Love Rush

Love Rush has taken over my favorite white floral to wear to bed. Love Rush is both comforting and fresh, but fresh in a different way. The first part of Love Rush is a cold, milky, minty feel. This lactonic minty feel reminds me of the powerful opening of Thierry Mugler's ALIEN before the recent reformulations. I absolutely love this accord! I read a review (that I can no longer find) that said "this fragrance smells like the inside of a walk-in refrigerated cooler at a floral shop." That statement is spot on and I cannot agree more! Kudos to whoever made that connection! After the milky, minty opening, Love Rush gets a bit powdery while maintaining it's lactonic facet. While there is sweetness, it's not over-the-top or overdone. The fragrance has decent projection but no real sillage. It remains on clothes for days. I would certainly check this out if you enjoy florals. If you are seeking a gourmand or fruity floral, this will disappoint you. I need to get anther back up bottle, if not two bottles cuz this thing is lovely!

I blind bought this based on the old lady reviews. Usually when the kids hate it I love and that is the case here. Love Rush is a creamy haze of a fragrance. I get the Nivea lotion reference but honestly this is a big sandalwood and musk fragrance with touches of white florals and a bit of tart citruses and a creamy fruity apricot. The musk in here has animalic touches but only slightly. Very powdery and lactonic sandalwood and musk here. I don't own anything like this and I don't get the reference to Truth or Dare or Fracas or Amariage. Truth or dare is bubblegum tuberose. Fracas is tuberose bomb and Amariage is a complex fruity floral but an old school one. Love Rush is a lotion like musk with a big sandalwood. The florals are secondary. Very pretty. I will enjoy wearing this. Year round IMO. My husband thinks this smells more like a honeymoon perfume than a wedding one. Sandalwood is very sensual.

This smells so good! I got my my hands half price on mercari. It is not her typical y2k fruity celeb vibes. It is gorgeous. Gardenia softened by sandalwood and faint wam notes that make this smell so elegant. The orange flower warms it up nicely. It smells like a warm garden almost beach but not quite thanks to neroli/orange flower. I was afraid it would smell like tuberose but this is white floral paradise. If you hate gardenia, skip this. It reminds me of Pure Poison less woody. This is mature pretty. Not old lady. Unfortunately, based on the release article people are going to skip this who just hate Paris Hilton and rating it low just cuz. You’re missing out. This is priced high at Nordstrom and definitely can hold its own next to boring mall scents. My husband also loves this scent on me

I had to come back and review this again. My lord this is amazing! This is one you HAVE to wear and get to know. Right out of the gate I was ok this is different, but as this wears its stunning. I have a huge collection and this is right up there with my favourites. Its a musky floral that's feels a little powdery but I really believe it's the musk mixed with the sandlewood that's doing that. Its blended so beautifully and smells so expensive and high end. This is not a typical paris hilton fragrance so lovers of her fun fruity concoctions look elsewhere. This is sexy grown woman vibes and smells like you have you're affairs in order. I bought backups already because I'm not going without this beauty, stunning 😍

This is actually beautiful IF you have an appreciation for white florals with a musky base. I love this it's a grown elegant stunning women's perfume. The people saying old lady are the people who enjoy sweet perfume or don't really do well with florals. Fragrance is objective to the person, so saying its old lady is not helping anyone really? Sticking to the actual things you like or dislike about the fragrance would give a better idea if someone else would like it. It's a beautiful floral that is modern and different. I think it warms up beautifully on the skin and radiates elegance, definitely would suit a wedding or dinner. Paris did a great job and I think it's her best fragrance yet.

I love the bottle I think it's very elegant and stunning and since I have Pure white gardenia by Bodycology and if it does smells like Love rush then it is definitely a beautiful fragrance because Pure White Gardenia is very beautiful. I love it so much because it smells so fresh and delicate like a real gardenia flower blooming in the garden especially after the rain, when the petals are dewy and the scent is so lovely. But even if I already know the scent, I still wanna have Love rush in my collection because of the stunning and elegant bottle that resembles elegance and glamour. I wanna add it in my collection and I love to see it in my vanity. I love LOVE RUSH!

