instead. Looks dangerous on paper. Smells like a citrus sorbet wearing cashmere. And yeah, the bottle is wrapped in soft yellow velour. It’s like a tiny diva in a bathrobe made of sunlight. Excellent longevity and sillage.

To me this doesn’t smell like Lira in the opening! It’s more spicy, more cinnamon and less vanilla. I actually quite like the opening with the added spicy touch. If Lira is a lemon pound cake, Voux zeste is also a lemon pound cake but with a chai Latte on the side. As it dries down, the chai latte spicy note always disappears and it starts smelling exactly like Lira. It’s a multi layered fragrance that changes as you wear it. It’s not very long lasting or strong, but it’s still a pleasant and soft fragrance🍋🍰🧁

This is sweet and pretty. A light lemon sugar zest on a sticky sweet caramel pastry. In the opening its a bit fresh, aromatic, maybe even bitter sweet, and then the heavy gourmand reveals itself. I’m actually really disappointed in the performance of this one. I have a bunch of Paris Corner dupes and this is the weakest. Seems to completely disappear on me after 20 minutes or so while Voux Patisserie is a beast I still smell on clothing 3 days later. I wish this performed better.

This perfume is zesty, a little bit spicy and sweet. It opens very citrusy, spicy and aromatic and in the drydown it turns very sweet like a lemon candy on top of a sweet caramel. I love this one but i notice that the performance is very weak and it smells very soft. I wont purchase it for this reason. Its a pitty because i like it a lot

Enjoying this so far although my bottle is very new. The opening gives an herbal citrus and the drydown softens to a slightly jasminy vanilla. Would be great for summer days. I'm not getting the cinnamon or caramel and I'd day this scent is far less desserty than something like D&G Devotion. Totally unisex.

Hey Pippa, thats a good point. I’ve had my bottle about two months now and performance is the same. I’ll give it another month or two and come back again. (But I do think its the composition of these notes and not the maturation. Hope I’m wrong :))

I'm so very conflicted. I loath the opening- it smells like bug spray to me ( I think it's thanks to the lavender citrus combo) but then I love it after 20 minutes. It turns into a lovely lemony vanilla and loses that lavender.

The opening is more citrusy and zesty for the first 15 minutes but then becomes really similar to lira, maybe just a bit fresher and less dense, i still prefer creme caramel over both

Very similar to Spectre Ghost (Ani dupe) but a bit more herbal. Very redundant and a ugly bottle so I think I'd rather have Ghost.

Voux Zeste by Paris Corner Imagine Lira after it spent a semester studying botany, swapped its pastry chef for a herbalist, discovered lavender, and decided sweetness was getting a little too mainstream. That's Voux Zeste. The opening is... divisive. Let's just say it won't be collecting unanimous votes. The citrus arrives with the subtlety of someone kicking your front door open—bright, sharp, and unapologetically zesty. If you're the type who flinches at aggressive citrus, do yourself a favor and walk away now. Performance, however, deserves applause. Projection is confidently above average, announcing its presence for hours instead of quietly disappearing into a skin scent. The sillage is respectable rather than theatrical—you'll leave a trail, just not a crime scene. On my skin, longevity sits around the 6–7 hour mark. After roughly three hours, the fragrance softens its edges and finally lets its sweeter personality emerge. The caramel and vanilla begin to peek through, accompanied by a faint veil of musk. I do wish the caramel had a louder speaking role, though; right now it's more of a cameo than a lead actor. Anyone expecting a clone of Lira should adjust their expectations. They may share a distant family resemblance, but this feels noticeably more unisex—perhaps even leaning masculine—with its herbal nuances, fresh spices, and restrained sweetness. One pleasant surprise is how comfortably it wears in hot and humid weather. Despite the gourmand undertones, it never feels suffocating, making it easier to reach for than many dessert-inspired fragrances in tropical climates. Would I call it a safe blind buy? Absolutely not. If you're chasing Lira's lemon pound cake with caramel-drizzled comfort, Voux Zeste is likely to leave you scratching your head instead of licking your lips. For now, I'm sitting somewhere between indifference and appreciation. I don't dislike it, but I suspect it needs a few months to mature. With a little patience, perhaps that elusive caramel will finally stop hiding behind the citrus and step into the spotlight where it belongs.

I’m very confused by the zesty, fluffy etc comments so far. On me this is very dense and heavy. The citrus burst on spraying is gone in a few seconds. What remains is a heavy, spicy vanilla. It’s not a bad perfume by any means and is great for winter/ Christmas, but zesty it is not. Quite good silage and longevity straight out of the bottle. It reminds me a lot of Casmir, especially as my Casmir bottle is a few years old now.

Its very strong with the blood orange in the beginning. Like very very strong!. Takes about 30 min to calm down then you feel caramel and almost liquorice smell. Then a little bit Vanilla. The dry down is so much better than the opening.

Way too musky compared to normal Lira and gave me a massive migraine. Disgusting. I had high hopes for this but i wish i had spent the 20 something dollars on fancy double cheeseburger meal instead. If you are sensetive to musk notes do NOT get this. Get a small sample of normal lira or save up for the small size.

