Can Can Burlesque

Just blind bought this at Ross for $17. Can Can Burlesque is a very pretty, gentle scent that has plenty of sweet raspberry, nectarine, soft, clean musk, and a spritz of sweet orange/clementine. Powdery and fluffy, it would be good for hot summer days, occasions when you don't want to overwhelm anyone with your fragrance, or even for wearing to bed. It reminds me a lot of Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme (with the burgundy top), except Pour Femme has a subtle marshmallow note while CCB is slightly fruitier but still very powdery. My only complaint is that the longevity is not so good; it lasted about 90 minutes on my skin. This is definitely one to spray on clothes and in your hair, and to reapply often. I think it's really lovely if you enjoy gentle, powdery, sweet perfumes and/or want an inexpensive alternative to D&G Pour Femme. Overall, I really enjoy some Paris Hilton perfumes. Dazzle is a gorgeous cherry, Fairy Dust, a pretty white floral (says gardenia, but I get a lot of tuberose, like in the original Juicy Couture), Siren is an apricot/honeysuckle tropical thing, and Rose Rush, a lovely, fresh litchi/rose. Other than these ones, and Just Me -- which I didn't like -- I haven't tried any others. But they are ubiquitous at Ross and Burlington -- two places I regularly go trawling for new scents -- so I have a feeling Can Can Burlesque is not the last Paris Hilton scent I will try! :)

I was supposed to buy Meow by Katy Perry because I am a fan of gourmand scents (esp when layered with powdery or citrus scents, and this perfume lasts for as much as 7 hours! I even took a bath, and it was very impressive. But when I went to our local SM Watsons store, it was already sold out (within a week!golly). So I searched for a new perfume. Enter Can Can Burlesque by Paris Hilton. When I first sprayed it on, I WAS HOOKED. I know that pink champagne and VANILLA was really not on the notes list, but that was what I smelled, even like the MEOW perfume on the dry - down(anyone else?). With a kiss of raspberry, and clementine, it borders on being sweet, fruity, and gourmand.Only downside I noticed,(not really major, though)was that it only lasted for 4-5 hours on me. Anyhoo, a lovely scent for casual days in school or a lunch date with a guy you really like. But don't get me wrong, it doesn't smell overly sweet like those annoying cologne highschool students usually wear. It's luscious, and yummy, that I am oftentimes tempted to lick my own wrist.

I was so indifferent on buying this, because of what people said this smelling just like the original Can Can, but in my opinion they are only 75% the same. IMO Burlesque has more depth, than the original Can Can. Burlesque is more candy like, than the original. It's more like cotton candy to me. The original has the Nectarine, black current, and amber smell which is a little more darker. Burlesque is a lighter version IMO. I know a lot of people say Burlesque isn't original, but I'm glad she made Burlesque, because I prefer it over the original. Burlesque is one of my favorite perfumes by Paris Hilton. I don't care what people think about me liking, more like loving Paris Hilton's perfumes. I also think Burlesque is a lighter version of Dazzle. I really want Paris to make a night time perfume ( Even though I wear Dazzle in the evening as well as the day time ). My favorite perfumes by Paris. 1. Dazzle 2. St. Moritz 3. Heiress 4. Can Can Burlesque 5. Passport Paris. Overall I give Can Can Burlesque a 10/10.

Can Can Burlesque garners me a lot of compliments. Today a stranger stopped me in the grocery store to ask what I was wearing that smelled so good. She raved on and on about it. That is very unusual for me. Personally, love this smell. It's comforting and pretty. No, it's not niche or even designer quality, but it smells wonderful and cheers me up. Sweet fragrances like this improve my mood. The raspberry is great here. It's very sugary, not the tart raspberry of Armaf Italiano Vivo. It's more of a powdery pop tart with caramel. This is a whole lot sweeter than the notes would lead you to think. Definitely a caramel or dulce de leche note in there not on the listed notes pyramid. Almost as if it shares base notes with JS Fancy. Great sweet scent & compliment magnet🍭🎂

