Luxe Rush was composed by IFF perfumer Michelle Defina. Luxe Rush includes top notes of Pink Peony and Sicilian Bergamot. Middle notes are Tiger Lily, Frangipani Flower and Tuberose. Base notes are Patchouli, Sandalwood and Mousse de Sax.(A huge Thank you to Parlux Fragrances for providing me with the info on this fragrance🖤) . For starters, i am in LOVE with this scent and bottle. I was definitely spot on about this being a sexy and sophisticated scent, but totally wrong about the Gold Rush part lol. Prior to knowing the notes, i would've had no idea Tuberose was a note in this fragrance. Everything is so well blended. Upon fisrt spray, i can immediately detect a blend of bergamot and Patchouli. From that point on, the bergamot and patchouli is accompanied by a slightly sweet floral accord and some woods that carries through the dry down. Mousse De Saxe was a note that caught my eye(but not my nose😆)because I've never smelled it or heard of it before until today. According to the Perfume Shrine blogspot, "The "Mousse de Saxe accord" is comprised of geranium, licorice (created with anise), isobutyl quinoline (leather notes), iodine and vanillin (synthesized vanilla). It was used since the turn of the 20th century and produced by the great aroma-producing firm of De Laire, a composite made by Marie Thérèse de Laire". So my best guess is that the mousse de saxe is what gives Luxe Rush it's sweet accord. . Luxe Rush lasted a good 5 hours on my skin and gave about 2-3 feet of projection. Overall, Luxe Rush is a very well done scent and i think will appeal to a much larger crowd because it's slightly mature while retaining a young and playful vibe to it. The only fault I can find in this fragrance is its weak longevity. Otherwise, it's exactly what I was expecting when I blind bought it!! ♡ Seriously, the pyramid is spot on. The milk mousse accord is delicious and noticeable from start to finish. It fascinates me that I can actually smell the foamy texture! Together with the patchouli, they take the fragrance into a gourmand direction, but not overwhelmingly so. Add the subtly intoxicating florals, and the overall impression is more akin to a magic potion instead of frosty cupcakes. Edible, but beware! ...Y'know? I can understand why the bergamot / patch / sandalwood combo may feel masculine to some, but the end result is undoubtedly on the feminine side. If anyone knows fragrances similar to Luxe Rush but with better longevity, I'm first in line!!

When I first sprayed it, it smelled like butter cupcakes---not super sweet though. Then it dried down to a very pleasant white floral that smelled both classy and sexy. You do smell the milky/moussey note in the drydown---It smells good! I will have to try this on a night out and see how well it performs. So far so good. I'm loving that Paris is getting into the more mature scents. I love florals, spices and woods. By the way mature scents don't equal "old" or "grannyish" it just means it's for a more refined, age-appropriate audience. She is finally getting away from the fruity, sugary sweet scents for teens and women in their early 20's. So far the rush line has been a hit. I've loved every one she's come out with for that line :)

This is elegant! Something about this scent keeps me coming back for more.. there is a creaminess to it in the dry down I’m thinking it’s the milk mousse. I usually hate white florals but this is divine.. definitely my favorite out of the line. Does not smell like your typical celebrity scent. It’s a scent for a night out .. but you can definitely wear this for the office as well. I see this more on a 25 year old and up kind of crowd. Not to say teens can’t pull this off (perfume has no age limit). But it is sexy and alluring, leaning mature but not smelling dated. Love for me!

I find this to be safe and classy scent. I too feel the milky/creaminess of this. On me I get more of the milk mousse note than anything else. The sandalwood is the second most dominant note, and I notice some patchouli, but not too much. Anything/everything patchouli always smells great on me though, and I do get compliments on patchouli fragrances. I really like this and it smells way more expensive than it actually is! This smells similar to YSL Black Opium, but I think that one is slightly sweeter and has a coffee note that this doesn't have.