I don’t understand how this fragrance could have the low reviews that it has if for nothing else the fact that is is cheap and easy to find. I bought this for my girlfriend after seeing the notes on here and it does not disappoint. I think the ladies who are disappointed with it don’t appreciate the musky, animatic accords which are exactly why we both appreciate it so much. This is a timeless and modern take on vintage, female perfumery. I will be buying more as long as it is available, an absolute hit.

Take white Nivea cream, add a solar gardenia and the pixie powder of Sweet Tarts present in Truth or Dare and you have Love Rush. It doesn't smell like Truth or Dare, but it feels similar. Pretty, clean, uncomplicated, with dominant gardenia that's beachy to me and a touch of sweet orchid (always powdery vanilla, in my experience). Similar vibe to Narciso white cube and Petit Fracas.

So I'm here again to give more love to this amazing beautiful fragrance. My husband said that I smelled stunning when I had this on. I was thrilled because this has made it into my top 5 and I have a huge collection. This is an elegant, classy well blended fragrance that makes me feel beautiful when I wear it. Can't recommend this perfume enough it's amazing!

I truly don't get the grandma comparisons, this smells super fresh on me. It's also exactly the soapy kind of fresh which I love for an everyday fragrance. 🤍 Great for work, great for running errands, great for going outside for a walk or just staying in to relax with a nice book... Just a lovely bubble of clean-smelling, fresh notes.

i liked this one very much.It smelled like a departure from the usual. When my small bottle got under half full I bought a large so I could make sure I had enough if there was threat of discontinue. The large has perfume with louder sandal and musk. It was too much. I tested this over months.

Gardenia and musk. The gardenia is not overpowering like many gardenia fragrances...it must be tempered by the other notes here. Musk like NR musk. Decent performance. I love this fragrance. To me, if angels had a scent they would smell like NR poudree and Love rush.

This smells really good. I love the magnolia, and the pear smells juicy. Dahlia and citrus notes smelled lovely. There was a bit of powdery smell too, but it’s subtle. This is a great value too. It smells so rich and gorgeous.

Paris Lve Rush I like more than the other Rushes.

I just got this and can I ask right off the bat, does it matter if Paris actually wore this on her wedding day? Maybe, maybe not. Of course there’s a marketing ploy here... that’s signature Paris. All that aside, I REALLY like this. It’s definitely what I would call creamy. That term when applied to fragrance always confused me but that’s exactly what keeps coming to my mind when I smell it. Also, there’s a marshmallow-y aspect to this that isn’t obnoxiously sweet. I am not keen on gourmands, particularly those that are way too heavy. This is like the smell of powdered marshmallow or a candied almond slathered in some kind of lotion or moisturizer. I know that sounds strange but it’s apt. People have noted specifically Nivea or face cream and I think that’s accurate. Once this dries down, it becomes a little soapy, slightly powdery, and fresh fragrance. I don’t interpret this as particularly vintage smelling or outdated. It smells pretty timeless to me. I never had the chance to try Madonna’s Truth or Dare and don’t plan to pay an exorbitant price for it anytime soon so I can’t speak on the similarity. I have tried the second dupe, Fergie’s Outspoken. It’s not really comparable to that in my opinion. It’s been years since I physically smelled it but that was during a time in my life when my collection was still relatively small so I remember wearing it frequently. Outspoken was dominantly fruity when comparing it to Love Rush if memory serves me correctly. LR is more powdery and sweeter than Pure Poison. I can see a resemblance to the infamous Narciso White Cube more than anything else. In a side by side comparison, Narciso is richer and sweeter. It’s also more intense. Love Rush can absolutely be interpreted as the Légère version of White Cube which is great because it’s been discontinued. It’s pretty safe to say that you could layer LR with something dominantly lactonic and sweet to recreate White Cube until the folks over at NR pull their heads out of their asses and rerelease it. I actually prefer Love Rush because it’s fresher and fluffier. White Cube can be a little headache inducing especially in humidity and high temps so I absolutely appreciate the lighter touch in LR. So far, I have found that this layers really well with Zadig and Voltaire’s This Is Her. I have tried a few of the Rushes and I think this is my favorite. Rose was pretty meh and Platinum is one of those dull crowd pleasers, both were not bad necessarily but very underwhelming. I still want to try Gold and Luxe. I think Paris Hilton is one of the best if not THE best celebrity perfumer. Say what you will about her but she knows her shit when it comes to designing quality fragrances that are affordable. I have never been totally disappointed by any of her fragrances. The bottle manages to be both minimalistic and glamorous, it’s so pretty. I already have LR on my tray because I know that I am going to be reaching for this. I do remember when this first dropped and thought that it was unusually expensive for a celeb scent. I definitely wasn’t going to pay $70 or upwards for this. I got a 3.4 oz for $30 off of Amazon and I think that’s pretty fair for what you get. Longevity and sillage are really decent on my skin. For me, there aren’t many downsides to this fragrance but as evidenced in the reviews below, it may not be for everyone.