Oh, this is a beautiful cheapie that smells sweet, fruity, and clean. It's that hard to find combination of interesting yet inoffensive. Orchids and sweet raspberry jam. The orchids make it feminine and floral. The raspberry is jammy and sweet. What a great combination. This is my second review, but that is because Can Can Burlesque is so wearable and pretty. Only thing I don't get is the marketing. Can Can dancing, burlesque shows - sounds like it would be tawdry. But no. It's sweet and feminine like a baby pink cashmere cardigan with pearl buttons. "Baby Pink" or "Candy Hearts" would have been better names. Treat yourself to a Valentine's blind buy because this is a very sweet romantic candy hearts kind of fragrance.

I just got this today! I think I like this just a little better than the original Can Can. It's less powdery on my skin and is has more fruity notes, which I enjoy. Like the original, it's very sweet, but Burlesque seems to last longer. The scent is pretty close to the original, with slight differences, but the good thing about that is that you can wear the original Can Can lotion with Can Can Burlesque so the scent will last longer. Burlesque is more fruity, while the original is very light. If you just put a bit of the lotion on your wrists and spray the perfume over it, the effect is good. Also, the packaging and bottle are gorgeous. Better than the original, in my opinion. I definitely recommend this perfume.

i remember absolutely drenching myself in this mist in the seventh grade locker room. the lid is cracked because i used it that much, and i still love it! overall, it's a very youthful, fun, and flirty fragrance. it’s very, very sweet, but in a non-suffocating way. personally, i think it's worth it for the price, and it also doesn’t have the synthetic quality that cheaper fragrances tend to have. while it doesn’t have great lasting power, the fragrance feels pretty well-rounded, and i am in love with the raspberry in it. don’t buy this scent if you dislike raspberry! i’ve worn it all year round, and it doesn’t change that much depending on the season, but i think it’s perfect for spring or summer.

This was a blind buy (as are most of my PH and Britney fragrances) This is such a bright, fun fragrance. Youthful without being juvenile, which seems to be the case with most of PH’s line. Nothing groundbreaking, but an inoffensive, sweet, fruity and delicately musky scent. Good for daytime or the office. Not what you’d want if you wanted a sexy or memorable vibe from your perfume. Like most of Paris’ fragrances, longevity and sillage isn’t impressive, but they are so cheap that you can re-spray. I like to decant mine into travel sprayers and refresh halfway through the day.

Smells alot like the original can can, however this is alot more fruitier, which i think makes it better! Smells like candy and raspberry when i first put it on. People who smell it on me love it and tell me it smells like candy ! Ive had a lot of people compliment me on this perfume and the original can can. It smells so delicious and lasts WAY longer then prada candy and juicy couture and not to mention, its alot more afforable ! Ive become a fan of paris hilton perfume, i cant stop smelling myself and people cant stop smelling me :)

This should've been named Can Can Sheer. It's a lighter cleaner version of the original Can Can. I love both of them equally, I don't even have a preference. They are both gorgeous. Why I waited so long to try these out I'll never know but I'm so glad I finally gave them a chance. I had no idea I was missing out on such masterpieces 💗. Thank you Paris for creating these😻 btw they work in cool, warm, and hot weather. Very difficult to find fragrances that work well in more than one season or weather type.

Beautiful delicious sweet scent that you can wear even in the worst heat and this still smells perfect. Very pink raspberry smelling. Sweet & fruity bubble gummy scent with lots of raspberry and nectarine. The sweet wild Orchid and the elegant blonde woods gives a cozy depth to the composion. Can Can Burlesque is one of those fragrances that is effervescent and uplifting. The sillage is lovely, and it provides a happy deliciously lovely scent-bubble for hours.

Another SWEET concoction from Miss Hilton, and I LOVE it! Haha! My sweet fetish continues with this FRUITY, a bit tart in the top, and SUGARY confection of pure deliciousness. It is very similar to the original. I mean, INCREDIBLY similar! Haha! But, I still love it just the same. If you live for sweet, it's great fun. And you can't go wrong for the price. Oh, and I found it at Perfumania. : )

This is a lovely scent that I am really enjoying right now. It's decadent and sweet. On me, the musk is the most pronounced note. The hints of orchid and clementine, although a bit more subtle, is a nice blend that comes through on me also. It has a little to moderate longevity. I find that I have to reapply a lot sooner than I'd like to. But it’s still high on the likeability scale for me.