White florals are not my favorite and luckily I don’t pick up any tuberose lol but I get hints of all the other notes.....including peach wich isn’t listed!! I like how the patchouli is light in this too and then add the creaminess of the milk mousse with hints of floral and sandalwood. A great year round perfume that’s not too heavy or light. I find longevity and sillage to be a light moderate.....having to reapply a few hours later at some point.

Buttery & floral cream delight that eventually pares down to a lightly powdery & woody patchouli-dominant scent. The creaminess continues to linger, its effect persisting through the fragrance's life. Arms length projection, have to lean in close to a good whiff. Best suited for cool weather, but can be worn all year round with little offense. Lasts around 6 hrs, very affordable.

Got my hands on this beauty today!! The bottle is stunning, and also the perfume! In my nose, this is a patchouli-bomb, as stunning as the bottle, it's icecream with chocolate, and the drydown smells even better!! Also, l think this perfume will smell very good on a male of all ages :))

Beautiful scent I love it At first spray it’s quite strong I get the patchouli note but as it drys down it’s a lot more creamier and sweet it also smells expensive and long lasting

Luxe Rush was not on my wishlist but when I saw the beautiful bottle I knew I need to add this to my Collection no matter what. So I bought this without any high expectations. But after I received it and sprayed a little on my wrist I was more than happy to have it in my collection. Honestly Paris Hilton perfumes hardly disappoint me. Most of her Fragrances are beautiful and they're easy to wear. So here's my thoughts after using Luxe Rush a few times. Upon initial spray I get burst of bergamot & fresh peony. Gradually the white florals take the stage. It's a beautiful blend of Tuberose, Frangipani & Lily with a sweet undertone of lactonic sweetness & Patchouli. What I love about this Fragrance is it's really not overpowering so I don't get any headache from the white florals. The notes are blended so well that I can hardly detect the florals separately. And the base of Patchouli & sandalwood with sweet milk Mousse makes this Fragrance really alluring. I really enjoy this Fragrance from the very beginning till it fades away. It's a really wearable sexy white floral fragrance with added sweetness. ◼️ Longevity : I get 5 hours of longevity on skin & more than 7 hours on clothes. ◼️ Projection/Sillage : For the first few hours anyone within your hands distance will be able to smell your Perfume. For the price I think it's a beautiful option if you want to add a sexy & gorgeous but wearable White Floral perfume to your collection. I think this can easily be someone's signature scent. It's perfect for all occasions & all year round too.

Wondering around Backstage Macy’s, looking particularly for Love Rush, I stumbled upon this beauty. She was on discount and I figured “eh, what the hell.” Give it a shot. Little did I know the 2 hour whirlwind I would go on trying to figure out why in the world this smelled so nostalgic to me! Upon the first test spray, I instantly had flashes of memories from 2014 (particularly of my study abroad trip to Italy) come into my mind. I kept pacing through the store, sniffing my wrist trying to remember this PH fragrance that, by sight, I’d never come across before. I left Macy’s but the allure of this fragrance drew me right back in not even 3 minutes later. It’s not the fragrance I had my sights set on, not even a scent necessarily compelling on its own merit but, somehow it’s engaging my olfactory senses and teasing my nostalgia in a way that I quite enjoy. I bought it. I cracked it open and sprayed again. Smelling my wrists until I made it home. I searched endlessly through my virtual perfume closet on FG and my tangible one as well. After a few hours of searching and putting little clues together I finally realize: this is a near EXACT clone of Zara’s Oriental! Oriental was one of my first “grown up” perfume purchases and I remember dousing myself in it! It was spicy, amber, dark vanilla goodness with hits of peppercorn. You get all that in PH’s Luxe Rush as well. I’m so happy I bought this, as it’s an instant mood lifter to simpler times that also happens to smell nice. And... I solved the puzzle! Happy smelling, everyone. 😊