Ok...so we thought "Platinum Rush" was the wedded fragrance..and then came "Love Rush" Basically it is a sweet floral, almost narcotic. On first spray there is the floral medley as well as all that sandalwood. The bergamot keeps things fresh while in tandem with those florals. This website lists orange blossom which I did not see on her website, neither did I smell in this perfume. It is certainly different from the other Rush flankers, though somewhat similar to "Platinum Rush". Straightaway I thought it smelled like Ysatis De Givenchy. If you like that fragrance you will appreciate "Love Rush" It's not gum smacky girly, it's a woman's fragrance. Almost a tad bit old school, not groundbreaking but lovely nevertheless. A bit powdery on the dry down but in essence, the scent does not lose it's integrity. Good for cool to cold days and evenings but of course we will wear our fragrances when we desire....more feminine than Platinum, if that is your vibe then this might be for you! Enjoy!

The initial phase can be off-putting. The dry-down is more enjoyable. I find it to develop better on skin.On clothes, it gets a little weird. In the air, it’s pleasant and cozy to me. A light hand is needed too. A couple of sprays in the middle of my chest and that’s good. If I put too much behind my ears, the smell can be a bit intrusive. Just a little, and it’s nice. Layers well with Banana Republic Gardenia Cardamom. Edit: I’d say I’ve had this for over a year and it’s smooth out so much. I can be a bit more liberal with the sprays because of this. It’s clean, creamy and classy.

Me and my mom were really curious since someone said it was similar to Pure Poision since that's my mom's signature scent. I even seen it on the "this reminds me of" Personally to me it smells like if Pure Poision had a baby. It's very powdery/Johnson & Johnson, with a strong floral. It's not the typical "old lady" floral though, I quite enjoy it.

I wanted to get this one due to the gorgeous bottle and the special event surrounding it as well as being in love with the Rush Line I get an instant “I’ve smelt this before”. It is similar to some KKW fragrances. It is a gardenia musky floral fragrance. Almost dusty if I may say that. If a little more sweetest was added it could have been TruTh or dare by Madonna. Definitely my least favourite out of the rush collection due to the dusty feeling I get from the musk and I do not buy that Paris wore this on her wedding day ahahah! I really want to get rose rush again because that one is so well done.

So soapy it's not even funny. I like it, but it's very easy to overspray (for me), I can see it being headache-inducing.

I only tried this on a test strip in a shop so this review is based on that. I wouldn’t wear it so a test strip is as good as it will get. I was trying out fragrances for a gift for my Aunty (I went with pretty by Elizabeth Arden btw) and the girl helping me said ‘you have to try this one, it’s so weird, no one who has smelt it likes it including everyone who works here’, and sprayed love rush on a test strip. And wow she was right. I was actually taken aback. I like paris hillton fragrances and this is nothing like her other scents. It is WEIRD but not in a nice way. It smells like weird medicinal powder. I’ve never quite smelled anything like this. It’s almost like an unusual mugler scent. Not for me at all.

Wow. I really can’t believe Paris Hilton wore this on her wedding day. It smells 100% like 1980s Nivea body lotion. My Grandma used it. I guess the only good thing is as soon as I smelled it took me back to my childhood and visiting my Grandma. She has since passed. This is straight up old lady.

