Gaby

Well, I used this after a hiatus of two years. Felt it was ' weird ' and kept away, all these days. Finished ' The Uninvited ' novel by Dorothy Macardle - last night. There is a haunting described, with a scent of mimosa. Gaby is the only perfume I have, with mimosa note. Wanted to give it a try again - and, liked , this time. Very much. Of course there is nothing scary about it, obviously :) (The spirit is a good one, in the story). Layered with a few drops of Choco Musk Cpo by Al Rehab - perfect ! Tried another layer of Craze by Azmal. It's even better. Kind of dry floral vanilla this is. I don't know how the D&G Red smells like , but Gaby is good on its own. 'The Uninvited ' is filmed too, yet to watch. But words describe a fragrance better, than a scene - according to me. Always.

I was funny to find this because i wished it was similar to D&G femme but it was not. At the very beginning you say yes it reminds me D&G then it gets into a laundry smell. it is nice but it is really not even a sister or a granddaughter of D&G. However it is a good smell of laundry, new washed clothes ( OMO LIKE in the 90s). thanks...

The original Red Cap D&G was my signature scent in my early 20’s, so i thrilled that this could be a great dupe. It is long lasting with a very good sillage, and yes it is a great reminder of the old D&G, but not the same. Retro type aldehide, definetely not a complimante getter.

I damn near don’t want to tell anyone how similar this is to D&G Red so that it won’t get bought up lol. But it is very similar.