With a bolder nudge at sexiness, "Luxe Rush" goes from the slightly fruity floral top notes straight into a leathery/patchouli powdery scent which is reminiscent of "Seductive Goddess" by Baby Phat and the sweet patchouli of "La Vie EST Belle." It also reverberates some of the warm spiciness of "Fancy Nights" (FN) while steering clear of FN's 'love me or hate me but never feel in between about me" vibe. "Luxe Rush" has some nuances of greatness but Paris needs to push the envelope a bit more. She's still astutely studying the business side of it by making a fragrance that is a tad safe. Otherwise this is good! Better than "Gold Rush" on me. Quite moderate in sillage and with good longevity, I see "Luxe Rush" as great for evening wear where it's creamy fuzzines would radiate with a little chill in the air. But of course we will wear our fragrance when we choose. Nothing to hate here, sweet enough for a slightly younger crowd with a fair degree of complexity for a more mature fragrance wearer too. I own "Seductive Goddess" and "Fancy Nights" which I love so this won't be in my wardrobe too soon. Please enjoy wearing this fragrance. To those who just want to purchase to add to their collection, "Luxe Rush" is not unique overall but can stand on its own without reminding one of its predecessors!

This is a warm creamy nutty aroma. First of all the bottle is stunning with the black glitter and sleek design. The fragrance itself is so well blended I can’t really decide what it is I’m smelling. As I said above it’s a nutty mix of what feels like praline chocolates in a silk box topped off with some whipped cream. I think towards the end of the fragrance the patchouli comes out more but it’s not the earthy kind it’s more of an essence of it mixed in with some dark vanilla. It lasts about 8 hours on my skin and projects well enough to leave a cloud of a fabulous smell around me.

I absolutely adore the combo of tuberose, milk mousse and sandalwood in this for an elegant creamy floral but the sillage and longevity (on me - and to be fair my body really rapidly seems to “eat” perfume) were very poor :( gorgeous scent though if it works for your chemistry and for a great price.

I'd describe it as a sweet powdery scent + clear lily. Give it a try, if you are into powder and love lilies. Good lasting power and can feel fragrance on myself all the time, which is always very important for me. Adorable bottle is a big plus too.

This is so hard to describe. A milky patchouli maybe. A creamy, soft, fruit-chouli. The price is worth the risk. The longevity is also super impressive.

Surprisingly, this dries down to smell remarkably similar to Gold Rush.

To me this smells like a 50/50 mix of Nishane Hundred Silent Ways and Miss Dior (I've been wearing both for years so my reference is solid). Smells great but definitely doesn't last long at all. I'm hoping some time to macerate will strengthen this juice. I'll give it a year and come back. Might leave it in partial sunshine to funk it up a bit (works great for weak perfumes fyi).

I thought I’d really love this scent- there’s just something about it that nauseates me sometimes. It smells very mature and more on the masculine side to me, which is fine but I can’t stand whatever note is making me nauseous- I’ll keep this for a little and try it to see if anything changes but if not I’ll have to probably give this fragrance away.

This is more masculine scent. Makes me wonder what rush for men is like. I like it though it’s a lot of patchouli, and is totally for men.

patchouli Bomb 😷 smelled like shaving cream on me did not enjoy it at all

I knew before testing that Paris Hilton's Luxe Rush was a patchouli-dominant fragrance, yet I still found the dense patchouli opening quite confronting on the first spray. This fragrance appears to be inspired by Jessica Simpson's Fancy Nights, another patchouli-laden celebrity scent that is either a love it or hate it. I must admit that I am not a fan of Luxe Rush. I find the dense, musky patchouli, whipped cream accord and clean, crisp white lily note to be an odd blend that clashes at times on my skin. One moment the scent smells dark, mysterious and sexy, the next second I am catching wafts of synthetic, soapy white floral notes. Luxe Rush is a fairly confused mish-mash of notes. I don't understand the comparisons between Luxe Rush and Narciso Rodriguez EDT, as to my nose they are not at all similar. The bottle and packaging in-person is actually quite impressive with a gold bodice and a black glitter skirt. It is very kitsch but oddly appealing. The scent leaves much to be desired. Don't get me wrong, I have no issue with patchouli forward scents, what bothers me is this fragrance's lack of direction and its tendency to wear like a creamy white floral when the patchouli wants to send it in a different, much darker direction. For creamy white florals, I much prefer Paris Hilton Tease. Sadly this fragrance didn't work for me, but that has not deterred me from wanting to test the rest of the Rush line. Surely I will find at least one Rush fragrance that appeals to my nose.