Very mature perfume, didn't expect from Paris Hilton something like this. Purchased it as blind buy to complete my Rush collection, which I love. Perfume is very heavy floral musky as for me, unfortunately I can't wear it and gifted to mom, who likes classics.

This smells like grandma. My grandma is Mexican and reminds me of something she would wear. It would be a nice gift for someone like that.

This fragrance has a vintage vibe. The white flowers need to be tempered. They are too overwhelming.

I've been a huge fan & collector of Paris Hilton's Rush line since Gold Rush. Gold Rush stole my heart upon its release, and every flanker released after became a love or at least solid like for me. So, of course, I had to add Love Rush to my collection to see if it meets my expectations. Fortunately, I was able to score this on Mercari for about $35 + shipping & taxes. I definitely was not trying to pay $75 for something I may not like. Now, upon the revealing of the notes, something in my gut told me this would not be for me AT ALL! But of course, I needed to see or smell it for myself. Love Rush opens with a blend of Gardenia and Bergamot. About 15 minutes into wear, the Bergamot fades and I'm just left with a musky, powdery Gardenia........but that's it. I can't really detect anything else. The Gardenia seems to overpower the entire composition, which isn't a bad thing if you're a Gardenia lover. But for me, this got boring really fast. Compared to the other Rush scents, this was a huge let down. Even when Paris took a break from promoting her fragrances, she still delivered pretty decent scents. Love Rush is a Gardenia dominated scent that's been done many times before. It's not unique at all and lacks depth. So for her to launch this huge perfume campaign associated with her actual wedding, and the scent be something so....basic, it made me question if she actually wore this at her wedding, or was it a marketing tactic?🤔 Even with the scent being very one dimensional, the performance is what did it for me. Love Rush couldn't even give me a solid 2 hours of wear. After an hour, it was a super light Gardenia skin scent and completely fades 30 minutes later. Out of all of her Rush fragrances, this is Paris' least interesting and worst performing fragrance. Again, if you LOVE Gardenia, then this may be up your alley and you may get lucky and get good longevity with wear, but I still suggest that you wait until it's available for a more affordable price. Scent: 4/10 Packaging: 7/10 Performance: 2/10 P.S.(Random Theory) Prior to this release, there was an unofficial release of a "Wedding Collection" by Paris Hilton that didn't get a major release or any press, which consisted of the Gold Rush men's fragrance and Platinum Rush with a white cap instead of silver. So, I wonder if they pulled back on the Wedding Collection gift set to give it a new scent ("the scent Paris wore on her wedding day") because it would be more marketable and profitable.

This one was rough, guys... I sprayed it and all I got was STRONG sunscreen with a cleaner smell? I've never smelled anything like this in my life and how ANYONE can enjoy this truly surprises me. I had this for like 15 minutes and took it right back. I was so disappointed in this one. It lasts forrrrever too, which in my case was NOT a good thing.This was a MEGA miss for me. :(

Blind buy instant regret. Very strong soap, white flowers. Too much at any rate. I really don’t like it. I can’t believe that Paris prepared THIS with details for her wedding. It’s so disappointing. It stinks big time. Edit: it’s my room spray when I have farting days and even then I find it to be strong and annoying. I still can’t believe it’s that bad.

I don't agree with all the negative reviews on this one. This is so unique and glamourous like something out of the 1940s. I do agree you get a vintage Nivea scent but that is what is so alluring about it. It smells like vintage old makeup. On the drydown I do detect some of the floral notes more clearly. If you are into sweet, fruity scents and are expecting something similar to the other rush fragrances, I would say to maybe skip this one or smell it first before buying. I knew I would like it because I like florals and unique scents but by no means is it "grannyish" like all these other reviewers say. Whenever I see the words "grannyish" in reviews it just makes me roll my eyes, because I assume it's coming from someone in their 20's who hate florals. It's okay to have scent preferences but to always dismiss florals as "grannyish" just because you don't like them shows how inexperienced you are when it comes to scent. While I do agree that some notes do smell "older", that is not the case with this perfume or with every single floral perfume... Now do I believe that Paris actually wore a $50 bottle of her own perfume on her wedding day? I doubt it! If anything maybe she layered it with a more expensive perfume.