To me there are differences between Burlesque, and the original, you can definitely smell the musk in this, to me it's not as sweet as the original, and you get that green note in this which is cassis, I feel like Burlesque is more powdery than the original due to the musk, and orchid mix. I like the smell of the original body lotion the most, it has this nice creamy smell.

This one has always been a repeat purchase for me and a compliment getter lol Lots of raspberry,nectarine and musky goodness....it’s fruity and almost a candy like smoky scent on me and any time I go out wearing this I’ll always get asked about the perfume I’m wearing and when I say it’s from Paris Hilton people are always shocked!

I received this in the mail today and it is gorgeous! It does smell similar to the original Can Can, but like another reviewer said, it is woodier a bit. I am glad that I have this one as well as the original, but I was hoping for more of a different variation of Can Can. This is great though, especially for a long lasting scent.

Beautiful sweet scent you can wear even in the worst heat. It's 100°F today, and this smells perfect. Very pink raspberry girlie smelling, which I love right now. This perfume has Barbie® energy - seriously, it smells like what a Barbie would wear. Delighted to wear and enjoy this one! (3rd review because I love this. 10/10)

I just got this after finishing Can Can and had missed it over the last couple months, so I went with Burlesque. I'd recommend this over Can Cam because it's sweeter and the bottle is cuter, but the drydowns are basically the same. Beautiful, powdery, soft, sweet, absolutely gorgeous!

I really like this one. It reminds me of Confetti Daydream of Bath and body. I like mixing them together because they complement each other well. Both have the raspberries and tiny bit of sweet spice. I am addicted to these type of scents.

Nice smell. Delicate and fruity. It’s a sister to can can, they are similar, but yet different. That one is stronger and has like more depth. It’s like can can was a base. Don’t get me wrong, great base, on some days better and enough.

Sweet & fruity bubble gummy scent with lots of raspberry and nectarine. I had to get rid of my bottle because the sprayer was broken, but this really isn’t bad at all. It is just a bit generic.

I really like this perfume! It’s definitely a good blind buy. I got it at Burlington and it’s a sweet floral scent and it was $15 so it was worth it! I really smell the orchid and raspberry!

This was a blind buy that I picked up, while shopping for a gift for my cousin. I did not hesitate at all because I absolutely love the House of Paris Hilton. I also love the original version of Can Can, so this was a no-brainer, lol! As usual, Paris Hilton did not disappoint. Can Can Burlesque is very fruity, fresh, and musky. Although, raspberry is said to be a note in this fragrance, my nose picks up big strawberry in every phase of this EDP. Also, I smell the flowers, and the tiniest bit of musk. Very Nice! Can Can Burlesque is one of those fragrances that is effervescent and uplifting. The sillage is lovely, and it provides a lovely scent bubble for well over 5 hours. It is very affordable and the bottle is stunning. This is great to layer with, as well. Today, I have it layered with English Laundry's Coco Vanilla Drop. I just wanted to add a decadent, gourmand vanilla layer to it--wonderful! This is a safe blind buy for any age! I received a compliment from a young man who works with me. Today, I am wearing it to work and to run a few errands later. I believe this is a safe reach for most day activities. Great fragrance!

I've been wearing this to work, and when I go outside in general, for over a month so I've had ample time to get to know it. It's a rather linear perfume: starts with sweet sugary raspberry with a citrusy tartness (probably from the tangerine note; I initially thought it was lemon) and develops into a nice musky-sweet drydown. Candy-like but in a good way. My only issue is the sillage. While Can Can Burlesque does last, it quickly turns into a skin scent within less than hour (which I guess is good for work?) and I have to respray quite a lot. All in all, a young safe perfume and not a bad buy at the price (I found a full size bottle discounted at a local online vendor for less than 20 dollars). I got the original as well, and it is very similar, but this one is sweeter.