Spicy lemon, smells good, but way overpriced for a scent that won't last even 15 minutes

I have only had this for a few days and right now it’s giving Lira but the “temu” version haha! Like a knock off. It reminds me of lira but sharp and weird. I think my bottle needs to sit in timeout for a few weeks. Be back with an update... 4 day Update: sharpness is gone, weirdness is gone. It’s gotten smoother and is resembling lira way more now. I noticed that in the air it smells way better than if you stick your nose in and sniff. EDIT 2 week update: this has changed into nothing but smoothness softness and (drum roll please) an exact lira dupe. I used up my lira and I’ve been 1 year without and this. It’s got depth, it’s got that weird lira opening that thankfully changes into that beautiful lira mid and lira caramel and soft sweetness. The projection on this thing is way better imo- people can actually smell this thing.

I'm really interested: all these reviews that say this is a terrible performer, is that on your initial impression as soon as you've received it or after you've allowed the fragrance to rest for some time? Not a single mention of this is included. I've seen online reviews that say they get a full day's wear with 90 minutes strong projection at the opening and am a bit puzzled by review after review saying that it amounts to very little at all. I mean, people do understand by now not to judge an Arabic fragrance uness it's had a chance to macerate, right? Surely by now people understand this....? If any future reviewers please include in their post the amount of time they've had this it'd be appreciated.

This is a dead ringer for Lira on the dry down - there is a bit of a more herbal, basil note in the opening of this one, but by the dry down, they're indistinguishable from one another. It's a zesty, spicy citrusy gourmand. Has some aniseed in it, which I adore as I think it's well-blended as in Lira. I love it, going to get this instead of Lira because it's a fraction of the cost and performance is about the same. Really, really happy - this is the first inspired by fragrance where I feel like absolutely no-one could tell that it's not the original.

Lemon upfront, much like Akro Bake. I also get a mint, almost menthol note in the beginning. I quickly get more citrus, more orangey notes within 5 minutes and fresh floral notes. It feels a bit more complex than Bake as the time goes on, whereas Bake feels more straight up and down a lemon baked good. Nothing wrong with that, in fact Bake smells amazing. But Zeste feels more mature, more intriguing. In my head I see it as a very nice first date scent, it’s interesting but not overpowering, and changes mood as the night goes on.

i get no lemon, or sweetness, from the opening. i can smell the 'lemon' notes in the bottle, but it has to disappear almost instantly as i never get even a whiff once sprayed. opening, to my nose, is very herbal, almost savory leaning gourmand, lavender and almost neroli to my nose. the mid is when a caramel begins to creep in and add sweetness and the dry down is pure delicious, and very gourmand and realistic, vanilla/caramel/sugar. it has an airy quality like the ice-cream is spun.

@esteban747 With very few exceptions? These are clone houses, that’s what they do. There are many american or european clone houses, we simply don’t hear about them all that much because they haven’t invested in their marketing. But If you’re looking for perfumery houses from the UAE, there are countless ones, maybe simply get past the dupe hype and truly dive in the world of middle eastern perfumery before getting all judgy.

I blind bought this, like I’ve done with other Arab perfumes, hoping it would smell like Lira—and surprisingly, it does. I’d say it’s about 85% close, making it the best dupe for Lira I’ve come across so far. When I first sprayed it, it smelled spicier and more aromatic than Lira, but the dry down is actually spot on. The only downside is that the perfume isn’t very strong; it fades pretty quickly. I love it nonetheless.

I have never smelt Lira, but I used to own L and let me tell you, there is almost no difference between those two. So basically Voux Zeste is a clone of a clone of a clone of a clone. But really nice one: it opens with really juicy orange quickly fallowed by generous pinch of cinnamon and very distinctive vanilla. If you miss L, try this one please.

I’m in love! I’ve had this beauty for many months! And yes it needs to macerate for some time, because it’s only becomes more delicious! It’s like the sweet caramel powdery becomes more strong after some time .. when I first started to use it, it was definitely more citrusy - now it has settled and it’s beautiful 😍

On Paris Corner website, notes are a little different: TOP NOTES:-GRAPEFRUIT,BERGAMOT,ORANGE,BASIL HEART NOTES:-JASMINE,ORANGE BASE NOTES:-CARAMEL,TONKA BEAN,VANILLA,MUSK,SANDALWOOD No mention of lavender or cinnamon but I hope the latter is there like many reviewers describe. (I just made a blind buy.)

I just blind bought this instead of Voux Patisserie... I absolutely love it! That blood orange and bergamot in the opening is even better than I anticipated and the dry down was the perfect amount of sweetness (trying to embrace more than my usual faves of spicy and woody). Highly recommend!

For me, this has a strong citrus cleaner opening, thankfully it fades quickly into a beautiful creamy lemony/citrus. Disappointingly, on me, this is a close skin scent and does not linger for long. I also suspect it doesn't project well.

A tart, sweet and slightly bitter blood orange with smooth vanilla, discrete caramel with a weak musk undertone. Smells nice but is unfortunately very weak. Still, it's pleasant as a skin scent and I don't regret buying a full bottle.

It is a very loud fragnance in the beginning. Opens almost like a limoncello drink. The dry down is a lot better. Smells like a friendly zesty lemon tart. Smells cheap to me, the real lira smelled more elegant and quiet

This is AMAZING! It starts of a bit too strong but after a couple of minutes you will smell like a sweet lemonpie! It is a gorgeous scent! A wonderful gourmand perfume.