Errr... this one is rough guys! Someone mentioned sunscreen, cleaner, and urinal cake below, and while those weren’t my first thoughts when I sprayed Love Rush, I can’t say they’re too far off from the bizarreness I experienced. It doesn’t smell anything like the main accords or the scent pyramid suggests; it's just mpossible to describe. As someone who owns the first four fragrances listed under "This perfume reminds me of" (Madonna Truth or Dare, Avon Outspoken, Avon Rare Pearls, and Robert Piguet Fracas), I can say with 100% certainty that Love Rush smells nothing like them, not even the slightest bit. As a longtime fan of Paris Hilton’s perfumes, I’m so disappointed that this is the first one from her to truly make me raise an eyebrow. It’s so off-putting that I don’t even feel confident giving it away, despite it being 99% new! Heck I can't even use it as room freshener.

The review below mine is the most accurate description of this fragrance. I was hesitant to order this due to reviews saying it smells cheap and powdery; I disagree with both of those attributions. Comparatively, I think this smells higher quality than both Rosé and Platinum Rush. This is definitely more floral than fruity and for those averse to apricot notes (self included), I can report that I don't clearly perceive/detect apricot although the initial spray is oddly/indescribably fruity. The oddness dissipates quickly and you're left with a slightly beachy (quasi-sunscreen but not sandy) and lightly sweet but clean mixed gardenia and white floral. I would like to emphasize that this smells clean unlike the majority of gardenia-based florals which tend to lean buttery or indolic.

I purchased this yesterday evening, because a few reviewers said this fragrance reminds them of Madonna Truth or Dare, Fracas and Amarige, all fragrances I do like. However, based on those comparisons, I was sort of hesitant to buy, because while Truth or Dare can be deemed similar to Fracas due to the shared heaviness of the tuberose note, Amarige smells nothing like either of these 3 fragrances. But here is the kicker: **Love Rush smells NOTHING like Truth or Dare, Fracas, or Amarige...it does not have the slightest bit of tuberose in it at all** While Kenzo Flower is not an exact match, I would say it’s much closer in similarity than Truth or Dare, Fracas or Amarige.

Ok I absolutely adore this beauty! Not to be mean but if you love pink sugar or Bon Bon you will not like this and If you are not a true white floral fan then she is not for you, she is not an old baba perfume, this is on the level of Narsico! Love Rush is a little sister to Narsico Rodriguez Narsico. The dewy Gardenia, clean powdery musk and light citrus from orange blossom with a little bit of apricot with vanilla orchid for some sweetness is a truly beautiful combination and it is a fantastic scent for Spring and Summer. Thank you Paris! Absolutely stunningly beautiful!!

Again, the Paris perfume house can't miss! Elegant creamy white florals. A touch of musk. The gardenia stands out. This gives expensive and luxury. If white florals aren't your thing, you may not be able to appreciate this offering. The compliments keep coming. Definitely a fresh uplifting fragrance, and yes, it does mimic Nivea or a nice face cream. The bottle is a stunner.

They sent profile on this one reminds me of dove soap, the white bar. It’s light an airy good for someone who doesn’t like strong perfumes. Definitely have to over spray this one. It’s not bad but it’s not anything spectacular. Very linear and offensive good for everyday. But very Average.

This smells like dove soap the white bar with the navy blue label on the box. If that is your vibe then you will like this. This is a soft perfume good for someone who doesn’t like very strong fragrances. It’s a clean foral soft and airy. 🤍✨

Listen to all the reviews that say it smells like old grandma. It's dated smelling and mediocre. It surprises me this is scent is apart of the Paris Hilton brand. Blind buy fail.

This is a modern approach to gardenia and I really enjoy it. It is hard to explain other than it feels like a part of me.

Yuk! Don't waste your money.so cheap smelling. Put as a toilet spray and visitors still complain about the smell.