I really like the original Can Can and thought I'd give this a try. They both are extremely similar except that CCB has raspberry. The nectarine & raspberry do give off an almost cotton candyish vibe. The musky dry down can be a tricky note for my nose. (Sometimes it's okay but others it literally makes me nauseous) idk if my nose was just being weird when I tried this or what because the regular Can Can doesn't bother me & this one did. Overall it's a nice take on the original... But if you have Can Can you really don't need the Burlesque. They both are similar but I think the og is better and ended up returning CCB

I like this much better than the OG CanCan. It's much fruitier in the opening, less heavy in the dry down. It still retains the burnt sugar vibe of the OG, but it's much more clean and airy. The opening reminds me of peach rings candy. Sillage and longevity are moderate. The drydown on skin is divine because it has that same scent you get after using a sweet fruity bodywash, where your skin smells clean, warm, a little like skin musk but you still get a hint of fruity soap. I would definitely repurchase this again, I feel like it would be pretty crowd pleasing.

I'm a huge fan of the original Can Can, so naturally I was excited to give this one a try. I fell in love the second I smelled it! I actually prefer Burlesque to the original.. it's very beautiful and playful and friendly to wear anywhere and everywhere. This lasts so much longer than the original! If you are a fan of the first one or of sweet fragrances in general, you will love Can Can Burlesque. I highly recommend this. It is reasonably priced, like the rest of Paris Hilton's beautiful line of scents!

I found this at Marshalls, and was super excited to find it. I'd been wanting this one. Can Can is one of my top five favorite perfumes. The bottle on this is even cuter than the original, and I love the dangly charm. The perfume however, smells almost identical to the original. I struggle to smell any difference at all. I guess I'm glad I got it, but I was expecting more of a twist on the original. This is like an identical twin, instead of fraternal twin to the original Can Can.

blind bought the 1.7oz at ross for $15. i'm happy! it's a good warm weather fragrance. i'd even say it's better in warmer weather. it's like a powdery raspberry/fruity candy. my dad says it smells like red vines. very girly and youthful, you'd wear this when you want to smell pretty. there's a strange note in the mid that i can't place but it doesn't bother me unless my nose is right up on my wrist.

Safe blind buy, would recommend for a younger woman. It's a very warm scent, i'd recommend it during spring and summer, it's honestly very versatile when it comes to the time of day but its more of an afternoon/evening scent. Would I give it as a gift? Absolutely. It's not very unique though, so just keep that in mind when buying. Overall rating: 8/10

Such a girlie frag, this smells like pixie sticks and cotton candy, as a sugary sweet perfume lover I love the scent, I just wished it lasted longer, I get about 1.5-2 hours of wear. I remember having the og burlesque back in the day and it lasted all day ( truly eternal) this must be the victim of a reformation. For the price 6.5/10

I just got this today, the fruity opening is nice but there’s almost a waxy chapstick kinda smell to it? Like a fruity lip balm. idk maybe it’s needs to macerate. the bottle and box are so cute and I’m not mad at it for the price.

Well! I came here to change my review! At first, I didn't like it, but a few weeks macerating and woow, it is good, it smells a little bit like baby powder, but fruitier.

Love it .. it smell like sugar juicy jolly ranchers strawberry but I only use as shower spray because it doesn't last very long

I blind bought this because I kept seeing good reviews of this based on perfumes I like, and I don't think it's fair to fully review it yet because I live in a cold climate and it's still quite chilly here, and I got this for warm/hot weather. But my first impression is that on my skin I get a big caramel popcorn note. I have no idea why, but I'm not complaining. I'll let it macerate until it gets warmer out and then give it an actual review, but I can already tell it smells sexy in a youthful way, like the branding would suggest. Edit: on my skin, I don't get any of the fruity notes. It's super weak and it still just gives a big caramel popcorn and burnt wood smell. I wonder if I just got a bad batch. I'm disappointed, she isn't giving what I wanted her to give. But I will probably keep it and use it for layering since I do like the base notes, I just wanted more fruit lol

I blind bought this, as it always came up as a similarity to perfumes that I like. I’m not sure how I feel about it yet. It’s sweet when you first spray it, but then it dries down powerdy almost immediately. It’s overwhelming powdery, like baby powder. I think a little would go a long way. I’m not sure where I would wear this, probably a low-key day/running errands. Definitely spring/summer, during the day.