This one is easy because patchouli is too much for many people. This seems especially true for celebrity perfumes. Patchouli is a different sweet. Deep. Earthy. That is ewww for some. For me, depending on how is done. Nevertheless Rush Luxe is patchouli centric. Keep repeating because that’s what makes it luxe or sophisticated or evening or mysterious etc etc This one is creamy. The milk mousse is secondary and makes it all creamy as different from say chocolate. I think of fruity within Paris line but she really does offer a range of scents. I forget it has lily. Compare this to Fantasy Intense. Very different. Both patchouli and it works well with cupcake. Fantasy remains sweeter. They work well layered. Luxe is not a formula dna however. This requires a bit of range in fragrance taste. It’s a bit more serious. Not flirty. Luxe handles her business. It will stand the tests of time and changing trends.

Finally this was added to the database! I only JUST heard about this at the end of summer 2020. I had no idea this was launched a year ago. Anyway...I found it online and ordered it. It shipped 2 days ago so I’m expecting it this week and will add my review promptly upon first wear. I LOVE Gold Rush. Actually...I love all Paris Hilton scents just about. There’s only maybe...two in her entire, huge collection that weren’t absolute loves for me. So I’m so hype to get this! And that bottle!! 😍😍

Longevity and silly age are only good for the first hour then it dwindles. But omg it smells nice and expensive. This is my third Paris Hilton and I can’t believe how good and high quality they smell. They’re not your typical celebrity fruity overly sweet and synthetic smelling. Now I want to discover more of her perfumes. Edit: After wearing it a few times I decided that I actually don't like it. It smells good in the bottle but on me its a total thumbs down. I gave my bottle away.

The other reviews scared me off from trying this one as I don't like masculine scents on myself. I really regret it because this is absolutely amazing, it's a classy and sexy chocolate scent. Not overly gourmand, it's perfectly balanced. I agree with the person who said this is similar to Black Opium, however I wouldn't go as far as saying similar, more like in the same category. Luxe rush is a bit darker but still sweet. Also, this has nothing in common with Narciso Rodriguez.

While the bottle is gorgeous I'm not sure about the scent...very patchouli forward masculine leaning, mature, slight aromatic and soapy maybe it's the lily...no sweetness...normally I enjoy patchouli but this is woody patchouli...not a fan...I thought milk mousse on the drydown would be its saving grace to add sweetness but no it just adds slight creamy texture...it gives cheap hand soap vibes...I will revisit in a few months to see if anything changes...

I love the bottle color scheme... and the notes? This seemed like a total winner! Luxe Rush starts out creamy, sweet with an almost buttery nuance. It eventually gets powdery and the sweetness takes a step back and the fragrance gets deeper... it started to remind me of something else... Eventually, I realized it was YSL Black Opium.

You guys annoy me lol ALLLL patchouli fragrances need 5 minutes at least to settle before you can say you don't like it ... this becomes creamy , good value buy

I do like this fragrance. I prefer Platinum Rush over this, especially as a unisex fragrance. This isn’t as strong either. Definitely a bit spicier and warmer.

If Tom Ford threw this juice into one of their bottles and called it Mousse Patchouli no one would bat an eye. Super expensive smelling in my opinion.

This smells much more expensive than the $20 it costs. Very similar to the Sinner from Kat Von D. Will review on my channel soon 😉