I never thought a fruity floral would disappoint me. It's the first perfume that has made me feel old. I typically love a sweet scent but this one was simply over-the-top. I thought the amber/musk/woods combination would help mellow out the sweetness, but it only adds to its unwavering intense sweetness. It was just too cloying for my taste. If anyone wants a bottle, PLEASE take it off my hands.

I love Paris but the raspberry notes give me a headache.

This is like smelling two scents at once. There is a wonderful sweetness,but with an unfortunate side of mildew and dried stale sweat. Why does this smell like mildew? This is supposed to smell like sweet fruit! This smells like a damp hand towel that's been sitting on the towel rack too long between washings. On the dry down,the mildew smell fades away,but I hate having to wait for the 'dirty' smell to go away. I like the whole Burlesque concept,however, I think that if the entire bottle were hot pink,this would look awesome. All in all,I think this could have been done better.

It's very sweet and has a bit of spicy edge to it. People are either going to like this or hate it. The longetivity leaves much to be desired so I would spray it every few hours.

I prefer this fragrance to the firsts Can-Can which my body could not handle well. This is much sweeter even more girly and very pretty. At first I thought this would be spicier and sexier. The name of the perfume Burlesque makes you think of adult burlesque shows strippers and Dita Van Teese type of acts. This is not a sexy scent in that kind of way. This is just a really simple and sweet fruity floral. At the first spritz you will get citrus burst of clementine and fruits of nectarine, cassis and raspberries. The fruity deliciousness lingers for a while smelling really nice before it has a minor change and becomes floral with pink orchid and orange blossom. I love orchids and the orchid here is really very nice. The whole thing then dries down neatly into soft wood. It smells great but it can be noticeably cheap smelling like a simple body spray or body mist. However it does last a long time. It lasts longer than 3 hours I would estimate it's about 4 hours at most. Great for casual wear in the day time spring and summer season great for wearing when out among girl friends to the movies restaurants lunch to the beach shopping or any leisurely activity that doesn't require you to get all dressed up. Sweet and girly and loving every moment of it.

This is a review & comparison between Can Can Burlesque and the original CanCan. Can Can Burlesque is kinda like Pixie Stix candy powdery sweet (instead of syrupy like the original Can Can) with the added note of raspberry being upfront. The raspberry itself is kinda jammy instead of tart, but the perfume overall has a powder candy scent to me. After the raspberry being more dominant, the nectarine follows it and then the other notes from the original Can Can are there, minus black currant and amber. This one smells more fruity fresh to my nose, so I think people could wear this one in any season. The original Can Can is more syrupy sweet than Can Can Burlesque. Nectarine and amber are in the forefront and the stars of the perfume. The The difference between this one and Can Can Burlesque is that this one is heavier and more dense smelling and it's probably better for Autumn and Winter. The original Can Can has amber and that reminds me of being cozy in sweaters. They're both good to me, just a little different.

Found this at my local Marshalls store last night and got so excited and brought it straight up to the registers to buy it! Got a 50ml bottle for $14.99! :) Not a bad deal for a fairly brand new perfume that hasn't been launched yet! I love the bottle more than the original Can Can (I own that one also) because it just seems more girly and fun and I absolutely love the feather charm! Both of the fragrances are candy sweet smelling and very fun to wear, but I can honestly say that I love this one a little bit more than the original! It is a bit woodier and a bit more fruity smelling! For me, there is just something a little bit more pleasant on this one! I feel like I will be reaching for this one more often! Definitely worth a try and if you can find it at your local Marshalls/TJMaxx/Ross etc... Pick one up! :) I really want a 100ml bottle, so if I see one I will be picking up one of those also! Paris Hilton makes wonderful fragrances!
